• David (10/5): Exceptional! - We loved everything about our stay at Porta Nera. From the very start, the service from the staff was exceptional. The rooms were well designed and furnished. And its a prime location making everywhere in Florence easily walkable. Everything together really made our Honeymoon feel special. There was one technical fault with the toilet. But the staff were exceptional and had it resolved immediately even on a public holiday/weekend.

• Lee (10/5): Our favorite place to stay in Florence - Let's start with the staff. Every time we've stayed here Manuela has been great! Helpful suggestions, always smiling and very accommodating. The location is easy to get to and close to the historic center. The rooms are beautiful and the beds are very comfortable. If we're in Florence and we have a choice, this is where we're staying. What I don't like is that good reviews mean more guests stay there. It's a great place and I want them to be successful. But, selfishly I'd prefer if we could keep it to ourselves.

We were especially happy that the room was ready exactly on time, making our check-in smooth and easy. Location & Atmosphere: The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of everything but surprisingly quiet. We didn’t hear any street noise, which made for a very peaceful stay. The Staff: The entire team was amazing and professional. A special thanks to the lovely Emanuela, who was so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. This is truly a winning place in Florence. If you’re looking for a clean, quiet, and perfectly located spot with top-notch service, this is it!

Within a short walking distance you have all main city attractions, restaurants and everything else you would need. Also possible to go walking to the train station even with luggages.

• Susanne (10/5): Tolle Unterkunft, jederzeit wieder 😃 - Sehr sauber und stylisch eingerichtet. Im Zimmer hatten wir eine Nespresso Maschine, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Die Lage war perfekt und in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse gelegen und doch nur ein paar Minuten vom Zentrum entfernt. Manuela hat uns toole Typs zum Essen gegeben. Alle im Hotel waren sehr nett. es war alles perfekt.

It was extremely clean and fantastic location Nothing!
• Charlotte (10/5): Echt een aanrader! - De locatie is geweldig. Je kunt vanuit het hotel overal goed naartoe lopen. Naar het treinstation, winkels, leuke horeca. De host was enorm vriendelijk en we hebben een mooie upgrade gekregen naar een ruime kamer. Alles was super schoon en de inrichting van het gehele hotel inclusief de kamer was erg mooi. Eigenlijk was alles echt heel goed. Het bed was voor mij persoonlijk iets te zacht, maar dat is natuurlijk een persoonlijke voorkeur.

• OZGUR (10/5): A perfectly located, comfortable, and high-quality stay in Florence. - We especially appreciated the central heating, which was quiet and very comfortable during the winter. The complimentary room upgrade made our stay even more enjoyable. • Francesco (7/5): Si può fare qualcosina in più... - Abbiamo apprezzato la posizione della struttura, l'ascensore e la possibilità di prendere un caffè/te caldo in autonomia. Non siamo riusciti a dormire bene perché il letto purtroppo era troppo morbido, scomodo e anche i cuscini, seppure due a testa, erano troppo scomodi e non consentono la conciliazione del sonno, ahimè!
