Guest Reviews
- Stanley (7/5): Lovely Villa, Stunning Views - The villa was relatively clean, the pool water was clean, although the pool around the edge definitely could do with a really good clean. The tiles were rather discoloured. The water was extremely cold, in fact it was that cold that i was unable to use it as my body is unable to cope with cold water of that magnitude as it makes my body go stiff & I'm unable to breathe. Even my 2 daughters found it very cold. After 15 minutes in the pool, they got out & their fingers & toes had turned blue. The air temperature was hot but the pool was very definitely too cold to actually cool down in because you literally froze!
The villa was much higher up than I anticipated & a car is an absolute must. The views from the villa are stunning, but it is a very long drive up winding mountain roads with sheer drops & only a guard rail on some bends. It takes approximately 45 minutes to drive from Paphos harbour to the villa, but this can take longer when you're not prepared for the mountain roads & it's dark.
When entering the road to the villa, you need to drive over the ramp/bump onto the far right-hand side & you must drive very slowly. Otherwise, the bottom of your car scrapes over the bump. I literally tried every part of the ramp in which to go over without doing damage & that's how I found that, when entering the rd you must go slowly over the far right & when leaving, its on the far left hand side. If your car is higher up, then that is OK, but if you have a regular car like I had (Toyota Corolla), then it scrapes the bottom.
The villa is actually spread over more floors. When you first enter the villa you are technically on the 1st floor. This has the kitchen/diner & front room. It is all open plan. There are sliding double doors to the outside patio & pool. There is also a toilet situated in the front room area but off to the side. The coldness of the pool water meant I was unable to use the pool even once. My mum & children tried it first & said it was colder than the indoor pool at home. So i think the owners could benefit with having the pool heated & also cleaning up the tiles as they did look grubby & that detracted somewhat.
I didn't realise it was up a mountain, I thought it was up a hill but this is technically a mountain not a hill. The entrance into the actual road is shocking. My hire car repeatedly scratched along the bottom.of the ramp at the entrance to the villa. This ramp needs lowering to allow regular cars, to get over the ramp without doing any damage. It could be helpful if there are some signposts starting about 1/2 mile from the villa, stating that it is nearby as it does creep up on you.
I would suggest a couple of bottles of water in the villa for when thirsty guests arrive.
There was a 1.5litre bottle of cold water in the fridge but, between 4 adults (my girls are 25 & 27) we literally had just a glass of water each & that had to last us until the following day when we located a shop.
So my only advice would be to put a couple of bottle of water in the fridge & maybe some milk & a few tea bags, coffee & sugar as nor everyone brings their own tea bags like my mum or their own latte sachets, like me. No one in my family take sugar but I'd recommend having keeping pots with tea, coffee & sugar & a bottle of milk & more than 1 bottle of water.
And with the pool, the tiles need a really good clean & the water 100% needs warming up as definitely way too cold.
The 4 pictures included are, the 1st one is the discolouration of the pool tiles.

- Antri (7/5): Good - Excellent location and view, quiet neighborhood. Mr. Joseph was very helpful. More importance should be given to the cleaning of the house. Also, the beds were very uncomfortable.
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good -
- Savva (9/5): Superb -
- Elaine (9/5): Relaxing stay in a beautiful setting. - Lovely villa with great outdoor space in a beautiful setting. Views were stunning.
Strange set up inside villa with a bedroom in the basement.
Small things like a dressing table with a mirror above and a little waste paper bin in bedrooms would be helpful for those ladies with a cleansing/ makeup routine.
The kitchen was very well equipped and white goods were of a high standard. Great that there were some condiments left there.
I would have preferred cotton bedding rather than microfibres but that is a minor concern.
A lovely villa and appropriately priced. See above.
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional - It was absolutely brilliant. Excellent facilities, great location, and lovely staff. Villa Panorama Tessera was very clean and had all you could want. It was great to have a private pool. I highly recommend this villa for your next holiday!
