I wouldn't wish this service on my worst enemy.

Emma (8/5): - The hotel was very nice and I was content for the most part with my stay. My only complaints were the limited hours in which the shuttle service was offered. Even just one or two more trips being added would have made it so much more convenient. I did appreciate this service and thought it was a great addition due to the hotel location. My other complaint was that after accidentally dropping an earring down the sink, I went to go ask the front desk if there was someone that could come help open it up to get it out. Both people there simply replied “no” with no additional follow up. I asked if there was anyone that could help get it out, and they said no maintenance would be back until the following day but that they would follow up. They wrote down my room number. I heard nothing else about the issue, and the earring (which had previously been in eyesight) was long gone by the time I awoke the next morning. It wasn’t a big deal, but had it been valuable jewelry this would be absolutely unacceptable. I would have appreciated at least some sort of follow up after being promised that they would handle the issue. Other than these two issues, everything else was handled extremely well. If these two concerns were to eh addressed, I would have given this hotel 5 stars. It was a bit of a hefty walk into town, but being an active person I didn’t mind it. If you are not used to walking long distances (about 4km one way) you will have to utilize taxi services.

Katharine (10/5): Wish I could have stayed longer!! - Holy cow! I'm so glad we stayed here. I only wish we had more time here. The setting was stunningly beautiful--both the views from the room and restaurant. The whole place was spotless, and I love that the guest room didn't have carpet. The food was excellent, and so was the service. I chose this because it was close to the airport, but if I'm ever in town again I'll stay here the whole time, even though it's a bit outside of town.

carola61 (10/5): Loved it! - My husband and I stayed 4 nights with you about three weeks ago and enjoyed every minute. A stunning location on the Beagle Channel, excellent dining with a view to match, clean and comfortable rooms, and congenial staff. Our waitress, Celia I believe, was very sweet.

Miguel (8/5): - El hotel está muy limpio, y el servicio es bueno. Cené en el restaurante y pedí una milanesa de pollo y está estaba cruda. La regresé y no me la cobraron. Tienen trasporte gratuito al centro que son como 20 min, sin embargo cerca no hay nada de tiendas o restaurantes. Y solo tienen 3 horarios en el día de transfer tanto de ida como de regreso y eso limita la movilidad y te ves obligado a usar taxi. Los taxis te cobran como te ven… y importante si bien en la zona hace mucho frío. Pero en las habitaciones la calefacción está muy alto. Quizá cuando llegas está bn después de venir del frío. Pero después de un rato es sofocante el calor.

Nada que o Uber não resolva . Além disso , o hotel disponibiliza transfer , apesar de sê-lo em poucos horários . Nesse quesito , vale 9; estrutura, no penúltimo dia , houve corte de energia generalizado na cidade . O hotel não possui gerador de energia autônomo. Ficamos sem luz por mais de doze horas ininterruptas. Sem condições de carregar celular , ficamos no escuro literalmente . O hotel foi incapaz de oferecer lanterna ou luz de emergência. Absurdo . Questionado, o atendente na recepção se limitou a disponibilizar livro de reclamação. E olha que a queda de luz é recorrente na cidade . O chuveiro é muito precário e insatisfatório. Deveriam rever ! A limpeza do hotel é regular , satisfatória. No quesito da estrutura o hotel merece 5. Gastronomia , café da manhã não atendeu as expectativas . No dia em que chegamos , almoçamos no hotel . Foi terrível . Nesse quesito , o hotel merece 3 . Por último , vem o Atendimento , que deixou muito a desejar . Os atendentes não são solícitos e prestativos . Espera mais , muito mais . Tinha direito a later checkout, mas fizeram um jogo duro até o final . O mesmo se deu no check in . Quase se negaram a liberar o quarto com 30 min de antecedência , quando fazia jus an early check in pelo status do hotéis.com . Enfim , não se esforçaram a atender e ajudar o hóspede , merecendo 5.

Kyle (10/5): - The location was fabulous. The property is adjacent to the Beagle Channel. You can walk out and see the birds and shoreline. It is extremely quiet. Management offers a shuttle service to downtown area so if you do not have a rental car you can still get there without relying on a taxi. Even if you use the taxi or uber, the fares are extremely cheap. The breakfast spread was great servicing both European and American foods --Cereal, Toast, Pastries, Deli meats, scrambled egg and bacon by request. The rooms were clean and well maintained. At night you can open your window and hear the sounds of nature. I had a wonderful time. The internet/wifi is also acceptable for this region.

GlobetrottingSwede (8/5): Stunning views - We stayed five nights in this hotel outside of town. It is right by the beach and has stunning views over the mountains both on Argentina and Chile sides. Good place to take a walk on the beach after dinner. Functional rooms, many of which have great views. The food in the restaurant is average, but the wait staff is very friendly.

A equipe é amigável e os quartos são limpos. No verão, o ar condicionado faz falta (embora conste no anúncio que tem, mas não tem). Como pontos negativos, destacaria ainda: a falta de cortinas blackout nos quartos, o sol nasce às 5h e põe-se quase 23h) e o café da manhã, que não está à altura do padrão e do preço do hotel
malvern09 (6/5): Lovely location, but eat in town - A nice location, on the seashore, just to the west of town. Wonderful views across the Beagle Channel. The rooms are a good size, but not particularly luxurious. The restaurant, at the end of the building, has great views. The food however, was not so great. Breakfast was pretty minimal, in choice and quantity. Dinner offered unexciting choices, which were very indifferently prepared. If you've got the option, go into town for something better.
Pomarinus (6/5): Very nicely located - We stayed here two nights. The hotel is out of town (they provide a shuttle at certain timings, but it is also possible to walk in for c 40 minutes). The surroundings with woods, a stream and the beach with a view to Chile is fantastic. Staff generally do not speak English and the male staff in the restaurant were not very service-minded, becoming increasingly irritated as we did not understand them. The reception staff were friendly and more helpful. The restaurant/bar was also closed except for lunch- and dinnertime, so it is not possible to e g get a cup of coffee outside of opening times, not even if asking nicely. The atmosphere in my room was quite stuffy, but the room was big. Poor locks to hte window, and being at ground floor I did not want to have it open at night, even if crime is low here. But if you wish to have peaceful surroundings and do not wish to have a full-service hotel I can recommend it. I would probably stay in town next time though.
ArtH_11 (8/5): Nice location and great views - Stayed here for a couple of nights. It is very nice, but about a 5 minute drive out of town. They do have a shuttle that runs on schedule into the downtown area. Our room was large and adequately furnished. The dining area is spacious and offers great views of the bay and mountains. Breakfast i s included in the price and is so-so. We ate dinner here and the menu was very good and the dishes nicely prepared. The wait staff was pleasant. They have a reasonable wine menu. The "bar" (actually the dinning room) only opens for business 30 minutes before the restaurant opens
robertred2017 (10/5): Peaceful hotel - fantastic setting - This hotel is quite a way out of the city but there are free shuttle buses to get to and fro. For me, that was the only negative point of the hotel. The service, the room and en-suite were excellent. The view over the Beagle Sound when eating breakfast was unsurpassed. When I had to leave before breakfast started - which was of an excellent quality and choice - I was presented with a travel breakfast to take with me to the airport. An excellent hotel.
The_fotobug (8/5): Switched from our original booking - but glad we did! - We originally booked at Costa Ushuaia, but it was full and we were moved to the Tolkeyen Hotel just about a block away and were glad we did. It was quiet, beautiful grounds right on the Beagle channel and decent wifi. The room was clean and the restaurant was OK, but the service was friendly despite the fact our waitress didn't speak English. I know enough Spanish to get by! The free breakfast was adequate.
