Guest Reviews

nice people
good restaurant
I was able to work with a direct view on the pyramids
- Jessica (6/5): Affordable accommodation - Our stay here was value for money. It is exaclty what it looks like in the pictures and description, so read closely. Not exactly a hotel but a nice room in an apartment with hotel ammenities. Room was clean, linen not the best, however wardrobe, fridge, separate bathroom, and tea and coffe facilities are included. We were also made a complimentary breakfast for our first morning. All staff and occupants in the apartment are lovely and extremely helpful. We were offered airport pick up at 1200 egyption €. We were sceptical about security, however we had no problems with this. Overall a good place to stay if your looking for cheap accommodation more private than a hostel.
- Gabriel (10/5): Exceptional - Good place, the room was very clean, good staff and friendly people in the hotel. Very good landmark view. Everything is good
- Liu (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing place the very clean
- Oussama (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing the place very kind people it is small place but incredible
- Ushnik (7/5): Stay only if you want a great view. Otherwise no. - The best thing about this is the view, it was amazing.
Good room. The owner tried several times to take the pincode of the booking. Probably wanted to add in reviews by himself. So be careful of that. Other than that he was well behaved.
A few more pointers would be poor WiFi, mediocre breakfast and the fact that this is not a hotel but rather an apartment in a commercial building.
- Rachid (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing place very clean and quiet the view was nice people were helpful
- Thuwayba (10/5): Exceptional - It nice place very clean the view was nice it is small place but comfortable people are friendly and helpful
- Imran (1/5): Avoid Avoid Avoid they took my money for nothing. It’s really not safe and the building has a lot of structural movement - Avoid it’s not as on the pictures, even if it’s cheap but it’s not safe at all. There was a lake on the electricity wire, and when I told the staff they start saying it’s normal. When it’s very dangerous
- Jia (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing place very clean and quiet breakfast friendly staff
- Dudasbetti (10/5): Exceptional - Very good place nice hospitality friendly staff the view was amazing breakfast was delicious room was very clean the tour they organize was the best
- Maria (8/5): Confortable - The view It is a hotel with 3 rooms, there is no person who speaks English and there was no internet either. If you need something you must wait for the owner to arrive, which can take hours or even the next day. there is nothing around the hotel.
- Zhuohan (10/5): Exceptional - Very good place clean and quiet
- Buse (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing place the view is fantastic friendly people very clean and helpful quiet room
- Aisha (1/5): Bad -
- Aisha (1/5): It was aguest house in building uder construction i loose my money for two rooms two says and not stay in it -
- Irshad (1/5): This hotel is rough, if thats what you looking for go ahead. - If I looked at out the window I could see the pyramids of Giza. False advertising. Booking.com pictures paints the view that this is a reasonably nice place however it was one of the most horrific places I have been to, the elevator was a risk to life, it had no door as it went up 8 floors. Building in a derelict area and felt like it was ready to collapse , still under construction.
The price was too good to be true it turned out.
We left immediately and lost our money for 2 nights, had to find another hotel.
- Has898 (10/5): Exceptional - رائع
- Juri (10/5): Exceptional - I can’t believe the view the hospitality friendly staff very clean
- Masiphoto (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing hotel the view is beautiful
- Aidan (2/5): Very poor -
- Teagan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ramy (1/5): Bad - The location It’s not an hotel, it’s a town house
No reception
No room service
No checkout rules
- Zahra (7/5): The building where the apartment hotel was under construction which was not very pleasing but the staff made our stay am - Clean room and friendly staff! Location was very remote meaning hard to find with GPS (located under the bridge) and a lot of noise due to being under highway! There was no snack bar and had to walk around to the deli to buy snacks and water.
- Elaine (8/5): Very good - Location difficult to find. But we still enjoyed our stay.
- Aktsvigun (6/5): Pleasant - - Great view towards the pyramids
- Great staff, which accepted to check us in an hour earlier - There were dozens of ants in the room, they were everywhere, including the bed
- Dirty towels
- No hot water in the shower
- Due to location, taxi drivers could not find the hotel
- Deborah2806 (3/5): Wouldn't recommend, really rundown location, no possibility to get around on your own. - We got a big breakfast. Also the guy who welcomed us on the first evening organized some dinner for us and helped us organizing a trip for sightseeing. The Airport transfer worked pretty well. Also the rooms were ok, beside the shower leaking. Beds were comfortable and clean, also there was a room service every day. The location is really rundown. It is located at a big road, so no chance to go out on a walk, to get any food or do groceries around there. The building is completely under construction, the "hotel" is only one apartment. There is no reception, only some students working there, bot they weren't there sometimes for several hours - all this with open doors to the apartment, so we could only lock our room and didn't have anyone to answer our questions. Also they didn't provide us with any information, we could only book the offered trips, which were quite ok with the drivers and guides, but really expensive. Also they promised us a tour on the first evening, which actually wasn't possible after talking to the owner. Breakfast and dinner came up to 1-2 hours later than ordered. We felt really uncomfortable in the beginning and were glad, that there wer at least some other guests.
- Artis (5/5): Passable - View from the balcony was great There is no service in the room. Breakfast was terrible
- Diafront (10/5): Exceptional - nice view, thank to Houssam, lovely guy
- Diogo (3/5): Booking.com - Apartment with nice conditions and view as well.
The worker that received us was very useful and kind as well. He helped us to book a great tour for the following day, which was really good. The entrance of the building is awful and it’s uncompleted (its scary to go in at night, specially with many floors of the building abandoned and with just one elevator working)
The room was not very clean, it had many dust on the furniture, there was no hot water in one of the rooms and also no water pressure. Champoo and shower gel were missing as well.
Morning breakfast was disappointing, we should have received it around 8 am but it was delivered more than half an hour later, delaying the start of our tour (9 am) and there was no coffee.
The person that was working at night and during the breakfast just kept smoking on the reception which is not nice when you are a non smoking family.
- Arlene (6/5): not recommended very far from the pyramids and very remote and not very clean - the staffs are helpful and nice the location is out of nowhere and not showing the real name of hotel in the map. you can’t go out without the guy in the hotel because of the access of the lift. the breakfast is awful. the room is not being cleaned everyday. tissue is limited. not very near the pyramids
- Guya (1/5): Not a hotel, no service provided at all - The guy at the reception working in the evening shift was nice and helped us to get some delivery food and organise a transfer to the airport. This is nothing like a hotel.
Breakfast not given (we paid for that, included in our room price), nobody at reception during morning for check out and luggage holding, no hot water at all in shower.
Location seems good, as the view from balcony is nice, in reality is completely cut off from any services (restaurants, shops..) and it’s dangerous to walk around as the access is from a car-way passage under a bridge.
- Alice (7/5): Hard to find. - Beautiful view of the pyramids and the new museum. Room was clean and staff were friendly. Location is very difficult to find, your uber and taxi drivers will have issues finding the place. The reception is not obvious at the entrance but on 8th floor, better contact the property before you arrive.
- Elias (1/5): Bad -
- Jane (9/5): Good value place to stay near the pyramids - This hotel is on the 8th floor of a building and has a few rooms. The rooms have a balcony with a great view over the pyramids. The room was modern and clean and had a very comfortable bed with nice bedding. Bathroom was good and they had made an effort to make everything nice like giving slippers etc. Hossam met us and was very welcoming and helpful. Anyone booking this place should be aware that there are no facilities such as a restaurant, but if you just want a room then this is a great place to stay, near the pyramids, and a very comfortable and clean room and lovely staff. Very good value. The impression on arrival isn't very good as the building is very scruffy and looks like a building site. There is no signage to tell you that the hotel is on the 8th floor. There is a lift but you need a key fob to use it (and you wouldn't know what floor to go to anyway). We were only able to go up because there was a lady and a little girl outside (who presumably live in the building) and she used her key fob and told us to go to the 8th floor. Once you're in the hotel the room key has a fob for the lift, but before checking in you obviously won't have this. Anyway, once we were in our room it was all fine and Hossam made us feel very welcome and we were happy with our stay here.
- Osipov (8/5): Very good -
- Lili (1/5): Bad - We arrived at the hotel and the elevators were not working. This hotel is on the 8th floor of the building which was a mess as was being renovated. We decided we couldn't stay and they cancelled our booking as a no-show
- Javier (9/5): Superb - The hotel has just opened (still under works in other parts of the building). Very good for the price. Impressive views to the museum and pyramids
- Javimar (10/5): Great place and great host I would definitely go back! - the location was just right in front of the pyramids you could have breakfast in front and it was beautiful I like everything about the property. Gamal was lovely really helpful and available at all times for any assistance
- Romeo (8/5): Really enjoyed our stay and tours booked through hotel. Gamel was very accommodating. - Breakfast was simple and sufficient. Staff was helpful and friendly. The view of the pyramids was phenomenal!! Rooms were clean however did not supply shower gel, lotion. They did provide room slippers. Road way access was a little difficult to navigate for taxi.
Wifi a bit spotty so could not check in for flight.
No access to a corner market to pick up little needed travel items.
- Rodica (10/5): Wonderful experience and adventure vibe. - Staff actitud was very friendly and proactive. I had great support in getting an Uber to go to the airport. They kept my backpack after check out for few ours, which I apreciat a lot. Also, I had a room better than reserved and had a stoning view to pyramids. The discontinue internet, but compared to the lack of it in cafes, it was helpful to have it.
- Anonymous (10/5): Can compete against all major hotels - Great modern hotel. Views are phenomenal and the staff are great, the owners communication is great from the start covering all bases. Would highly recommend and book again. Nothing
- Ekaterina (5/5): Passable -
- Chloe (2/5): Not safe for solo female travellers and sleep sensitive people - Abdul looked after us very well, he was sweet and attentive and made sure we had dinner for when we arrived on the first night. the location of this place is underneath a highway and not even on a real road. this makes taking taxis near impossible and there is a lack of shops in close range, making us feel slightly trapped at times. being next to the highway also made sleeping difficult - we both had earplugs and could still hear blaring truck horns into the early hours of the morning. Half of the building is unoccupied and under construction. I don’t think female solo travellers.
- Angela (10/5): I’ll be back for sure ! - very clean and attentive staff
- Pooley (1/5): Awful don’t stay there - nothing . the area felt very unsafe. The room we had was a converted residential unit and not a hotel .I don’t believe the 10 ratings .Total joke .
Awful stay
- Christopher (10/5): Great value & would stay again. - Good location, helpful staff. Helped me get a ride from the airport and booked 2 private tours for me. Make sure to book a room with a balcony if possible. Also saw the light show at Giza pyramids. Nothing
- Alexandra (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect during our staying. The staff is super nice, they were there for any our request. They even allowed us to have shower and get dressed after the piramids trip in the evening, although we had already checked out by that time. Gorgeous view on piramids!
P. S. It's a bit tricky to find the hotel, it's right under the bridge.
- Ashley (10/5): A new and great experience - This was a very good experience for us. We were unsure of the area and culturally a bit thrown off by several unexpected factors in the neighborhood, but once we were inside the hotel we were treated like family. I made a mistake in the reservation and had not properly register my kids in the booking, but Gamel was so gracious, he invited us all just the same, made space, provided dinner and breakfast and water and recommendations for activity. Everything was personalized and the service was incomparable. The room was cleaner than we had experience at other Egyptian hotels. The bedding is brand new and the hospitality unmatched. There are likely many options of hotel comparable, but none with the hospitality Gamel gave and few with the magnificent view. Do yourself a favor and give it a try.
- Bryce (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christoph (10/5): Amazing - One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. Everything was perfect from the host to the infrastructure and the cleanliness of the place. Do not hesitate for a second. Nothing
- Ahmed (10/5): Exceptional -
- Medo (10/5): Exceptional - It is a new hotel everything was clean and colorful and the service is so amazing but the most incredible thing is the view, you can see the pyramids of giza and the new Egyptian museum all at once it was very nice spending time there, it won't be my last time there
- Medo (10/5): Exceptional - What can say truly about the hotel, well the view is so amazing and spectacular the staff is very friendly and nice the room is so clean and the bed is quite comfortable, the breakfast was very delicious
- Hany (10/5): amazing - best view ever nothing
- Symergy (10/5): A fabulous room with a view (stunning) - Stunning view of the pyramids from balcony.
Everything was brand new immaculately clean.
Very generous breakfast with plenty of fresh fruit and bottled water.
