- YOSSELY (10/5): Maravilloso - Buena atención, comida muy rica y exquisito paisaje.

- Andywoo1 (8/5): A very good choice for Santa Cruz - This is very solid choice for Santa Cruz. Location is great, rooms are spacious, great AC and it was hot so that mattered, generous with water and nice happy hour with free wine for a few hours , nice choices for breakfast though the process took time, the people who work here are truly hospitable and very kind
Only a few downsides, it is on a busy road so hard to go for much of a walk, and they were not very flexible for breakfast starting times - we needed to leave early but no option to have a slightly earlier breakfast

- moragf2025 (8/5): We liked it here and we’ve been to a few! - So I’m here again giving my reviews of hotels on our Chile tour! The welcome by George was fab and a lovely glass of very decent wine as a welcome drink hit the spot! We booked a room with a tub on the balcony. The room was great as was the view. The hotel needs a little upgrade outside but the rooms and the food was good and for the price it was good value. We’ve stayed in 4 hotels so far and this is our favourite for value for money and customer care. great stop over if heading south.
- Kathryn (10/5): Wonderful hotel with great staff large rooms. - Wonderful place to stay very quiet large room great staff. Restaurant food was delicious. Nothing
- Robert (9/5): Comfortable and characterful accommodation full of rustic charm - Comfortable and characterful accommodation full of rustic charm. Two swimming pools. Delightful outdoor eating area covered with vines. Good wine! Very helpful staff despite our language-barrier. Balconies have hot-tubs. Nothing much. Perhaps balconies could be a little more covered for additional privacy - but not a problem really.

- carlos (9/5): - Atención del personal , muy amables
- Jonathan (9/5): Peaceful and relaxing with a great location close to all the great wineries. Great staff. - Friendly staff. Comfortable and cozy smaller property. Nothing
- Daniel (3/5): Disappointing - Nice location, very friendly and accommodating staff Here is a message we left for the owner after we left:
Felipe, hi! We checked out this morning, and I want to share some candid feedback with you. Before doing so, I want to say that your service team is excellent, they are professional and attentive, every single one of them, and, despite language challenges, we found ways to communicate and address issues. There were MANY issues! We first checked into room 4 to find out that hot water didn’t work there. We were moved to room 8 as a result, and throughout our entire stay, hot water was at best sporadic and in most cases unavailable in the room! Traveling with a 4-month old, not having hot water is a huge issue for us. It is simply unacceptable! In addition, the bathroom smelled like sewage (!!!) and was not in great shape. For example, the toilet paper holder was barely connected to a wall and falling off (picture attached) and one of the sinks was constantly clogged (another picture). Hot water was mostly unavailable in both the shower and the faucets. This is not what you expect at any hotel, certainly not at a property that positions itself as luxury and charges $400/night!!! I would like to request a substantial refund for our troubles. Your team, which as I said was great, has been made aware of these issues throughout our stay, so this should come as no surprise. Thank you! Daniel

- Ligia (9/5): Bom custo benefício - Charmoso e no meio das vinhas. Localização
- citymusiclover (10/5): Relaxing retreat with gorgeous sunsets and lots of amenities - Excellent boutique hotel, tastefully decorated - good for either romantic getaway or for families. Loved having the on-site bar and restaurant, which had a large menu and was quite well prepared. Every day we enjoyed sunset with wine on the patio.
The amenities were great - two pools (one heated), pedal-powered go-carts, game room with pool and football, kids play area, access to a paddle court included. There were bikes, but the property wasn’t big enough to really make use of them and otherwise on a busy street with no shoulder and crazy drivers.
Breakfast was strong with fresh bread, pastries, made to order eggs, fresh fruit, fresh juice, meat and cheese. You can order to your room or eat in the restaurant or on the terrace.
We got the largest room type and had another bed added for a third person (was a real mattress). It still had space for a little table and two chairs also. Beds were comfortable, spacious bathroom. Mini fridge with drinks in the room. There is a unit for either heat or AC that worked well. The “jacuzzi” on the balcony is more of a bathtub that you need to fill up (takes awhile and not terribly hot). Toiletries were not great, considering bringing your own. No safe, but felt secure and no issue with leaving things in the room.
Overall we were so happy with our experience here. Very kind and helpful service from all the staff.
- Laurie (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful property on the outskirts of Santa Cruz. Close to many wineries. The facilities , pools, game rooms, and bikes provided us with lots of things to do. The food at the restaurant was large portions and very good. Lots of areas to dine and specifically in the outdoor patio with the water flowing in the roof was great..The staff was great, making us feel welcome and giving us recommendations for things to see.
The only negative were the curtains.
- Nathalia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gustavo (7/5): Good -
- Dan (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent breakfast. Prompt, complete and delicious

- Andrew (10/5): The highlight of our holiday, one of the nicest places we’ve stayed at - Everything. It’s beautiful and the new rooms are amazing.
The owner Filipe and. His staff are so friendly and helpful.
The food is exquisite and there’s free white wine every day until 5pm. We didn’t eat anywhere else as it’s so good there.
It’s very close to the town of Santa Cruz as well as being close to plenty of local vineyards.
We can’t wait to go back, it was the highlight of our holiday. Nothing, it was perfect
- John (10/5): Wonderful property with an excellent restaurant very warm pool . - Amazing modern room with all glass . Wonderful staff (Daniel !) and owner , Felipe . Super warm pool was a bonus ! Nice loungers and view to relax . Restaurant was a surprise , not just good , excellent ! Ate there all 3 nights . Thanks , would stay again . Nothing , all good .
- Alvaro (8/5): Excellets rooms, kind and well prepared staff, good location, outstanding kitchen. Reception area needs to be improved - Very good rooms Reception place needs an upgrade
- Semih (8/5): Very good - Location and staff
- Alison (10/5): beautiful and inviting boutique hotel - Wow! What an incredible place. Beautiful boutique hotel with incredible, attentive service and really good food and drinks. You never have to leave if you don't have to! 2 beautiful pools, spacious rooms with a hot tub on a balcony overlooking a vineyard. Full service restaurant and bar, you can get your breakfast or dinner served in your room if you don't want to leave. Free bottle of wine at the pool everyday! Great location as well - you can borrow bikes for free and ride into town or to a couple of vineyards. The owner, Felipe, was so incredibly nice and generous. When we couldn't find a ride back from a vineyard, he came and got us himself. 10/10 recommend! A minor suggestion is to get a couple more lounge chairs around the pool. A sign that this is a place everyone wants to spend all day at! Other than that, everything was super perfect!
- James (10/5): Exceptional - Had a great stay and the owners and staff could not had been more helpful. They help set up some fantastic wine tours and tastings. The rooms were big, well equipped, clean and we loved the outdoor hot tub. Would definitely recommend.
- Yasmin (10/5): Exceptional -
- ral2va (10/5): Fantastic staff & wonderful stay - We loved our stay here, so peaceful and quiet – especially coming from the noise of Santiago. The staff was top-notch, every single person was happy to help, and if English is a concern there is always somewhere there who is fluent in English. The breakfast (included) was delicious and can be brought to your room for no extra charge or you can enjoy it on the beautiful vine-covered patio. The dinners were fantastic, especially when the chef was grilling outside (we loved the tuna & grilled mixed vegetables). The warm pool was close to 90 degrees F when we were in it on a sunny day with the glass doors closed. Definitely get the room with the bath on the deck, taking a hot bath on our deck while watching the stars sparkle over the vineyard was a highlight of our trip. Need to mention again how wonderful the staff are here!
- Jose (9/5): Superb -
- Alejandro (9/5): Loved it. Great place - would definitely recommend! - Pools, rooms and staff were great! Cleanliness of the heated pool could be better
- Pauline (10/5): Hotel Parronales is the perfect base for exploring the Colchagua Valley. - The rooms at Hotel Parronales are a fantastic value. The staff was kind enough to decorate the room for my partner's birthday, which we truly appreciated. Our room included an outdoor jacuzzi tub overlooking the vines. The bathroom & sleeping area were large and comfortable, and the rate included a full breakfast. The hotel also offers hot and cold outdoor pools, which we really enjoyed. We loved every aspect of our stay & had no complaints!
- Mike (9/5): Relaxed and personal stay - Very personal feeling, it’s a lovely place Was hard to find as google maps shows it in 2 different locations.
- marivinera (10/5): Top service and views - There is nothing bad to say about this hotel. From check in we were treated like family. We were offered couple of beers while checking in and got recommendations for places to in town. Once we saw our room it was hard decision to leave! We had a jacuzzi in our balcony overlooking the vineyard! We spent hours just enjoying the views. We were celebrating anniversary plus my husband's birthday. So they had a bottle of sparkling wine and roses waiting for us in our room. Breakfast was an amazing buffet, with eggs cooked to order. The patio is under a parronal were you can enjoy morning coffee or afternoon drinks.
Note: this experience was right at the start of the pandemic so we didn't have to social distance. The place has big enough grounds to permit distancing
- MichoAndres (10/5): Absolute Relax In Santa Cruz - By far the best option in Hotel in Santa Cruz . The staff are freindly and have many assertive opinions in tours and where to go in the colchagua valley wine scene . The Rooms are 5 star . The beds incredible . Recomend 100%
- JMiller1982 (10/5): Excellent, recently renovated hotel - This place is great, especially the new addition with updated rooms. Felipe is a great host and gives excellent advice on wineries to visit and helping set up transportation. Highly recommend this place, you won't be disappointed!
- michy_miller (10/5): Perfect hotel for a wine trip - This was a great little hotel for a trip to the Colchagua Valley! The first night we stayed there we stayed in one of the older rooms, which was definitely a little dated but still nice enough. On the second two nights we were able to move to one of the brand new rooms which are beautiful. They each have balconies overlooking the pool/vineyard and their own little hot tubs which were nice to relax in in the evenings. My husband and I are definitely planners, so we had all of our winery visits planned in advance, but if you aren't, Felipe is wonderful at setting that up for you (along with transportation). He actually looked at our itinerary and made a few changes. We were glad he did because one of our favorite wineries of the trip (Maquis) was one of the ones he added at the last minute. This hotel is also very close to two great restaurants, and not far from town. I highly recommend a stay here. We'd love to come back!
- Relax427403 (10/5): Beautiful room and Felipe is a fantastic host - The new rooms are gorgeous and the setting is beautiful. What really made the trip was the help we got from Felipe (the owner). He spent a lot of time setting us up on wine tours, securing drivers, and recommending restaurants (even calling ahead to warn a restaurant owner that a vegetarian was on the way). We had a fantastic time and were sorry to leave.
- twinblues (10/5): Best Hotel in Santa Cruz - Located on a quiet street and section of town , not too far from the town center. The hotel is very charming and we stayed in a brand new wing just built recently with outdoor hot tub for each room. One of the best things about the hotel is the hospitality of the owner, Felipe, who makes it a priority to welcome his guests. He knows everyone in town and can recommend restaurants and activities. There’s no need to to book expensive tours he’ll help with getting transportation and seeing all the important sights/wineries in the valley at no cost.
- KarenandKenholiday (10/5): Lovely rooms, fantastic host. Thanks Felipé. - A relaxing place to stay with easy access to restaurants and wineries...but what sets this place apart is the care and attention of Felipé who goes above and beyond to make sure you’re happy.
We stayed in the new rooms with private hot-tubs which were lovely. The views from all rooms are pretty, across gardens and vines.
As a non-Spanish speaker Felipé was fantastic arranging wine tours, horse riding and wonderful restaurant recommendations/bookings etc.
Would definitely recommend staying here.
- jeanroque (10/5): Wonderful experience! - We had such an amazing stay at Hotel Parronales. Felipe is stellar host. Each morning taking time to discover what our hopes were for the day and then mapping out and making arrangements as needed. We were fortunate to stay in one of their new rooms which was so pleasant with a balcony and large window facing the estate’s vineyard.
- boby265 (10/5): Amazing stay - The host Felipe was incredibly welcoming, articulate and interesting (and speaks perfect english). He helped us plan wine tours, gave us useful information about Santa Cruz and on the last day when I wasn’t well went out of his way to make me comfortable, offering snacks, cups of tea etc. Also a generally very interesting guy to chat to and always available to help if we needed anything.
A special thanks as well to one of the other staff, Andres, who directed me to the best bar in Santa Cruz for English football!
The new rooms with private hot tubs are incredible and well worth it.
