• Stefani (1/5): Dirty and not changed sheets from the previous stay. - Our stay at Stone Court Boutique Studios in Giolou was extremely disappointing and frustrating. When we went to bed, we discovered that the sheets were clearly dirty and had not been changed. To make matters worse, all the spare keys for the studios were left unattended in a bowl outside, meaning anyone could have accessed any room — a serious safety concern. At around 22:30, we called the owner, Chris, who told us he would come and move us to another room. When he arrived and saw the sheets, he acted surprised at their condition. We then had to pack all our belongings again and move rooms in the middle of the night, after already showering, and go outside in the cold. This was extremely inconvenient and unacceptable. The owner insisted that we would receive a full refund for the night due to the situation. However, after we checked out, he completely stopped responding — ignoring our messages, calls, and even communication attempts through Booking. In the end, we paid the full amount for a night where we couldn’t relax or feel comfortable at all. This experience showed a complete lack of professionalism, hygiene standards, and basic customer service. I would not recommend staying here.

• Leigh (10/5): - Lovely setting with the pool, although it poured with rain the day I was there so I couldn't make the most of it. The apartment was nicely decorated and had enough equipment for preparing simple meals. A few extra welcoming touches. As other reviews have mentioned there weren't clear instructions sent beforehand about which apartment and how to get into it, so I had to phone the number outside - so take note if you don't have roaming.

• Tom (10/5): Spotless Villa and Standout Host - A beautiful villa located in a quaint village about half an hour drive from Paphos. Ideally located (although you will need a car) in the middle of the island making it easy to access the north and south coasts. Parking is easy outside the complex. The facilities were superb and the apartment complex itself was immaculately well kept. The local village of Giolou had a couple of lovely tavernas, a coffee shop and local shop. Easy access to the main B7 road to visit local towns and cities via car. Georgia was an attentive and friendly host who couldn’t have done enough for us during our stay. Meeting Georgia was one of the highlights of our trip! We can’t wait to visit again. Difficult to say - we had no complaints.

• Lisa (6/5): Nous aurions été ravis si l’insonorisation avait été correcte. - L’emplacement est super, stratégique pour visiter la côte ouest de Chypre, et dans un village authentique avec une excellente taverne. Le lieu est beau, paisible, et très bien entretenu par Georgia l’intendante qui s’assure qu’on ne manque de rien. L’insonorisation est inexistante. Si vous avez le malheur d’être au RDC avec voisins au dessus, vous entendrez leurs moindres faits et gestes. Nous avons très mal dormi pour cette raison ce qui a un peu gâché notre séjour. Il faudrait commencer par changer lits et literies (importants grincements de notre lit en plus de celui des voisins du dessus, et matelas trop mou), voire envisager de sérieux travaux. Enfin, le wifi et donc la télé (smart TV) ne marchaient pas, mais nous reconnaissons l’avoir signalé assez tardivement (bonne couverture réseau).

• Sabrina (6/5): Eine schöne Unterkunft, im Winter nicht geeignet. Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter schlecht. - Das Stone Court liegt sehr schön in den Bergen. Es ist richtig schön gemacht, ruhig. Die Reinigungsfrau war super lieb und freundlich. Wir hatten bis kurz nach 3 keine Infos zum Check In. Unsere Anfrage zum früheren Check In wurde nie beantwortet. Leider waren ein paar Haare in der Bettwäsche, als auch im Bad. In der ersten Nacht war es sehr kalt (Dezember). Mussten die Klimaanlagen-Heizung den ganzen Tag/ Nacht laufen lassen, um das Zimmer warm zu bekommen. Bei Regen hat es durch das Dach ins Zimmer geregnet, leider direkt in meinen Koffer, sodass alles nass war. Das ärgerlichste war eigentlich, dass der Vermieter sich kein einziges Mal dazu geäußert/ geantwortet/ gemeldet hat. Sehr schade!

• Trudie (10/5): Beautiful property, peaceful location - Stone Court is beautiful. Giolou is a lovely traditional Cypriot village, very quiet and peaceful. We had the smallest room 1. Very clean and comfortable bed and pillows which is a bonus. 2 great places to eat, less than 5 minutes walk away. Lovely staff, especially the cleaning lady who kept our room scrumptiously clean. Upon arrival, water, 2 mini bottles of red wine, biscuits/nibbles and good selection of tea/coffee. Excellent value for money. Lovely outdoor space, plenty of sun beds and tables with sun shades. Plenty of parking space, car recommended but there are busses to Polis and Paphos around 15 mins walk away. This will now be our go to place to stay while visiting family in Cyprus. There is nothing we didn’t like about the property. The room we had (no.1) was very small, not much storage space but that is reflected in the price paid. Perfectly suited for us. Other much larger units are available and equally beautiful.
• Alexey (7/5): - Very good and quite place, also it was brilliant clean Unfortunately, the fireplace turned out to be non-functional and only decorative. This is, of course, my fault for not double-checking in advance, but I specifically chose the more expensive room because it showed a real fireplace in the photos, which ended up being just for display. Additionally, the bed creaked with even the slightest movement, and there was an unpleasant sewage smell coming from the shower drain. Apart from these issues, everything else was wonderful. I hope the creaking bed and the drain smell will be fixed soon.

• Sarina (8/5): Sehr empfehlenswert! - Die Mitarbeiter waren extrem freundlich. Der Außenbereich hat uns super gefallen. Preis-Leistung super. Etwas außerhalb, mit dem Auto erreicht man jedoch auch viele schöne Spots in knapp einer halben Stunde. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Ausstattung der Küche ist auf das absolute Minimum reduziert. Da hatte ich leider etwas mehr erwartet. Dennoch kommt man zurecht. Das ist auch schon der einzige Nachteil der Unterkunft. Alles andere war wirklich super.
• Lucia (6/5): great but with creaking bed - the studio was very clean and well equipped, nice views, the pool was great the only, but very important con is that the bed was extremely noisy - each move one makes wakes him up with the creaking noise (maybe the neighbors as well, I don't know). it was so bad that in the middle of the night we ended up putting the mattress on the floor so we'd get at least some sleep. without the bed experience it would be 10/10

• Harald (7/5): zwei Nächte - schöne, gepflegte Anlage mit viel Ruhe -) Es wäre nett, wenn man vor der Ankunft eine Nachricht mit Türcode und Zimmername bekommen würde. Stattdessen muss man anrufen, wobei bei uns vorerst niemand erreichbar war. -) Das Bett hat eine sehr dünne Matratze und war wirklich unbequem.

I didn’t like that one couple was walking nude and also they took the sun loungers put them in front of their door, so no one could use it. Also lack of washing machine is a bit not comfortable if you plan a longer stay.

• Anke (8/5): Ontspannen vakantie in stijlvolle studio binnen rustige omgeving - De rustige omgeving met gezellige binnenkoer. Georgia, de gastvrouw, was supervriendelijk en elke ochtend bereid een korte babbel te slaan. Studio was goed onderhouden. Nabije omgeving: leuke restaurantjes! Badkamer was niet gemaakt om met 2 tegelijk in te staan. Als je op het toilet zat, kwam de badkamerdeur tegen je knieën als deze openstond. Ondanks toch een verzorgde badkamer. Hoewel er voldoende parkeermogelijkheid was naast de accommodatie, werd dit door andere gasten niet efficiënt benut (lees: egoïstisch; pal in het midden parkeren, of de laatste rij blokkeren). Hierdoor moesten we soms een paar minuten verderop parkeren. Dit kan door de verhuurders in de toekomst misschien aangepakt worden/nadenken over een oplossing (bv. Belijningen).

• Beatrice (10/5): - Proprietatea este exact ca în poze. Locul este minunat pentru a petrece timp la piscină, departe de zgomotul orașului. Comunicarea cu gazda a fost destul de greoaie, iar detaliile de check in le-am primit doar cu o oră înainte.
• Bettina (10/5): Jederzeit wieder! - Hier stimmen die Fotos wirklich! Die Anlage hat Charme und Großzügigkeit. Die Dame, die jeden Tag vorbeischaut, um das Nötige zu tun, ist super freundlich und hilft bei allem. Ich habe mich so wohl gefühlt, dass ich statt auf eine Wanderung zu gehen, einfach mal einen ganzen Tag dort genossen habe. Und über die kulinarische Begrüßung in dem Apartment habe ich überdies sehr gefreut. Danke nochmal! Es muss einem bewusst sein, dass man etwas abseits von Paphos liegt, aber dafür genießt man wirkliche Ruhe!

• EVA (4/5): Decepción - El apartamento está ubicado en un pueblo cerca de Pafos muy tranquilo. Tiene piscina y es como una villa con varios alojamientos en su interior. El apartamento es correcto, con un buen baño, agua con caudal, cocina, hervidor y mini nevera. La decoración es rústica y tiene aparcamiento en la zona. Al apartamento (7) le falta iluminación, es de dimensiones un poco limitadas con algún mobiliario defectuoso. La cama es muy mejorable: ruidosa, tuve que nivelarla al estar inclinada, colchón de muelles deformados... en fin un desastre. El resto de anomalías huelgan al fallar el principal motivo del alojamiento que es descansar. El precio (83 €) es excesivo: supongo que la supuesta privacidad, el aislamiento y la "piscina" tienen un costo pero no lo justifica fallando en lo principal.

• Pia (9/5): Tolle kleine Oase! - Sehr schöne kleine Oase in einem sehr sehr gastfreundlichen und niedlichen Bergdorf! Die Fotos passen zu 100%. Es war super ruhig und man hatte immer einen Ansprechpartner, wenn irgendetwas war. Mit dem Auto war alles touristische gut zu erreichen und in dem kleinen Dorf gab es sowohl Einkaufsmöglichkeiten als auch Tavernen mit gutem Essen. Sehr zu empfehlen! :) Das einzige was uns gefehlt hat war, dass wir gern eine Beschreibung bekommen hätten wie es sonst so üblich ist, beispielsweise mit dem Türcode, der Zimmernummer und dem WLAN Passwort. So mussten wir alles erst erfragen. Und eine größere Pfanne wäre gut gewesen, aber sonst war die Ausstattung in zum kochen in Ordnung. :)

Requests and minor issues that we had were handled by the lovely Mrs Georgia. Message from owner after booking, directed us to a UK number which was not answered. Be very cautious if you NEED wifi, we couldn’t find any code, anywhere, used data instead. Minor issues such as the shower riser rail which was broken, was not addressed by Mr. Chris when it was brought to his attention through text message. One of the “Deluxe rooms” (there are supposedly two) is much smaller than the one pictured on the app.

Toen ik terug stuurde dat het niet lukte kreeg ik geen reactie meer (dit was een jaar voordat we gingen) na meerdere pogingen wilde ik annuleren en kon dat ook niet. Slechte service.

• Mia (9/5): Un risveglio rilassante - Il cortile con la zona piscina e ombrelloni era semplicemente fantastico, un luogo ideale dove rilassarti. La “stanza” (abbiamo soggiornato in quella da 4 persone nonostante fossimo solamente in due) era perfetta, grandissima e dotata di tutti i comfort possibile. Era letteralmente come un appartamento! Nelle vicinanze c’è un ottimo ristorante di cucina tipica “To Palati”, raggiungibile in meno di 10 minuti a piedi. Nonostante avessimo prenotato online al nostro arrivo non c’era nessuno ad accoglierci, ma dopo circa 10 minuti (e diverse chiamate) è arrivata una signora con cui abbiamo fatto il check-in. La stessa signora la mattina dopo mentre eravamo in piscina a rilassarci ci ha messo fretta per fare check-out (insomma, andarcene), nonostante avessimo ancora del tempo. Non ci è piaciuto.

• Παναγιώτης (7/5): Ήταν μια ωραία και ξεκούραστη διαμονή. - Όλο το συγκρότημα ήταν όμορφο. Αναπαλαιωμένα διαμερίσματα με ωραία αισθητική. Η καθαρίστρια πολύ ευγενική και πρόσχαρη. Πολλή ησυχία στον χορό. Το πάτωμα ήταν λερωμένο.(γεμάτη τρίχες/μαλλια γυναικών άλλον.) εκτός από το πάτωμα το υπόλοιπο διαμέρισμα ήταν καθαρό. Η πισίνα ήταν λερωμένη και έπρεπε να το αναφέρομαι για να καθαριστεί. Το κρεβάτι ήταν πολύ θορυβώδες και όχι ιδιαίτερα άνετο. Στην φωτογραφία όταν κανεις κράτηση σου βγάζει άλλο διαμέρισμα και σε παρασύρει και όταν κλείσεις μπαίνεις απλά σε άλλο διαμέρισμα. Αν προσέξουν λιγο την καθαριότητα του πατώματος τα αλλά όλα ήταν οκ.

• BARBARA (3/5): Très très décevant - L’emplacement, quasi à mi chemin entre Polis et Paphos (nord-sud), et Peyia à l’ouest, est idéal pour alterner visites et plages. Le studio  "de luxe" ne correspond pas aux photos, il était censé faire 28 m2 mais en il fait bien un tiers de moins, avec une salle de bain très exiguë. Il n’y a pas d’eau chaude, elle est à peine tiède. Un plomb a sauté : pas de lumière avant le lendemain après-midi. D’ailleurs très peu d’éclairage dans le coin cuisine, lequel est pauvrement équipé : une poêle où cuire 2 œufs au maximum, une cocotte aux anses en fonte (attention aux brûlures !), des couteaux qui ne coupent pas, un seul saladier… On entend très bien les grincements du lit à l’étage au-dessus… Nous avons demandé un séchoir à linge : ce fut un running gag, comme ils en ont apporté 3 pour 9 appartements, selon la politesse des hôtes, le nôtre fut au mieux partagé, au pire annexé. La piscine est assez sale : le système d’évacuation fonctionne par intermittence et charge aux hôtes de manier l’épuisette. Les transats ne doivent pas être nettoyés de tout l’été, résultat au mois d’août, ils sont sales.
