• Sébastien (10/5): Séjour Parfait - Très bel appartement calme, agréable et fonctionnel. On s’y sent comme chez nous, l’emplacement est idéal, à quelques pas du Lago Argentino. Nous recommandons aussi le restaurant LA CANTINA. L’appartement est propre, les lits confortables, la salle de bain fonctionnelle et propre. La cuisine est également fonctionnelle, propre et tout les ustensiles utiles y sont bien rangés. Les normes de sécurités y sont présentes dans chaques pièces. Le chek in est facile à l’aide d’une clef placé dans une boîte à clef avec un code confidentiel divulguer avant l’arrivée. Le propriétaire est très réactif sur WhatsApp, également pour nous donner le contact d’un taxi. Merci à vous et nous recommandons les yeux fermer Rien du tout, tout était parfait

Ofrecen vajilla completa, había sal, té, aceite y café molido para poder prepararte que para nosotros fue súper ya que fuimos una familia de 4 y utilizamos mucho el espacio de cocina. Todos los días entran a limpiar y hacer las camas. Ofrecen espacio de guardado de equipaje para el tiempo de espera entre que dejas el alojamiento y vas al aeropuerto. También nos ofrecieron traslado hacia y desde el aeropuerto. Es muy tranquilo y Maria responde rápido y siempre muy concreta. La ubicación es buena, estás a solo 1 cuadra del lago y de la reserva Nimez. Del centro estás a 10 minutos caminando. Es realmente muy cómodo! Nada que objetar.

• Eline (10/5): Fantastisch! - Prachtig verblijf! Het zag er echt ontzettend goed uit en het had een heerlijk bed. Om de hoek zat ook een heerlijk eettentje. Alles was heel goed georganiseerd met zelf check-in, goed contact met de host en elke dag werd er schoongemaakt. Fantastisch! Helaas iets verder lopen vanaf het centrum, maar nog steeds te doen!

• Elena (9/5): Lovely apartment in El Calafate - Lovely quiet clean place, tastefully decorated, easy check-in, great communication with the host through whatsapp. Great location in El Calafate - a bit away from the busy central streets, but could walk everywhere, several nice bars and restaurants are within 5 minutes walk. We also asked the host for a taxi arrangement for our trip to the airport, received super punctual great service for a very reasonable price. Thank you team for the great stay, we hope to be back!

• SPINOCHE (10/5): Cozy and quiet property - The rooms are nice, cozy, clean, quiet. Is a nice place to sleep and relax. Thank you for your hospitality! The access to the rooms is a little bit difficult if you have trollers or big luggage, because either you have to take stairs, either you have to walk on a gravel way, but we had superman with us, so, everything was fine 😃

• jennifer (9/5): Acogedora, buen gusto y relax - Muy acogedora. Buen diseño, práctica y súper amable al anfitrión. Linda vajilla y uno detalles divinos : yerba, café y azúcar disponibles a gusto. Buena ducha para después de una excursión, el frío y el viento. Para mi gusto estaba un poco lejos del centro, a una 10 cuadras. Pero a mi marido me dijo que soy una exagerada :) Nos tocó el depto en PB, los pasos de vecinos de arriba pueden molestar un poco.

• Loes (7/5): Kamer 4 is top, kamer 2 is veel minder prettig. - Eerder verbleven we boven in kamer 4. Dat was een fijn verblijf. Het bed was prettig, de voorzieningen waren goed. Later verbleven we nog een nacht in kamer 2, beneden. Het bed was erg klein, we konden nauwelijks slapen hierdoor (mijn partner is halverwege de nacht op de grond gaan liggen) en door de geluiden. De kamer is zeer gehorig.

• Steve (10/5): Fantastic Lodge - This place was clean, safe, comfortable and the owner, Sophia, was friendly, professional, and very responsive to any needs. It very close to town, only a 10 minutes walk. It's also close to lake Argentino, about 5 minutes. My wife and I, had a wonderful stay here.

• Emma (9/5): Beautiful and cosy stay - Beautiful, modern and comfortable space. Great facilities like shampoo, conditioner,.soap, hairdryer and straightener which was a nice touch. Good kitchen with crockery and cutlery too. Loved it! Condensation on the bedroom window made the walls gather a little mildew in the enclave that was for clothes and bags. Keep in mind that it's a 1km walk from the town centre so just be mindful at night. It's safe to walk but there are many dogs roaming free and barking a lot which is a problem across the town everywhere but worse at night when it's dark and quiet.

No queda en el mismo centro pero por $2.00 o $3.00 dolares un remis te deja allá. La única observación es que haría falta un microonda pero por lo demás excelente.

• Scheherazade (10/5): You should absolutely stay here - It’s winter. It’s cold. We had the easiest self check-in and opened the door to a thoughtfully pre-warmed place. Cannot recommend this spot highly enough. Immaculately clean, self-check-in/out, washing machine, well stocked kitchen (including a French press and coffee!), warm, very comfortable bed and bedding, hot water + great water pressure in the shower. I think we maybe met the owner and she was so incredibly sweet. Beautiful human. The woman on-site any days folks checked out to clean was also an absolute gem. We had 40 minutes until our shuttle came after checkout time and it was freezing out that morning. She graciously let us stay in our warm apartment until the shuttle came! Any questions you might have are quickly attended to over What’s App and they send you a very helpful PDF about everything you might need around town or to get to glaciers or El Chaltén. We stayed a week and were very sad to leave this cozy spot. About a 10 min. walk over a footbridge to el centro which is our ideal. Just a wonderful stay and apartment!
• Andres (9/5): Superb - It was an easy process for the self check in and check out. Communication was well in advance and the instructions were clear. The place was very comfortable and spacious. It's also close to the main road (by car) of the town. The heater is in the living, which means getting the temperature to the room is quite hard even when blasting the maximum, but it wasn't an unbearable cold. We all had cosy sleep nights anyway.

• Christiane (5/5): Wonderful, lovely host. Communication was very easy. Apartment overall is ok but not great. - The host is lovely and super responsive. Communication was very easy. We needed extra bath towels and some hangers, 10 min later she dropped them off. The apartment has a small kitchen which is in the living room. The heater in the living room is amazing. The room is heated in no time and it is pretty easy to control the temperature. There is a separate bathroom (not heated) and a separate bedroom (also not heated) with a double bed (kind of small for people who are used to American king size beds ;-) ) but there are 2 (stacked) single matresses in the living room, which I guess are meant to also serve as 'kind of a sofa' when not used as beds. The living room also has a dining table with chairs and a bench, enough seating for 4 people. The location is ok, it is about a 10-15 min walk to the main street of El Calafate. The closest grocery store is on the pricy side and has very limited variety. We always walked to the La Anonima grocery store on the main street, Av. del Libertador 902. Since there are 2 beds in the living room, there is no real sofa and no coffee table. So you can't really hang out for a cosy TV night because sitting on a matress it is just not very comfy. And the bedroom doesn't have a TV. There is no closet in the apartment and space to hang clothes is spare. We emptied out a small dresser in the bedroom so my husband could put his clothes in there. I left my cloths in the suitcase which is not ideal when you stay 4 nights. The kitchen could be better equipped. There is no coffee maker (just a french press) no toaster, no microwave. No washing machine! One day while we were out and about somebody must have entered the apartment and took out one of the matresses. Which was ok because we didn't need it but they did not give us any notice which we didn't appreciate. The next day they entered and took out one of the chairs, also without notice. I understand that they probably needed the matress and the chair for another apartment but a little heads up before or after would have been nice.

• Sophie (10/5): Exceptional - Easy self check in, decent sized apartment in a quiet street away from the main town (which we liked). Perfect base to explore El Calafate. The kitchen room seemed a bit bare but it had everything you needed (except for a tin opener!)

The additional mate, coffee, and candy were appreciated The bed comforter should be placed inside a cover instead of two fitted sheets. I think it triggered some allergies for me. The host should offer payment options through booking.com at checkout. Reduces the hassle for the customer
• Sarag (9/5): Cozy stay in a modern little apartment for 2 - Cute and comfortable small apartment with enough amenities to make breakfast for ourselves. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and modern. We had big windows looking out to a yard full of trees. It was very cozy. A delicious microbrewery and the lake were a very short walk away, along with a great coffee shop. The host was very helpful to answer any questions and give us advice on the local area. It was good that we had a car as it's a bit far from the center of town, but the town is sprawling and the hiking was quite a ways from El Calafate, so a car was necessary for us anyway. The drive to the main restaurant/shopping area was less than 10 minutes and parking was very easy, so that wasn't a problem at all. And the neighborhood for the apartment is very quiet and safe.

Place was spotlessly clean and heating worked well. This is an older style building but has been updated very nicely with tasteful soft furnishing touches. Excellent value

Beds were uncomfortable, water is not always hot, there was not microwave, the operator entered the property without letting us first, towels were clean but wet, plumbing exposed in shower, countless issues.
