- Aurelien (1/5): Not recommended - Decent value for a one night stay. Basic accommodation with bed and shower of decent standard. I wouldn't book it for longer than one night; it is quite far from the city and you need to walk for over 30 mins to reach it from the airport or take a taxi for 6/7 mins.
The owner or person who runs it took €10 from me, claiming it for "notorno" - it felt like o was being taken advantage of because I couldn't speak Italian.

- Guest (1/5): This experience was distressing and inappropriate on multiple levels. - Nothing. Staying at Airport Napoli B&B was one of the worst and most uncomfortable experiences of my life. If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would. From the moment we arrived, it was chaotic. We hadn’t been given the code to access the iron gate on the street, and a neighbour’s child had to let us in. There was no signage or guidance to indicate where the rooms were, again, it was the same child who pointed us in the right direction. While the host, Antonio, didn’t speak English, we managed using Google Translate, so that in itself wasn’t an issue but the overall communication and setup were extremely poor. However, what followed was far more serious.
The B&B is located in Secondigliano, a district in the outskirts of Naples that I would not recommend to tourists, especially not to women travelling alone or in small groups. The area felt extremely run-down, poorly lit, and quite unsafe, particularly at night. It’s far from central Naples and has none of the vibrancy or security you might expect in a more tourist-oriented area. We felt out of place and uncomfortable from the moment we arrived, and this unease only grew as the stay progressed.Antonio knocked and after we answered the door, he entered our room uninvited, which immediately felt inappropriate and unsettling. Later, when I asked if there was a nearby cash machine, he offered to take me , not both of us, just me, which I found odd. I went, as we needed cash for the city tax, but during the drive he began asking how old I was, calling me “bella” (pretty), and making other personal comments that made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. On the drive back, he looked at me and said “bella?” as if asking if I thought I was pretty. I replied “no,” and he responded “sì, sì, sì” in a way that felt very inappropriate. Shortly after, he gestured to a house at the end of the street the B&B was on and asked, “my house?”, as if inviting me there. I declined. Women alone or small groups, AVOID!

- Kate (10/5): Exceptional - I liked the bedroom. It was very comfortable. Also, the proprietor was very kind and helpful. The area around
- Raluca (3/5): Poor - I liked that the room was relatively clean, and when I called the property, someone did answer and provided us with the access information. I didn’t like that the check-in details were only sent after I called, even though I had messaged the property in advance to inform them our flight was delayed. The room wasn’t as clean as I had expected. Although breakfast was supposed to be included, all we found were a few croissants and slices of toast that had already been left in the room, definitely not what I would consider a proper breakfast. On top of that, even though we knew about the €4.50 city tax, the next morning someone knocked on our door asking for an extra €5 per person because we arrived after 10 PM. This fee was never mentioned anywhere in the listing or in our conversations. It felt unprofessional and left us with a negative impression.
- Andreea (1/5): Bad -
- Maris (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect place for money and to stay.
- Cristina (7/5): Good - The person in charge of the check in when I arrived scammed me, took 6 euro instead of 4,5 for city tax, while insisting it was the right amount, while it wasn't. He also insisted on driving me to the city the next day for 10 euro, which I had to refuse multiple times.
- Mahato (8/5): Very good - Clean
- Ahsan (1/5): Misleading place, very disappointing - Was not able to find and was is in an unsafe place No one spoke any English
- Elise (1/5): WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Do not stay here, very unsafe, especially for young women. Locked out. Bad. - I did not like anything. Experience from 2 young women: After arranging a late check in with the owner months prior to our stay, we arrived at 12am to our accomodation. We were locked out of our accomodation, on the dangerous streets of Naples for 1 hour. We used the phone number posted on the front door, however received no response from the owner to let us in. We were feeling extremely unsafe, and many people were out late at night ignoring us when we asked for help. Eventually, at 1am, an onlooker took pity on us and put in the code for the front door, which led us to a dark, empty, outdoor courtyard with no further instructions. After 1 hour of waiting, we received instructions through a rude contact on WhatsApp, (which we presume was the owner), of just pictures & one sentence telling us which room we were staying in, followed by a demand of €19 for late check in fee & city tax. Finally, a neighbour heard us trying to figure out what we were doing and started yelling are us in Italian. A lady then pointed to our accommodation which was up 3 flights of old, rusty, metal stairs that we were required to drag our suitcases up at 1:30am. As we entered our apartment, there were three rooms and we worked out where to go. The room was standard, however, there were pipes exposed in the bathroom and an obvious smell from the plumbing. The shower was also ice cold, and flooded our bathroom. After a restless sleep, we were awoken to a man pounding on our internal door to our room, meaning he has access to the apartment we were in. After responding, the man said nothing and walked off. 30 mins later another man came knocking, and spoke no English at all. After opening the door, the man introduced himself as Antonio and explained to us through translate that he was the airport transfer driver. He was nice, so we organised our transfer with him to the airport. We later realised he had no affiliation with the accomodation or apartment, and was just a friendly neighbour. DO NOT STAY HERE!
- Mervin (1/5): Bad -
- Max (7/5): Good - Location near airport. Good room state The host tried to take more money for city tax then was displaying in booking. Hi was tough and it took some effort to defend my position. After his son or someone else from whom I was communicating in WhatsApp told him. Also pillows was not comfortable
- Gokul (1/5): Scam shady and worse. Do not recommend at all. - Decent amenities in the room. Bathroom is clean. Shady location and area. It is not near to airport. At least 2.5 to 3km from the entrance of airport. Staff was rude and borderline harassed us to give more money. Unpleasant experience. Choose this hotel if you want to have a terrible day.
- Gaurav (4/5): Disappointing - The accommodation was equipped with AC, TV with Netflix account, kitchen and a washing machine. Okay for a night of stay. It's a long walk from the airport. The neighborhood, especially during the night after 22:00 hours feels quite unsafe. Totally unclear check in instructions and process. We arrived around 22:15 at the main door and had to wait a little bit until someone opened the doors. Antonio demanded a 4.5€ tourist-tax and 10€ late check in after 22:30 hours (we had already arrived before that)!! In the description it says check in until 23:00 hours, and that's why we actually booked it. This man was quite insistent to the limit of being pushy on dropping off his guests. We wanted to take the city bus and tried to explain to him to no avail. It was our first day and we didn't want to set a stressful beginning to the trip, so we agreed. Avoid if possible. Be careful if you must book.
- Jamie (2/5): Very poor - The hotel is a 2 mile walk from the airport, much further than described.
When we arrived we had an aggressive local pestering to book his private taxi (unlicensed) to and from the airport. He followed us into our room to continue his sales pitch.
He left a sour taste in my mouth and I’d be wary if you are looking to book here.
- Max (5/5): Passable - Close to the airport for our flight back home. Small but ok for 1 night. Room was clean. Fabulous take out pizza close by. TV had no reception. Watch out for the man hanging around outside, says he is owners father. Followed us into our room asking for 9 euro tourist tax. Showed him message from owner stating 3 euro each per night. He took 10 euro, eventually gave me 2 back. Still waiting for 2 euro. He obviously does this to all visitors. So beware. The tax is 3 euro per person per night. No loo seat
- Vanessa (3/5): I won't chose it anymore. -
- Neemalen (4/5): Disappointing - Courteous and very nice staff Poor access to room on second floor. Difficult to reach as the signage was hardly visible. Bed not confortable
- Samed (2/5): Unsafe stay with door banging, shouting, and hidden charges. - Room was clean We thought this place was close to the airport because of the name, but it was a very bad experience.
1. It’s actually 35 minutes walking from the airport, and the area is one of the most unsafe in Naples (you can check it on internet and Google Maps).
2. The host was only on WhatsApp and not helpful. The door code didn’t work, and a neighbor let us in.
3. Right after we entered, someone started knocking hard on the door and shouting something in Italian. We said many times that we don’t speak Italian, but he didn’t stop.
We messaged the host, and he said the man is Antonio, asking for more city tax and extra €10 l(which was not on Booking and we mentioned the host). He kept hitting the door and shouting, so we gave the money. But later he came again and did the same, it took some time and it was scary. Only when we said we’d call the police, he left.
It was a scary and stressful experience. Please check the Google Maps reviews—there are many similar stories.
- Viktoria (9/5): Superb -
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Justyna (9/5): Cheap and cheerful - Handy stay for a connected flight accomodation for one night
Deffo recommend. Just would prefer to be informed about the water heater taking long to heat up the water and the city tax payment other than that all great
- Dumitru (6/5): it was ok but some aspects didn't give me confidence - We stayed one night as we had an early morning flight.
It took some time until we received the access code to the apartment. Some people who knew the code redirected us and that's how we entered the apartment and then we received information from the owner who first said he wanted to talk on whatsapp, then on booking.. I didn't have a pleasant feeling, at some point I had the feeling that it was a trap.
The room was ok and clean, unfortunately we didn't have hot water in the bathroom, there wasn't much pressure even in the cold water and it wasn't equipped with toilet paper.
The area is a bit shady, and we didn't feel completely safe. I didn't like that there were other people who knew the apartment's entry code, although I talked to them and they seemed ok, them being residents in the same yard.
The property is a 35 minute walk from the airport, and the so-called owner will offer to take you to the airport. I didn't like this aspect, he was quite insistent.
- Yuriy (2/5): A substandard accommodation with questionable conditions. - Relatively close to the airport. Deceptively close to the airport, as it is located on the opposite side of the entrance (38 min walk). The staff do not speak English and all communication via what’s up messaging or google translator. Shower drainage is particularly blocked. The owner demanded 4.5 euros per person a day for a tourist tax instead of 3 euros mentioned in the booking. Also he offered a transfer service without a clear pricing policy. Breakfast is supposed to be included, but it has ended up being a croissant with chocolate/jam and a coffee.
- Niall (5/5): If I was provided with access codes before travelling I would have been satisfied. - The bed was good. 1. Access to the "hotel". 3 bedrooms accessed by keypads up a rear staircase.
2. Only interface with Luigi or any other "staff" was via whats app text.
3. Shower took 2 minutes to warm up by which time the shower tray was overflowing.
- Nelli (10/5): Perfect stay, Modern comfort - We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was impeccably clean, with brand-new furniture and a fresh renovation, making our stay very comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with modern appliances, and the complimentary snacks and coffee were a lovely touch.
The host, Antonio, was incredibly hospitable—he treated us to delicious coffee and even helped organize our transfers. He personally drove us to the city center and the airport, always punctual like a Swiss clock.
A fantastic place for a comfortable stay—highly recommended!
- Michał (5/5): Passable - Breakfast. Location is not near airport. You have to go about 30 min to entrance of airport.
- David (5/5): Napoli-Airport BnB - The location is great, near the airport.
The locals were very friendly people. No kettle. The coffee machine didn't work.
Shower tray instantly overfilled with water, so was unusable.
The toilet seat was detached. I thought it was just loose and tried to fix it on myself, but it had actually broken.
A guy who lived next door demanded to be our taxi driver, although I repeatedly told him we weren't interested. However, he still knocked on my door at 10am next day asking to be my cabby.
The actual host didn't communicate properly. I struggled to get the front door key and second door key even though we were already inside the B&B room.
The (taxi driver) let us inside.
- Leaacha (10/5): Exceptional - Antonio - he was so friendly, helpful, and lovely! Really nice man!
- Mohima (8/5): This was a very good stay. It was close to the airport, large room, very clean and friendly staff. Antonio is a great gu - The property was close to the airport. It was large inside with a private bathroom. It was pleasantly decorated and very clean.
- Fe (1/5): Unsafe and far from the airport - Hard to find something good. The room was clean. Please Avoid this Place – Felt Unsafe and Misleading Information
Our experience at Airport Napoli was extremely disappointing. First and foremost, we felt unsafe the moment we arrived. The stay (airbnb type of stay) is located in a rough neighborhood with very poor lighting and absolutely no signage to indicate where it was. Even our taxi driver was confused and had no idea where to drop us off. Our booking ended up costing us an extra 20-25 euros each way (50 euros total extra), as it’s actually a 10-minute DRIVE from the airport, ~40m walk, not nearby as advertised.
Upon arrival, there was no staff at the front desk, which only added to the feeling of insecurity. The only way to communicate with the owner was through WhatsApp, and to make matters worse, there was no communication from them prior to our arrival, leaving us feeling completely unprepared.
To top it off, we were told the city tax had to be paid in cash, which was inconvenient and led to us having to withdraw money from an ATM at a high fee. This lack of transparency and basic professionalism left us frustrated and disappointed.
The only bright side of our stay was a kind senior neighbor named Antonio, who helped us settle in despite only speaking Italian (thank goodness for Google Translate!). He even offered to drive us to the airport for 20 euros, which was a relief given the chaotic situation.
I would strongly advise against booking this hotel if you’re looking for a safe, convenient, and well-managed place to stay.
Let me know if you’d like any further adjustments!
- Samantha (10/5): Surprisingly exceeded my expectations - I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We needed a room for the night as we had an early flight the next morning. The hosts were great at communicating via WhatsApp and were very patient while I figured out how to access the property (which key, door, keypad to use, etc.) At first, when I walked in, I had some doubts and wondered what I had booked, but I was relieved when we opened the door to a clean and comfortable room. We had pre-booked an airport shuttle for the early morning, and the driver even came up the night before to introduce himself, which was another big relief! Sending the check-in instructions via PDF on WhatsApp was a great idea – it saved the need to meet me at the property, which I really appreciated as I wasn't sure what time I could turn up! I would just suggest making the instructions a bit clearer to avoid people like me asking so many questions, haha.
- Andrew (5/5): Passable - Breakfast was basic but ok Access arrangements. Found it difficult to gain access to property. There is an assumption that everyone has a mobile phone . Language difficulties caused problems too. Room was ok but surroundings very run down.
- Jalaj (9/5): Superb -
- Brianna (7/5): Good -
- Kim (4/5): Disappointing - The name of this hotel is so misleading, i thought it was close to airport. was travelling alone with an early morning flight to catch, the shock was how far it was to the airport and there was no taxi. i had to plead with the host to help me call a taxi in the morning as i had no local number, the place looked sketchy and i barely slept worried about my safety nothing bad happened though. The stairs to the rooms were crazy i had to carry all the luggage over 40 stairs.
Over all a horrible experience and they certainly shouldnt have that misleading name.
- Victoria (10/5): Exceptional - The room is very clean, as well as bathroom and towels;the hosts were very nice.Mr Antonio is a welcoming person .
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carl (4/5): advertising does not fit property - breakfast was two croissants in plastic, nutella package and kurig coffee three flights of metal stairs outside to reach property; no internet; advertised airport shuttle but when we called for it we were told to taka a taxi and then a nice older man that resided in apartment building took us to airport in the morning but we had to pay for it.
- Bram (2/5): Horrible, anything else is better than this. - Immediately from the start there were issues contacting the host. Only option is self check in so if you can’t contact him, you can’t check in. Eventually we got to the room which is small but clean.
The ad says WiFi is included, I texted the owner 2 times about this and never got a reply, so no WiFi.
The showerhead was leaking quite a lot, definitely needs to be replaced. The breakfast is a total joke, a few prepackaged things from the supermarket, nothing fresh. (See picture)
At night suddenly a loud continuous banging started at around 11:30 PM. Together with the guest in the adjacent room we went to check it out since we couldn’t sleep. Turns out the father of the host was replacing a water pipe, the noise lasted until about 1AM!! (Tip to the guy, if you have a water leak you can just turn off the main water supply and fix the leak during daytime perhaps).
Also the bnb is located at the back of the airport which means you need to walk 40 minutes to get to the airport.
Coincidentally you can ask to be brought to the airport but that costs an extra €15 which I think is a lot for such a short ride.
All in all the host/owner made us feel like they don’t give a shit about their guests, they just want to trick people into staying here making us think it’s close to the airport.
DO NOT STAY HERE!! Absolutely nothing good to report.
- Luiggi (4/5): There are things to improve - I liked the kind attention that the host gave us. He was attentive at all times to clarify our doubts and help us make our stay in Naples pleasant. A very helpful person. I did not like the location of the house at all. It is a peculiar area. We felt a little unsafe. Also, the room could be much better. The paintings on the walls.

- Anna (6/5): Pleasant - It was clean and modern The description did not go with the actual property. And the name is confusing, the property was not a short walk from the airport.
- Mirosav (7/5): Good -
- Isabella (8/5): Very good -
- Tnono (8/5): Very good - The apartment was clean and kind for us just one night it was perfect. Our flight arrived late so thats why we needed an apartment neer by the airport. The area was terrible and dirty.
- Fatimah (1/5): Bad - Nothing We booked this hotel- but we had contacted them in advance that we would be late, but when we arrived at 10pm nobody was there and no one answered our calls, despite our repeated attempts, but no response. For safety reasons, we booked another hotel, but we have not received a response from that hotel to date.
- Ugnė (10/5): very good for the money - good location, near to the airport. Room is clean and with working AC
- Gabriela (7/5): Good -
- Andrea (1/5): :( - Nothing We were told that this accommodation is 300 metres from the airport which we found out was a lie when we were on our way there. We needed something close to the airport because we had an early flight. We had to find a different hotel closer to the airport at the last minute and that was very pricey. The owner then refused to give us our money back even though we didn't even make it to their accommodation and in the app it said that we had entitlement to a refund. No communication with them at all. If you can avoid this hotel.
- Stefano (8/5): Good place where to rest before flight - Just the area is not very good but the structure and people were good. Location
- Irene (9/5): Superb -
- Petra (7/5): Good -
- Maria (1/5): Bad - The “hotel” is horrible. It's not a hotel, it's an “Airbnb” project. Note that they don't upload photos of the “hotel” entrance. It's a horrible street, it's like a favela. We arrived and there was no power just in the room we stayed in. The room wasn't cleaned, the bathroom was disgusting and there was a rotten condom used inside the toilet, and when we called the person responsible to complain, she claimed that the room was cleaned and said that we were the ones who threw the used condom, and we were two women, friends, and we had just entered that rotten room. Another very negative point, NOBODY speaks English, so you can't communicate at any time at all. I don't recommend it, and I'll never come back.
- Szilágyi (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful room inside , very friendly host Antonio

- Onel (5/5): Passable -
- Emma (3/5): Poor - Clean room Location, very far from airport €20 taxi or 35 min walk. Not very nice neighborhood. A lot of stairs.
- Eesara (5/5): Stay at your own risk. - Close to the airport and Anthony who gave us a ride to the airport early in the morning. You can trust him. Good guy. First it wasn’t a hotel but they call themself hotel. It was an airbnb. During our stay, there was no WiFi and water from shower was coming out and wet the room. It felt nasty but we stayed there for a night so just sucked it up and left early in the morning.
- Reut (5/5): Not so close of the airport, you can chiose another area wirh same time of arriving to the airport and someone who answe - Decent conditions of apartment. Cannot contact the host, no response at messages or phone, no calling back, a woman from the yard opened us.
An insistent guy coming to the door in the night and trying to convince to get us to the airport for 15-20 euro.
- Luca (10/5): Exceptional - Antonio, the owner was very kind and helpful. He take us with his own car around Naples and to the airport for cheap. The room was very nice and clean.
- Kateřina (8/5): Very good - the room was clean air condition worked well big bath room im not sure if we could use kitchen but there was big and nice kitchen (we didnt ask bc we just went there for 1 night) its really far from napoli center
staff dont speak english so we have to use google 😀 he doesnt even said us code for outside door so we were stuck outside so i called him if he could open us he said yes and he didnt come 😀 happily some lady open us and showed us that code that man which cant speak english told us that he can drive is to airport for 20€ he was insistent he said that at night that area is unsafe firstly we went on walk and it was ok so we decided to cancel it and go 35min to airport at 3:30AM and it was okey no one was there also you go like 25minutes around airport area and that is under cameras so its okey im glad what we save 20€
also someone at 0:00Am started firework under our windows so we woke up so scared that someon shooting or smth after couple minutes we relized that its firework
- Rob (6/5): Nice but very tiring! - Property has a couple of issues. The toilet seat was loose and not fixed properly. The fridge was unstocked. Apart from that it was very good. The other guests next to us arrived at eleven shouting and generally making a noise! We lost sleep throughout the night and they did not respond to requests to be kind and quiet.
- Thomas (10/5): Luigi was perfect, he welcomed us when we checked in at 11pm. He even ordered us a pizza and took us back to the airport - Great value for money and only 10 mins in taxi from airport. Very clean, big bathroom and shared kitchen facilities Nothing but there was a lot of stairs.
