The slightly odd part was the bathroom being up a flight of stairs with the rest of the space being downstairs, including the toilet. The air con was welcome and a mini fridge too. Nice to have tea and coffee facilities. Convenient bus into the old town and close to to the train station.
• Hedda (10/5): Would stay there again! - Great location, a 5 minute walk from the train station, plenty of public transport available, for which the hotel gives you a free pass. Very friendly service, the breakfast has plenty of choice and the room was spotless. Only drawback, rooms overlooking the street can be noisy but there is air conditioning, so one can keep windows closed at night.

A bus route stopped directly in front of the hotel. Several attractions were within walking distance. The only opportunity for improvement was the breakfast. There were few selections.

• F (8/5): - Very well located with a bus station in front of the property which is very handy. Breakfast was included and was very complete and good! The only issue we had was that the property had limited hot water for showering so some of us ended up showering with cold water, but the host explained that it was an issue over the two days we stayed and had already called the plumber.

• Abhimanyu (2/5): Good hotel but heating issues made it not nice - While the property is nice and clean, we unfortunately don’t have a good experience as neither of us could sleep at night - the room has underfloor heating and the temperature control couldn’t be found. As the room was too hot, we couldn’t lower the temperature, and the reception was closed, we were left in a very uncomfortable room. We opened the windows all night and that still wasn’t sufficient to cool the room. On top the noise of cars from the street added to the difficulty of sleeping. In the morning we spoke with the reception and they said there’s a manual valve to control the temperature in the room. We still couldn’t locate it despite looking everywhere. The hotel also said they couldn’t offer us a refund and that the person who checked us in should have shown us how to change the temperature. Quite a pity that we weren’t able to sleep despite no fault of ours and the hotel didn’t help.

• FABIANA (10/5): Hotel aconchegante e com excelente localização - Localização próxima a rodoviária, cerca de 5 minutos a pé. Tem um ponto de ônibus na frente. Quarto super espaçoso, acomodou perfeitamente 4 pessoas. Limpeza impecável. Colchões super confortáveis. Café da manhã com grande variedade de itens. Adorei a pousada e Salzburgo.
• Marcus (8/5): Schönes ruhiges Hotel in Zentrumsnähe - Was wir gut fanden: geräumiges Zimmer unterm Dach, deshalb sehr hoher Raum. Moderne Einrichtung in alter renovierter Villa, Blick auf die Dächer der Stadt und die Berge, gutes Bett, Fahrstuhl, gutes Frühstück (im Preis inkludiert), Parkplätze direkt am Haus, Bushaltestelle (alle 10-15 Minuten) direkt vor dem Hotel, 15 Minuten ins Zentrum, reibungsloser Check In and Out, Sekt und Süssugkeiten zu Sylvester / Neujahr. Was wir vermissten: funktionierendes TV und -Fernbedienung (haben wir wieder in Gang gebracht), Fußbodenheizung nicht regelbar (zu warm), haben die Fenster geöffnet; Schranktüren ohne Griffe, Push and Open Funktion nicht gegeben , ließen sich nur mit einem Trick öffnen, Dichtsilikon in der Dusche stellenweise etwas spröde und verunreinigt , müsste erneuert werden. Alle Themen haben wir mit dem sehr freundlichen Hotelbesitzer besprochen, sie werden zeitnah behoben bzw. optimiert. Und sonst: an Silvester und Neujahr zahlen Sie etwa das Doppelte der sonst üblichen Zimmerpreise in Salzburg. Dafür bekommen Sie ein unvergessliches Erlebnis, wenn Sie die Angebote der Stadt nutzen!

Windows were essentially soundproof once closed. Decent breakfast. Taking some stairs was unavoidable, as the elevator only stopped between flights, but it did make going up and down easier. Very close to the Salzburg Hauptbahnhof and several buses stop across the street or just down the block. Would happily stay there again!

• Wolfgang (6/5): Erwartungen enttäuscht - Fehlende Ablagen im Bad, kein Vergrößerungsspiegel, Wasserablauf in der Dusche völlig unzureichend, zu wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten für Kleidung, Wasserkocher vorhanden und am 1.Tag auch 2 Kaffeeportionen, die nicht mehr jeden Morgen erneuert wurden. Klimaanlage war gut, Fenster gut isoliert. Straße zu laut, um Fenster nachts aufzulassen.Frühstück war normal. Keine Gemeinschafträume oder Terrasse, um sich am Abend aufzuhalten. Fahrstuhl hält zwischen den Geschossen. Parkplätze auf staubiger Schotterfläche kosten 10€/Tag.

• David (8/5): - Best breakfast in town. Convenient location next to bus stop. Hands on management. Room on top floor had faults with noise and shaking when heavy buses passed by. The bathroom shower door did not seal water and it flowed into the bathroom floor. The bathroom sink stand barely held anything and when trying to wash face it butted into the head.
• Michael (8/5): Very Friendly staff - As with all our stops the hotel (villa) was an easy walk from Salzburg's main train station and a 15 minute walk into the main part of town. Room was a good size and it was a little quirky with the toilet one side of the bed and the bathroom the other. The owner (or manager) and his wife & daughter were extremely friendly and would do anything to help. The room had no kettle, however there was an espresso machine just outside of reception where you could make yourself any type of coffee, a hot chocolate or just hot water for tea. If you are checking in on a Sunday it is wise to advise them of your expected time of arrival or you may not be able to get into the property. It seems the reception is only manned on a Sunday when needed. Breakfast was ok with only a small variety of hot dishes.

• Lisa (10/5): 1 night stay - Location was convenient. We stayed 1 night before an early flight from the airport. It was a 20 minute bus ride to Salzburg airport and the bus stop was 2 minutes walk from the accommodation. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Room was clean and modern witha small mini fridge. They met our needs by letting us check in slightly early and giving us a takeaway breakfast for an early flight.

• Wilsun (10/5): - Overall this is a good hotel to stay. Staffs are friendly and helpful. There is one thing that is not convenient: the air conditioning of each room is controlled by the hotel. The guest can only turned it on/off. There is no control on temperature and fan. This is a strange practice and it has caused some difficulties for me to sleep well. (My room faces the street and is very noisy if I open the window)

The beds were very comfortable and the room even came with a sliding door. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was something that we looked forward to as everything was fresh.
