• Sovet (8/5): Confort et localisation parfaite pour un citytrip à Athènes. - Très jolie chambre, décorée avec goût, literie très comfortable, beau linge de lit. Aménagement moderne. Eclairages design et fonctionnels. Salle de bain très jolie aussi avec un grand miroir et tout le confort nécessaire ( draps de bain, seche cheveux, peignoirs et panfoufles). Les gels douche et shampoing à l'huile d'argan étaient super. La chambre était très propre et le ménage est fait tous les jours avec soin. Localisation parfaite pour visiter la ville (juste en face de la station de métro, proche des restaurants,...) J'ai moins apprécié le bruit venant de la rue. La chambre étant cependant très bien insonorisée à l'intérieur (on n'entend absolument aucun bruits ni du couloir ni des autres chambres) l'insonorisation extérieure pourrait être améliorée, ainsi que le nettoyage des vitres. Ces deux suggestions d'amélioration n'impliquent en rien le fait que je recommande ce logement et que j'y reviendrai si l'occasion se présente.

• Kthorndy44 (10/5): The stay exceeded my expectations! - Great location and amazing value! The checkin process was easy and contactless and the host was very responsive via text. The room was comfortable and well stocked. There were even starbucks coffee pods for the coffee machine.

• Melina (10/5): The best location in Athens - We stayed at Athens Design Suites and absolutely loved it.The apartment is beautifully decorated and feels instantly welcoming.The bed was super comfortable with lovely pillows and fresh, clean sheets.The bathroom was spotless and nicely sized, which made our stay even more pleasant. The location honestly couldn’t be better. Right in the heart of Monastiraki — you can walk everywhere! We didn’t need a taxi once, which was such a bonus. Christina was incredibly kind and helpful, always checking in and making sure we had everything we needed. The communication was excellent throughout our stay. When we come back to Athens, we’ll definitely stay here again. Highly recommended! We liked everything.

• Omer (1/5): Definitely not worth. - Location Disappointing stay, poor maintenance and cleanliness Even though the host may write a comment we didn’t report it, this issue clearly appears in previous guests’ reviews as well, so it seems to be an ongoing problem that hasn’t been properly addressed. The bathroom had a strong unpleasant smell throughout our stay, and the front of the cabinet was peeling. Half of the lights didn’t work, and although we reported it, no one came to fix it. The room wasn’t properly cleaned: hair, dust, and stains everywhere. Walls are not soundproof, and noise from other rooms is constant. Definitely not worth €100-200 per night.

• Sarah (8/5): - Die Unterkunft sieht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern und ist mitten in Athen. Christina, die Propertymanagerin antwortet immer sofort und freundlich. Der Checkin ist erst um 15:00 Uhr, und wir durften schon um 12:30 Uhr in die Unterkunft. Das war sehr entgegenkommend. Nach Buchung habe ich eine suspekte WhatsApp erhalten, in der ich meine Zahlungsdaten verifizieren sollte. Die Nachricht war nicht von der Unterkunft. Die Unterkunft hatte (hat?) demnach ein Sicherheitsleck.

Lit confortable, bel ameublement et déco. Bon emplacement central mais rue bruyante. Très convenable pour un court séjour. Douche et toilettes auraient besoin d’être rafraîchi. Toilettes bruyante. Vieil immeuble, donc surprenant lorsqu’on y entre mais l’étage de l’hotel est rénovée et très bien.

• Morgan (6/5): - The bed was very comfortable and the location was great! Super close to everything we wanted to do and plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. There was no staff present at any time during our stay. The cleaning staff let us in in the morning to drop our bags off then we received a text when our room was ready. They gave us codes to all of the doors so there was never any interaction with any front desk staff. The rooms are on the fourth floor of a pretty run down building. The room looks nice at first glance, but when you look closer it is pretty obvious they just threw some Ikea furniture in them and called it good. There was a very unpleasant smell in the bathroom from the time we checked in until we left, and the front of the cabinet in the bathroom was peeling off.

Christina, the staff person we dealt with via WhatsApp, was excellent - quick responses and very efficient. If you're looking for a lively neighborhood with plenty to see and do within walking distance, this is a good bet.

Christina our host, was extremely efficient and accommodating, storing our luggage for a few hours after checkout. She really came to the rescue when our car to the airport didn’t turn up. Thank you Christina! A special thanks to the housekeeper (Leah?) who did a great job and always had a smile for us. We will definitely stay here next time we’re in Athens.
• Andreas (9/5): Sehr gute Lage, modern, sehr sauber. - Sehr moderne Ausstattung, sehr sauber und alles drin und man hat gut Platz. Sehr gute Lage besonders für touristische Ausflüge und hervorragend mit der U-Bahn zu erreichen. Das Treppenhaus ist etwas runtergekommen. Und dass die Dusche im Bad keine Tür hat, sorgt schnell für Überschwemmungen.
• Treena (10/5): - Room was a really good size, really clean and comfortable. The Property itself is a bit sketchy to get to. Instructions were clear but you have to go up to the fourth floor through a multi tenant/use property using an elevator with no inner door! Was so close to the Metro and walkable to the Acropolis and area. Be aware that this property is licensed as a short term rental, not a hotel, so there is no onsite person and the local tax is 8€ not 2€ because of that.
• Jesus (10/5): - I just stayed for one night but I thought it was a nice room. Clean, easy check in, good location, wifi worked well, I had a good experience with it.
• Stella (10/5): - Non avremmo potuto scegliere meglio, l’ubicazione della struttura è ottima, si possono raggiungere tutti i luoghi di interesse a piedi, ma in ogni caso si ha sia la fermata della metro che del bus davanti il portone di ingresso. La stanza è completa di tutti i comfort, pulita e moderna, e Christina, la manager, è stata molto gentile e disponibile, sempre presente ma mai invadente. Consigliatissimo.

They offered to store our bags after checkout so we could continue to explore which was very helpful. Monistiraki is super close, as well as the metro. The bed was so comfortable too. Some traffic noise, but all in all, 12/10, would stay again.

• Ioanna (9/5): Would definitely recommend - The hotel's location is excellent! Just 2-3 minutes walk to Monastiraki. The room was very spacious, and the bed very comfortable, and big! Christina, the property manager, was very helpful, and would respond to any questions straight away. I would definitely recommend them! This isn't about the hotel per se, but good to know in case they can speak to their neighbours - the floor above us was making loud banging noises - not sure if there was a renovation happening, but it wasn't nice waking up to a loud banging noise.
• D.g. (6/5): Not a hotel, an overpriced air bnb room - Rooms were spacious. Good location near the metro. Christina (air bnb assistant) was a helpful but unlike a hotel which 24/7, she was only available on whatsapp and only during certain hours. Supermarket down below, at street level is nice. This is NOT a hotel or a house. The 'suites' are separate rooms - the 4th floor of a building, which they dry walled into separate rooms, in an old building in Athens city. The kind of building that you would expect to find yourself in a bathtub full of ice with one kidney missing. Also, walls and windows are not sound proof, you can hear all the noise + slamming doors in the floor where the apartment is + on the street below. Super dodge elevator that doesn't even have an inside door - you can literally see and touch the all floors and the entrance doors as the elevator moves through each floor. The staircase is winding and made of marble, smoothed down by use over the years - slippery. Not easy to find, just a door with #12 on - unlocked, that you enter the building. Christina wanted 70€ for an airport taxi transfer when I enquired. It cost me 5€ to take an uber to the bus stop where the airport bus leaves + 12€ for the ticket. Everyone here in Greece seems to quadruple the price of things from June - Aug. It's ridiculous - given it's very much 'Southern Europe'. Overall : expensive and not worth the money - rather stay in an actual hotel. There are many you can find. As a female, staying alone, I regreted my decision.

• Darlene (10/5): - I had a wonderful stay at this suite — it was exceptionally clean, stylish, and comfortable. The bathroom was updated with modern fixtures, and I appreciated thoughtful touches like the provided robe and slippers. The location couldn't have been better, just a two-minute walk from the metro and surrounded by plenty of shops, sights, and excellent dining options. What truly set this stay apart, though, was the property manager. She was incredibly kind and went out of her way to help me during an urgent situation, and her support made a big difference in my trip. I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again when I return to Athens.
• Terri (8/5): - The entry and elevator was a bit less than expected. Once we got in our floor the room was very nice. We had the Iconic and it was very spacious and comfortable. It was self check-in. Never actually saw anyone but the cleaner every day. Christina (the manager) was available via text and was very responsive.

• Natasha (6/5): - The property was located 2 minutes from monastiraki square which was ideal and very convenient. The property was clean and staff was lovely and communicated well. The only down side is that the room is not sound proof, as during our stay we could here people laughing in the rooms next to us and there was construction in th building next to the room. The other downside was the local tax we were to pay after the stay went from 8 euros to 32 euros so ask before hand as they are able to charge whatever they like. Otherwise its a nice hotel
• ANDREW (4/5): - Cons. Look at the pictures. We were shocked when we pulled up and the entrance to the building is as shown. No communication before hand and since we were using WiFi had no information on how to get into the room. Graffiti as shown and homeless sleeping close by. The building lobby and elevator were dirty and the elevator smelled terrible. Pros. The room itself was as pictured, clean, nice shower, espresso machine, two bottles of water and nice towels.
• victoria (6/5): - Christina was very helpful but never on premise. There is constant noise all night outside with homeless on the street and garbage trucks all night. The hotel has construction starting at 7:30 am with drilling and hammering every morning. Not quite at all
