- Joanne (10/5): - Very convenient where the hotel located. 3 minutes walk to the metro station. Half hour ride to airport via metro. Tram stops are just at the hotel main door. We can reach the main sightseeing points easily. Wifi , air conditioner are good. Staffs are very helpful. Price for the hotel is good. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

Only one small inconvenience - there are four steps to get to the elevator, so good luck if you have heavy suitcases.

The only complaint is that I asked for a place to keep my bags when I checked out since my flight was later and they just left them at the front desk, and did not tell me there was a locker room which I would have felt safer with. other than that, stay was great. Water got all over bathroom floor but it was clean. great value for money

- Nick (8/5): - For me, this is the second time I've stayed at this hotel, largely due to the convenient location at a reasonable price and because it meets my basic requirements. I quite like that it is a place with code entry to both the main lobby and your room, with only occasionally someone on the front desk. It makes things quite private, though 7 digits on a slightly hard to manage touch pad is a bit tricky to remember and correctly enter every time. The rooms are spacious, and just clean and comfortable enough without any extra trimmings. If, however, you want somewhere where you walk the city centre with no fuss and maximum privacy, you've found your hotel.

Mette a disposizione tutto quello di cui un viaggiatore può aver bisogno, come la possibilità di usare dei locker in attesa di poter entrare in stanza o dopo il check-out, la disponibilità di caffè e acqua nella lobby. La stanza è pulita e spaziosa. Unici due appunti: - oltre il caffè aggiungerei anche il te - il vetro doccia è 20 cm più corto del necessario e il bagno tende ad allagarsi
- JOSEPH (8/5): - L'hôtel est bien placé à proximité des transports.Il est possible d'aller jusqu'à l'aéroport. La personne qui travaille la nuit est très aimable.Je n'ai vu pratiquement personne en journée. La chambre est correcte avec une douche et des toilettes. Un peu d'équipements sportifs sur la terrasse pour se détende.La vue y est magnifique.Le café est offert deux fois. Il en manque une permanence à l'accueil. Il y a de l'eau chaude en bas mais une bouilloire dans la chambre sera mieux. L'eau devient stagnante et sort facilement de la salle de bain. Il faudra y retravailler un peu. Le réservoir des toilettes se remplit pas assez rapidement après avoir tiré la chasse. Pour l'ascenseur, il vaut mieux mettre une affiche en anglais aussi.

The AC/hearing was loud and could be heard at all times. The location is central even though it gets shady at night. Overall decent given the low price.

- Cornelia (10/5): The pillows!! - I had a great time staying at Maria Luisa. I was only there for two nights, but it was the perfect place for me to unwind after a couple days of hectic travelling. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was super comfortable (I had 2 fluffy pillows and 1 decorative pillow, which was super super nice after having to sleep with one flat pillow at my last hotel). My go-to if I ever return to Sofia!

- Elden (10/5): - I was really pleased with my stay due to the convenient location for exploring Sofia, the cleanliness and quality of the room and the friendliness of the staff. The hotel is situated near a central metro station and within easy walk of all of the main attractions in the city. It is also in a good location to be able to take tours from nearby around other areas of Bulgaria. It was also useful having a supermarket nearby. The room had a tv which was nice in the evenings after some busy days out. The staff were always friendly and made sure I had all the information needed. If I came back to Sofia, I would definitely stay here again, I felt it was great value for money considering the high room quality and great central location.

Shower was ok, bed and pillow were ok. I did not receive any email related to online check in and the reception was not very happy with it, even thought was not my fault. Location is very good, 3min walking from subway station right in the city center.

Friendly staff, decent WiFi, good size TV, excellent stretch, yoga, pilates, meditation area on the top floor: free coffee, teas and mineral water, modern building services, free secure lockers on the ground floor for luggage storage: All in all, a well run hotel.

Little things in the room were broken when you tried to use them and the all-important coffee facility downstairs also broke. Still, aside from that, it was fine.

Alles war sehr abgenutzt (Bad, Türen,Wände) Zimmer ohne Fenster nach außen, aber ein internes Fenster zu einem Fahrstuhlschacht, der die gesamte Nacht über ins Zimmer leuchtet. Tassen auf dem Zimmer mit gelblichen Rückständen innen. Das Einzig was wirklich gut ist, ist die Zentrumsnähe.

- Adriana (2/5): - I was sent an email with wrong details which made me very confused and had to contact the hotel to confirm that they haven't booked the wrong room. Me and my partner found the hotel quite easy. I was able to check online and was given a code to access the building. We were greeted by the receptionist, who was polite and friendly. There is a lift which did help us as we were on the second floor and had a large and heavy suitcase. On arrival on the second floor we noticed a massive spot in the carpet as if someone has just gone for a piss or spilled something. We decided to ignore it as this was not in our room. However, when we got to the room there were stains all over the carpet and there was a mouldy smell all over the room. The room we were given had a window overlooking the street and even though the window was closed, we could still hear the street noise. There was some kind of problem with the TV and it won't connect so we were unable to use it. With all this going on we decided that we did not want to stay in this hotel and had to book another place to stay for our 2 remaining nights in Sofia.

As the front desk insisted that I should have checked in on line while the link that they send me did not work. And he the front desk Kept on insisting that I should have done the check in on line completly egnoring deserving customer service. And the room was not ready at the check in time. Hotel looks tierd but after upgrading to suite it was much comfortabel. It is an ok place to stay for a short visit. The location is great by being close to the metro lines but the imidiate ambiant not so great.

I was mislead from the high stars reviews but probably most of them are fake. The hotel is good only for one night stay. I will not back in the future!

Perhaps soom rooms are not renovated? Located next to the famous market. Parking down the street. Water xnd tea available in the lobby. Fun decor. No issues though the code based locks were kinda annoying

- C (10/5): Nice hotel, very central location - Note - the hotel has a lift, but this is up about 3 stairs, so may not be suitable if you have mobility issues. The location is excellent, right by Serdika metro station (which has direct trains to the airport) and is very close to many touristic sights. My initial room was a little cramped and lacked a safe, when I asked about the safe the staff were super helpful and moved me to a different room that had one. Note this is a smart hotel, you unlock the front door and your room door with codes which are sent to you - works very well! There is a free coffee machine and soft drinks in the reception area, and an area with sofas + games console and an area with desks.

The location is super central. The codes make the hotel feel safe. One issue I had was with the flooring in the bathroom - this needs retile-ing ideally. There was also a hole near the extractor fan in the bathroom. Additionally, a kettle and tea etc in the room would have been nice rather than having to go to the lobby.

I booked a economy room but got a free upgrade to a nicer room. The room and bathroom were very clean. Comfortable bed. Eco friendly shampoo dispensers. Never seen before at such a hotel but they provide free (non alcoholic) drinks at the reception area. (Soft drinks, water, hot drinks) There's a small roof terrace and a simple fitness room. Would definitely come back to this hotel.

- Estephany (10/5): - This was a perfect play to stay during my visit with my toddler. Hotel staff is awesome! Hotel has an elevator, easy access to Metro, busses and taxis. Center location for most of Bulgaria’s main attractions. Free coffee, tea & soft drinks. Convenient walk to MANY restaurants & places to explore including a mosque across the street and a museum. Nightlife not far either & hotel was great with helping us book tours. They accommodated a late check out(it was available during our stay) and this let us sleep in. Lockers were super helpful because we were able to leave our bags there while we explored a little more before heading to the airport. Airport by taxy is only about 10-15 euro (25/30 min drive) This hotel was perfect for us! Great rates great service No complaints! Rooms are clean & spacious. Thank you staff for making our 4 day stay with you awesome. Oh and for always responding to me via what’s app, you’re all so helpful & great.

- Trevor (6/5): Introvert and attentive - We chose this hotel due to its proximity to the bus hub and central Sofia. It was mid range which we expected. The front desk was always very helpful. This is a nice functional hotel.it is a short walk to the main Sofia street.
