- Jennifer (9/5): - This is a quiet, very well kept building with individual rooms, shared bath, and good size kitchen in a multicultural setting with very close proximity to Hyde Park, Regents Park, Cricket and other London attractions. The other travelers were super friendly and helpful. The only thing I would recommend is changing the locks to make them more user-friendly.

Really great place to start and end your day. All was positive, but it is just a house, so I can't exactly rate it super high like a hotel or anything.

Conveniently located close to bus stop, underground station and supermarket. Monika, the staff you get in touch by message app, is very responsive, friendly and attentive. - mikhail (10/5): Very good stay in the area close to the central parts of London. - I had a very good stay at London Marylebone Grendon rooms. Location is perfect for tourist trip. Apartment is very close to all major points of interests. I used underground (tube) only first three days. Instead of walking to metro station 10...15 min - I began to take bases to travel to most of museums and galleries. Bus 139 stop is just around the corner and bus goes thru all central points of London. Much cheaper than underground. Apartment has large well-organized kitchen with two big refrigerators, all amenities to cook and washer / dryer pair which I could use any time, all detergents being provided. So, you can take minimum amount of change clothes and wash them daily if you want. Rooms have drying frames so if you do not want to use dryer - you can dry clothes overnight. Kitchen has door to medium size enclosed area outside so you can have your meal around the table outside, which is nice in fall weather. I lived in ROOM 3 with separate bathroom and balcony. That was good because I stayed for three weeks. Room was warm and it is easy to control temperature of wall unit. Cleaning crew was cleaning kitchen, collected garbage and added supply on regular basis. Also, I met many people who stayed in other rooms, mostly 3...5 days stays and they all were very nice people from different countries. The host is very helpful, all requests were answered almost immediately, and we communicated via WhatsApp very often, Overall, I had a very good experience and I think, for the money I paid - I had a very good stay. I would add small vacuum in the room for guests who stay long. I could clean my room once or twice a week.
- Norma (10/5): Perfect room in a perfect location, thank you so much - Best of all was the support from Monika, as I had messed up my booking (I booked twice, entirely my fault, but she noticed before I arrived and cancelled one without charge), and she also helped me figure out the lock. I liked the quietness of the area and the room (quiet cul-de-sac on one side and a small park closed at night on the other) everything was spotlessly clean and I think newly decorated. Facilities were as described, the kitchen had basic supplies (tea, sugar, oil etc), even access to a shared patio. The bed was comfy, the shared toilet/shower opposite was clean and shared with only 1 other room. It's about a 5-10 minute walk to Marylebone tube/rail station, on the Bakerloo line which will take you right into central London. I walked 'home' late at night (after 11) and felt safe as woman on my own; there are also bike hire stations nearby. An explanation of how the lock works to those of us not used to it: press the lock button, then code, then lock button again, then turn the lock to unlock or lock the door. Simple when you know how!

Small but suitable for a solo traveler. - Excellent location: you can get to the center of London within 10min by (e-)bike or 20min by public transport. The neighborhood is silent enough that you can sleep with the windows open. The guest house is kept very clean, and all the expected facilities are there. Comfortable bed, slept really well. The room is very small. That said, it is perfectly fine for a solo traveler. When I booked it it was a little pricy but so is any accommodation in central London.

I love my staying place to be neat and the property delivered that. It’s nice that it is equipped with TV and excellent wifi service! Monika is very cooperative and willing to help with whatever she can do which was making me feel taken care of, that felt great. I actually didn’t hear anything after 10 pm like others were saying in the comments and had a good rest at night. I just wished that the house was a bit closer to a main street. The room is smaller than it looked in the pictures but serves the purpose well since I was out most of the time. I also thought that the bathroom was connected to the room for a smoother experience but discovered that from the comments later on so I wasn’t sad much about it.

The room was incredibly cramped, and the "private" bathroom was so small it was barely usable. The entire experience was deeply disturbing and I had to cut my trip short after only two days. The host was helpful, but that couldn't compensate for the unsanitary and uncomfortable conditions. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

However, depending on the individual preferences, it offers good value for money. After checking in the first night, I wanted to change the booking and the host was extremely generous and considered my situation. Kitchen and other amenities were also excellent. The place has many rooms and multiple floors so its better to know the exact room at the time of booking.

- Karina (8/5): Nice guesthouse, good value for money - Nice and clean guesthouse within a few kilometres from Oxford street, close to Baker street. Around 10 minutes walk to nearest underground station. The area is very quiet and safe I would recommend to add a non-slip bath mat to bath as it was slippery. Not everyone is having a good reaction and balance to avoid falling down. And bath handle is not always helpful in such cases.

The whole place is small and has three levels ~2 rooms at every floor. The walls are very thin, so you can hear every single time people open and close their doors, especially those who had bathroom in separate room. location is a bit far from center so if you wanna experience the heart of london, its better to spend more money for a more central location, because trasport in london is complicated (for newbies) and takes a lot of time to get from one point to another. No blender in the kitchen

Would definitely recommend it! The location is in a quiet street, not far from the tube and just a beautiful walk away from Regent's Park.
- Aleksandra (7/5): Great stay, will come again! - Clean, very helpful and friendly staff, all the necessary things provided (hairdryer, shampoo, horse-legs, washing machine, fridge), most importantly digital locks that work excellent. I had a private bathroom, that was also very convenient. I would definitely stay there again and prefer this kind of accommodation to a hotel. Acoustics in the house, you can hear other tenants in the house extremely well, and tenants from other doors too, which can be really annoying.
- Yuri (5/5): It ok for the budget! - The place is just about a mile and a half from London Paddington which is great, and there are buses running just opposite the building. The neighborhood seems to be quiet, except for the noise sometimes on the house next door, people talking too loud and the construction works which is ongoing on the other building. I was told that linen change would cost me 50 pounds, so for 5 days I could manage. The place looks clean, as opposed to what others were saying, including the toilets which had toilet papers but no shower gel, had to purchased them myself. Overall, it’s ok if you are on a budget, but bear in mind that the room is only for one adult only, too small.

The mattress was ancient, should have been replaced years ago. The local residents were arguing, screaming and setting off fireworks till midnight and later 3 out of the 6 nights I stayed there.

Met other guests there which I liked. My room was equipped with a large closet and a balcony, I liked the floor in my room and the wooden stairs in the house. Monika was great and came to install the TV in my room. Everything was clean and the bathroom shower door prevented water from splashing on the floor. I was hoping that the terrace outside the kitchen would be swept then it would have been great. I didn't like the carpets in the bathroom and I would have liked more towels.

The kitchen is big and practical. The small yard is nice to take a bit a sun. The bathroom was well maintained. The place wasn't so clean (door handles, drawers, furnitures) in the room and in the kitchen. I arrived at the place with no information or explanation, I was lucky the cleaning lady was their but I had to contact someone to have the number of my room. The building is not wel isolated so it can be cold when the weather is humid and windy or hot when their a bit of sun. When my neighboor was arriving in his room my bed was moving and I could hear him talking almonst as if he was in my room cause the walls are so thin. The bathroom is really small. The kitchen smell like food a lot. The neighboorhoud (marylebone) is nice but the block were the flat is located is not very nice. You can here peolpe screem for your room and from the street. It looked safe even to come back late at night though. I was disaponted of the experience compared to the price. Be careful cause the web site you find in google with the name of the establishment is a luxury bed and breakfast ... So very different...

A few nights the neighbors were yelling out front and it felt a bit unsafe. The area is fenced in so it was frustrating if you had to leave earlier or get back later than whatever time they locked up the pedestrian gates and have to find a new route to the flat.
- Albert (10/5): - It is good value for money. It is not the best area and the rooms are quite small but for the closeness to the centre of London and the money per day, it is good value for money. You are unlikely to get better for less.
- Valentina (10/5): Luxury on a budget - The staff responds immediately, the property is unbelievable clean, it provides more then just the basic necessities and it is a good place for longer stays.The location is not really the best but it is just at the limit. A big street market takes place every day right across the street from the building. The house does not look so great on the outside, but once inside, everything is super neat and tidy. The online reservation, especially for an extension of the stay, is not so clear. Even though they had rooms available, online everything was sold out.
- Branislav (8/5): More than OK. - I am very satisfied with the price-quality-location ratio. I'm not used to staying in this way, I'm used to hotels, this time the budget forced me to experiment and - I'm satisfied. What's important in London - the tube is close: Marylebone and Baker street, so you can easily and quickly get anywhere you want (it's not bad to draw the route on a map and have it with you, the first day, two - the way from the tube station to the apartment is like a maze - but it's really close). The room is clean, the toilet and the bathroom are more than OK (room No 4, I was there), a small problem with the internet - to connect - you have to be very close to the router, so I connected with the phone and connected the laptop via the hot spot . But - the connection is otherwise completely OK. The room with the bathroom is much better than the situation around the entrance and corridor/stairs, but overall - I recommend it. Well, I would recommend the owners to simplify the connection to the Internet (it's too secretive, you have to look on the ceiling of the stairs and read the password from the modem, there's probably no reason for that) and you should put on the table in the room a note with a User name and password. Also, since it's a shared kitchen (which is completely OK) perhaps it would be possible to put a kettler in the room. and thus make it possible to make tea, Ness coffee, etc. It is not a big investment, but it is still more comfortable for the guest to have it in the room than to go to the shared kitchen. I didn't research enough, maybe there is a kettler somewhere in the closet?

- Cristina (7/5): Supere location next to bus and underground. Tidy and comfortable. - We had the room in the ground floor with the bathroom infront of the room. Everything was tidy and we got all the towels we needed and had enough space for our things. The house is near a bus station going to Baker Street in a few minutes and also near the Marylebone station. Supermarket was also nearby. The street is really quiet, so you can sleep with an open window. The price is very good for London, regarding that it is well situated, you have your own bathroom (even if not on-suite) and you can use the kitchen. The kitchen utensils are quite elementary. It is ok for warming some pre-cooked food, or for preparing breakfast, but not for real cooking. Coming back to the flat after 9:00 pm means walking along a very lonely street, since the gates through the walk-through park will already be closed.
- Juan (9/5): Great stay. Very recommended. - The location was great. The kitchen is well-equipped and always clean. Communication with the landlord was easy and very effective. Common areas were also very clean. Sometimes neighbours were too noisy. The bathroom was in a separate room, implying that one must get out of the bedroom to a common area and then get into the restroom.

- Mark (6/5): Somewhat acceptable considering the cost - Very clean room. Lots of closet space. Decent garden view & small balcony. Foot noise from the floor above when trying to sleep. Did not feel safe in Immediate area after dark. No TV. One bath towel for 7 days. Some building noise heard & vibration felt from a pump or motor for 5 seconds at a time but irregular in operation. Prevented decent sleep. Bed could be improved upon & pillows very thin.

- Ann (8/5): - This property was more like a hostel than a hotel, which is what I expected when I made the reservation. But I loved having a full kitchen to use, laundry on-site. Most rooms had a private, but adjoining the room, not en suite. My room was the largest, and did have an en suite bathroom. Cleaning only prior to arrival, and my stay was 2 weeks. But I liked the diverse, family oriented (therefore it felt safe), and the proximity to many transportation options, including a short walk to 2 underground stations, and numerous bus routes. And even though the property manager wasn't on-site, she was very accessible.
- Veronica (10/5): Much more than my expectations. - It was extremely comfortable, very clean. Quiet and tranquil. Close to amenities and beautiful walks.

- Hadia (10/5): Perfect Home for our london stay! - I must say this was the most pleasant experiences we have had with booking. The place, the cleanliness , the communication, the proximity of location and mostly importantly Monica! Monica has been one of the main highlights of the stay. She is very good at making sure all is good despite not having met her in person I felt like I knew her!. I really recommend booking with her and the room! I will definitely come back and stay there and tell all my friends :) nothing!

- Anna (8/5): Very good - I really liked staying in Marylebone Grendon. The room was quite big, I was happy to have my own hairdryer, towels and access to the bathroom (although it was outside the room, next door). The kitchen was also well-equipped. The location is described properly, I enjoyed it and didn't have any problems getting to the other parts of London. It was great to have a breakfast in the Regents Park, which was really close. 10mins to the undergroud station on foot is also not that bad, bus stops were closer. The host is really nice and helpfull, it's really easy to get in touch with her. I definitely recommend staying there!. The only thing I would say was not that great was the cleaning. In my room there was a lot of dust on the window sill and there were some bugs in the bathroom.
- Jose (10/5): Great stay, with very good attention from the host. - The house was very clean. Instructions to get there and get in were clear and easy to follow. If the kitchen window is not close, it could be a bit risky since the garden has a broken door and people can easily get it.
- Polina (6/5): Clean but tiny. - Everything was clean no issues, people were respectful and friendly. Location is good, relatively easy to get everywhere. I almost didn't use the kitchen, but it is definitely possible, and it has a nice area to seat outside too. The room is on the 3rd floor. The room itself Is very tiny - if you have large suitcase, its not convenient. In the summer all heat goes up, so you can feel when you go up the stairs how second floor is much better in comparison with the third floor. On top of that, there was thick comforter. It is summer, after all, but there was no additional bedsheet to sleep under. I didn't like that property asked for email, and texted me on what's up saying that's they can't send the instructions though booking, and they need my personal email to send it, saying that they can't send it that way. But I am a person who prefers as little communication as possible, as it should be efficient - I think about bookings/ reservations twice -when I book and when I arrive, and I believe all I need is address and info that was provided though the booking. In the future, I would definitely be interested to book this property again, but not the room on the third floor.
- Reginald (1/5): We may have been given the worst room because they had to pay the fee to bookings.com. - The location was excellent. The kitchen was well designed and pleasant. Seemed much larger than our bedroom which was the garage converted to the bedroom. Bedroom was well designed for the small size. The manager was responsive but I don't think she has seen the place. Just manages remotely as we had the worst room and horrible toilet/bath with a tiny wash basin. The advertisement stated we would occupy the entire ground floor. Our room was on the ground floor but it was the garage converted to a bedroom. Filthy carpet and tiny bathroom/toilet across the hallway - quite dirty. The closet space and shelving was adequate and better than expected - cannot say the same for the rest of the room. The photographs and description did not state the toilet/shower would be across the hallway. Horrible first impression - see photos of garage.
- David (8/5): Nice, clean and confortable place - The room it was very clean, in order and plenty of spaces to put your clothes/ stuffs and natural light. With its own terrace where you can rest. I really like it. The Underground closest station is about 10 minutes. But I always took bikes and I really enjoyed.

- Richard (4/5): I enjoy London regardless of drawbacks. - Good hot water. It is rare that I offer my subjective opinions but I think the description given for my room was creative deception - which annoys me. "Private bathroom" entailed crossing the main entrance hallway to a small locked facility! "View" was a frosted window looking out at the small entry area where a motor cycle was parked! "Outdoor dining" was an unkempt yard with a round metal table and no chairs! It was not the most convenient location but I thought the described amenities would compensate. MY MISTAKE ! Certainly not worth almost $1,000.
- Solène (8/5): Great value for money, relatively central! - Great contact with Monika, the area feels safe and is not too far from the Underground (Marylebone, Baker Street). I had the double bed room, which was on the ground floor and was practical. Everything was very clean and the bed sheets smelled nice. It tends to be loud depending on who is present upstairs (it was particularly loud at the beginning of the stay, with a child? but then they left and it got way better). Also, the bathroom is just outside the room (but closes with a key so it’s just for you).

I stayed for 10 days and for 10 days my room was not cleaned. The room is a little smaller than it looks in the photos. It met my expectations as I only went to sleep.

Monika is amazing and always available to reach out. The place feels like a home, you can find everything you need, the kitchen also provides all the necessary stuff. - Complete (5/5): A good budget hotel, area could be better parking available but its expensive. - The accommodation was nice, clean and comfortable - the owner was really was welcoming.. The only thing letting it down was the area, it didn't feel very safe. I was worried about leaving our vehicle parked at the property, even though it cost an extra £20 per night.

- Paul (7/5): Good - Nice location, nice room, kitchen has everything you may need. The host was available and responsive, despite my late arrival. The mattress of my room definitely needs to be changed. It feels old and has a very uncomfortable and deeply sunken centre. While I was lucky not to have any issue in this regard during most of my stay, the last night revealed to me how thin the walls could be when my newly arrived neighbour was learning how to use keys. Couldn't sleep at all from 8h onwards upon his/her arrival as he/she couldn't stop making noise. Had no issues with the other residents however, who all were kind.
- Ludmila (10/5): We had a really lovely time, would gladly recommend this place to friends. Homely, quiet, convenient - Everything was tidy, the neighbourhood felt safe and quiet. While it is not exactly central, transportation to and from the area is both convenient and fast. The kitchen is well equipped with all the necessities and then some. Monika was very nice and considerate. The heating worked great, and hot water was available instantly. Even though there were other guests in the house, we had a lot of privacy, only meeting said guests in the kitchen, which was a nice common area. The room has a table and a single chair, so at times we borrowed an additional chair from the kitchen and ate in our room privately. Initially, when making the reservation, we didn't realize that the private bathroom would be disconnected from the room (meaning you'd have to to exit the room and cross a corridor to enter said bathroom with a key). Nor did we realize that the refrigerator would be in the common kitchen (albeit clearly marked with specific shelves for specific rooms). With that said, in the end it all worked out great, these factors were not, in any way, detrimental to the overall experience, So for those who are considering the double room, this might be something to keep in mind, however don't let said factors dissuade you from making the reservation as honestly, for us at least, the experience was very much frictionless.

- Mariah (9/5): Will definitely come back when I’m in London. - Everything was really clean and organized, the house is at an excellent location, close to several stations, grocery stores and restaurants and has a really nice backyard. Monika is also a great host! I recommend 10/10.
- Timo (6/5): Terrible mattress, old furniture. - Very quick in responding to emails. 1.) The mattress was terrible! Totally worn out and very uncomfortable to sleep in. Urgently needs to be changed! The desk and chair were also old and looked as if they had been discarded by former owners. 2.) The bathroom was not directly accessible from the room. Had to cross through the public staircase to get to it. This was not clear from the advertisement of the offer. It needs to be clearly stated! 3.) There was confusion after booking. The accommodation asked me to pay a deposit although I had already paid the full amount upfront via booking. I refused to pay anything extra. Not sure if and how I would have gotten it back had I paid. 4.) Whle there is very little car traffic outside, you'll constantly hear people in other rooms and in the staircase.
