- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Hotel in Brussels - I stayed at the OPO Hotel for 1 night in June 2025 with my wife and teenage son. I completed the online (pre) check in so upon arrival at the hotel the process to receive keys was simple, fast and efficient. The check in staff was welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and luxurious. The sleeper sofa was already opened and fitted with bed linen and pillows. The room (and hotel) appears to be relatively new (or renovated) - very clean and no signs of wear or aging. The location is nearby a metro station and various restaurants, bars and shops - but there was no noticeable noise when inside the hotel. There is no restaurant in this hotel, but this wasn't a problem for me. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Brussels.

The suite I booked was fantastic, highly recommend spending a bit extra for the luxury as it was simply stunning. Despite being in the city centre the bedroom was very quiet. The hotel is a great base for exploring Brussels and a short walk to the station means easy access to other places in Belgium. I will definitely return to this hotel in the future.

The only laundry service in the hotel was dry cleaning so I had to go to a laundromat in the rain. The room didn’t get cool and dry enough for me and they didn’t want us to open the window because it would let insects inside. It had a useful mini fridge and an iron with an ironing board. But no ice was available. It did have an in room safe.

- Denise (10/5): Updated Hotel in Central Location - Our stay at the OPO Hotel was great. It’s in an excellent, central location. The interior has been recently renovated & everything is sleek & new. The bed was a little too firm for me, but was good for my husband. They don’t have any food there, but there are many great restaurants all around. The only issue that we had was controlling the temperature in the room. We were told that they have to do it at the front desk & when it got too warm in the middle of the night, there was no one we could contact to turn the temperature down. We opened the windows, but there was a lot of noisy construction all around that you could hear when they were open. Overall, a great stay, though.

It was an excellent choice I booked a suite and it had ample room if you wished to do some work whilst you had a vacation It was well maintained and superbly clean....spotless The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is simply excellent. On the corner of a crossroads and only approximately 400 m for Grand Place. Hundreds of eating possibilities and drinking locations are right on your doorstep. There is no bar or restaurant presently on site but I didn't miss those facilities as you had everything available close by. I know it could mean a lot to some people but not me in slightest. To all involved in the smooth running of the OPO Hotel, I offer my congratulations and can safely say, I wouldn't hesitate in staying there again. Bravo

The hotel is walking distance to Brussels central train station and close to Brussels Midi station not to mention walking distance to so many great attractions, shops, restaurants. We didn't have to Uber once while we were there. We felt safe walking around after dark in this area. Highly recommend.

My room was a stylish interior; it was spacious, clean and very comfortable with views to old Brussels buildings. The Dansaert area is lovely. More communal space would have made this a perfect hotel.

La habitación amplia, moderna y muy limpia, la cama muy grande y cómoda, el baño espectacular y en la habitación no se escuchaba nada de ruido exterior. La única pega que pondría es que no ofrecen servicio de desayuno. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The room was spacious, modern and very clean, the bed was very big and comfortable, the bathroom was spectacular and you could not hear any outside noise in the room. The only downside I would put is that they do not offer breakfast service.

- 63tilmanh (10/5): Ideal place for short sightseeing stays in Brussels. - Perfect location close to the city center. Just opposite a huge parking garage with many charging spots for electric cars. The staff is very friendly, very helpful and does everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. At the moment, there is no breakfast option but there are many bakeries close by.

They were able to get us in a little early so that we didnt have to cart our luggage around during our chocolate and beer tour. Room was very comfortable and well appointed. Our only complaint was that we didnt stay there the previous night. I'll be dreaming of that shower for a long time.

It was convenient for shops, restaurants, historic sites, cafes etc. Our room was beautiful (executive triple), clean, spacious and so quiet. It's a 10 minute walk to Centraal station with links to other parts of Belgium. The staff were very helpful and kind, providing us with a map of the area with places of interest highlighted. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Brussels.

The bathroom door was a little odd, while it wasn’t see through if your partner got up before you and turned on the light it lit up the bedroom too. The hotel also didn’t have an ice machine, not a big deal but we Americans love our ice! 😁 but those were very small things compared to the quality staff and accommodations!! Great location too! Easy walk to Grand Place and Centraal.
- Alena (4/5): - It is a very simple hotel, just renovated last year, and you can see it. There were few issues during our stay. First, AC system is central and you cannot control it at all. It was set to 16C degrees!! It was freezing. You either go for it or turn it off, but it was during a heat wave, so turning off was not really an option, and yet, we had to. Then hot water got shut down for almost a day. How about a cold shower? My husband got terrible sick from it. No apology from the hotel. Housekeeping staff was so loud at 8-9 am in the morning shouting across the hall to each other. You can’t hear traffic or construction outside, we were woken up by inconsiderate housekeeping. Last, but not least. Pillows are awful. And that’s something so simple to get right, I don’t know how they got it so wrong. They are firm as a rock, stuffed so much, that you can adjust to your liking. And they are couch cushion size, so your head keeps sliding off. 5 pillows on the bed could be normal size, two firm, two soft and one medium. But they made it all rock solid. Our necks hurt. I had to sleep on my travel neck pillow, this is how bad it was.

We stayed for 3 nights with our baby and the room they gave us was lovely. We also booked the cot which baby seemed to enjoy. Great location for attractions & shopping. They don't have a restaurant or breakfast service yet but there are many options to eat out or take away. Would stay again.
- Hailey (6/5): Could be better - Location was very convenient, but with some changes this could have been better. The furnishing in the room was not the best. The bathroom had partial glass walls with no doorknob and the door didn’t close properly (it was always at least 1-2 inches open) so it was not very private. Not great for more than one person staying in the room. You could also hear street noise even though we were on the top floor. When we arrived some of the outlets in the room didn’t work (although this was quickly rectified when staff was told about it). Front desk was always super pleasant when we spoke to them 😊 Overall the room was clean and had a good shower, but not sure it was worth the price we paid.

The room was large for European standards and had a full king size bed which was very comfortable. The rooms are very modern and clean. When we checked in we had the most amazing staff member helping us. Her name was Rebecca and she was so friendly, helpful and enthusiastic about the City and the hotel. She made our stay even more enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Brussels.

La tele de la habitación no funcionaba durante 3 días hasta que nos cambiaron, no cerraba bien la puerta de la entrada del cuarto cuando salíamos. Es muy difícil operar un hôtel así con 1-2 personas en recepción solamente. Creo que cuando superen estos temas y pongan un bar-restaurante será una excelente opción, principalmente por ubicación
