• Christine (10/5): Hôtel à Gizeh pyramides, une pépite à découvrir - L'hôtel est très bien indiqué et sécurisé ; j'y suis arrivée en taxi moto. J'ai été accueillie pour effectuer les simples formalités de chek-in, on m'a offert une boisson fraîche. L'emplacement dans une rue calme, à proximité à pieds du centre-ville et de l'entrée aux pyramides. L'hôtel est magnifique, très propre et décoré avec soins, on peut facilement y découvrir plusieurs petits endroits sympas pour se relaxer. Le rooftop offre une vue magique sur les pyramides très proches. C'est incroyable mais vrai, on rêve ! J'y ai dîné un koshari excellent puis un petit déjeuner : grand choix de plats Egyptiens et autres. Ma chambre (204) offre une jolie vue pyramide : douche, bouilloire café thé eau et frigo ainsi que serviettes de toilette. J'ai profité de la piscine qui est un atout rafraîchissant avec la chaleur du pays. Enfin, j'ai côtoyé le personnel digne d'être professionnel, il est disponible et sait répondre positivement aux doléances des clients cosmopolites dans plusieurs langues. Je recommande cet hôtel de par son excellent rapport qualité prix.

• James (9/5): Worth it. - The staff are very friendly. The place was very clean. It has good value for money and it's been a bit of an adventure to get there. It has an amazing view of the pyramids. It's a really good place to go. Nothing really. I mean it's all really good. The only problem can be maybe getting an Uber out or an Uber in but apart from that it's really good for everything else.

• André (8/5): Hotel zum tollen Preis- Leistungsverhältnis mit herrlicher Aussicht - Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Reinigung war auch sehr gut. Die Rezeption ist immer besetzt. Wir haben sogar einen sehr späten checkout bekommen, weil unser Flieger nach Hause nicht pünktlich abflog. Generell ist die Lage und der Ausblick einfach beeindruckend. Einige Optionen, die zum Zimmer angeboten wurden, waren gar nicht verfügbar. Grundsätzlich ist noch einiges an Renovierungsarbeiten und Optimierungen nötig. Aber man sieht, dass das eingenommene Geld zeitnah reinvestiert wird, um das Hotel weiter zu modernisieren. Wir hatten unser Zimmer im 2. OG, unter der Dachterrasse. Abends hörten wir noch sehr sehr laut das Verschieben der Stühle oder Tische.

Nous étions en demi-pension et c'était parfait le soir, soit Ie plat ou une entrée, au choix sur la carte avec boissons Bon rapport qualité prix . Petit jeu de grattage le soir au repas pour gagner des petits lots sympathiques. Wifi capricieuse dans les chambres. Nous étions au rez-de-chaussée chambre numéro 1 et le soir bavardage sur le côté.du jardin désagréable. Manque de bain de soleil (que 6).

• manila (9/5): Bellissima struttura con vista piramide - Sicuramente la vista sulla piramide mentre dai colazione e cena è qualcosa di molto suggestivo! Struttura bella e recente! I ragazzi dello staff tutti molto simpatici e cordiali! Cibo nello standard del luogo. Il quartiere in cui è posizionato sicuramente è fatiscente, ma secondo il mio parere molto affascinante e ti fa immergere nelle realtà locali, che è il motivo per cui viaggio! Insomma struttura consigliata! Bagno progettato male, per entrare bisogna passare per forza nella doccia, quindi in pratica dopo essersi lavati essendo tutto bagnato, diventa un disagio entrare in bagno.

• Pierre-Jean (3/5): Good location but poor transparency and service - The location near the pyramids was convenient and the room itself was generally acceptable. The guide during the tour was professional and spoke good French. Some staff members were polite and tried to be helpful during the stay. Unfortunately, several aspects of the experience were disappointing. Dinner service was extremely slow, towels were missing from the room, and overall organization felt inconsistent. The main issue concerns a private tour sold directly by the hotel. The payment was requested late at night in our room, and the final price was not presented clearly or transparently beforehand. We were charged $304 for a tour that we later discovered was significantly above comparable local prices. After raising our concerns, communication was largely moved from Booking.com to WhatsApp. Compensation was discussed several times but no concrete solution was ever provided despite multiple follow-ups. Overall, we left with the feeling that customer concerns were not handled professionally once payment had been made.
• Toni (4/5): Average. If it wasn’t for the location to the pyramids and mueseum I wouldn’t go back - Its location and view of the pyramid. The fact they had maintenance workers working drilling and hammering in a new shower in the room across the hallway with loud workmen, at 9pm at night which is when it started and wasn’t completed till 1030pm. We got in late the night before and we had been out in the sun sightseeing and I went to bed at 8pm and was awoken. Totally unacceptable and they did t stop even after I asked twice.

• Michael (1/5): Not for families - We decided not to stay at that hotel once we arrived there. The problem is that the surroundings are extremely poor, and we felt very insecure. The hotel is located at the edge of the pyramid area, but in a suburb of Cairo with very dirty, narrow streets and dirt tracks between crumbling buildings. Good for young backpackers but definitely not for a family.

Man erwartet nicht, dass dann in der Gegend auf einmal tatsächlich ein vernünftiges Hotel steht.

Service in the restaurant took a very long time, however I would caveat that we were there during ramadan and understand that the team may have been busy breaking their fast, so I think during other times it might be fine.

La colazione e il servizio cena sono stati decisamente scarsi. Rispetto al prezzo pagato, i servizi non sono stati adeguati e il livello di comfort è stato scarso. Non lo consiglio
• Maria grazia (8/5): Posizione super, stanza matrimoniale piccola - La struttura è in una posizione pazzesca, lo staff gentile e super disponibile. Ristorante per colazione e cena con varie opzioni. Roof top con vista piramide AMAZING, super consigliato per chi pensa di fare un weekend lungo in Egitto per vedere le Piramidi! Abbiamo pagato per 2 camere deluxe con vista Piramidi ed effettivamente per entrambe la vista eccezionale. Ma avendo pagato la stessa cifra per 2 stanze, ci aspettavamo due stanze simili, invece la matrimoniale era piccolissima, da un lato mancava anche il comodino per il poco spazio ed è stato difficile tenere 2 valige aperte, troppo piccola! A mio avviso la stanza matrimoniale sarebbe dovuta costare meno e non era una camera deluxe. Poteva essere una matrimoniale uso singola, ma per 2 persone non c'era spazio per muoversi. Abbiamo segnalato in reception ma ci hanno detto che non c'erano altre stanze disponibili.

• Olivier Lespargot (5/5): Ne vous fiez pas aux photos ni au descriptif !! - A part le rooftop très agréable, pas grand chose. La nourriture est simple mais correcte. A peu près rien ne correspond aux descriptions : les chambres que nous avons eues n'étaient pas celles qui avaient été réservées, les chambres sont anciennes et beaucoup de choses sont cassées. Une mention spéciale pour les interrupteurs des chauffe-eau qui sont installés dans les chambres des voisins... de quoi faire des blagues très amusantes. La robinetterie est anté dilluvienne, le wifi ne fonctionne pas, difficiled'avoir un café au lait... etc
• Aude (8/5): Nous avons passé un bon séjour au sein de l’hôtel. - La vue au pied des pyramides est exceptionnelle. Le personnel est très gentil et à l’écoute. Très beau cadre avec la piscine. Très calme en journée. Notre chambre était située en dessous du rooftop donc un peu de bruit en soirée (jusqu’à 23h environ). Le wifi ne marchait pas bien.

The staff was incredibly accomodating and let us check in early to our hotel room. The value for the price was perfect. There's no door on the shower and the bathroom smelled a little moldy. Other than that, the room felt very clean.

• Samoilenko (8/5): - erything was good. The location is very close to the pyramids, and the view is beautiful. The only downside is that not all taxi drivers can easily find the location. The area inside the hotel is also nice. The only small downside is that everything feels a bit outdated. Overall, I really liked it. The staff is amazing — everyone is very polite and helpful.They can help organize and solve any request. And a special thanks to Mohamed Fawzy — he drove us everywhere and stayed with us like a security guard. He took us to all the places we needed to visit

Seeing the Pyramids illuminated at night from the terrace was absolutely magical. Sitting there under the stars with the quiet of the evening around me felt surreal, one of those travel moments you wish you could pause forever. The room was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared, with every detail taken care of. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I slept so well after an evening enjoying the calm surroundings. The staff were kind, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, making the whole stay feel personal and relaxed rather than just another hotel visit. Waking up in the morning and seeing the Pyramids again in the soft sunlight was the perfect ending to a perfect stay. The streets leading to the hotel are simple and local, which adds authenticity, but might seem too empty to some.

• Nicole A. Martin (8/5): Gastfreundschaft sehr groß geschrieben. - Der Blick auf die Pyramide war fantastisch. Das Personal war immer hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Sie geben sich viel Mühe. Das essen war gut. Es gab zwar kein Buffet zum Frühstück und Abendessen, aber man hatte mehrere Gerichte zur Auswahl. Kaffee mit Milch, wie wir es kennen, ist dort nicht ganz so geläufig und man bekommt eine Tasse Kaffee und eine Tasse warme Milch. Wenn man verstanden hat, dass man halt einen Cappuccino bestellen muss, klappt es hervorragend. Der Taxiservice war gut und sehr zuverlässig. Die Pyramiden und auch das neue große ägyptische Museum sind von dort gut und schnell zu erreichen. Alles in allem war es eine schöne Zeit. Man muss sich im Klaren sein, dass es sich wirklich um eine sehr alte Villa handelt und man darf keinen Luxus erwarten. Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig eingerichtet, aber alles halt alt. Die Zimmertür ließ sich nicht abschließen, aber das wurde sofort behoben. Die Duschwand könnte mal geputzt werden und das Mobiliar auf dem Balkon war sehr spartanisch und lud nicht wirklich zum Verweilen ein. Das Hotel befindet sich in Giseh, was wohl zu den ärmsten Gegenden in Kairo zählt. Dafür kann das Hotel nichts, aber ich finde es wichtig, dass man das weiß, wenn man sich dazu entscheidet, dort zu übernachten.

• Florian (8/5): Sauberes Hotel mit einer tollen Aussicht an ruhiger Lage. An die Lage muss man sich gewöhnen. - Die Aussicht ist natürlich der absolute Hammer und das Frühstück auf der Terrasse war ebenfalls top! Auch das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und stets freundlich! Das Hotel ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber es werden Verbesserungen durchgeführt und es ist wirklich sehr sauber! Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gefallen! Bei uns in den Zimmern ging das Fernsehen nicht (SAT), was uns jedoch nicht störte. Das Viertel, in dem das Hotel liegt, ist in einem schlechten Zustand (es gibt einige Ruinen und schlechte Strassen) und ärmlich. Einmal fand unser Uber-Fahrer das Hotel nicht, da mache Strassen nicht passierbar sind bzw. google maps die aufgelassenen Strassen fälschlicherweise noch anzeigt. Im Hotel ist man jedoch wohl dran, einen Fahrservice einzurichten, welcher dieses Problem beheben soll.

• stephen (9/5): Warm welcome for comfortable family stay - A very warm welcome.Tidy, clean rooms with a super view of the Great Pyramid to wake up to and from the roof terrace and pool area. Good leisure options with small pool, pool table, table tennis and seating areas. Good food options that also catered for vegetarian on the rooftop with a view (The hotel does not have a licensed bar but soft drinks always available during restaurant hours or at reception and alcohol, purchased a short walk away, can be consumed at the hotel). Around the hotel is a maze of residential streets but we found it an easy walk to the main street and locals always happy to say hello and help with directions. This is a good location to see the egyptian way of life only a short walk from the Sphinx gate of the Giza plateau. The staff at Villa Khufu are the gem here, keen to make sure the stay is comfortable they are happy to help with any enquiry, however small. There were some refurbishments during our stay and we can see that Villa Khufu will just keep getting better. Food service can seem slow at first but once we experienced the area a little more, we realised this is the way in Egypt and it is worth a freshly cooked meal. Our language barrier sometimes meant some repetition but that is on our lack of Arabic as the effort to offer English language from the staff was good.

Ce que je n ai pas aimé c est qu il avait pas de cuisine partager comme indiqué dans l annonce. Il manquer aussi l animation aucune animation alors qu il etait indique qu il aurait et qu il y a aurais un club enfant il n y a avais qu un tableau ping pong pas fini. Et les travaux tout les jours du bruits , ils sont tres rapide mais tout les jours un travaux .

• Audrey (3/5): Expérience décevante - L'emplacement à proximité et avec vue directement sur les pyramides La propreté n'était pas au rendez-vous, le personnel n'était pas très accueillant par rapport à l'ensemble des autres hébergements qu'on a pu avoir en Égypte. La salle de bain était sale et vétuste. La chasse d'eau était très difficile à actionner, le robinet du lavabo fonctionnait mal. Il y avait des travaux avec du bruit et beaucoup de poussière dans le hall de l'hôtel. Les items de notre petit déjeuner à emporter étaient recouvert de poussière... L'hôtel ne paraît pas très bien entretenu de manière générale. ll y a clairement un décalage entre les photos et la réalité.

Koud water in de douche, dat was niet fijn met twee kleine kindjes. En op de afbeeldingen staat een buiten speeltuintje, maar die is er niet meer. Dat vonden we jammer, want dat was één vd redenen dat wij deze acco kozen.

Le bruit Le soir tard ou le matin tôt tout raisonne. Chambre sous la terrasse, les déplacements des meubles et les bavardages du personnel. La salle de bain dans certaines chambres n'a pas été refaite, elle est inconfortable. La deco n'est pas terrible. Les prix pratiqués pour avoir des chauffeurs, totalement déraisonnables par rapport aux taxis. La croisière soi-disant en felouk, nulle et du coup trop chère pour ce que c'est.

• Sebastian (5/5): Hotel ok, area very bad - The stuff was friendly and inside it looks nice. The area around the hotel is very dirty, feels unsafe and you have to walk about 5 to 10 minutes through this area to get to the hotel.

• Macarena (2/5): Don't bother going there; it's not worth it. - The breakfast and the view The price is too high for what they have to offer. It wasn't clean. The lift didn't work. The gym wasn't available and we had to ask for towels. The shower didn't have a curtain, so the bathroom floor got wet after showering. They offered us very expensive tours and taxis. They were dismissive of our questions. Their English was poor, too. The hotel is in an isolated area, so you can't go for a walk anywhere tourist-friendly. You need to take a taxi, and you have to bargain really hard to get a reasonable price. The hotel staff didn't help with this. It was exhausting.

• Jean (8/5): Hôtel sympathique avec vue sur la pyramide de Kheops - La vue sur la pyramide de Kheops, le style rétro de l'hôtel, le calme pendant la nuit, le petit déjeuner dur le toit L'accès à l'hôtel : compliquée pour les taxis ( petite rue en terre battue), pas très sympathique à pieds.

• Christoph (7/5): Ongelofelijke locatie. Restaurant met mooi terras, maar slechte kwaliteit - Prachtige locatie eens je in het hotel bent. Chauffeur rijdt minutenlang door kleine stofweggetjes om er te komen, maar je zit echt tegen de grootste piramide aan en uit de drukte en chaos van de stad. Onwerkelijk om ze smorgens uit het raam de piramide te zien en om te ontbijten in de schaduw van deze piramide. Leuk ingericht hotel en terras. We hadden een familiekamer voor 4 personen, erg netjes en ruim en een tweepersoonskamer waarvan de airco stuk was en de wc lekte. Eten was algeheel niet goed. Je moet ontbijt bestellen bij een ober, kan kiezen uit 4 opties. We probeerden ze alle 4 en vonden geen enkele geslaagd. Het duurde hen ongeveer een uur om deze te bereiden, de borden kwamen niet samen (wat geen probleem is), maar het eten was verschillende keren echt koud toen het aankwam. Raar. Avondeten idem. Matige kwaliteit, heel lang wachten op bestelling die dan koud werd geserveerd. Koffiemachine bij ontbijt was stuk. Obers wasten vuile tassen af door er met een wcpapiertje in te vegen...

• Andreas (10/5): Würde wiederkommen. Wegen dem Blick auf die Pyramide. - Das Hotel, das am nächsten zur Cheopspyramide liegt. Tolle Dachterrasse direkt unter der Pyramide. Preiswert, sauberer Pool, Zimmer ok, Betten mit guter Härte (ich habe oft Rückenschmerzen)- hier superbequem. Ausserdem ruhig, keine Strassen in der Nähe. Die Gegend ist das Wohngebiet der Kameltreiber und Pferdekutscher der Pyramiden. Sehr enge, sehr schmutzige Gassen, verfallene Häuser. Ich denke es ist sicher, aber zum hin und wegfahren schwierig für Uber-Fahrer und zu Fuß rauslaufen (10-15min) ist für den durchschnittlichen Urlauber SEHR abenteuerlich. Eingang zum Pyramideareal ist 15 min entfernt.
