- Mohamed (2/5): - I recently stayed at Mercure Dubai Deira, and unfortunately, it was the worst hotel experience I have had in the UAE. While a few staff members were professional, overall service, hygiene, and facilities were far below acceptable standards for an Accor property. Key Issues: • Check-in Experience: Upon arrival, I was unexpectedly asked to pay a deposit, which I found unnecessary and insulting. Instead, I offered it as a goodwill gesture to the receptionist. • Laundry Service Misrepresentation: I specifically asked if laundry was in-house and was assured it was, only to later find out that it wasn’t. This misleading information caused significant inconvenience. • Hygiene & Pest Control: I was bitten by insects within an hour of unpacking. Despite informing reception, I found more small insects, including a spider, the next day. • Service Quality: While some staff were helpful, most seemed untrained and unqualified, lacking professionalism and attentiveness. • Food & Beverage: The food was disappointing, lacking freshness and flavour. • Laundry Service: Beyond the misrepresentation, my laundry was smelly, creased, and missing part of my clothes. • Noise Insulation: Extremely poor, making sleep difficult due to disturbances. • Safety & Comfort: I experienced unsettling noises at night and even the smell of smoke, making my stay uncomfortable and unsafe. For a Mercure-branded hotel under Accor, I expected much better. Room 502

- Jhett (8/5): - The most unique about this hotel is in individual water purifying system in each room. Very environment-freely, no need to go our your room for refill. Very friendly staff! I wish the rooms are sound-proofed though. I was on the fifth floor and I can still here the noise outside. The restaurants in the hotel are also very pricey. No wonder no one was there when I had dinner on a Friday night.

The area is really clean and very aesthetically pleasing. The hotel is 10/10 in all aspects. The staff are really kind and helpful . We didnt want to leave. We will be back. I recommend this place to anyone travelling to dubai . The pool is also really beautiful.

However one thing I noticed is you have to ask for coffee and creamer to be brought to the room since they don’t have it…and this can be to encourage to drink coffee at the coffee shop. - Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing! 10/10 - My stay at Mercure hotel in Deira was amazing. The service was very friendly and professional. The hotel was very clean and elegant. The location was so convenient with the metro station being literally across the road. The staff made me feel very valued and provided excellent customer service throughout my whole stay. I loved the infinity pool at the rooftop and the bar where I enjoyed fresh juices! I did wish the pool would stay open for abit later than 8pm. The hotels atmosphere was very refreshing and soothing. There is a lovely distinctive scent that would welcome me everytime I would return to the hotel. The room itself was very spacious and warm. I really appreciated the complimentary water from the filter machine in the room. The shower could have been designed better as the water spills onto the floor outside the shower. It's not a big deal but I will opt for the room with the bath tub next time. Room air conditioning works very well and the bed was very comfortable. Overall I had a 10/10 wonderful experience at mercure hotel in deira and I will most definitely be returning to stay at mercure hotel when I return to Dubai. They were extremely nice and amazing. One thing I have comment on is, Entertainment wasn’t that good, roof closes at 11pm which is too early, so if u are bored at night u really have nothing to do. Rather than this it’s highly recommended.

- ALVIN (10/5): Mercure - Marvellous - It was a nice, clean, modern hotel furnished in neutral colours with nice modern, functional furniture. The room was a nice size. They also let me check in much earlier than normal, which I really appreciated. I didn’t want to wait for a room with a view as that didn’t bother me much for a one night stay. The hotel was across the road from the metro station (green line) which I found to be very convenient for getting around Dubai. Deira City Centre is a short train ride away, which is full of great shops. I would definitely recommend staying there and wouldn’t hesitate to book it again for my next quick trip to Dubai.

- David (10/5): Excellent hotel - Very nice hotel located near gold souk station on the green line MRT. Only problem with the MRT is it is very slow and it is way over capacity so much so it is uncomfortable so you will want to take a taxi, uber or careem everywhere anyway just a note. The hotel has a small gym and a nice rooftop. The rooms are super clean and large. Cleaning and front desk were great. Overall an excellent hotel but the MRT really sucks so badly so location isn't as good as it seems.
