We found this hotel through our travel agent and she said she would not stay anywhere else in Mendoza and we could t agree more! We have traveled all over the world and stayed at 5 star hotels and this hotel compares very favorably. This is an intimate hotel with seven rooms in a perfect location, walking distance to Chacras De Coria (a very quaint and high end town) and a 15 minute ride to Mendoza. The rooms were beautiful and very spacious, the breakfast was delicious and abundant, the property is gorgeous and very clean and the staff was just the best, so kind, helpful, friendly and beyond accommodating. We loved our stay.

The room itself was expansive and beautifully designed, more like a private luxury apartment than a hotel room. Having a full kitchen, a private plunge pool, and an in-room sauna made the experience feel exclusive and indulgent. The bathroom was absolutely dreamy and added to the feeling of total retreat. The exterior spaces mirror the same attention to detail: warm, welcoming, and quietly elegant. The location in Chacras is ideal, peaceful, scenic, and perfectly situated for exploring wineries and restaurants, while still feeling private and serene. It was incredibly relaxing, the only sounds in the morning were birds chirping after I woke up, which made the experience feel restorative and private. The entire property was spotless, with impeccable cleanliness throughout. The staff were outstanding - gracious, attentive, and genuinely invested in making my stay effortless. They arranged winery tours and restaurant reservations seamlessly. Breakfast was exceptional as well, it was fresh, delicious, and something I looked forward to each morning. I also enjoyed an in-room massage arranged through the hotel, and the therapist was of the highest professional caliber. Having that experience in the privacy of my room was truly exceptional. For this level of comfort, service, privacy, and thoughtful design, the value is truly unmatched. You simply cannot find this quality of experience at this price point elsewhere. Hotel La María feels like a distant home you never want to leave - elegant, peaceful, and deeply restorative. Highly recommended.
• 665kendram (10/5): Fantastic boutique hotel with fabulous service - highly recommend! - We absolutely and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Maria - the only downside is that our 2 night stay wasn’t long enough! The property is well laid out, tranquil and peaceful. Our suite was amazing - spacious and yet cozy, with so many extra touches, like Alexa controlled shades, a wooden soaking tub, a fireplace, a dry sauna right off the shower, and a personal plunge pool. The service was amazing as well - from check in to check out. They assisted with dinner and bodega reservations, and quickly delivered any requested items to our room. We had the privilege to meet the owner while we were there, and greatly enjoyed hearing the story of how the hotel came to be and how he salvaged an original adobe wall from an existing structure on the property. If we ever find ourselves in the Mendoza area again, we will definitely return to La Maria!
• Kaylajopenn (10/5): Best service of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in! - Wow I cannot say enough good things about La Maria. It was a 10/10 experience from start to finish. The rooms are beautiful and huge. The service is the best I’ve ever had. Within 1-2 mins of requesting anything, they are at your door. It was incredible! They upgraded our room without asking for no charge as well. Everyone at the front desk was exceptionally helpful. The property is stunning and we loved the area nearby to walk to restaurants. It was also centrally located for a short drive to a lot of the wineries we visited. We will definitely be back!!

Barbara gave us a warm, friendly, and efficient welcome, and was always on hand to help with our itinerary and especially useful with her knowledge of the local bodegas! Our suite was beautiful, decorated in a charming New Mexico–Californian style, with pretty palm-tree gardens and a relaxing waterfall just outside. Breakfasts and dinners were excellent, thoughtfully prepared, and full of fresh flavors. We truly didn’t want to leave and are already looking forward to returning.

Once you enter your suite you will be so happy you chose to stay here! It’s like nowhere I’ve ever stayed. It’s aromatic. Relaxing. Earthy. Boho. Wired amazingly with Alexa to open and close your blinds and play your music. You are able to have the complimentary breakfast delivered to your personal dining room at a minimal charge and it’s fantastic. They made all of our reservations. They had a wine happy hour meet and greet. I cannot say enough about this boutique hotel. A must see and stay. Right in the heart of the vineyards. A+

Our stay in Mendoza delivered all the character you’d hope for. The hotel has seven beautifully appointed rooms, each uniquely themed after a famous writer—but with a level of spaciousness that absolutely surprised us. We landed the Hemingway Suite and this so-called “boutique” room clocks in at over 1,000 square feet. Most rooms have their own private plunge pool and dry sauna and ours even had a full kitchen. Think cozy charm but supersized. If Mendoza is on your radar (or even if it isn’t yet), we wholeheartedly recommend this “quaint” little sanctuary. The value for what you get is genuinely impressive.

I stayed in the Camus Suite- it had everything you could want incluing a private heated plunge pool and in room sauna. The hotel is located in a beauifully landscaped and private compound. Stylish and sophisticated decor. The bed was so comfortable. Service warm and gracious, greeting us with a glass of Mendoza wine. Good recommendations for dinner. Pictures on the website do not do it justice. Worth every penny and at a bargin price compared to USA.

• 261geofft (10/5): Oasis in Mendoza - We were greeted at the door by friendly staff when we arrived for our week stay. From that point on we were made to feel like we were a part of the family. Each staff member made an effort to get to know us and were so nice and helpful. The rooms are huge and are beautifully designed and decorated. The theming of each room around famous authors is unique and impressive. The individual spa and sauna for each room gave us privacy and the opportunity to relax in our own space. The beds are comfortable and the huge TV is cool. Plenty of storage space and a kitchenette made it feel like home. The grounds are immaculate and spacious and provides many areas to relax. The restaurants breakfast, dinner and service was first rate. Highly recommended
• Sunshine64471874381 (10/5): A true gem right at the Andes! - Highly recommended! I stayed at Boutique Hotel La Maria in Mendoza for 8 days, and it was absolutely wonderful. Everything was perfect — the relaxing sauna, the lovely pool, the super comfortable beds, and the beautiful garden that feels like a little paradise. The restaurant serves amazing food, and the staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel completely at home. What makes it even more special is the location — you can go mountain biking right from the hotel, with the Andes trails starting just outside the door. Every detail has been thought of, and it truly shows. A fantastic experience from start to finish — 5 stars, well deserved!

The rooms are beautifully appointed with facilities such as saunas, heated plunge pool and a cinema room. We stayed in the Isabel Allende suite. All the facilities in the room can either be controlled manually or via Alexa Home. The staff were excellent and provided outstanding service throughout our stay. The on-site restaurant (Daukos) offered excellent food and an impressive wine list. This hotel is an ideal spot to base oneself for visits to Mendoza’s vineyards.

The staff are the real stars! So accommodating and lovely to chat with. They made our stay feel like home. Don’t miss eating at Daukos!! The food and service was phenomenal. We will be dreaming of our meals there! There is also a lovely cat, Tito, that we got to hang out with and it really was just the best! 100% worth a stay and visit to the restaurant while in Mendoza!
• 560cameronp (10/5): La Maria hotel is a total dream - La Maria hotel is a dream. It’s one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms are immaculately designed and have so many fun features. My wife and I stayed in the Arthur Camus and it had a dry sauna and a small plunge hot tub. It even had a nice tub in the room. Breakfast was fantastic every morning , everything is baked fresh and it’s a nice change from being in the states. I highly suggest doing a dinner at their new restaurant Daukos. It’s a great place to stay for wine tasting because it’s a bit of a shorter drive to many wineries than staying in Mendoza. There is also a nice plaza with 3-4 restaurants that are 10 min walking up the road from the hotel. There are only 7 rooms so you feel like you’re the only ones at the hotel which makes it very serene. I looked at many hotels in Mendoza city but I’m so happy I went with La Maria. Couldn’t recommend it more. It’s great value as well. Stay here !!

Our ignorance about the area and about the delicious local wines was professionally and expertly tackled by the hotel staff. • Q3540OArogers (10/5): Phenomenal boutique hotel experience! - We were blown away by the accommodations and service at La Maria! The property was so nice and the rooms were phenomenal! We stayed in the Hemingway suite which I would put up against any room that we’ve ever stayed in anywhere. Awesome high end finishes, including full kitchen and dry sauna in the bathroom. Each room gets its own dipping pool/hot tub. The hotel is in a very peaceful neighborhood with some nice places within walking distance to…it’s also very close to town and several amazing wineries. The staff here is incredible and so sweet and helpful. Breakfasts at the hotel are perfect to start the day. They had a nice reception with wine and snacks where we were able to meet other guests and make some friends. Will definitely be staying here again when we return to Mendoza!

The hotel grounds are beautiful with well-maintained landscaping, custom firepit, hot tubs, and the hotel room itself is a masterpiece. We stayed in the Ernest Hemingway suite and highly recommend it. This hotel and staff are exceedingly helpful and helped us plan wine tours, white water rafting, dining, and helping us find random activities like nearby shopping. They will provide you with everything you need to know to have an amazing trip. Cannot recommend this hotel enough. We will definitely be back!

When we entered our room, we were astonished—we stayed in the Ernest Hemingway suite and couldn’t believe how beautifully decorated it was, with every detail thoughtfully designed. The room was also impressively high-tech, equipped with Alexa to control everything from the lights to the blinds, making the experience both modern and seamless. We had our own hot tub, soaking tub, and sauna- IN our room! The owner was in town as well and is a super nice guy and helped us out a lot on our last day. Great location as well- we walked to a bunch of delicious restaurants right in the neighborhood. Very quiet and safe. 10/10!

The staff are so friendly and extremely helpful - they will find available tours and book them for you. Communication is done through WhatsApp so no need to keep going to reception. The rooms are amazing, with a private outdoor heated pool, an indoor sauna and a bath in the bedroom. It is only 20 mins from Plaza Independencia so you can enjoy the city too. The bed was so comfortable and the rooms were spotless.

They helped us make reservations at wineries, gave us excellent restaurant recommendations, and consistently made sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of. The property is beautiful, with an excellent location, perfect for those looking for a peaceful atmosphere, personalized service, and a cozy environment. This boutique hotel was amazing and the service was 5 stars , equal to the famous Asian hospitality. We stayed here for our anniversary. The staff worked with me prior to arrange flowers and macaroons to be waiting for us on arrival , going above and beyond , sending different flower arrangements and macaroons to options from local stores. The room: The room was absolutely stunning. This boutique hotel is quiet, serene, and only has a few villas. The room was massive, with its own sauna, outside heated pool, and giant wooden tub. Perfect for couples. It is also very technological modern, with everything being controlled via voice control. It was one of the nicest rooms and set ups I have stayed in in all my years of travels. Staff: The staff was amazing and very responsive. Any request or issues , they answered immediately , facilitated any request, and always were willing to assist. They also set us up with an amazing tour guide for the vineyards that were also amazing. Overall: This is a 10/10 , 5 star place to stay in Mendoza. I have already recommended it to my friends who are planning to travel to Mendoza. When I return, I will definitely be staying here again.

It provides a unique concept with each one of is rooms, architecture and materials used are top notch. But in reality the best part of this place is the people. They are so nice and always ready to help in any way to make your experience there and in Mendoza better. On top of it all, you get to customize your daily breakfast and enjoy it in their bar area or even request to have it served in your room if you so desire. We will for sure come back!

The staff, especially Barbara, was welcoming and offered amazing options for nearby dining. Their local expertise helped us with wineries tour and experiences. Can not wait to return.
• Ana Maria (10/5): - Hotel La Maria is truly a boutique hotel. Only seven suites, all extremely well appointed (we were able to see other the suites where friends were staying), but aside from the esthetics of the property, what makes the hotel an excellent choice is its staff. Everyone is professional and genuinely caring of the guest's comfort. The hotel offers a succulent and abundant daily breakfast, and the rooms include nice amenities, some (like our suite) have a steam room and a dry sauna, a small pool, and a separate tv room on the second floor of the suite. Other amenities include daily water replenishment of both flat and sparkling bottles of water (at least 8 per day), Nespresso machine, Alexa to manage all the lights, music and window coverings in the room, and more. The suites include a small kitchen equipped with dining utensils, and a wine cooler with a generous wine bottle selections. Value for dollar, this property is a no brainer! I would definitely return on my next visit to Mendoza.

We were greeted with a glass of wine upon our arrival which was such a nice surprise after a long day of travel. The room smelled so good! And it was soo luxurious, no detail was forgotten. The surroundings are beautiful and tranquil; the room, truly impeccable, complete with sauna, soaking tub, office, comfy sitting (napping😊) corner, beautiful kitchenette complete with wine refrigerator, massive bathroom with dual sinks, his and her closets, a fireplace, and private patio with a lovely pool. Every detail, beautifully rendered, including aroma machine, Alexa-controlled music and lighting. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Breakfast was fantastic and all of this within walking distance of the small town of Chacras de Coría.

Both were fabulous, although I did have to rely on the front desk to ask them to make the water in the plunge pool warm enough. Huge, very comfortable bed, great shower, beautiful room with free water (very important after a day at the wineries), delicious breakfast (but it’s no longer free to get it delivered to your room), and great service. Highly, highly recommend.

The property itself is absolutely beautiful, and the room was spacious, thoughtfully designed, and filled with gorgeous details that made it feel like pure luxury. The included breakfast was a highlight—delicious and carefully prepared. They did an excellent job accommodating gluten-free options, and the gluten-free croissants were the best I’ve ever tasted! The location is also fantastic—just a short drive to downtown Mendoza and the surrounding wineries. Plus, there are a few great restaurant options within a 10-minute walk. We especially loved Zappa! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious stay in Mendoza.

We stayed at the Hemmingway Villa- amazing attention to detail, the room was beautiful! All the units have their own pool and are super clean, the full breakfast delivered to your room was all you could ask for. Concierge was a text away for setting reservations for restaurants and tours. Good location close to many restaurants. Great experience!!
• Ethan (8/5): Beautiful boutique hotel - Overall, this is a cozy little boutique hotel with only 7 rooms which enables the staff to really take care of all guests on a highly personal level putting the service level above similar options in the area. The service at this hotel it truly exceptional. They are available 24/7 and help you do absolutely everything from booking restaurants to wineries and providing recommendations for all of these. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and individually customized which creates a unique comfort. The breakfast is good but doesn't offer specialized coffees. Only standard french press. Location is good as you are relatively close to some of the best wineries in the region. Unfortunately, we booked the only room without a private hot tub and didn't realize it. If you get this room it really cuts down on your options of things to do on site especially with the summer heat. I would say the price/value ratio compared to similar resorts for this room is not aligned as the site lacks any shared facilities outside the room itself besides a firepit leaving you with limited on site activities. It also misses out on a few of the details I would expect to see at a resort priced at this level such as complimentary daily water bottles or free chocolates. The additional charges for these is quite obscene (10 USD for 3 chocolates.
