• Yves Palliser (9/5): Très bon rapport qualité prix - 2 chambres à Ghiseh, tout près des Pyramides. La clim marchait bien, les lits étaient plutôt confortables et avaient des draps ( dessous et couette dessus). Le petit déj est correct. L hôtel est situé tout près de la place où sont attachés les chameaux et chevaux qui vont tous les jours amener les touristes qui le souhaitent au pied des Pyramides, donc forcément l odeur est forte , et c est très poussiéreux. Mais les gens sont gentils, il n y a pas de problème particulier. Attention aux vendeurs de souvenirs qui vous raconteront tous que leur grand père est souffleur de verre et qui vous vendront des objets en verre et des parfums très chers .....une fois que l on s est fait avoir, on s est rendu compte qu ils racontent tous la même histoire. Attention à la tenue , il faut respecter les locaux et donc peut être privilégier les pantalons fluides aux shorts
• Ursula (8/5): - Leckeres Frühstück zu jeder Zeit, so wie es für uns und unseren Tagesablauf gepasst hat. 3 Zimmer, die nebeneinander liegen und sich eine große Dachterrasse mit Blick auf die Pyramiden teilen. Fußläufig zu den Pyramiden, auch zum großen Museum kann man laufen. Ruhig gelegen. Bisschen versteckt gelegen, nur durch kleine Gassen erreichbar. Kairoer Taxifahrer finden es aber.
• Marius (8/5): Great value for the money. - Great location, very close to the pyramids – only about a 11-minute walk to the Sphinx entrance. You can even see the pyramids from the terrace, which is amazing. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was really nice and available at any time. The area has a noticeable smell from camels and horses, which we were already expecting based on previous reviews. There are also many dogs around – they might seem a bit intimidating at first, but they didn’t bother anyone. Overall, it’s just something to keep in mind if you’re not used to this kind of environment.

• MIN (10/5): - The courtyard is clean and quiet and a few minutes walk to the pyramids. The host is very nice and can arrange breakfast according to your time. It is true that there are many animals outside the courtyard and the smell is strong, but it seems to be a problem for anyone who lives near the pyramids, and I prefer it to the noise and garbage on the street.

• Nasser (10/5): - We recently stayed here as a family and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The highlight was definitely our host, who was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. ​The location is unbeatable—just a stone’s throw from the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum. Despite being so close to these major attractions, the property itself has a wonderful rural feel that provided a peaceful escape after a long day of sightseeing. Highly recommended for stay. None

Terastan piramidi görüyor olmak çok güzel bir his . Sessiz sakin bir bölgede . . Ailenin yaşadığı avlulu bir evin teras katında bir odada kalıyorsunuz, bu insanı daha güvende hissetiriyor. Oda temizdi klima çalışıyordu. Evin bulunduğu bölge develerin konakladığı bir alan koku var yinede avlulu bir evde güvende hissedeceğiniz bir ortam .

Le prix est vraiment correct. La salle de bain n'est pas pratique, si on prend une douche et que quelqu'un souhaite aller aux toilettes après le sol est tout mouillé. Et la salle de bain est petite donc quand on prend ma douche on mouille tout.

Room is big , clean and has everything you need for a couple of nights. The view from the roof is over the biggest pyramid . The owner who is very nice let us do a very late check out since the room was not booked . He did us a big favor to which we are very grateful. I recommend this place strongly ! Hope they keep up the good work . Everything was nice .

La ubicación para ir caminando a las pirámides es perfecta, la limpieza de la habitación estuvo bien y lo que disfrutamos mucho fue el desayuno que te lo sirven en la terraza, y desde allí se puede ver una de las pirámides perfectamente El barrio no se ve nada lindo y mucho menos limpio, frente al complejo hay un establo de camellos por lo que se siente olor pero es tranquilo, gente que trabaja con el turismo

• Evelin (10/5): Perfecto para la aventura - El alojamiento era magnífico para lo que buscábamos: un lugar cerca de las pirámides, económico pero cómodo, con desayuno incluido. La habitación era amplia, con aire acondicionado y baño. La vista a las pirámides era genial, el desayuno era sencillo pero por el costo suficiente. El barrio es muy auténtico y residencial, calles de arena, carretas impulsadas por caballos, niños jugando. Una experiencia bastante local. Omar siempre fue amable, atento y servicial, nos ayudó muchísimo durante nuestra estancia. Todo estuvo bien.

Turizm bölgesi olduğundan dolayı 250 metre ilerisinde at ve deve yetiştiriciliği var bu da odadan dışarı çıkınca oluşan koku bizi rahatsız etti.
• GabNa GarMan (10/5): Lo mejor de Giza!! - Inmejorable relación calidad-precio. Mi comentario es 100% real y me alojé allí con mi hija del 8 al 12 de agosto, luego de mucho buscar durante meses y ver muchísimos alojamientos y comentarios. Solicitamos la recogida en el aeropuerto por tan sólo 14€. Es cierto que Uber es más económico pero es muy cómodo por este dinero que te recojan a la madrugada en un país desconocido y te lleven directamente al hotel. Al ser un Guest House, la atención y la hospitalidad de la familia, Omar especialmente que estuvo ahí para cualquier cosa que necesitáramos, su mamá y su hermano, es totalmente personalizada. La habitación estaba renovada, al parecer, con muy buena iluminación, un aire acondicionado que funcionaba muy bien para días de calor extremo, nevera, calentador de agua, café, té, azúcar, productos para el baño, sabanas nuevas, toallas grandes y pequeñas para las 2 y todo muy limpio. La habitación da a una terraza impecable dónde se ven 2 pirámides y desde la ventana de la habitación también. El desayuno cada mañana era puntual a cualquier hora que deseáramos, 9h, 7h, sin problemas. Omar que es una gran persona, nos acompañó el primer día a conocer el barrio y nos invitó shisha, café y zumo en un bar local, muy amable y hospitalario. También nos ayudó a pedir un Indrive y hablar con el conductor para indicarle la dirección. El barrio es súper seguro, local, tranquilo y la gente es de una humildad, hospitalidad y nobleza insuperable. Todos te saludan y son super simpáticos. Los egipcios son adorables y gente muy muy buena 🫶🏻 Realmente es demasiado bueno todo para el precio que tiene. No dudo en recomendar este alojamiento bueno, bonito y barato. Shukran Omar & family! Espero que nos volvamos a ver pronto! 🥰💖😘 Lo único que no nos gustó fue el guía recomendado para ir a Sakkara, Memphis y Dasur ya que no era experto en nada, sólo hablaba español y daba explicaciones de folleto. Por eso anulamos la excursión al día siguiente a las pirámides.

Location is nice in terms of how close it is to pyramids. The prise is great, obviously, good value for money. the location is hard to reach with a taxi, it was difficult to find. They offered transfer from the airport to the guest house for 18 $, but the uber costs around 7-8 $, so we took an uber but then struggled to reach the place. Also the location has many farm animals around (camels and horses), so it does smell accordingly.

It was Ramadan and we were invited for Iftar, what an awesome experience! Also, we arrived late at night and had to leave early in the morning from and to the airport (4night-stay) and nothing was a problem! Mohamed arranged us a personal driver (Ahmed) and tour guide (Ahmed) and they were just awesome! It was a very pleasent stay and we are happy we came here! We are recommanding this to everybody! Nothing negative to say! Room and bathroom were clean, sheets and towels included, breakfast was everything you need, terrace with an awesome view, ask Mohamed anything and it was always with a smile and the best service!

• Agathe (2/5): This is the best place to experience Egyptians way of scamming - I booked here because I wanted to be close to the pyramids and because I was looking for a cheap room. I met Omar really late at night who is really a kind person with whom I had a great connection. We arranged everything together for my one-day stay and it was really fluid. When issues kick in, Omar is nowhere to be found. You'll meet his brother, a whole different breed. This person lied to me confidently looking at me straight in the eyes, several times. Do NOT pay things in advance, but along your stay, at the exact moment of the service. I insist on this one. Do NOT believe them when they say they agree for the price, even if you write it on paper to be sure that everyone is on the same line, this price WILL change, especially if you are extremely dependant on the said service. Beware of the "taxes" that you have to pay out of the blue, of the sim card having a different price then the offer, everything adds up, you'll actually pay more then what we do pay in western countries !! Do NOT trust their affiliates, drivers, guide tours, etc. They work in networks. Know that in Egypt, you don't need to pay more than 35€ for a tour or a driver for the whole day (at the moment of this review). Prepare really thoroughly your stay and your visits because you will not be properly guided. If the price is low, it is because they get the extra money in another way. When you'll ask for repair, the second brother will tell you it is all your fault, and will use a very twisted argumentation to make you responsible for the issues. The room is sincerely ok if you don't rely on them for anything else. The neighbourhood will make you feel unsafe, but I went out after dawn, walking as a single woman and nothing happened to me. This works for all Egypt actually, no matter how poor. But of course, use your own judgement. There are a lot of scams in Egypt, most of them happening in Cairo. What I am describing is exactly how people do when they aim solely for your money. If you are scammed somewhere, please take the time to write a review !!! Everyone is not like this in Egypt, I stayed in 4 different places, travelled in other countries - this guest house is not worth the concern.
• Elena (10/5): Best value for budget travellers. - We stayed for 3 nights and we were very well taken care of. The host is one of the kindness and the room is clean with everything you need( AC, hot water, ketle, fridge). The location is close to the piramids, some 5min walking, as well as restaurants and shops at 10 min walk. Like others guests said, the street may look a bit intimidating, but it is safe even at night.

Excellent beds and mattresses. All facilities were perfect. Lovely terrace as well, with view to the pyramid. The area is quite difficult.
• Sivaji (10/5): Super - Ihad a great stay at the RAMSES Guest house . The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive, and they made me feel welcome. The breakfast was delicious and varied, and the had a nice ambiance and a tasty menu. • Daniel (6/5): Not for the faint hearted 🙈 - Well, the only thing good here was the owner who was really nice to me and the breakfast was delicious. Also, the price is really good, even for Egypt. And I gave max. to the location because it is very close to the pyramids, but be aware that it is in a slum area so if you are not prepared to see the real Egypt (camels, horses on the road, garbage, randomness, etc.), don't book this place. 😅 Replies: 1 - Nobody said that 🙈 (This section is the positive one, not the negative, my friend. I, myself, actually enjoyed the area 😅) 2 - Guess just didn't think about it 🤷‍♀️ 3 - I know how to use it, it is used for AC, for heating it's not the best... 4 - Again, not a complain, relax, bro 😊 Well, first of all in the winter this place is really cold, even with the AC on heating couldn't heat the room to be comfortable. The shower is a joke, the water comes in episodes, there was a bad smell in the room, flies everywhere, pretty dirty. There is a dog (a good boy) in the backyard, not dangerous, but still weird that it can just be there. Of course outside smells like a stable.

• Tamás (10/5): 100% recommend it, amazing value for money - Amazing place to stay! Omar and Mohamed are amazing hosts who you can trust. Loved their hospitality! They also helped us to get a SIM card, had a smooth transfer and they respected our privacy a lot. I read some negative comments about the location. There was nothing wrong with it really. It can be a bit different to somebody from Europe but that is what we expected obviously. Otherwise the whole guest house was really private. Amazing value for money Wishing you all the best guys and thank you!) Great breakfast, but maybe there could be change after a few days

Very kind people My room upstairs was spacious and clean It is a quiet place at night and I slept really well. The terrace is spacious and you can see one of the pyramids quite well. The lack of ventilation in the bathroom but I'm sure that can be fixed.:-)
• Julian (10/5): Exceptional - Good location close to the Sphinx entrance of the Pyramids and with pyramid view. Room was very clean and comfortable with a nice outdoor terrace. Breakfast was excellent. I was grateful to be allowed to leave my bag in the room and check out late after visiting the Pyramids. Strange smell in the room, but didn't affect my stay
• Ivana (9/5): Superb - Lovely place with a view of the pyramids from the terrace. Good breakfast, clean room, comfortable bed. Good value for money. Mohamed helped us arrange for a car to the pyramids and advice with how to get to thw Grand Egyptian Museum on our own, which turned out to be very easy. Also we arrived very early and were offered a room to stay in whilst our own was being made ready. We really appreciated that. Nothing specific.

• Nidhi (10/5): Fantastic stay near the pyramids and the Great Sphinx - Excellent location, just a five-minute walk from the entrance to the pyramids complex. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The AC and WiFi worked well, except for when there was a power cut (around 10 pm for a few hours both nights we stayed there). Mohammed is very helpful and friendly. He arranged a pick up from the airport for us (paid), and even a free drop off to our next hotel in Cairo. The breakfast is sumptuous and delicious. One night we dined at a fancy rooftop restaurant overlooking the pyramids and Mohammed got us a 10% discount on the bill. I highly recommend this guest house if you're planning to stay for a couple of days near the pyramids. Oh, and the view of the Khufu Pyramid from the terrace where the rooms are located is sublime. We arranged a day tour to Dahshur, Memphis, and Saqqara with Mohammed, and his brother was our guide for the day. While he was very sweet and friendly - he took lots of photos and he was cheerful the whole time, we had a lot of trouble understanding what he was saying about the monuments. If, like me, you are more interested in the history of the monuments rather than pictures, you must ask for a qualified guide fluent in the language you speak.
• Anna (10/5): The best in Cairo and Giza - View, cleanliness, comfortable bed, good WiFi, delicious breakfast – everything was perfect! But what has exceeded expectations is the host Mohammed. He is amazing! Not about accomodation but Giza area. Nobody talks it, just be ready that entire Giza location is quite a mess. Like a Cairo mostly actually. Anyway this place is the best to stay in.

• Deena (8/5): A lovely clean guesthouse with a beautiful view of the Pyramids - We had a great week. The owner was helpful with anything we needed including tours and advice. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was substantial and excellent. The location was interesting - close the camels and donkeys- the real Egypt. The location was peaceful and we slept well. The view of the Pyramids was the only ‘icing on the cake!’ Nothing - everything was good!

Outstanding view on the pyramids from the terrasse, delicious homemade breakfast, on the terrasse. Large beds and small but very practical bathroom/shower with amenities (shower gel, soap etc), new and very little fridge. Being 3 ladies, we felt very secure and the house is very well located (close to pyramids and shops) . Good to know that Mohamed is a guide (English speaking)

The host provides exceptional hospitality, with well-appointed and immaculate furnishings that exceed typical guest house standards. I wish them the success they have earned!
