Guest Reviews
- Mary (8/5): - The location can’t be topped. Easy from the airport with a shuttle and to and from Heuston with a bus or shuttle. Walk to everything else. Bathrooms were very clean, sheets were clean. Older building with some broken things, moldy smells. Would give it 5 stars if it were half the price, but maybe that’s Dublin?
- Janice (2/5): - Did not get the room I reserved and was reassigned to a Room that was very small, hot, and loud street music and noise well till 2-3 am. Our only window we were able to open let in all the noise from a bar across the street. Bathrooms were clean and staff were nice, II would not recommend or return here.
- Danielle (2/5): Dirty low budget hostel and not a lodge or a hotel - We had the worst experience ever with this hotel. We were not sent a code to enter as was mentioned.
Checking at 3pm they say on their listing, we were there at 3.30pm and none of the rooms were ready. There was NOBODY onsite to speak to. We spent ages on the phone with the manager where we begged him to send us a code to enter the room so we can get dressed and get ready for a concert. We got the room at 5.15pm. The manager called my friend at 6.30pm when we were already at the concert to let her know that her room was ready!!!!
There are shared 2 smelly bathrooms at our floor. We tried a bathroom upstairs and it was like a horror show.
The pillows and mattresses are stained but covered with clean sheets.
One of the wooden rails in a top bunk bed was broken and nearly cut my friend’s forehead.
Random hazardous stuff around the building like a very long ladder standing against a wall in the “language room” where we were told we can get ready.
We just wanted to get out of there asap.
- Beth (6/5): - We selected this location for the location and price. No parking, have to park almost a mile north and walk all our luggage over. No lifts. Have to haul luggage up 4 flights of stairs. Beds were ok, just rickety bunk beds. It worked for what we needed it for. More of a hostel experience
Super Kontakt!
- Doug (10/5): - Very clean restrooms.
- Brian (10/5): Ireland vacation 2024 - We had a fantastic stay! We have 7 people in our party for this trip, and the room we had worked perfectly. The facilities were good and clean, and the beds were comfy. There was plenty of security measures getting into the building and our individual rooms. James and Aidan were very responsive communicating with us if we had any questions. They are clearly renovating/updating the building in several areas (in a good way), as you can see the work in progress in a couple areas. I would definitely come back here for my next trip to Ireland. Thanks so much!
- Héctor (10/5): - Ubicación excelente
- Nick (10/5): - Great place to stay with a bigger group and has a perfect location
- Jade (8/5): Séjour agréable entre amies - Very good ! On a passé de super moments dans cette auberge de jeunesse, très bien située. Point négatif sur l'isolation, compensé par la gentillesse des gérants !
- Anina (10/5): Good but no reply - It was very nice, good facilities for the Price. But after I Got Home, I thought I forgot something and they will not reply me back about the item
- Valerie (8/5): - We found the hostel to be clean and comfortable overall. Convenient for getting to the tourist sites. Great value. We had a private room with a queen bed and it was very comfortable although linens were a bit worn. Shared kitchen and bathroom areas were clean. Hot shower was excellent. Bus stop just outside front door. Many shops and restaurants nearby although it's not in the best of neighborhoods. Workmen were there during the day painting walls and working on doorways. They were considerate and kept noise and dust to a minimum.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Worst place ever - The room we booked was not the room we ended in. The entrance door was battered and run down and didn’t look like an entrance at all. There was no heating in the room and the beds weren’t safe to sleep on as they rattled and had screws sticking out of them. There were stains on the mattresses.
It was a shared toilet and shower with strangers which we were not made aware of. When booking it said there would be 2 bathrooms for our 12 bed room, we ended up with a 10 bed and 1 shared toilet and 1 shared shower with no hot water.
Honestly one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed and will not be returning.
- Ayelen Veronica (10/5): Fantastico - Esperienza unica
- Rory (10/5): - Host was easy to communicate with very close to the city centre
- Rory (10/5): - Clear instructions from owner and easy to get around the city
- Trevor (10/5): - A really central location 5 minutes from O'Connell Street and close to Temple Bar at a very reasonable price. I was on my own and stayed in a room with 4 bunk beds and a single bed.
- Chris (10/5): - Very good location and very easy to get around
