• Sophie (9/5): Comfy and clean room - Room looked great, bed was comfortable. Easy access for out of hours via keypad. Air con! The cost was a tad high for me, but I was still happy with what I got.
• Tara (1/5): Do not stay at this hotel if you require any sleep - Nothing The noise at this hotel is ridiculous. I did not sleep one bit After calling multiple times and emailing. The kitchen is right under neath the rooms and the staff have no consideration for the hotel guests clashing and banging plates. Vocally being loud. I complained and nothing happened was told the kitchen was shut and had to then go downstairs again ro inform the noise was still deafening. It’s a Monday evening. The hotel is expensive and noise within the hotel from the staff isn’t okay. Then the staff members finished shifts and what sounded like outside my room till early hours talking loudly. Once again nothing was done and was told it wasn’t them when it clearly was as I recognised faces. Absolutely would never stay here again

• Liam (9/5): Great value, great location 100% recommend - Location is brilliant 50 yards from Ladbroke Grove station. staff were really helpful. Above a pub but you can’t hear anything in the room. Room is modern. The coffee machine hasn’t been cleaned there was floating bits inside the water, put us off using it but that didn’t have any effect on our opinion of the place still loved our stay

• Raeanne (10/5): Great stay! - Great location near the underground with lots of restaurants and a market nearby. The room was clean and comfy. It’s right above the pub and noise was not a problem. Also loved the stylish renovation of the building.

• Jeanne (7/5): Correct pour quelques nuits - L’emplacement est super : juste à côté du métro et du bus, quartier sympa, et à 20 min de St Pancras. Bonne pression de la douche. Thé et petits gâteaux à dispo dans la chambre. Bonne taille de la chambre. Bruyant : on entend très bien le bruit du pub en dessous. (Pour info ça ferme à minuit en semaine et à 1h le week-end.) Le chauffage ne fonctionnait pas bien. La douche inonde la salle de bain à chaque utilisation. Une seule grande serviette pour deux (et plusieurs petites).
• Vanessa (8/5): Superleuke locatie! - De locatie was fantastisch, de bussen stoppen voor de deur en 50 meter verderop zit de tram Dat er geen ontbijt mogelijk was maar vooral dat er geen verwarming op de kamer was. Het was echt freezing koud.

It was really disturbing for me, I only stayed for one night but honestly because of this noise I couldn’t have stayed any longer. Couldn’t do a proper check out because nobody was there.

• claire (7/5): Great stay for a good price. Beware of late night loud music. - Good quality accommodation for a reasonable price . Great bathroom and facilities in the room. The noise from the disco below went on till late

• Andrew (3/5): Noisy - The bed and pillows were nice and comfy and the shower was nice and hot The rooms are very small and do not look exactly like the photos. If you are wanting to stay somewhere and get a good night sleep DO NOT stay here. The pub below is open till 1am in the morning and despite being a few floors up all you can hear is the music booming through the floor its ridiculously loud. You also can hear the kitchen banging around and ringing bells when food is ready meaning you can’t relax or even bother trying to sleep till gone 1am. The hallways around the rooms are also very old and noisy meaning you are always hearing some form of noise, not only this but due to the doors being fire doors the slamming of other occupants doors will also keep you awake throughout the night/morning
• Sakon (10/5): - Sehr schönes Hotel/Zimmer, an Ausstattung hatte nichts gefehlt und Check-in (im Pub an der Theke), sowie Check-out lief reibungslos. Man hatte einen separaten Zugang zu den Zimmern, dass echt super war, statt ständig durch den Pub laufen zu müssen. Außerdem war die nächste U-Bahn Station 1 Minute Fußweg entfernt. Im großen und ganzen war es ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt und wir kommen gerne wieder.

• Doris (10/5): - Unser Aufenthalt war super! Vom Flughafen gut mit der U-Bahn zu erreichen; Underground-Station nur wenige Schritte vom Hotel entfernt; Portobello-Road um die Ecke! Zimmer super gemütlich und geräumig. Pub und Diningroom in der unteren Etage! Sehr praktisch! Wenn wir das nächste Mal nach London reisen werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder diese Unterkunft buchen. Eine sehr schöne Gegend!

• Melina (8/5): Pratique et agréable - Nous avons apprécié la localisation de l'hôtel et faire partie d'un pub. Nous avons aussi apprécié la décoration dans la chambre et le calme malgré le pub. La chambre était un peu petite Un peu cher mais c'est a priori dans la moyenne des prix dans le quartier

• Ian (7/5): Great Location - This hotel, located above the pub, is in a great location and made for a really convenient stay. The rooms were immaculate, very clean, and extremely comfortable. A lovely place to stay, and we would happily return. The music from the pub below was very loud, which made it hard to fully relax. That said, it didn’t spoil our day, and we still enjoyed our stay.

Old property- No elevator, small rooms and no breakfast available. The pub down stairs was pretty noisy but in fairness the rooms were pretty insulated. Would have been much happier if it wasn’t soo expensive!!

• Magali (9/5): Great location, friendly staff, comfy rooms, but no lift and limited luggage assistance. - The entrance is through the bar downstairs. The staff is super friendly — they even offered us a free drink each. The room is small but comfortable, very quiet considering it is located at a busy avenue. The air conditioning worked perfectly for the heat these days in London. The property is very well located, close to both a Tube and bus station, with great connections. The bar downstairs serves very good food; we had dinner there both nights. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and reasonable prices. The only downside we found is that the rooms start on the third floor and there’s no lift. When we arrived, there was a lovely girl who kindly helped us with our luggage, but when we left at 9 a.m., there was no one around to assist us.

• Redmond (8/5): Nice stay with a relaxing morning in a comfortable room. - Good size room. Comfortable feels like home. Show was good but water went all over the floor. It was noisy until quite late. May be double glazed windows would help.

• Christine (8/5): Loved the room extremely quiet & immaculately clean. Great Location! - We didn’t have breakfast but we did eat in the bar on arrival & the food & drinks were excellent. Good value for money. Our only criticism is the system to get into the hotel after hours. Our key fob did not allow entry after many attempts & trying to input code we rang helpline number no reply. Very frustrating after half an hour the key pad lit up & code allowed us entry.
• Simon (8/5): Could be better at £495 for 2 nights - The team were very friendly and the room was clean and presentable. However the rain shower head squirted water in random directions , the Air con unit leaked, this was evident from the stains in the door. We had to place a towel on the floor to soak the drips and water toucher !! The team were very friendly, as our Itinerary was demanding,we saw very few of them. The access code didn't work. We worked out that the key fob worked on the key pad , and not on the lock hub as shown 😕.
• Grant (9/5): Comfy and close to EVERYTHING... Perfect location! - The Bed was really comfy and the Aircon worked well, as did the shower. The fact that I could actually open the window was great because most hotels these days have windows that don't open. Having the pub downstairs was cool... As I didn't have to go far to find dinner (the food was great). The rooms are also soundproof and the only noise I ever heard from the pub was when people were chatting in the street outside but closing my window solved that problem. There are SO many great restaurants nearby and the Portobello road market is a street block away, it's less than 100m from the tube station and the bus stops across the road. I would stay here again and again! The room was a bit small for a 7 night stay but it was all I needed as I was alone... Had there been 2 of us, I would not have lasted 7 nights.

• Alun (1/5): Five false fire alarms and no response to complaint :( - Location Some staff good Food in pub nice FIVE false firm alarms on second night of stay. No response from hotel when we asked for refund. Staff don’t seem bothered about the fire alarm going off. Very very noise area, although sound proofing in room good. However not easy to get a good night sleep if you have window open. Steep stairs to room no lift
• K4657YSgregp (4/5): BEWARE! - “This is not a hotel”, these are the words of the bartender who lets us in after standing in the cold for 20 minutes. She was very nice and apologetic, but has nothing to do with managing the rooms. There is no front desk or actual hotel entrance that is open. It took several phone calls for someone to answer and then eventually tell us that someone would open the doors to the pub to let us in. All we wanted to do was to store our luggage until our room was ready, but there is no open entrance if you arrive before 11.There is only a pub that opens at 11 which has very small rooms above it. We booked a king bed deluxe room, but got a queen bed standard room with a tiny bathroom with a shower that soaked the bathroom floor each time. When someone finally answered again, we were told that there are no king beds and no offer to refund us for not giving us the room that we booked. We liked Notting Hill a lot, but we will never stay at this place again. As the bartender said…this is not a hotel.
• Greg (4/5): - We booked a king deluxe room. We got a queen standard room, and was told by the manager(owner?) that there are no king beds. There is no front desk or entry into a hotel. There is only a pub(which opens at 11) with very small sleeping rooms(and tiny bathrooms) above it with four flights of stairs to get to the rooms. It might work if all you have is a backpack and don’t mind cleaning the bathroom floor every time you shower.

Very small double room but everything well presented and clean with a nice design style. Air con saved us from a hot weekend weather wise. Great location so near to Portobello.

• Rachel (8/5): Great rooms above a great pub! - Great little pub with rooms above and in a great location right by Ladbroke Grove tube station. I ate in the bar and the food was great and you get a 10% discount as a resident of the hotel. No iron in the room and I just couldn't be bothered to go back down to the pub to ask for one once I was up in my room. If you need an iron then I would suggest that you ask for one when you check-in

• Clare (9/5): Modern chic hotel. - Spotlessly clean, modern chic hotel. Comfy beds. Shame only stayed for one night so didn’t get to taste the food which looked amazing. Didn’t like noise of traffic coming from outside at night. Need to invest in double/triple glazing.

• Helen (6/5): Excellent location, however, the room was very small - not what we paid for unfortunately. - Location was excellent and the pub looked very nice. The shower was also very good and the bed was comfy (when it wasn't moving away from the wall!). The room was incredibly small - we paid extra for a bigger room but didn't get what we paid for. We were offered a round of drinks to make up for it. I didn't find the room was that clean, a bit disappointing. The bed was also a nuisance as it wasn't attached to the wall so whilst attempting to sit in bed, the bed would creep forward leaving a huge gap- it might sound like a small thing but it was frustrating.
