• Adeline (10/5): Magnifique - Wow, un hôtel magnifique ! On ne savait pas à quoi s’attendre mais on a pas été déçu ! Le personnel a été très accueillant et disponible pour nous donner des indications pour la ville. La chambre était incroyable avec un lit énorme. Nous recommandons cet hôtel à 100%. Il est très bien situé pour accéder au centre ville (moins de 10 minutes à pied) Nous avons apprécié le petit déjeuner qui était très bon !

• Eric (8/5): Bonne expérience - Séjour de 2 nuits L'hôtel ressemble à un chalet de montagne (beaucoup de bois). Sa situation est particulière en hauteur. La réception n'est pas facile d'accès. L'avantage est qu'il nous a semblé assez calme (on n'entend pas trop les chiens). L'ascension vers la vieille de Gyrokaster est assez simple par un raccourci (20 minutes de bonne grimpette) Pas vraiment de stationnement mais le personnel très serviable est parti garer notre véhicule sur un terrain plus bas. Chambre correcte et confortable, sans plus. Petit déjeuner très bon. Nous n'avons pas testé le restaurant mais les clients semblent satisfaits. L'emplacement n'est pas forcément des plus pratiques mais en même temps cela fait le charme de l'établissement. PMR s'abstenir. L'accès au chateau (à pied) est en tout cas très simple.

Modern yet holds the charm you want from your visit to Gjirokaster! - We had an amazing stay at Stone Sky Gjirokaster and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Communication with the host was excellent, and the check-in was simple and stress-free. The property itself is beautifully renovated and perfectly balances modern luxury with the historic charm that makes Gjirokaster so special. The breakfasts each morning were phenomenal, and the views overlooking the city were unforgettable. The location was also perfect: just a short walk to the Old Bazaar, but far enough away to avoid the heavy foot traffic and day-trip buses. Overall, a wonderful experience and an ideal place to stay while exploring Gjirokaster.

The location is perfect very close to the old town, only around 10 minutes walking distance, but still peaceful and quiet with incredible panoramic views over the mountains and the valley. The hotel itself is beautiful, extremely clean, stylish, and very well maintained. You can really feel the care and attention to detail everywhere: from the rooms to the terrace areas and traditional stone architecture. The combination of authentic local style with modern comfort is done perfectly. The staff were genuinely wonderful incredibly kind, welcoming, smiling, and always ready to help. You feel more like a guest in someone’s beautiful home than in a hotel. Their hospitality made the whole experience even more special. And the breakfast… honestly one of the highlights of my entire Albania trip. Fresh, delicious, beautifully prepared, and served with a breathtaking view over the mountains. Sitting there in the morning with coffee, fresh juice, local food, and that scenery was unforgettable. The room was spotless, very comfortable, quiet, and cozy. Slept perfectly. The atmosphere of the whole place feels calm, warm, and authentic. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gjirokastër. One of those rare places that actually looks even better in real life than in the photos.

• Kashanna Lovey (9/5): - The room was extremely clean and we loved the decorations across the hotel. It felt homely and the breakfast was lovely! It's only a short 10 minute walk from the city centre which made it easy to explore the area. Also a short drive away from nice wineries. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. They helped us with our bags as the hotel is up a flight of stairs and there is also no lift in the property. The only downside was that parking was a bit inconvenient. The hotel's main door is located up a steep ramp where we had to unload our bags. And the parking spots were a bit further down. It's only a short walk away but it's definitely a hike back to the hotel. Our room was also on the last floor and the ceiling was sloped, which was an issue for my boyfriend who's quite tall. But I had no issues 😂

• Bita van Voorst (7/5): Wat een fantastisch ontbijt - Hotel Stone Sky ligt hoog op de bergen en biedt een prachtig uitzicht vanuit de terrassen waar je ontbijt. Vanaf hier klim je in 15 min naar de historisch centrum. Onze kamer was groot genoeg voor 3 personen. Douche was klein maar schoon. Ontbijt was fantastisch! Beste ontbijt tijdens ons 12 dagen reis hebben we hier gehad. Veel keuze en lekker vers buiten op de terras met uitzicht op de bergen. Onze kamer had geen uitzicht terwijl het wel met uitzicht op bergen en tuin beschreven stond. De gordijnen verduisterden niet en zelf snachts scheen licht vd spotlights naar binnen. Daardoor hebben we helaas slecht geslapen.

Άριστη τοποθεσία, καινούριο πέτρινο, με παραδοσιακό στυλ αλλά ταυτόχρονα και μοντέρνο. Δωμάτια μεγάλα και διακοσμημένα με λεπτομέρεια! Καλό πρωινό να ξεκινήσεις τη μέρα σου και υπέροχη θεα! Ανυπομονώ να ξαναπάω! Δε θα το συνιστούσα σε άτομα με κινητικά προβλήματα.

• Angeles (8/5): Hotel con encanto en Gjirocaster - Lo que más nos gustó fue el desayuno que estuvo genial . La ubicación está cerca del centro histórico . Las vistas desde la terraza están muy bien. Las camas muy cómodas y las vistas a la montañas son bonitas. La habitación era una triple y nos pareció algo pequeña. El acceso con el coche es muy complicado con una gran cuesta con un carril.

Helaas was het restaurant nog gesloten en het is best stijl omhoog naar het centrum. Wij vonden de bedden iets te zacht maar dat is maar net wat je gewend bent.
• Nikki (10/5): Stay here if you can! - We had an amazing stay at the Stone sky Hotel. The views from the front terrace are gorgeous. We stayed two nights, and each morning we couldn’t wait to get out and sit on the sunny Terrace and enjoy one of the best breakfast we’ve ever had! The staff is so kind and enhanced every minute of our stay. Rooms are bright and clean. I like to sleep with a window open, and I was able to open a window in our room. I would love to stay at this hotel again if I ever have the chance to come back! Everything was wonderful. Just know that the property, as well as the entire town, sits on a hill. We enjoyed all the exercise/stair climbing we got!

All staff super friendly, and you can see that they are honestly trying that you would feel as welcome as possible in the hotel. Our room was small but very cozy, clean had all necesarry things, everything seemd quite new. Location, a bit far from old town, but the route was not so hard to get there, and owner showed and explained where the way to reach it easier. I would rate 11 from 10!!! Only thing was a bit sad, that was not yet a season and restaurant did not worked, thay said that it will be opend in May. But still would be nice to hace some option for small snack like sandwich, fries or chease. Only bar was working.

• Elena (10/5): Absolut empfehlenswert - Hier wurde Tradition mit moderner Austattung kombiniert und dies ist wirklich erste Klasse gelungen. Sehr sauber. Sehr nettes und zuvorkomendes Personal. Das Bett ist sehr gemütlich. Super Frühstück. Sogar das Beste unserer Albanienreise. Die Burg sowie die Altstadt sind fußläufig erreichbar. Ich empfehle es ohne Abstriche.

Super behulpzaam personeel. Steile oprit naar het hotel. De auto werd wel keurig vlakbij geparkeerd door een medewerker.

• papaspyros (10/5): - Το ξενοδοχείο βρίσκεται σε πολύ καλό σημείο με πολύ ωραία θέα. Τα δωμάτια είναι πολύ όμορφα, περιποιημένα και καθαρά. Είμαστε πολύ ικανοποιημένοι από το πρωινό το οποίο έχει πολλά προϊόντα για να πάρεις την απαιτούμενη ενέργεια. Όσον αφορά το προσωπικό του ξενοδοχείου είναι πολύ εξυπηρετικοί, ευγενεστατοι και πάντα πρόθυμοι να σε βοηθησουν σε οποιαδήποτε απορία έχεις. Un desayuno en esa terraza no se paga con dinero, no sólo por la vistas, sino porque fue un desayuno excepcional. Los anfitriones fueron muy correctos y atentos. La habitación triple en la que nos alojamos muy buen tamaño. El baño perfecto. Y la climatización también muy bien. Además, a pesar de lo que se menciona en Albania, permitían pagar con tarjeta sin ningún problema. Es difícil que vuelva a Gjirojkaster porque hay mucho mundo que descubrir, pero si volviera, no dudarían ni por un instante en alojarme en éste establecimiento. (he hecho un corta pega de mi opinion de otro hotel, porque me vale perfectamente!!!) Nada que objetar.

Un altro elemento un pò negativo é la posizione perché, sebbene il panorama spazia sulle colline circostanti, la struttura é fuori dal centro storico e occorre fare 60 gradini per arrivare alla reception. • Stefano (10/5): Beautiful boutique hotel in Berat - We had a wonderful room with nice view and plenty of light. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Breakfast is good (scrambled eggs are in a league of their own). The terrace is also a wonderful place where to relax or have an aperitif. It ia true that there are some stairs to deal with before reaching the entrance door but it's doable (if you don't have special problems) and they came down to collect our luggages. All in all we had a wonderful stay.
