• Gražina (9/5): - I liked that the windows could be fully darkened, which was a big plus for me. The apartment is spacious, except for the toilet. When it's cold, you can warm up the rooms very quickly using the air conditioning. The elevator is old but functional (sometimes you have to press the button a few times to get it moving). The location is excellent.

Fabulous location close to bottom entrance to Acropolis Having air-con was a bonus although it was set that it could not go below a certain temperature and was not cool enough. Bathroom was adequate but very small- door opened onto toilet.

Fußmatte im bad wäre schön gewesen. Wasserkocher sehr, sehr verkalkt, kostet nicht viel sollte mal ausgewechselt werden.
• Elsje (9/5): - The apartment is centrally located close to the entrance to the Acropolis. The host, Nicos, was excellent and communicated very well with us. All the bathroom necessities and much more were provided. Will come back to Frinichou 18 if I visit Athens again.
• Crusey (9/5): An excellent short stay right in the heart of Athens. - Location is excellent! Apartment has a great layout for a short stay. Bathroom was well appointed with toiletry items. Despite being right in the center of Athens, the apartment was quiet in the evenings and it was easy to get a good night's sleep. Bathroom is well appointed, but the door bangs into the toilet and doesn't fully open. This makes entering an exiting the bathroom a bit cumbersome. There is only a small fridge in the kitchen. For more than one person, or a longer stay, this could be limiting.

• Bengisu (8/5): You can prefer the Athens Concept Residence for perfect location and cost-effective stay. - Location of the residence is perfect; it has 5 min. walking distance to Acropolice and the Museum Acropoli. Also it’s in the heart of Plaka where you can find nice Cafes& Cocktail bars. And it’s easy to reach from the AirPort or Port of Piraeus. The residence is clean and simple, in addition has an iron&ironing board as a nice point. Special thanks to Nikos for detailed instructions, which made our check-in/out easier. Nothing.

L’host Nikos è stato incredibilmente cordiale e disponibile dandoci tutte le informazioni necessarie per il check in e permettendo un late check out per venire incontro alle nostre esigenze. The shade was nice from the direct sun though. Walking distance to the acropolis The small bathroom meant the door was hitting the toilet when you open the door.

• Marijke (10/5): - Dit appartement ligt echt op een top locatie. Om de hoek is de metro van acropolis en ook de acropolis zelf is heel erg dichtbij. Als de hoek om en je staat in een winkelstraat in Plaka. Het appartement zelf is wellicht wat klein maar je komt naar Athene voor de stad en niet om binnen te zitten. En je kan nog even heerlijk buiten zitten en door de grote boom in volstrekte privacy. Dit appartement zou ik zo weer boeken als ik in Athene ben.
• Gustavo (10/5): An unbeatable location with all the essentials - just a few small touches away from perfection - Fantastic location — just steps from the Acropolis side entrance and the charming streets, shops, and restaurants of Plaka. I can’t emphasize this enough: in the heat of the Athens summer, being able to return to the comfort of a well air-conditioned apartment between ancient site visits and long walks made all the difference. The apartment was also well equipped, and the host was easy to communicate with, providing clear and helpful check-in instructions. No deal breakers, but a few small additions could make the stay even better. A towel rail, hooks, or a clothing rack would be helpful for drying towels. A dishwasher would also be a great convenience for longer stays.

Quiet street close to all the action - steps away from Acropolis museum, Acropolis southern entrance, vibrant Plaka neighbourhood, Syntagma square. Host was very responsive and kind enough to let us leave our bags for a bit after our checkout time. Apartment is on 4th floor with a small elevator that sometimes wouldn't work. Something to be mindful of if someone has mobility/accessibilty considerations (wheelchairs, strollers). Many European apartments have this constraint as well, so it's not unique to this location. It wasn't an issue for us

The property was stunning – beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and offered breathtaking views of the surrounding area. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making us feel immediately at home and completely relaxed. Our host went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. They were incredibly welcoming, provided great local recommendations, and were always available if we needed anything. It’s rare to come across such genuine hospitality. The location was ideal – peaceful and scenic, yet close enough to explore nearby attractions, restaurants, and beaches. Waking up each morning to the sound of the sea and sipping coffee on the terrace was pure bliss. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and will absolutely return on our next trip to Greece. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable getaway!

• Esti (8/5): Perfect location - The location was perfect, with easy walking access to all major sites. Nikos, the host, was very welcoming and answered questions promptly. There is a place to store luggage 5 minutes away. It is also very close to the Metro. The bathroom is tiny. There is nowhere to hang towels or a cupboard to put clothes in. The electric sockets are in strange places so most can't be used. There should be more towels for a longer stay, and a bigger rubbish bin in the kitchen. Also, there should be a lamp for reading on both sides of the bed and generally better lighting in the bedroom.
• Dalia (9/5): The best location, easy to find and get in - The best location for sure - only about 200 meters from the entrance to Acropolis, but not noisy at night. The house has an interesting atmosphere, you really feel in the centre of Athens here. Easy to get inside and there is an elevator to the 4th floor. There was everything what you need for short stay.
• Stephen (9/5): Great Apartment in Plaka - Good communications from the owner for arrival and accessing the keys. Nice spacious apartment on the 4th floor with a lovely small balcony. More like a hotel suite size room! Good security to the building and room via a small lift or stairs. Includes a safe, coffee machine, kettle, and small fridge - and air con which we didn't need. There is a decent shower in a small bathroom. The building is itself very quiet - but the road nearby can be very noisy with cars and motorbikes, especially during the night - but this was not a massive problem for us but might be for extra-light sleepers. The location is excellent for the Plaka district, all the historical sites, museums, and there are plenty of shops and restauraunts nearby.

The location is perfect, just a 1 minute walk from the entrance to the acropolis and right next to the picturesque streets of Plaka. The apartment has a big and comfortable bed and a simple but well equipped kitchen. Nikos was very kind and responsive during our whole stay - I highly recommend his place!

A comfortable bed, everything clean. Well-equipped kitchen; if I may have one small suggestion: add a wooden cutting board! :)
• Thede (10/5): Perfect central location in the best part of Athens - This hotel has an excellent location, right in the center and close to all major tourist attractions, the metro, and museums. The breakfast options are great, offering pites, koulouria etc. Everything is clean, from the hallways to the stairs, and the rooms are spacious and cozy. A nice touch is the complimentary water and juice in the fridge. Nice balcony, but the weather did not allow to use it. The shower is a bit small.

• Laura (7/5): Minimalist apartment in a fantastic location within Plaka...in the heart of it all. - Location was good. Bed was comfortable. Felt very safe. Towels were quite nice. It was above an area people sit and smoke, but what's new, its Greece and everyone seems to smoke. Although the bathroom was pretty, it was super cramped and the door kept slamming into the toilet. There were no kitchen towels, no way to really have ice, tiny hotel fridge. All these things were nearly adequate, just not lovely or special so the rating provided in Booking of 9+ seemed very odd to us. There was a balcony but it was impossibly small and right next to one chair (crowding the chair actually) was the aircon condenser unit. I think that if we had paid less for the room we would have been extremely satisfied.

Very cosy and comfortable studio, we liked our visit a lot. Special thanks to the house owner for his hospitality, detailed instructions for entering and leaving the house conveniently.

Amazing location - walking distance to many restaurants, bars and attractions. Room was clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. Bed was comfy too! We had two large suitcases and two small suitcases after travelling from Australia. The lift was quite small, requiring us to do 2 trips as the apartment is on the third or fourth floor.

• Claire (10/5): Perfect for our 1 night in Plaka neighborhood - Location location! Steps to acropolis metro & Plaka tourist area. Elevator & felt very safe. Great couch & smart TV. Liked having the separate bedroom & balcony for that price! Only stayed 1 night so didn’t use shower but it was large & modern by Greek standards. Happy to get a few coffee pods for the morning & nikos was very responsive & friendly, helping with a luggage storage suggestion 400m away for the next day. Bathroom door is tight against the toilet so if you are on the larger size it might be an issue. Kitchen is handy for a few nights but with a mini fridge & 2 -burner plate it would encourage you to eat out nearby in the heart of Athens restaurant scene.

Nikos and his wife were very kind and lovely, and offered to help with everything 🙏🏼🥰 One thing wasn’t perfect - I’m assuming that the boiler for heating the water is a bit small, so the hot water ends very fast, after a 4 or 5 minutes of shower… But it was okay 🙏🏼
