• Barquero (1/5): Pésimo - Servicio malo, falta de comunicación al decirte que si tienes el desayuno incluido y luego te toca pagar casi 20 mil Colones por un desayuno de 2 personas. Además nunca limpiaron la habitación, nunca cambiaron las toallas. En fin el servicio re malo
• Maria (6/5): Hotel Palmera Real-aguas termales - las piscinas muy bonitas, no estaban atestadas de gente asi que podian disfrutarse bien, el agua a buena temperatura (desde tibia a caliente). Las habitaciones tenian olor a humedad, y eso hacia muy incomoda la estadia. Las camas regular. Sabanas, toallas muy limpias y disponibles para hacer recambios, personal muy agradable.

• Verified traveler (2/5): - It was a mistake booking here. It's basically a cheap motel with hot springs that aren't hot. Thin walls and lots of noise. I was lucky to get a parking spot, but I arrived early. I hardly slept. There are lots of hot springs hotels nearby.

• Ginnie (10/5): - I enjoyed my stay, and that is actually a lot to say, about a hotel. Not any one particular thing, although the staff were excellent, both in their jobs and their attitudes. They even dealt with LaFortuna's Christmas crush with equilibrium. Returning is definitely on my agenda, although maybe not at Christmas next time.

• Juan (10/5): - Absolutely loved staying here it is more of a laidback and quiet property which was exactly what me and my wife were looking for. The springs are amazing. And overall it was just the ideal hotel for our laidback vacation.

• Derek (8/5): - Nice hot spring water pools. Top one is the warmest but you can still sit for a long period of time. Rooms are basic. Ours had a double and single bed with a nice bathroom and sitting area outside. Had to ask for a small refrigerator, but they provided one. No coffee pot, kettle, nor microwave. Private restaurant that's pretty good at the road, but not much else within walking distance.
• Vincent (6/5): Pleasant - Nice restaurant. Dirty ceilings. The location as shown on booking.com is wrong. The hotel is located about 4 km outside of LaFortuna. A scooter or car is recomended as Uber does not work good in this area.
• Mira (8/5): - Excellent beautiful property!! A great value for affordable price. We LOVED the Rainforest Cafe on site - food and drinks are wonderful and staff was lovely-- and the hot springs on site were also wonderful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. No frills but totally fine for 2 adults and 2 young kids. The staff were helpful. If you aren't fussy, this is a great place. One thing to consider is that if you don't have a car, it isn't walkable so youll need to call a taxi (nothing is too far though). Not a big deal but FYI. Amazing view of Arenal right in front of you at the restaurant.
• Anonymous (2/5): We left a day early without a refund because we were not comfortable at all. - Location was good. No cleaning of room. Expected to use the same towels for entire stay. Absolutely no customer service. Just not worth the $200 plus per night.
• James (2/5): - Bare essentials with room bed not made when entered. Management wouldn’t work with me on upgrading or canceling. Room painted a horrible green color. Not recommended.
• Graham (4/5): Give this place a miss. - Leaving There was no breakfast! The most spectacuar thing about this place was the name. Very dull basic motel. Far outside town. The hot springs were a dull chain of lukewarm pools. Very run down. Disappointing.
