Guest Reviews
- Favian (2/5): - This place was terrible. It was in a bad part of town, and the smell from the room was really awful. The water never got warm, and the humidity mixed with no AC made it even worse.
There was no air conditioning, and we never saw anyone at the reception desk. At one point, we caught the staff smoking weed on the balconies because we're pretty sure only staff lives in the bigger rooms with balconies. We were only able to stay two nights and booked elsewhere after those two nights. If I could rate this place 0 stars, I would. I'm usually not a fan of leaving low reviews, but this place was so bad that I felt compelled to. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, especially tourists. It's in a bad part of town and far from most tourist attractions. We used Uber most of the time, and at least four or five people recommended us not to stay here because of cartel activity. Yes the pictures look nothing like that in person. Photos are catfish. You can also hear everything from your room from traffic to dogs barking.
- William (10/5): - The place is just great next time. I’m back in San Jose from Guanacaste, I’ll stay here thank you very much. Tell the Hotel they do a great job and Byron the manager was excellent.
- Caroline (10/5): - Es una zona insegura de pavas
pero tiene mucha seguridad la propiedad tranquila y económica :)
- Bill (2/5): Would not recommend - The room was clean and the facility is secure. But that’s about all I can say that is good. The bed was like sleeping on concrete and the noise makes sleeping hard. There is a major road next to the hotel and the road traffic makes it impossible to sleep at night. And the water is the bathroom shower is just a little less than lukewarm.
So if you are looking for a room that has no hot water, a hard bed and is impossible to sleep in because of the road traffic, then this is the place for you. If you don’t want that, look elsewhere.
- samanta (6/5): Que barrio! - Ta bueno pero el barrio es complicado
- Juan Lopez (6/5): - There was no checkout service waited for 30 minutes at front counter I left without checking out because my Uber was outside waiting for me. Left the keys on the counter . I rang the doorbell and I also contacted them on WhatsApp with no response
- CARLOS (2/5): - NI OPINAR ES BUENO LA PEOR EXPERIENCIA DE MI VIDA.
- Karin (10/5): - sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, sichere Gegend
- ricardo (4/5): - Didnt accept to talk with me.
Just call me. or send and email
- Brandow (10/5): - Pros: Its easy to arrive, the place is nice and is in a main avenue.
Cons: Street parking, some issues with welcoming and payment status with staff.
For the price is very reasonable and great option if you are staying in San Jose
- Devin (10/5): - Nice property but not very central to the middle of San Jose.
- Devin (10/5): - The hotel rooms are clean, staff is very nice, and beds are comfortable. It is very basic but a good spot for the budget traveler.
- Peru (2/5): - Office hours are 8am-9pm. So, I arrived at 2am. The inn is in the hood in the middle of nowhere. Doors were locked. No one answered the doorbell or picked up phone. After an hour in the streets, a resident let me in. Slept in lobby. Got room, but smelled funny. The bathroom smelled like sewage, but that wasn’t it. Something died in the night stand. Far from anything and taxis are expensive.
- Khimea (4/5): - Would definitely recommend NOT staying here. We had no hot water, the agent at the desk didn't speak any English so it was very hard to communicate even though their website states they speak English, Spanish, and a third language, which I can't remember. No one is ever at the front desk to assist, even though it says 15/7 staff. The website also says they offer off-site parking which is not true. We had to find a nearby parking garage to park at for the one night we spent. It is far from the city center and most attractions. We ended up checking out after just one night but we're supposed to be there for 5. Choose somewhere else to stay. Overall a very disappointing experience.
- daniele (10/5): Very good deal - Super cheap, clean and tidy. There is a parking fairly cheap and very close. Only downside, the bed is not too comfy.
- Perri (8/5): Mosquitos killed the 5 stars - The stay was easy except for the MOSQUITOS AND THE STRANGE SMELLS COMING FROM THE BATHROOM SINK- everything else was above board. We kept the window shut and they still made their way in-

- Exodus (10/5): The hideaway stay more than expected - We got in late it was perfect and looks and feels great worth ever penny. The cheaper clean the better comfortable the water is hot people are friendly it’s a beautiful cute little small boutique hotel and it’s across the street from a pool.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - small room but very clean. Bathroom OK, clean towels. Furnishings... basic but at this price for the room it's ok. Very busy and very noisy street. No restaurants, grocery store nearby. No private parking, we park on the street. Courteous and welcoming staff. Living room and fridge in common.
