• Ghali (10/5): Yacobian building great stay - I would like to say special thank you to the kindest receptionist who waited for us and welcomed us moreover, she organized our tours and transportation in cairo . the apartment iteslf was in perfect location in center of Cairo "Talaat Harb" . everything was perfect from the moment of arrival till we left . don't get a shock by the entrance . it's just Cairo

It felt less like staying in a rental and more like having a local friend looking out for me. Between that top-tier service and the apartment's classic high ceilings and vintage charm, I felt right at home in the middle of all the city's hustle and bustle. • Mariana (10/5): Very good location to downtown, very supportive reception staffs, Overall good apartment, - A very nice place in Cairo. The appartment was nice and cumfortable. The kitchen did the job and the location nearby downtown Cairo was the opportunity for a good immersion within the heart of the town.The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. the appliances in the kitchen also worked properly.

• Susan (6/5): - Location Spacious apartment The apartment was a bit run down and would benefit from maintenance and more equipment in kitchen, although the host did offer to get us things that we might need. Delivered us a few simple things that we requested, like knives, water glasses and bowls. More attention to emails and what's app messages with prompt replies could be improved. Not as good as the photos indicated, but there were certainly plenty of beds, although we were only a couple.

• Kai Ting (1/5): Scam! Don’t come! - Scam! Don’t come! Scam! Don’t come! They will just tell you an excuse and change the location to somewhere else, other apartment that wasn’t the one you booked. The staff was like “take it or leave it”, not willing to solve the problems that they make, and even tried to trick me to press the cancel reservation button (but this property is non-refundable, so you know how this attempt is). The apartment is crap and old, very noisy from the street all night long. There were still so many problems and the staff sucks. Just don’t come, you will waste a lot of time dealing with those con-men.

The staff was like “take it or leave it”, not willing to solve the problems that they make, and even tried to trick me and took my phone to press the cancel reservation button (but this property is non-refundable, so you know how this attempt is). The toilet doors locks people in, you can’t get out, and the apartment is crap and old. Until we said we will call the tourist police, they finally said they will try to get us an apartment with the correct facilities. Even so, there were still so many problems and the staff sucks. Just don’t come, you will waste a lot of time dealing with those con-men.

• Benjamin (1/5): - Location It has nothing to do with the photos, so old, not maintained at all. It was so cold, AC was not heating at all. They only left 1 small heater for a huge apartment. It was overall not so clean, not even towels were left for us. We had to ask for it.

• Mohamed (3/5): We do not recommend it for families. - The apartment is in a lively area and conveniently located near many shops and restaurants. However, it did not match the description on Booking.com. It was listed as having two bathrooms, but in reality, it only had one full bathroom and one half bathroom. As a family of five, sharing one shower was extremely difficult. We contacted the agent, who apologized and offered to move us to a different apartment in another location. After visiting the new place, we didn’t like it at all. Additionally, moving wasn’t practical—we had already carried all our luggage up to the fifth floor, and the elevator was very small, making the process stressful and inconvenient. We booked this apartment during a very hot week in August and specifically requested air conditioning. The apartment has three large bedrooms, and big hall but none of the AC units were working when we arrived. Someone was sent to fix them, but the repair was not successful. The units leaked water continuously for four days, and we had to mop the floors repeatedly. On top of that, none of the AC remotes worked—we had to turn the units on and off manually with a stick. Most importantly, we found two rats inside the apartment, running from one area to another. This was extremely disturbing, especially for our children. My daughters were scared the entire time and kept their bedroom door closed because of the rats. This apartment was quite expensive, and we chose it mainly for its location, but overall we were very disappointed. We absolutely do not recommend it—especially for families with children.

• Jehan (10/5): - الشقة في موقع حيوي وسط البلد بجوار جميع الخدمات والاسواق والمطاعم مثل كرم الشام وجاد وابو لبن على بعد دقائق مشي وقريبة من مسجد المغربي على بعد دقائق , الشقة واسعة ونظيفة ومجهزة بشكل جيد وكافية لعائلة كبيرة , المضيفة نجوى انسانة اكثر من رائعة عند وجود اي مشكلة تتولى حلها بسرعة , عمال النظافة والحراسة بالعمارة لطفاء ومحترمين وساعدونا كثيرا الشقة كبيرة ولانها مصممة لعائلة كبيرة فالافضل ان يحتوي الحمام الثاني على رأس دوش للاغتسال لان وجود مكان واحد للاغتسال في وجود حمامين و3 غرف نوم غير كافي , غرفة النوم الثالثة تشترك مع غرفة التلفزيون وتحتاج الى وجود فاصل بينهما لتجنب الازعاج

• Simon (9/5): A convenient base for our trips around Cairo with enough space to relax between excursions - The host was very helpful and was in regular contact ahead of check-in. It was pretty easy to find and there are lots of shops and places to eat in the local area. There was a last minute change in apartment due to electrical issues (very common in Egypt, I think) but the alternative was spacious and met our needs.

• Yen-hung (10/5): Wonderful choice in center of Cairo to explore the city - We had a fantastic stay at Royal Apartment in Talaat Harb. Our group loved how spacious and comfortable it was, with plenty of room to relax. The location in Downtown Cairo was perfect, close to shops, restaurants, and the metro. , the host, was very helpful and gave great recommendations. The apartment had comfortable beds, good Wi-Fi, and a nice balcony view. . Overall, it was a great choice for a large group, and we would stay here again.
• Michail (9/5): THE BEST HOSTESS EVER - I will just say a name ! NAGWA, our hostess ! She was just perfect. Days before our arrival she made us feel so safe and comfortable. She organised for us almost everything and she was always available to give us information about Cairo. I cannot thank her much. When you go to a trip the people you meet is the most important. She always answered us immediately about everything we needed and made us feel so unique. The location of the apartment is perfect. The area is safe in the middle of the center, so many shops and reastaurants around for our needs and very close to the metro station. The apartment is sooo big and comfortable for a 7 people group and very quite even though its in the middle of the city center. Do not hesiate to book this apartment if you need something on a budget in the middle of Cairo. Cant wait to go back. THANKS NAGWA for making this trip an unforgettable experience. the facilities of the apartment need a bit renovation.
• Ebersohl-van (10/5): Exceptional - Honestly, this was one of the best places we have ever stayed. The host and all of the door attendants were exceptionally welcoming, kind, and helpful. The host would respond within minutes of any questions we had, and the attendants at the front helped us several times with the elevator and taxis. You are located in the heart of Cairo and near so many amazing food and coffee places. Khali El Khan Souk is just a 10 minute walk, Karam el Sham is a 2 minute walk. You can easily get anywhere and do anything and wat all the best food. The apartment was spotless and so clean, and we even had a chance to use the clothes washer and hang our clothes dry and were so happy to leave with clean clothes. The balcony had beautiful views and was perfect for relaxing in the evening air. We will absolutely return, and without a doubt, we will stay here again. I cannot wait to return! Thank you for all of your hospitality and generosity!
• Dawid.rowerowy (10/5): Exceptional - We eventually got another apartment (sun homes Tahrir square) but close to this and very similar in terms of size. The apartment was very spacious, clean, had everything that was needed for stay. Great localization with shops, restaurants and tourist place very close. However the brightest thing was the hospitality and kindness of Nagwa, who had helped us and assisted during the whole stay. She organised taxi, Nile Tour, was always ready to help and to get us everything that we wanted. Truly a great person and she made our stay in Cairo unforgettable. Can only recommend this to everyone - it wad a great place to spend evenings after eventful egyptian days. Nothing.

From the 5th of December, the location is just perfect, close to all the main attractions you absolutely have to see. The accommodation is super spacious. A huge shoutout to our wonderful host, Nagwa, for her outstanding hospitality. And let's not forget about the internet service - it's simply the best, super fast and reliable. I'll be beyond happy! Further examination of the restroom facilities is imperative.

• Niklas (8/5): Very good - The place is located right in the centre of Cairo, you have direct access to a lot of Street markets and many sights such as the (old) Egyptian Museum are very close. Perfect to discover Cairo . The rooms and the place in general is quite spacious. There was a little misunderstanding with our arrival day which caused a bit confusion but at the end we met at the right day. In one of the bedrooms the AC was not working (next to the little balcony) but we got a fan to vent in some fresh air from the main room.
• Ibtissem (4/5): Disappointing - I was disappointed at my arrival with my kids and 3 luggages at 4am after a long days of flights and transit. The girl i was in contact with was supposed to tell me how to get the keys. At the entrance of the building i called like 6 times, didn’t answer the phone she over slept. The entrance to the building is miserable but that didn’t matter. The house inside is big but extremely dusty , everything you touch felt like oily. I cleaned the shelves of the closet to put the clothes and cleaned the bathroom first thing in the morning but all the cleaning tools were miserable and needed to be clean. After 3 days a guy from the electricity company knocked the door and told me to pay 2300 Egp otherwise he will turn off the electricity immediately. Day 4 we were cooking pasta in the middle of it the gas bomb was empty . All of these should be taken care off before the arrival of the guest. Even though it didn’t take time for things to be fixed but i lost alot of energy and fone calls to ask the to fix problems, especially for the price i paid. This house is extremely overpriced. The girl on WhatsApp proposed a lift for 20$ from airport to the apartment. Don’t take it it it 10 times cheaper with indrive or a normal taxi. In my opinion she should have helped us get a good price or ask us to take indrive from airport.
• William (8/5): Peace, quiet, and a great host in a large fifth floor apartment within a busy neighborhood - After going through the initial shock you will likely feel if you are unaccustomed to the chaos in Cairo, you will find an oasis in the apartment itself. While the streets are bustling with activity, you can find peace and quiet once you go into the apartment. The ceilings are high, the rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are reliable. The ACs cool the rooms well. The interior certainly matched the pictures. WiFi was reliable. We asked for two additional keys and Nagwa kindly fulfilled this request for no additional cost. When we arrived, Nagwa received us with incredible hospitality. She welcomed us with complimentary snacks and juices. She kindly performed a walkthrough the rooms to ensure everything was up to our expectations. Check out was very smooth. Nagwa’s generosity bloomed once more as she kindly provided us more snacks and juices for the journey back to the airport. One of the room’s air conditioners did not work. Nagwa had already provided a standing fan as a remedy and kindly procured a second one when we asked for it. While we would have appreciated a proactive notification about the state of this room’s AC, Nagwa’s problem solving was duly appreciated. The first impression of the lobby/ground floor of the apartment may come as a shock to you. The elevator, while not as ancient as the pyramids, definitely demonstrates its history. Also, there is always a man standing guard of the elevator (24/7, they even have a bed). When we arrived, we had trouble explaining that we were guests in our very limited Arabic, but once Nagwa arrived, everything was straightened out.

• Chole (10/5): The best stay choice in Yacobian building - The apartment is very specious and super clean. We were welcomed by young man who was helpful.it has classic and modern design at the same time. TV was big and we enjoyed the living room Location is amazing and in the middle of downtown. The building turned out to be historically and called Yacobian building.
