• Vito (8/5): Silenzioso e tranquillo, perfetto per un viaggio a due! - L'appartamento riservato alle prenotazioni tramite booking era quello al piano interrato, tipico in molte abitazioni irlandesi, ma nonostante questo era confortevole, riscaldato e pulito. Arredato con gusto e con diverse amenities sia in cucina che in bagno, ci siamo trovati molto bene e lo consigliamo a chiunque viaggi in coppia e sia alla ricerca di una soluzione alternativa agli hotel, ma che sia vicina al centro (circa 15 minuti dalla zona del Trinity College o da St. Stephen's Green), silenziosa e tranquilla. Ci sarebbe piaciuto avere l'opportunità di effettuare un late check-out oppure di avere a disposizione un deposito bagagli, ma essendo un appartamento ci può stare che non vengano offerti questi servizi.

Check-in rapido e prima dell'arrivo vengono condivise molte informazioni utili sia sull'appartamento che sui dintorni. L'appartamento è esattamente come in foto, se non più bello. Nuovo e pulitissimo, davvero raro da trovare. Prodotti ottimi nel bagno (Rituals), letto comodo, cucina ben fornita. Perfetto per un soggiorno in città. La posizione è fantastica, un quartiere vicino al parco e centralissimo. Se dovessi tornare a Dublino, tornerei assolutamente! Host disponibili anche per il late checkout gratuitamente. Nulla

Apartamenty łączą w sobie elegancję z domową funkcjonalnością, co widać już od samego progu stylowej kamienicy. ✅️ Wyposażenie i udogodnienia Apartament jest niezwykle bogato wyposażony, co sprawia, że idealnie nadaje się na dłuższe pobyty: ✅️ Kuchnia: W pełni funkcjonalny aneks kuchenny z nowoczesną płytą indukcyjną, piekarnikiem oraz kuchenką mikrofalową. Do dyspozycji gości jest ekspres do kawy Nespresso z zapasem kapsułek, czajnik elektryczny oraz toster, a także mikrofalówka. Nie brakuje również pełnego zestawu przyborów kuchennych, w tym patelni, talerzy, garnków, kubków, sztućców. Są dostępne podstawowe przyprawy: sól, pieprz, oliwa, herbata. Dostępne mleko w lodówce, woda oraz popcorn. Apartament nr 4 znajduje się na 2 piętrze, więc trzeba samemu wnieść po schodach walizki. Dla nas ok, ale dla starszej osoby może być to duży problem. 🏷 Kaucja: Przy meldunku pobierany jest depozyt w wysokości 200 euro, który zostaje po kilku dniach zwrócony, jeśli nie było zniszczeń. ❌️ Wady: minusem jest brak możliwości zostawienia bagażu po check oucie, można zdecydować się na późne wymeldowanie, ale to koszt dodatkowych 100 euro. Walizki zostawiliśmy w oddalonej około 15 minut przechowalni. ❌️ Brak płynu do mycia naczyń. ❌️ Brak zmywarki.

I also liked that there was coffee I didn't like the fact that the bathroom was a bit small and narrow, and especially without a window. Otherwise, I have nothing to say.

• Richard (1/5): 72 steps to a door that is reluctant to open for guests. - I chose this property because of its location - adjacent to Merrion Square and therefore close to the city centre. That's about all that can be said for it. This one-bedroom flat is at the top of the building owned/managed by Urban Rest - a company based in New South Wales. The flat is on the 5th floor and is the only one-bedroom flat in this block. There are 72 steps to the flat's front door. The last 20 or so steps are very steep. The apartment has been converted from what must have been servant's quarters in times past. There is no lift. There are keypads on the front door and on the door to gain access to the flat. The front door keypad works fine. The keypad for entry to the flat does not work properly - it never worked the first time. One evening at 11 pm it took us over 10 minutes to gain access. On entry there was a fetid smell. We managed to get rid of it by running the bathroom fan continually. The kitchen is tiny with not enough room for two people to prepare meals. The TV has no access to terrestrial channels, only streaming services for which you need to use your own login details to access. We never used it. We booked for a week, but only stayed 3 nights. The company agreed to refund the extra nights. We found a refuge at Hampton Hilton at Four Courts. Much better but without the space of an apartment. It was impossible to speak to anyone at Urban Rest. Thanks to Melvin at Booking.com who negotiated an early termination of our booking and the refund.

The Merrion Apartments hit a high score for us in all categories! With a two minute stroll to Merrion Square Park, the apartment is located in a quiet part of the the city and close to everything we wanted to walk to! The apartment photos featured are accurate. We asked for a split-level studio apartment. We were in Apartment 3, which was new, clean, and spacious (enough for our needs for the week;)!The kitchen was fully equipped, with the addition of oil & vinegar, salt & pepper! That was a nice touch! Appliances are user friendly! We could read a manual if we had any issues, like turning on the heat. Instructions with a link to a user manual was supplied via an email. All of which was user friendly! Other contributors mentioned difficulty with the stairs. We had no issues with the hallway stairs or those in the apartment. Perhaps going up to the apartment above might be an issue, especially walking up the winding, hallway stairs with heavy or large luggage. We had no issues getting to our suite, whatsoever! And we would stay here again and highly recommend it!! There are some minor repairs required to the shower and toilet seat. The shower door kept getting unhinged. My partner could easily put it back on track. And the toilet seat is rickety!An easy fix for the property managers. Just needs a toilet seat that is properly affixed.These are minor, but worth being attended to.

We booked for a week, yet there were just three small trashbags (2 in the kitchen/living room and one in the bathroom). Also there was no teatowel to dry the dishes. We had no detergent to use the washing machine in our apartement. Support did not help me at all and just told me to look in the cupboards and use what is there. I searched these cupoard three times and didn't find trashbags, detergent or teatowels.

• florent (2/5): Une très mauvaise expérience nocturne pendant 7 nuits - L'emplacement geographique et le style proposé Je logeais dans l'appartement 3 de la Résidence. Mon critère principal lorsque je réserve une location c'est d'avoir un grand lit. Malgré ma requête je me suis trouvé face à un lit d'1m40 et 2m de long. On est un couple grand et on s'est retrouvé plus qu'à l'étroit dans ce lit. De plus, le lit se trouve au niveau de la mezzanine, donc toute la chaleur de la journée monte. Il a fait assez chaud à Dublin sur la période où j'étais, et le soir c'était difficile de dormir avec la chaleur accumulé en hauteur. Il aurait fallu a-minimum que le logement soit doté d'un ventilateur. Au bout de 2 jours présent, la porte d'entrée était cassé, donc n'importe qui aurait pu rentrer. Le salon et la chambre sont côté rue, et comme les fenêtres ne sont qu'un simple vitrage, on entend tout ce qui se passe dans la rue, les gens qui discutent, la circulation, le bip du feu piéton... et cela toute la nuit. Enfin, il y a un chauffe eau qui, lorsqu'on arrive n'est pas en fonction Marche. Donc à la première utilisation il n'y a plus d'eau chaude. C'est un comble que ce soit à nous de gérer cela. Et la dernière nuit, le chauffe eau s'est mis en surchauffe et l'alarme s'est déclenchée à 5h du matin dans le couloir de l'escalier commun. Bref, je ne recommande pas cet appartement

• Cathy (8/5): Great location with right amenities - This place was close to the bus stop that took almost every where we wanted to go in Dublin. Even though I could hear a car alarm and the ticking of the crossing signal, my mildly deaf husband couldn’t hear anything. The room was the appropriate size for our stay and was comfortable too. Being in a foreign country, we had a problem with the hot water, but the host was quick to help us solve the issue. We also noticed that the toilet seat was loose and the shower door kept coming off its tracks, but we let them know about this issue too.

The apartment was very hot with the windows opening only a fraction and with the noise outside, it did make it tricky for a restful night sleep. I imagine it would be a lot better in the cooler months. The toilet seat was also broken on arrival.

I would avoid at all costs, book a hotel with competent staff or air BnB with responsive hosts. Never had such a sleepless and disturbed 4 nights stay anywhere.

The team was nice, communicating effectively through (Booking app) messages. Complementary stuff gives an idea of these people knowledge about valuing their guests 😎🙏🏼 No elevator (troublesome when carrying heavy luggage). I came in during a very cold weather and the warmers weren’t switched on, thus it took around 8 hours till it became comfortable.

What you can't see from the listing is this: Ceilings in bedroom and kitchen are maybe 6'-0" if I'm being generous. My 6'-4" husband had to continually hunch or keep cracking his head. That was the biggest surprise and disappointment for us. I'll start with the positives: * It looks exactly like the pictures. * It's well fit out with all the appliances you'd expect in an apartment. * The host company was responsive on entry questions. * The location is near a lovely park and in a safe and quiet neighborhood (even with construction next door, which we saw but never heard). * Easy access to bus lines to get all over the city. * It's easy entry and access and even without an elevator the stairs aren't bad. * The apartment and the building were well maintained. * Extremely clean! Now for the less-than-positive because while it was good it could've been great. * The bed is in a niche with only one person having access to get in/out; it's already a double bed so with this, may be better suited for a single than a couple. * The coffee maker is Nespresso. Lovely when you have the handful of pods provided but a pain to find to buy more. * We didn't get two full sets of towels, just a bath mat, two bath towels, and a single hand towel. * It's stocked for your entry, not your full stay. Usually okay with this but not when I'm booking from a hotel site instead of a b-b type. * Roku TV. Have your own streaming accounts or no TV.
