• Gasparini (10/5): Recepcionista Florência deixou minha estadia ainda melhor! - Além da localização incrível em Santiago, o hotel me surpreendeu em tudo, desde a acomodação (fiquei no quarto mais simples e superou minha expectativa) super lindo, cheiroso, aconchegante, deixaram 2 garrafinhas de água gratuitas, banheiro super gostoso de tomar banho… gostei muito! A recepcionista que me atendeu foi a Florencia, que é literalmente um AMOR! Uma querida, super atenciosa, agradável, simpática, arrasou nas indicações, e estava super atente no café da manhã, que inclusive estava maravilhoso (perguntou se eu queria ovos mexidos e trouxe junto com um pãozinho quentinho, manteiga, iogurte, tudo em uma bandejinha linda) incrível, e como sempre estou em Santiago, voltarei com certeza!

• Michael (9/5): Comfortable, well located boutique hotel in Santiago with excellent staff - The proximity to the main tourist attractions was excellent: restaurants, Cerro San Cristobal, Cerro Santa Lucia, and walking distance to Santiago cathedral (magnificent!). The staff were all very good: friendly, professional and attentive to our needs. Special mention though must go to Catalina who went out of her way to ensure our stay was comfortable; she was extremely professional, helpful and friendly, along with her excellent English which made communication easy. The bed was also very comfortable, and the breakfast was very good. Would recommend lighter sleepers use ear plugs at night due to external street noise.

Very close walking distance to interesting shops and restaurants in Lasterria, as well as other plazas and museums that are very worthwhile. Would highly recommend staying here. Nothing. I always appreciate having a little refrigerator available.The bathroom was spacious. Our view from the top floor was what really made this over the top wonderful! We sat on our balcony and enjoyed a glass of wine while viewing the park. We could also see the top of San Cristobal! It was lovely! The breakfasts were INCREDIBLE as well. They prepared eggs anyway you preferred. There was fruits, pastries and the most delicious breads every morning. The staff was was very helpful and courteous. Beatrice was especially kind to us. It was a lovely stay.

I can not say enough good things about the staff. The room was large and clean and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and again the staff was excellent, they went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The negative side was it is located on a back ally close to most things but the ally looks a bit shacky and graffety on the front of the building. The entrance way has a few floor tiles missing and not a very attractive reception area. The sofa in the reception area looks like it should have been replaced years ago, brookendown and soiled ugly brown cover.

Amenities are good, and location in the heart of Lastarria neighborhood is strategic Walls are not sound-isolated, so you easily hear when other guests arrive. Maybe this aspect could be improved.

BHB is lucky to have such a dedicated staff. Helping reschedule tours due to a flight delay was so helpful with our limited Spanish. Their assistance with scheduling transportation to and from airport was also outstanding. Comfortable, clean rooms and excellent beds were a plus. Lovely balcony for the cooler mornings and evenings. Breakfast was very good with numerous choices. Chilean bread was especially delicious. Relatively quiet despite location on a busy street. No night time noise disturbed our sleep. Very poor internet quality was troubling on the higher floors. The owners need to address this issue. Location was great for accessibility to many places but a bit less than desirable only because of crime in the area. Extra precautions necessary as foreign travelers.

Made a real effort at breakfast and to get gluten free bread for my husband.i think it’s probably good value for Santiago. Nice to have a balcony but there’s a lot of traffic fumes so we didn’t sit out. Safe was a bit tricky to manage, but it wasn’t a huge problem.

The staff was extremely professional, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, which made us feel right at home. They reached out to us prior to our stay and arranged a driver to pick us up at the airport (extra charge). The room was large, very comfortable, and the bed was comfortable. Our room had a large balcony overlooking the park. The hot water and WiFi worked perfectly. The breakfast was great way to start our day with eggs cooked to order. • Katherine (10/5): Great hotel! - Irma (I think that was her name) was super helpful and understanding and went out of her way for us. Entire hotel was clean and comfortable and quiet. I felt very safe. It was also within walking distance of good food, markets, and the art museum. Will stay again if we visit! Streets around the area are smelly and have a lot of trash but that's part of being in a big city.

• 25672 (9/5): Great location walkable to many sites; wonderful staff at both the hotel and affiliated hostel - very accommodating staff since we arrived after regular check in. We liked that they have other properties, one being steps away and enjoyed time in that space as well. The host arranged transit for us which was very smooth since we arrived in the night on New Year's eve so the traffic was an issue and we needed to take another route. The drivers chosen for each transfer were also great. The staff at the hotel where we stayed were very nice, good breakfast, and those at the hostel around the corner were also very nice and helpful. We even enjoyed the rooftop terrace for a few beers one night. The main entrance relies on guests to lock and we found it open multiple times. I think it would be better to have it auto-lock.
