• Miklós (1/5): Not good. - I was put into room G4, which is appr. 8 squaremeters, without any lockers or cupboards and right next to the receptionist desk. You can here every phone conversation and step from your bed as if they were in the room.

• Rim (4/5): Cleanness not up to standards for the price and rating of the hotel (4 stars). Loud noise from the streets. - Spacious and comfortable room. A rarity for that location in London. Staff at reception are very nice and helpful. They really made the difference. On check in, the room was clean. The following days for the rest of the stay, the room was not properly cleaned. Trash was left in the room which gave a bad smell, bed not done properly, bathroom not cleaned, etc. Very noisy from the streets. You can literally feel shaking when a truck passes in front of the hotel.
• Sacha (8/5): You will not find anywhere as nice for the location and price! - You couldn't get any more central London if you tried. Not even 5 minutes away from Kings X/ St Pancras. Was once a hostel so im told and you can tell from the clever use of every inch that it was. Renovated recently to a good standard, shower room was clean and water pressure good. It says compact and it MEANS compact, but perfectly comfortable for me (im 5 ft 6). TV on wall. I had booked a windowless room for the savings but was given one with a window and im glad I was. Housekeeping good, plenty of towels. You will NOT get a room so central for this price.....but..... No kettle/coffee making facilities, no iron or hairdryer. Stairs are compact and quite steep. Could be noisy at peak times but I slept fine both nights. And a total personal preference but the only breakfast options are vegetarian (but lovely!) so no full English! I will be back and just go to a local place rather than paying for breakfast next time.

Would have prefered an upstairs room with a window outlook. Was very noisy on reaching our room at 10.44 pm. until we realised after half hour that the r skylight window was open. Overall tho a good modern room for a nights stay

• Gloria Robuschi (1/5): Very misleading and poor experience - We were extremely disappointed with our stay. We booked one hotel and were unexpectedly placed in a completely different property without proper prior notice. The corridors were filthy and clearly not maintained to an acceptable standard. The room was incredibly small and looked nothing like the photos shown on the website and most of all super noisy. Overall, the experience was very misleading and far below expectations. Absolutely not. The property did not match what was advertised, cleanliness standards were poor, and the overall experience was terrible. I would not recommend staying here.

• Dan (7/5): Good stay and some photos that are very cool - Very central location for this short stay where I was staying to take some photos of the local area. I had a free upgrade on the room that I booked initially. I did request a ground floor room preferably as there is no lift at this hotel and small people may find the bathroom is not very large but practical for me.
• Rod (7/5): Good value especially having to book the room at a late date. - Location was ideal for Kings Cross and St Pancras. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Everything was spotlessly clean. We had a very compact room on the ground floor, which we expected, but the air condition unit was just outside the bedroom window and it was very noisy all night
• Guna (5/5): Tiny, but it’s fine for a night or two, if you’re spending most of your time outside the hotel. - The location is great, just a short walk from Kings Cross but away from all the messiness. Staff was very friendly. The room felt quite new and I liked that I could open the window and it had a cute view. Everything was clean in my room and the bed was comfy. It’s so tiny. Like really, really tiny. There’s nowhere to put anything - not a single chair or a shelf, so all your belongings will be lying on the tiny floorspace. In the mornings sleeping in is impossible - the housekeeping starts cleaning and constantly slamming the doors and the sound isolation is so bad that it feels like they’re in your room. I paid 350 pounds for 2 nights for a single bed, which feels insane, but then again - nothing much more affordable wasn’t available in the neighborhood.

Really good location for Kings Cross/St Pancras. Breakfast menu showed alternative milk options, which were not available for our breakfast, which limited choice

• Natalie (9/5): - Das Zimmer war bei der Ankunft sehr sauber. Jeden 2.Tag war der Zimmerservice nicht so gut.Das heisst, es waren nicht alle Abfallkübel geleert und die Tassen waren nicht sauber. An den anderen 2 Tagen war alles tip top. Einziger Mangel nach 4 Tagen/ Nächten waren die Staubflusen am Boden.( Laminat) Zimmer sind klein,aber sehr ok zum Übernachten.

It was nice not to have a view of just another building. The air conditioning was very good. The room was just too small. Way too small! It seriously lacked anywhere to put things such as my phone, contents of pockets, keys, etc. It needed a shelf on the wall for this purpose. I said this when I checked out. The very narrow stairs made it difficult to get my case to the 2nd floor. No tea/coffee making facility in my room was a big disappointment!

However, it has now been six days and I still have not received the refund. I was not given any information about the refund process when I left the hotel, which is quite disappointing. I would appreciate some clarity on when and how the deposit will be returned.

• Paula (7/5): Great location and lovely staff, but a few limitations - Great location for St Pancras, less than 10 minutes walk, which was perfect for an overnight stay before catching the Eurostar. Staff were all really friendly, polite and professional, and we were kindly upgraded on arrival which was a lovely surprise. The room was clean, modern and comfortable with a nice bathroom, decent shower, air con, kettle and thoughtful little extras like dental and shaving kits. Our room also had two windows that opened which was great for fresh air and a real bonus. The stairs were narrow and there is no lift, so worth bearing in mind with luggage. Our room at the front had some road noise, which is understandable on a busy London road, and the walls are quite thin so you can hear other guests. The bathroom extractor fan also didn’t work at all. Breakfast was probably the weakest part, with only a few hot options and a very small breakfast space, so it felt quite limited and a bit basic for the price paid.

• Dave (5/5): Satisfactory stay with adequate facilities - The location was great and worked well using the Eurostar. The breakfast was a bit underwhelming but sufficient. We felt the photograph of the room we booked was a bit misleading and it was certainly "compact"! A shelf to place items on would have been helpful.

• Sofia (9/5): Lovely hotel for an overnight stay - The room and bathroom were very clean and the bed was a good size and comfortable. The shower was lovely and spacious considering the size of the bathroom, same goes for the bed, and there was also a thermostat in the room. We also had a TV with lots of channels/streaming options which was great and the staff were very helpful and friendly. There was also a nice variety of food at breakfast. The hotel is in a great location as it’s very close to King’s Cross station, and the noise from the station was minimal. The only issue I had was that our room was visible from the window in the corridor, so we had to keep the curtains drawn for privacy. This wasn’t a massive issue as we were only there late at night and early in the morning, but wouldn’t have been ideal if we were staying longer. It would have also been nice to have a small table and chair so I had somewhere to sit to do my makeup and hair rather than sitting on the floor, again we weren’t there long so it didn’t bother me too much.

Especially Harsh, he was very polite and professional. My only issue was that my room was extremely hot, air con wasn’t strong enough for a room with no window. Woke up a few times very sweaty.
