- Marianne (10/5): - I loved the serenity. Villa Bonita is private, clean, and has everything you need for a stay on the Osa Peninsula. I was there specifically for birding, and a short drive trook my guide and me to the best hotspots for finding endemic very special Costa Rica species. Great beaches and chocolate tours nearby too. The host commmunicated well by WhatsApp and the neighbors made themselves available for any kind of help. The bed was very comfortable. Thew kitchen has everything I could have needed. The counter was great as a workspace for downloading all my photos from camera cards to a storage drive. There's a big TV I didn't use, but if that's your thing... There's air conditioning but the windows are screened, so I slept with them open to hear the jungle creatures at night. I wish I could have stayed much longer than two nights and will return. Thank you!
