While the room was very nice and clean, there was no staff present, no proper check in, the neighborhood is very sketchy, there is no clear sign where the hotel even is! Photos on Expedia are very deceiving. Had no instructions on how to get into building and room. Had to call number on web site. Once the check in shock was over, not a bad experience as great dining and shops to blocks on the left.

• Anonymous (7/5): Good - The room itself was very clean and modern. The shower had hot water and good water pressure and the bed was comfortable. The hosts were quick to help me when I had trouble entering the property. Finding the property was a bit confusing/disconcerting. The main door to the building was open when we arrived and the entryway and staircase were dark, so it was unclear where to go at first. However, the hosts FaceTimed me and explained where to go, which was very helpful.

• Maureen (10/5): The owners of the property were extremely accommodating, kind and helpful. We rented a studio apartment, it was clean co - Psiri Vibes was very accommodating at honoring my request for an early check in as we coming from USA and would be arriving in Athens before the normal check in time. The place is close enough to walk to the great food establishments and flea market yet far enough to be able to get peace and quiet. The only negative experience was once we arrived at Psiri Vibes we didn’t have the information advised by message due to the fact we were en route to Athens when the message was sent and didn’t have internet access to retrieve the message.
• Sue (9/5): Would definitely go back there, communication with the hosts was very good and they organised our transport from Piraeus - Great location just off the noisier part in the evenings so it was perfect. Lovely room, very comfy bed and great shower. Communal kitchen was a plus, very well equipped. Only slight drawback was the lack of signage outside , this may have been due to some work being carried out on the building so we were unsure where we were!
• Carley (8/5): Comfortable, great price, loved the location! - Great location, short walk to the acropolis and felt like we were in the middle of the action. The host was very nice and responsive. Easy late check-in, we didn’t get to the hotel until 10pm. Clean, updated room with an AC. We also liked the balcony and enjoyed a late night glass of wine outside after walking around and exploring. The room is small and simple. But it was a great price and just what we needed for 1 night in Athens.

Breakfast served at The Brunchers is a delightful start to your day. Their “No.02” option is good. Funky neighborhood vibes. Graffiti-covered walls, a corner grocery for all your quick‑grab essentials. Nothing at all.
• Damien (6/5): Good and not so good - The location is fantastic—right in the heart of everything, making it easy to explore the area. There are plenty of food options nearby, whether you're in the mood for local flavors or something more familiar. Check-in was chaotic, with instructions not communicated in the app and a bit of disorganization, promises made to "make it up to us" not delivered and no signage due to maintenance. If you're assigned Room 1, be prepared for noise—the three AC units outside the window make it hard to get uninterrupted sleep. The timed hot water system is also unusual more hostel like than hotel. Overall, this place has its perks, but there are a few quirks that may not suit every traveler. If convenience and dining choices are your top priorities, it’s a solid option—but if a smooth check-in and a quiet room matter most, you may want to consider alternatives.

The area is very safe, for a single traveler, walking in distance from acropolis and subway station. Several restaurants around. They also make arrangementsfor transport if you need.. Note that Psiri Vibes is a suite style stay. Not a hotel, so they will send the door codes and are available online/WhatsApp if you need assistance. I arrived at 2am and I got assistance. Gina is super! Last day, there were breakfast delicious Greek treats for me in the morning. Thank you very much! I definitely want to go back there. The only thing is that the room is small, but again, it is very comfortable and clean

• Goran (10/5): A cozy calm place in a vibrant and dynamic neighbourhood. - Perfect location, just on the edge of the most vibrant and dynamic part of Athens and yet quiet and calm. Very cozy and well equipped room with fully functional bathroom. Very comfortable bed and Nespresso coffee machine with capsules available. Nothing particular that I could think of.

• Dan (2/5): Very poor - We were extremely disappointed when we arrived in the area as it is covered in graffiti. To enter the property one must put in a 7-digit code to unlock at large, heavy gate. Then a code is needed to open the lock box to enter a very dark space. We are en elderly couple and did not feel safe having to go through such security to even enter the building. We left without having stayed and found other accommodations. For a little over the same price we stayed in a very nice hotel in a pleasant area where we were able to walk in the door without having to go through a locked fence. Even for young people, it is definitely not worth the price. There was no host.

• Caroline (6/5): Comfortable bed, but too humid room - The location is great, a lot of restaurants and bar in the neighborhood and the center of Athens is small which makes every part accessible quite fast, by walking 15-30 minutes. The room was nice, simple but comfortable and efficient, especially the bed, which was comfortable. However, we did experience a few issues. It was quite noisy due to the parking staff just below the apartment (we used earplugs so then it was fine), but more importantly, the room was extremely humid, despite us airing it out daily. There were visible signs of mold in the shower and behind the bed, which isn’t great for our health: we actually got sick during our stay. We had the constant feeling of all the clothes and sheets being constantly wet.

Nothing to complain about. The corner where the building is located it’s a little dark/ lonely at night, but only 1 min away from all the lively Psiri neighborhood places.

Close to all the city sights and within a very active neighbourhood full of cafes, restaurants etc. Very well recommend this to anyone who wishes to see Athens on foot and doesnt want to waste time with public or other transport.

• Amit (8/5): Cool place in super convenient location - Location is central. Walking distance to almost all your needs. Walking distance all the major sites in Athens. Loukas the gentleman who manages the place is super helpful. It can be noisy on the weekends but that is to expected since it’s in the hub of all the nightlife.
• Jane (9/5): Excellent budget accommodation in a interesting area - I liked so much about Psiri Vibes - the location was only a short distance from most attractions and the area was a fascinating mix, I enjoyed that it wasn't full of touristy shops selling the same stuff everywhere. The accommodation was just what I wanted - a studio with a kitchen / sitting area, comfortable bed and a great shower - initially you do need to put the water on about 20 mins before you want a shower - it's on a timer, but once it's been on it seems to keep the pretty warm as I forgot to put it on one morning and the water was still plenty warm enough after 5 mins. You are given instructions on arrival on how to switch on the water, but not how long it needs to be on for before the water heats up. There is also a fully equipped kitchen for 5 of the rooms that don't have a kitchen and an outdoor seating area. There are items like tea & coffee, olive oil / pepper & salt etc available for general use. I was also able to leave my luggage in the communal kitchen area and I was also allowed to check out a couple of hours later, as my flight was later on that day. The only thing that was that on Friday and Saturday nights it is very noisy from the place on the ground floor and the streets in general - there are lots of trendy drinking places in the area. I was there for 7 nights and all the other nights were pretty quiet.

• Ilia (7/5): Good - Perhaps the main plus is that the apartments are within walking distance of tourist sites. There were clear instructions on check-in, so we had no problem getting in. If you are by car, there is a car park literally next door for 20 euros per day. From the amenities - there is a kitchen where you can warm up your own food and a small private terrace. The room was small. We did not like the musty odour which did not go away. Tried to figure out its source and it was most likely the mattress. The host on the second day of our stay asked if everything was OK, we told him that the room was not quite OK, so we were offered a replacement, which we must say we refused, because the next day we were already leaving. We would rather rate this accommodation below average in terms of value for money. Expensive and not very pleasant in general environment. It should be noted that the Psiri neighbourhood itself is quite specific: the northern part of it looks quite marginal, while the southern part is more touristy with lots of cafes, taverns and shops. We drove into it from the northern part - Arab eateries, Chinese junk shops, total graffiti on the houses, many houses with broken windows caught our eye. This was our first impression, which was corrected later to better, but still remained

• Bin (10/5): Great - The location is pretty good, about 10min walking from the Monastiraki station. There are lots of restaurants around here. Especially, the AC is perfect. If your room is facing the street, you may hear some noise from the garbage truck at the morning, but acceptable.
• Silke (10/5): Great place to stay☀️ - Outstanding situation. The name « Psiri Vibes » says it at it is. You feel the vibes of this vibrating district which is just gorgeous. Situated just one minute from the busy and vibrant places, but calm and quiet for restful nights. Clean, modern and confortable beds. Breakfast is served at a place called « the Brunchers » just a minute away and is excellent. We had a little issue regarding transportation upon my arrival. As the flight was delayed, I had to wait quite a while for the driver to come but George was very reactive and all went out well. Would definitely go back again and can highly recommend. I wouldn’t say there was anything negative. However all accesses are by codes and there is no staff on place. For those who are not used to this, this kind of organisation might be uncomfortable. But George send all instructions by what’s app, was very reactive and everything was perfectly clear.

Just 2 min walks from bars / restaurants and clubs the room is very spacious and well furnished You have everything you need for a short and long stay in Athens The bed has only a sheet and it can get cold There is a blanket and extra pillows available but no covers for them. Not the biggest problem but didn’t feel super hygienic.

The host George Karagkioules was very helpful.. and accommodated us even when we requested a very early morning check-out and taxi for the airport. Lots of storage space, comfortable bed and sufficient other provisions. The bathroom was not cleaned properly..we found hairs left in the shower area.. which was disgusting. The rooms were smaller than expected and the lighting in some areas.. specially bathroom and kitchenette felt insufficient.

We didn't like that simple toiletries weren't provided like shampoo conditioner shower gel, always is a nice touch. We know this is a preference on our end. We definitely didn't like the loud noise late at night that woke us up from people being really loud and drunk from partying. Definitely wouldn't recommend unless people are single and party people. We wouldn't stay here again it wasn't our vibe.

The balcony is very nice. The sheets and pillows smell not good, like the laundry didn’t dry enough. The water in the shower hurts my body because the pressure coming out of the jets is too strong.

I'll definitely book here again for my future Athens trips. The ability to leave my luggage in the shared kitchen area after checking out was much appreciated, as I had a night flight.

He cares about the needs of the co - My stay at this hotel was an amazing experience from the moment I entered the lobby. The service was excellent for every need and every question I had. The room was unusually clean and well equipped, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was courteous and professional, and you can always count on them for anything. The hotel is located in an excellent location that made it easy for me to travel around the city and discover all the local attractions. I definitely highly recommend this hotel and would love to return again in the future!
