Guest Reviews
- Jennifer (10/5): - The top floor restaurant was a highlight. Beautiful space surrounded by windows. Food was excellent and staff delightful.
- Paul (10/5): - Great location, great restaurant, great accommodation and great staff.
- Grace (2/5): - The hotel itself was nice and the staff were lovely and it was very clean! The room was beyond small and outrageously priced for what you get. I was aware booking it that it was a small room but I never imagined how small it would actually be!
- Eamon (3/5): - Room was clean
Japanese toilet Room was by the road and the window let's a lot of noise in
We wanted to use the hot tub and sauna but they were not available
- Veronique (8/5): - Hulpvaardigheid personeel
- Jacqueline (8/5): Lovely stay at The Leinster9 - Lovely staff, comfortable room, good location Parking can be tricky
- Bernadette (10/5): Location and accommodation super - Staff and hotel so nice great location will definitely stay there again All so perfect
- Jennifer (9/5): - Location was convenient. Staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. Bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.
- Anita (10/5): Loved everything about The Leinster! - Beautiful cosy hotel, in a quiet scenic location near the parks and great for walking into the city. The staff especially at reception were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were luxuriously furnished and very clean. N/A

- Allison (9/5): Ideal location for a Dublin getaway - Located within close walking distance of all the sites on our itinerary, it was in a quieter, scenic area without the congestion and loud noise of a more centrally located hotel. The decor was lovely and felt fresh. The restaurant served wonderful food and drinks. The staff was very kind and accommodating. While my standard room was spacious compared to other properties at a similar price point, the large bed made it rather tight. It was perfect for one person w/ small luggage. Street noise (I was on 2nd floor) was still audible -something I think double-paned windows would do a great deal to remedy.
- Jennifer (9/5): Beautiful hotel and great location! Friendly staff and excellent breakfast! - The staff and rooms were lovely! Perfect location just outside of the noise zone but close enough to walk to most things! The shower drain was very slow, I had to watch the drain to make sure I didn’t flood the bathroom. The rooms were very modern but the next upgrade suggestion is double-panes windows.
- hugh (8/5): lovely hotel but check room size ! - good breakfast.Great location in historic Dublin. Room was tiny probably smallest ever stayed in.
- Artem (9/5): Great stay - Everything was great. Hotel room was clean and beatiful, there was everything needed. Breakfast was of a good quality. Canteen gets busy and the waiters can forget about what you ordered. This happened to me and this is the only reason why I reduced my rating.
- Pierre (7/5): Great location and upscale services. - Friendly staff, great location and overall design. Poor TV system and missing channels.
- Allison (10/5): Truly embracing - would not stay anywhere else. - What a little gem. The service everywhere I went was excellent (front desk, breakfast, bar). The room was small, but so well appointed, that it was my cozy place to come back to at the end of the day. Great location - I walked everywhere. Not a thing.
- Helen (10/5): -
- Jennifer (9/5): - The rooms were well appointed, with every amenity you could want. Robes and slippers, a heated toilet seat! The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room had plenty of space as well as natural light. Breakfast was excellent at the hotel restaurant, but there are other places close by if you want something else. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially when we arrived early. They worked hard to get our room ready so we could rest. You did need to use transportation to get to the attractions, such as Dublin Castle and Guiness Storehouse. However, the bus routes were easy to navigate and inexpensive. Still worth it!

Modern
I love the a la carte breakfast I won’t book the single bed room anymore but directly a standard one
- Hannah (8/5): -
- Wiebke (9/5): Lovely hotel near beautiful Merrion Square - Beautiful hotel in a good location.
I had booked the Nook which was tiny but cute. Because of an issue with the bathroom lights I was quickly given the closest unoccupied room which I think was actually a Superior and very nice. Comfy bed, beautiful bathroom, well-stocked mini bar. I had a great stay and am grateful to the staff for dealing with this so pleasantly. The room was rather chilly and the control panel for the air con was not exactly intuitive. To be fair though, I didn’t raise this with staff and just snuggled up in the lovely bed.
The bathrobes were flimsy and ridiculously small.
I didn’t like that I got quite a few messages through the booking app in the months leading up to my stay with promotions for special offers and the chains new hotel in Berlin. In my opinion the messages in booking are supposed to be for communication regarding my reservation, not to spam me with other offers.

- Aoife (10/5): - Gorgeous interiors, well sized rooms and a 10-15min to Grafton Street. The staff were so helpful with any requests we had. We were able to avail of an early check in and late check out for a small charge None
- Clifford (9/5): -
- Marie (9/5): - Beautiful boutique hotel with fab decor. Spa was disappointing but over all I would highly recommended. The spa was very small and breakfast service was quite slow.
- Kenneth (5/5): - The room was so small that you could not even turn in the room or have any luggage on the floor space. Ridiculous sized room
- steven (10/5): -
- ALISHA (10/5): - The hotel was stunning and only a short walk to the city centre. Staff were so lovely and I was lucky enough to receive an upgrade. The Collins club was so nice and the drinks were lovely too. I only ate brunch at the hotel, I had the eggs benedict on gluten free toast. I had to wait a while as they did get my order wrong and I had to keep checking it was gluten free as I lost trust in my server, most of my friends (20 of us) finished their meal before I even got mine which was disappointing. I also had to ask to have this taken off the bill, it wasn't offered which again was a shame. However the food was lovely - eggs cooked to perfection!
Would recommend :)
- carodesousa (4/5): Felt like an amateur attempt at a top-notch hotel. - It is very well placed, trendy, with a very nice cocktail bar and well decorated. First, individual rooms are too small for what should be admissible in a four start hotels. Second, the staff is very nice but the whole thing felt like being attended to by well-meaning teenagers. Third, basic conditions in a hotel that purports to have this standard are simply not met. In my room, it was impossible to turn on the lights in the bathroom. I complained three times, three times they turned it on only for the lights to crash out again. No one though too check. Also, hooks were falling off the walls, and the only solution was to take them out and leave holes in the wall. At no point was there an attempt at compensation or apologies. Fourth, shockingly, there is no working area - there are two small tables in the reception, which are not for working, and then they will very kindly let you work in the cocktail bar until it opens up.
- Claire (10/5): Great location in lovely accommodation - Decor, heated toilet seat, comfy bed, friendly staff. Everything was great. Maybe a little expensive.
- Aisling (10/5): -
- Sinead (9/5): A new Happy Place for me..gorgeous hotel - What a beautiful hotel, I will 100% be returning. The design is exceptional, rooms are super comfortable with smart touches, cocktail bar is a must to visit and breakfast with a view finished our stay with a 10/10! The only downfall is parking.
- 舒琦 (9/5): Excellent stay - Location, friendly staff Noise from the corridor

- Christopher (10/5): -
- Gavin (9/5): Exceptional - - Friendly staff who went out of their way to assist.
- Room decor amazing.
- Bar staff fantastic. No daily replacement of water in the room that comes at a premium price.
- BRETT (10/5): Great location, great staff, great facilities, Breakfast is awesome. - Great service from check in.
Breakfast was brilliant and very friendly staff
- Emily (10/5): perfect girls trip relaxing getaway! - the place was so cute, breakfast was included and it was a realllyy nice breakfast. the bed was so comfortable. the shower pressure was amazing the room was smaller than i anticipated
- Christopher (10/5): Excellent - The staff at the Leinster make your stay special. Great location, compact room but very comfortable beds with great amenities. The gym is surprisingly well equipped for a small hotel.
The breakfast and quality of food and drinks at the Leinster is fantastic. Cocktails at the Collins Club were great. It’s was my third time staying at the Leinster, and will definitely return. Unfortunately the steam room was out of order but other than that, everything was great.

- Michelle (8/5): Beautiful place with a great restaurant. - Good location. Great restaurant on the premises. First room the air conditioner was broken but they gave me an upgraded room so that was great.
- Laura (5/5): Convenient location, helpful staff, review room details prior to booking - The hotel is lovely, the staff were so helpful. I needed documents printed and it was no trouble. They also held onto my bags after checkout which really helped me out. The hotel decor is fun and vibrant and the city centre location was perfect. I booked a single room and while the decor was lovely and the bed was comfortable, the room itself was tiny and the sink was leaking. I needed to work and there was no desk or chair to sit on. There was no space for my luggage and it made the space even more cramped having to keep it on the floor between the bed and door. Its fine for a very quick stopover and if you're traveling extremely light, but I think the limitations of the room should be better communicated. It wasn't worth the price paid.
- John (2/5): - It was too expensive for the tuesday night
- Seamus (3/5): - Breakfast was v good. Dinner was excellent Room was cold. No drinking water in the room.
- Lizzie (10/5): Stunning and just what we needed - We loved the decor and the vibe in the hotel. It was such a beautifully decorated and was very calm. Our bathroom was alittle small and would of loved it to be alittle closer to the centre but honestly we loved it

- Rachel (7/5): - Japanese toilet , sauna & steam room The rooms were tiny & difficult when 2 people were staying in them
- Jemma (8/5): -
- Eoin (10/5): - Beautiful hotel
- Joe (7/5): Satsifactory yet also disappointing for a Christmas break - Bed and nice decor Location, located pretty far away from nearest secure car parking. Setanta car park is their ‘partner’ though not obvious from website and only told when checking out, when we stated this wasn’t clear on the website we were told it was on the website. Sign for cocktail bar opening at 4pm, came back to be told it wasn’t open that day, would have preferred being told this in advance. Breakfast was cold, not all items available, again only gold when went to order. Couple behind were different options to ourselves. When getting a drink ordered classic cocktail but advised wasn’t possible though question was not asked to bar staff, I asked directly to bar staff and they were able to provide. 5 star service advertised though our stay was disappointing.
- Chris (9/5): -

- Justin (10/5): Highly recommended - Lovely facilities, clean and comfortable. Lovely staff. Parking can be an issue - Q-park far from hotel, especially if you have luggage. Street parking available but needs to be renewed every 3 hours.
- Justin (10/5): Lovely hotel. Highly recommend staying. - Beautiful rooms, comfortable and great location. Parking available but far from hotel if you have luggage. Street parking available in front of hotel but need to renew parking every 3 hours.

- Olga (10/5): Loved the suite and breakfast - The suite was beautifully decorated and very spacious. Breakfast was excellent. Very kind staff. Small but very well-equipped gym. Overall, had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The room service dinner was so so, the food arrived quite cold.
- oceane (9/5): Great place to stay in Dublin - The staff was very nice and the room beautifully decorated. We could check in early which was great. The room was equipped with a Dyson, very efficient! Maybe a bit far from the Dublin center but nothing we cannot overcome
- Richard (1/5): Room 214 is a Shoebox/Closet - The location is ok and the decor is lovely. I just wanted to sleep so didn't see the facilities. I was in Room 214 which was tiny. Certainly the smallest hotel room I have stayed in in Dublin, including cheaper establishments. It was approximately 8x10 feet in total square foot at the very most. Most of this space was occupied by the (single) bed and a small desk/minibar. There was no means of storing luggage or hanging clothes other than leaving them in the small square of available floor space. The bed touched both the window and the door to the room when opened. I am around 5'11. Apparently the smallest room in the hotel. The designers were simply being greedy in making this a hotel room. It's too small. It was cold too - heating didn't work. Reception seemed ready for complaints and weren't helpful when I complained about the size.
