The property is beautiful, with a very nice design. The breakfast was amazing, with a great variety of food. The best espresso I’ve had in a month of traveling across Latin America!

Cecilia is a super host, very helpful in arranging things. Very good breakfast, the self made yoghurt is best in Argentina. The rooms are newly furnished with style. We had a larger room with sitting area and balcony. The hints for bodega visits (Alpamanta and Finca Minimal) were great. Almost nothing. If you are arriving late or departing early, you have to check in or out on your own, but you will get detailed instructions. No breakfast before 8 am.

Bij uitstek beste verblijf in Mendoza en omgeving!!! Absoluut niets!
• Stefan (10/5): Rundum empfehlenswerte Unterkunft mit tollen Gastgebern - Die Lage ist sehr gut, die geschäftige Aristides-Straße und die Innenstadt sind sehr schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, sehr gute Qualität der Lebensmittel, wunderschön dekoriert. Alles war sehr reichlich und geschmackvoll. die Gastgeberin Ceci ließ keinen unserer Wünsche unerfüllt. Der sichtgeschützte Garten ist wunderbar ruhig und hat einen zwar kleinen, doch sehr einladenden Swimmingpool. In unserem schönen Zimmer konnten wir dank Klimaanlage auch in den warmen Nächten gut schlafen.. Ganz besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Hilfe unserer Gastgeber, nachdem wir bei einem Fahrradausflug im Weingebiet südlich von Mendoza überfallen und ausgeraubt worden waren. Wir haben große Unterstützung beim Umbuchen unserer Flüge erfahren und Leo hat uns dann auch noch zum Flughafen gefahren. Auch wenn unser Aufenthalt in Mendoza zwar unschön endete, wofür unsere Gastgeber nichts konnten, bleibt uns diese Unterkunft in sehr guter Erinnerung. Wir hatten anfangs ein Problem mit der Dusche (zu geringer Wasserdruck), doch Leo hat dies behoben, so funktionierte dann alles zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit.

• Alice (4/5): Terrible customer service, rooms not as described, THIN walls, and HARD beds. - The property is nicely decorated and located on a quiet street, walking distance to some shops and restaurants. Everything on the property (rooms, public space, pool) was clean and tidy. The breakfast in the morning offered some nice options. I'm going to start here with "what didn't you like" because they're not giving me enough room in that section. We arrived with another couple and were greeted by a nice man, Leandro, who announced my name and led me and my partner upstairs to what we later were told was "the wrong room" (#4). Cecilia had texted me earlier saying that our room was #9, but Leandro specifically announced my name and showed us to room #4. I wasn't even looking at the room number, because I had just hauled bags up a narrow flight of stairs when we were immediately escorted into the room at the top of the stairs, and Leandro handed my partner the numbered room key, who hadn't been on the text chain. Without having any reason to question our placement -- which was just as described on my reservation, a balcony room -- we went ahead and unpacked and then joined our friends downstairs, who were very upset about their room (#9) having almost no natural light (a very, very narrow window with a street view) and being very, very small. We discovered that Leandro had accidentally mixed up our names and switched our rooms, but there are several issues with this and with what happened next. (CONTINUED IN NEXT SECTION.) CONT: 1. The room we were given (#4) was exactly as described on my reservation, a balcony room. The room our friends were given, #9, was NOT as described on EITHER of our reservations. Both bookings described a balcony room. So, first of all, BOTH couples should have received a balcony room. This did not happen. 2. My reservation was for $500/week, and our friends' reservation was for $600/week. Apparently on this basis alone, Cecilia had determined that we were supposed to have the Dungeon Room (#9) with almost no natural light and no balcony, even though both reservations specified a balcony room. 3. After the mix-up was discovered, Cecilia AGGRESSIVELY demanded we switch rooms. Our friends refused to make us do that, explaining to her that it was not our fault that Leandro had given us the "wrong" room (although, based on the booking confirmation, room #9 truly was the "wrong" room -- BOTH couples should have received a balcony room). Cecilia's texts to both myself and the other couple were incredibly rude and hostile, and she approached us in person at breakfast the next morning and resumed demanding we move rooms. She did not stop until my (male) partner got involved and told her to stop. ABOUT THAT BALCONY: Room #4's balcony had direct access from the backyard. The balcony door did not lock; anyone could have walked up the stairs from the yard and entered our room at any time. The balcony also was shared with two other rooms, so we didn't feel comfortable using it. WALLS were so incredibly thin that I could hear the person in the room next to us (#3) SNEEZE DURING A SHOWER. The noise of the next-door shower alone was so loud that I woke up confused, thinking my partner had gotten up early. Noise from the hall also was quite loud, and the main stairs were right next to our room, which didn't help since it made it a high-traffic area. BEDS were incredibly hard; I woke up sore every day.

Ceci spreekt ook goed Engels Mooi comfortabel vakantiehuis met mooie tuin en zwembad en heerlijk ontbijt en altijd verse koffie uit machine. Schone ruime slaapkamer met airconditioning. Veel horeca in de buurt. Toegangsdeur met code goed beveiligd en parkeren voor het huis in de straat. Indien de mogelijkheid zich voordoet, gaan we hier zeker weer heen Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding een 10!!!!! niets

So glad we did, even though this time it was very short we’d definitely go back. Celia was delightful and super helpful - the room was lovely, breakfast was delicious and it’s very well located. Nos encontrou no checkin e nos deixou à vontade com códigos próprios para acessar a casa livremente. O quarto tinha tudo que precisávamos: uma cama confortável, um banheiro limpinho com chuveiro gostoso, um frigobar, copos e abridor de garrafa. O café da manhã é muito gostoso, com opções de pães assados pela manhã e um iogurte natural que a própria Ceci faz (uma delícia). A localização também é ótima, bem perto da avenida onde há bares e restaurantes. Gostamos de tudo! Não temos nada a pontuar negativamente sobre nossa estadia. Talvez valha mencionar que ficamos no terceiro andar, com algumas escadas (o que não foi problema nenhum).
• Merrilyn (10/5): This place is heaven and Ceci is a superwoman.  - Ceci (and Leo) are the best hosts that you could ever possibly imagine. Ceci waited for me at the airport to pick me up, took care of my laundry for me because I was out on a tour, makes the best food I’ve ever had in my life for breakfast and is the kindest, most interesting, sweetest, and most helpful human being I’ve ever met in my life. There are a lot of superlatives here but they are all justified and they don’t even begin to describe what an amazing woman and host Cecilia is. I never want to leave because she makes everything so wonderful and comfortable and I feel like I’m at home. Oh, and the property itself is just absolutely beautiful and so well taken care of and designed with so much love by Ceci and Leo. At night when, I came home from a tour, Ceci and Leo would offer me more food and wine and, of course their wonderful conversation. I have never experienced this level of warmth and hospitality any place I’ve ever stayed and I want them to win an award for the best hosts of all accommodations in all of the world! Truly – Ceci and Leo -thank you for transforming my life into something so much richer after meeting y’all!♥️♥️♥️ Nothing. Truly, everything was perfect.

A acomodação é muito linda, tudo de bom gosto. O café da manhã é muito muito bom, atendeu as expectativas! A localização também é muito boa e fica bem perto da Rua Aristides, que é bem movimentada, cheia de bares e restaurantes. O quarto é bem equipado, com secador de cabelo, chavelira de água, frigobar, cabide, shampoo, condicionador e sabonete líquido. A cama é confortável com bons lençóis. O banheiro é amplo e cômodo. Fiz a reserva para dois quartos, que seriam os dois "Quarto Deluxe com Cama Queen-size", pois fui com mais um casal de amigos. O quarto deles era bem espaçoso, mas eu fiquei com um quarto bem apertado, que não tinha espaço para as malas, tendo que ficar no chão, no meio da passagem. Então aconselho a, se reservarem esta hospedagem (que realmente indico), peçam um quarto com espaço suficiente para colocar as malas. O meu quarto também não tinha vista para a psicina. Reafirmo que o quarto era bom, mas muito apertado. E só levamos uma mala grande e uma pequena. Outro ponto negativo foi o pagamento. O total dos dois quartos tinha dado 720 dólares (aqui no booking), o que, na conversão do dia para reais, daria em torno de 4.050 mil reais. Na conversão deles, que pagamos por pix, o total ficou 4.400 reais. Então indico trocar o dolar no Brasil e pagar em dinheiro. Não tivemos o desconto de 20% que se fala na Argentina para pagamentos com transação bancária. E lá também não aceita pagamento em cartão de crédito ou débito.

• Courtney (10/5): - I goofed and didn't understand the check-in process, even though the hotel's owner made every attempt to contact me ahead of time. Sadly, I didn't recognize the WhatsApp number, so I kept ignoring the messages, fearing they were spam. Luckily, it all worked out and we had a good laugh when I finally realized it had been her behind the mysterious WhatsApp messages, not a potential spammer! "This is a house, not a hotel," she explained right away. She had partially grown up in the home and had since turned it into a B&B. I've never stayed in one before, and I don't think I ever will again. I'm sure it would be a disappointment. Hotel Oeste raised the benchmark extraordinarily high. From the warm reception to the gorgeous and comfortable accommodations, I quickly understood why this property had been so highly rated and reviewed. I will never forget the generous hospitality. She went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and their stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast every morning in the dining/sitting room with the peaceful music playing was always an amazing way to start the day. The spread wasn't fancy, but it was filling and so lovely and thoughtfully laid out. If we ever visit Mendoza again, we'd stay here in an instant if there were room!

Ceci went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional! She gave us great recommendations for restaurants and helped set up a wine tour when I thought they were sold out. Breakfast was delicious and everyone at Oeste Suites treated us really well!

Contudo, como não tenha um aparelho não sei se é normal ou não. E as trocas das toalhas molhadas poderiam acontecer com uma frequência um pouco maior. Tirando essas duas pequenas observações o OESTE Suítes foi muito, mas muito agradável. A dona Cecília é extremamente gentil e atenciosa. Recomendo a permanência.

• THERESA (10/5): SO CHARMING! - This is a small boutique hotel. It is very well located to dining and easy walking to various attractions. The owner, Ceci and her husband, were absolutely amazing! We have never had such personal attention. So sweet. This is a great gem. If you like commercialized big chain hotels, this is not for you. But if you like small and personal attention in charming accommodations, this is for you! Planning a family trip next year, hoping to be able to rent the entire hotel.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was responsive and friendly. It is about 1 block from a tree covered street with many restaurants and bars. The wine regions of Mendoza are easily accessible by taxi or tour.
