- Nahal (4/5): Non sense of responsibility of personnel ! - location. We stayed only one night in this hotel, but encountered a mountain of problems. When booking on Booking, I clearly specified that we were two adults and one child, and the booking suggested a double room with the note “your child will stay for free at this hotel.” In such cases (based on our experience with Booking), the hotel usually provides a room with a double bed plus an extra bed added for the child. Upon arrival, to our great surprise, the receptionist calmly handed us the key to a double room. When we asked, “Where will our child sleep?”, she replied, “But you booked a double room, so there is only one double bed,” and said it was not possible to add another bed. After a lot of discussion, she finally agreed to add one. When we entered the room, it was so small that with the extra bed added, we practically had to step over our suitcases just to move around and get to the bed. The bathroom was tiny as well. The breakfast was very, very basic, and you have to eat it on tables that are far too small to even fit a cup and a plate comfortably. After checking out, while on the road to Guatavita, we realized we had forgotten three packs of high-quality French cheese that we had bought for friends in the room’s fridge. We called the hotel twice, and a receptionist confirmed that they had found the cheese in the fridge and would keep it for us until we came back to pick it up. We drove an extra 60 km to return to the hotel, but once at the reception, they said, “We don’t know what packages you’re talking about.” They denied receiving any call or finding anything in the fridge. After a lot of anger and arguments, it turned out that the cleaning staff had thrown the packages away—and we actually found them by searching through a trash bin next to the hotel! This is outrageous. They showed no sense of responsibility, and when we asked for compensation, they told us to provide a receipt for the cheese (of cours we no we no longer had the receipt). it was our last day in

El desayuno está correcto pero no lo describiría como fantástico. Las calles aledañas de noche son un poco feas pero nada grave. En el baño había bastante olor a cloaca, muy poca ventilación, se podría mejorar. Dentro de la habitación se escucha TODO lo que pasa en los pasillos, incluso el timbre de la planta baja (estando en el primer piso), lo que dificulta el descanso.

El hotel queda cerca del Poblado pero en un área donde no se escucha mucho bullicio lo cual es bueno para descansar Me cobraron una cantidad errónea al hacer check in y nadie pudo responder por que realizaron esto. Va casi un mes y aún espero respuestas y que me devuelvan el dinero. La comunicación para resolver esto ha sido pésima. No nos gustó la decoración del hotel me pareció muy sobrio como si fuera un hospital, esperaba un poco más para el precio que pagamos. Adicional el hotel queda en una calle llena de vagabundos y basura por lo que no se siente seguro para caminar en la noche El desayuno es muy limitado y frío.

- María (5/5): Insatisfactoria relación precio calidad - 1) El desayuno es demasiado básico, ni tiene variedad, me refiero a pan, dos tipos de fruta y agua para café, pedí cocoa para los niños y tenía el polvo costo adicional, pero lo más malo es que siempre ponen en cantidades mínimas y no hacen refill cuando se termina. 2) En fotos el alojamiento es “espectacular” pero a su ingreso está rodeado de basura, indigentes, eso produce una pésima apreciación en todo momento. 3) El personal no es amable. 4) las habitaciones son muy pequeñas. The room was clean and confortable, location great, a bit hidden but a 5min walk distance to El Parque del Poblado and the Main Street. The night front desk attendant Bryan was helpful and the kindness person you can find. He made our stay wonderful

- Piamsterda (4/5): Dissapointing - Our 3 night stay here was dissapointing. For the price we expected a ' hotel' feel, but instead it felt like a hostel. First the positives: The room was big, the tv was huge and the shower was good. Also the bed was comfortable. Service with a smile! Now the negatives: The couch was dirty and full of stains. The kitchen was empty, no cutlery, crockery etc. but we did get a message saying we would be charged for any broken or missing items. We even had to go to reception to ask for glasses and got plastic cups instead... The safe was directly on the floor in the cupboard, which meant we had to get down on our hands and knees to use it. Breakfast was a joke, beyond minimal.
- hbaxamoosa (10/5): Nice hotel, central location, great staff. - Our family of four enjoyed our stay at the Somos Central, located in Poblado Medillin. The hotel is located close to many shops, restaurants, and cafes. The Blue line station is a short 10 minute walk, which makes it very convenient to make your way around the city. The rooms are very nice, and the breakfast is great. Staff was polite and helpful.

Located in the heart of the Poblado, it is a convenient location walking distance to restaurants, bars, supermarkets, shopping, and the Poblado Metro station. Rooms are very comfortable. High rooms have a great view. We ate our breakfast in the hotel breakfast buffet, which was excellent, offering a wide variety of choices including fresh fruit and fruit juices. On the negative side, the wifi is very slow. All in all, apart from the wifi, a good choice for a Medellín holiday or business trip.
