- Ana (10/5): Perfect stay in Zermatt - I booked this hotel last minute not knowing that it’s the sister property for the Mirabeau Resort & Spa for which I already had a reservation :) Wish I could have linked up the two. Wonderful staff, great hospitality and beautiful place. The building where the rooms are located are behind the main hotel building so it’s quieter and more private. My dog got spoilt during our stay :) Tip: you can enter the building through the side walk using the elevator which is at the street level N/A

First of all: it's the people. the gentleman on the desk was really kind and covered everything well at check in, which was nice as I was arriving late and he brought me to the room = never had that done before. this actually seemed what I would have thought of as Swiss experience.. the precooked - Scrambled eggs were nicely done - a rarity in my experience. And included in the price. Exceptional cooked breakfast options - - - I think 6-8 different tureens! But maybe they should use plastic tongs as they get hot on top of I think were induction plates? Breakfast was included too. The Downsides: The room was small, but you get what you pay for and it was really all I wanted. I think every hotel room need a table and a chair - which my smallish room did not have. I think in most places an option on Low fat milk would be nice. Cereal was in an odd place at breakfast. Pet peeve, the Orangejuice tasted like "concentrated Orange Juice: whereas I think most people would expect "not from concentrate". One issue was vertical blinds in the room - - - this is a no-no. A Basic function of any hotel window should be a blackout capacity. Everything, aside from 1 issue, was scrupulously clean. Notwithstanding it was Zermatt, the pricing was I thought very good for what I got, Overall a really really good experience. I'd love to go back sometime. Really close to the train . Pool was really wonderful!

Hotel is an easy walk to train station, which is great because Zermatt does not allow cars in the city…so everyone comes in on the train. Also breakfast is included so that is very convenient.

We were upgraded to large suite with a balcony and views to the Matterhorn. The pillows were not comfortable. The bed was but the pillows could be better.

The swimming pool was made entirely of stainless steel, so it was super clean.

- Parivash (8/5): Very good - The Mirabeau Alpine offers a lot, specious rooms with modern design and interior. The facilities are just perfect for after skiing or if you prefer to stay the whole day at the hotel and enjoy the Spa. The only thing bothered me was the peculiar smell from the bathroom sink, which spread whenever the ventilation was on. And the ventilation went on whenever the bathroom light was on. It was very disagreeable.
