• Aleksandr (9/5): Отличный вариант размещения для путешественников с авто, но парковка дорогая. - Хорошая локация, чистый, новый отель, достаточно большие комнаты. Персонал вежливый, хорошо говорит на английском. Внизу есть недорогой хороший ресторан. Парковка в наличии рядом (примерно 5 минут пешком), всегда есть места (днем может быть до 5 мест., ночью более 70 мест, но в целом в наличии имеются). Отличная транспортная доступность для авто (легко доехать, есть парковка рядом). По сути не апартаменты, так как нет плиты (как пояснили - пожарная безопасность). Гладильные принадлежности странные - невозможно использовать. Номера дали на разных этажах (на 2 и 11), приходилось постоянно бегать между этажами. Невнятная система дроп офф - чтобы договорится оставить машину на 10 минут, пришлось долго обсуждать с персоналом (но вопрос решили). Нет собственной парковки, а соседняя парковка относительно дорогая (23HKD днем, 90 HKD рабочая ночь, в выходные тариф почасовой). Нет рум сервиса, чтобы поужинать приходится спускаться (неудобно в день приезда). Довольно медленные лифты (с учетом номеров на разных этажах немного дискомфортно).

• Duncan (8/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel, close to the MTR, the shopping centre, very quiet. - We did not have breakfast It's location away from the heavy tourist area, the view out onto the mountain and it's quiet ambience. The layout of the unit was perfect for two people and appears to be a new and recently opened hotel... Would recommend it to those who do not want to tread the busy tourist areas & it is only one station stop away from Ocean Park....bonus This is constructive criticism only, which I hope you accept in the manner it is offered . Our room was lovely & we were very happy with it BUT, there was a small kitchen included (which was fabulous), however there were no tea-towels to dry crockery or cutlery, no dishwashing detergent to rinse the same and no cloth to wipe down the table, kitchen bench etc. the only option was to use a towel from the bathroom - not my ideal choice. There were two cooking pots/utensils in the cupboard but NO cooktop to use them on...and they would have destroyed the microwave if used in that unit!!! So perhaps remove the temptation!! The cutlery & crockery were positioned at a dangerous height, far TOO high to be used safely by an average or shorter person. Given there were 2 fridges in the room, the small kitchen fridge could be removed and the cutlery & crockery placed on shelves installed in that space and make it safer & easier for people to access those items.. It would be good if there was a toaster however, this could be a hazard if it were to be left on without supervision.. We would definitely stay again in the future as it really suited our needs in terms of location, cleanliness and facilities.

The location is incredibly convenient, just a two-minute walk away from the Wong Chuk Hang MTR station with easy access via a footbridge. Our room was spacious, featuring a separate living area and bedroom, which felt like a home rather than a hotel room. We were lucky enough to receive an upgrade to the mountain view room, and the view was simply amazing! The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and to our delight, we discovered it was a Sealy mattress—definitely a great choice for a restful night's sleep. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, the staffs at the Front Desk were all very attentive and courteous. Would definitely come back for stay!

It takes only about an hour to get from the airport to the hotel, and there is a bridge connecting them, which is very handy. The rooms are spacious and clean. No drinking water in the room and one has to buy bottled water or obtain from common area on 3rd floor. 5. Hotel is difficult to access by car as drop off point is at the back on small road. 6. Housekeeping: one day a card was pushed through my door at 10.40AM saying as my do not disturb light was on they could not clean the room so I had to request. This is hard as I do a lot of my work online in the room. 7. Bed too hard for my personal liking

• yuliya_lodya (10/5): 10/10 Hotel: Flawless Design, USB Everywhere & Steps from the MTR! - Shama Hub Metro South is an excellent new hotel located just 2 minutes from the MTR via a covered footbridge that leads directly into the building. The same bridge connects to a shopping mall with plenty of restaurants, shops, and supermarkets, making it super convenient. Our room was spotlessly clean, modern, and packed with thoughtful details. It included a microwave, a multi-socket adapter with USB ports, wireless phone chargers by the beds, and incredible automated blackout curtains that made the room pitch-dark even during the day. The bathroom was stocked with luxurious Smith & Co. amenities, eco-friendly toothpaste and brushes, and a touch-flush toilet. Our mountain-view room even had a washing machine, and detergent pods were available at reception for just 10 HKD! For those planning to visit Ocean Park, the location is perfect - just one MTR stop or a 10-minute walk away. A fantastic hotel with great attention to detail - highly recommended!
• agnes475 (2/5): Noisy - The staff of this hotel smiled to my face and then tortured me with noise and sleep deprivation each and every night. First they fooled me with a room upgrade to 1 bedroom room number 2103 and told me there's no one upstairs. I soon found out that not only there was someone upstairs, literally in each neighboring room there was someone aggressively hitting and slamming things each night. Right above my bed someone kept hitting the wall at 4AM, it was clearly deliberate. Even filming the noise and showing the videos to the staff did not help, they seemed amused. When I changed the room to 2601, they asked someone to drill, yes - drill! - near my room and pretended that the sound was made by toilet system and could not be switched off. The sound stopped immediately when I threatened with police report. Why did they do it? I suppose either someone asked them or because they wanted an enormous tip from me just so they let me enjoy my fully paid stay. By the way, the price of the room already charged 10% service charge, but apparently they want even more! Basically, these people are extortionists. I always say this, if the owner is not sharing the service charge with their customer service or if customer service wants even more money, they should complain to the owner or look for a better paid job! If you don't want to do the paid job that you voluntarily signed up for because I did not pay you a huge tip or because you don't like me, that's fine, I'll just go somewhere else, but torturing me with sleep deprivation just to make me pay is pretty much a crime and I will not tolerate any of it! I took plenty of videos of what happened and will keep them for as long as needed. Beware of this place, especially if you are wealthy, travel alone, not ready to pay thousands of HKD in tips and are noise sensitive.

• Matthew (8/5): Easy South side accommodation - Great place to stay on the South Side now that you can be in Admiralty in 7mins using the MTR on the doorstep. Go for Mountain View rather than City unless on a high floor, above 12. LuluBoaBoa highly recommended for food noodles and wanton and 15% discount applies as guest.
• David (5/5): Not guest friendly at all - The hotel is relatively new, the room is quite nice, very clean and the beds are really comfy..... the maid service was impeccable at her job and we really appreciated that. The front desk staff are aloof,,,,,, we booked 2 rooms to be close to one-another as my son was traveling with me, however they separated us by over 20 floors stating they were full. Our booking was for 8 days, but due to the poor location, the 20 floors separation, and the fact TAXIS cannot find the place,,,, we asked to reduce our stay from 8 to 4 nights,,,,, they refused even though they said the hotel was full (which is was not),,, they point blank refused. The bedding was not changed for 4 nights, and irrespective of asking and asking front desk for the rooms to be cleaned each morning, arriving back at the hotel at 9pm we found the rooms NOT CLEANED. The elevators are super confusing with the key card not working in time - off you go to another floor, or pass reception before you know it. Location is terrible..... great for the metro, however no taxi could find it, and we almost missed the flight because of this..... The mountain view was less than impressive,,,, it was a street view. Sorry the above has more negatives than positives, however, we visit HK many times a year and this newly opened establishment appears to have management issues. Even if they offered this hotel free of charge, we would not go back.
• James (9/5): A lovely hotel near to the metro - This hotel is excellent, very well presented, and the facilities are superb. Aside from our room, we particularly liked the shared kitchen and the gym; additionally, it offers laundry facilities that are free to use. The area around the hotel is nothing special, but it is a short walk to the nearest metro and shopping centre. There was nothing wrong with this hotel.

• MaryM673 (10/5): Home away from home - For family reason, I have been staying at Shama Metro South about four months by now. I would say I am a satisfied and happy guest feeling staying in a home away from my home. The location. It’s right beside the Wong Chuk Hang Station, just 10 min metro ride to Admiralty Station where one gets connected to most major metro lines. There are also bus stops right in front of the hotel which takes me to Causeway Bay in 10 min and Central in 15 min. Decoration and furnishing are fresh and modern both in common areas and the interior of my room. Housekeeping has kept the hotel and the room immaculately clean. I am very sensitive to dust and pollutants, but have been really impressed by the absence of such. While the team of front office-cum operation staff is young, they are generally responsive in addressing issues such as WIFI connection, delivery, or other general enquiries rather satisfactorily. Among the key people, my special appreciation goes to Johnny who had worked to give me a seamless experience in moving from the city side room to the mountain side. He had indeed provided warm and polite support and seeing to every detail neatly done. Talking about city view or Mountain View, after trying both, I would recommend Mountain View to those who love to feel like being soaked in nature while actually staying in a rather robust business zone.

• Flora (7/5): Nice hotel for long stay - It depends on what types of rooms you picked. I had been in and out for 3 times during my stays.The lower level rooms are not good especially 3rd floor. Rm 304 is very noisy, electric curtain is not working. However, I also stayed in upper floor suite, with the size 41-42 square meters. It’s a very good and comfortable room if you don’t mind to pay more. In general, it’s quite comfortable hotel. Clean and nice. Very convenient, close to MTR and bus stop. Shopping mall and restaurants within in walking distance. The gym room is smelly. It’s smelly like some kind of chemical smell in air. I couldn’t stand for that. I left after 10min and never visited the gym again even though I stayed in this hotel for more than 3 weeks . Luggages storage needs a fee. The hotel staffs are more like the office clerk rather than the hotel staff . One of the staff dropped me the luggage trolley outside my room and left. I need to take 7 luggages one by one to the trolley by myself. It’s disappointed Well, this is a very new hotel, they may need more time to train their staff and improve their service.

I wish we have a tissue paper box and hand soap near the sink in the bathroom. The deposit was pretty hefty and there was no notice when the deposit had been released.

• Bogdan2005 (10/5): Very good hotel for a few days visit in Hong Kong - Very good hotel, excellent and modern facilities, big and very clean rooms, comforable beds. The personnel was all very nice and welcoming. The hotel does not serve breakfast but in the lobby there is a very good traditional restaurant (LuLu BaoBao) and also an excellent coffee, both offering a 15% discount to the hotel guests. The only negative is the location of the hotel - to the south of the island where most of the landmark sires are in the north. However, the public transportation system in Hong King is excellent and so is also the value for money offered bt this hotel.

• Ka (8/5): Pleasant stay for one week. Quiet area, but a bit out of the way from main HK busy district like Wanchai, Causeway Bay - Room is spacest for studio. Price is good and reasonable. Only 3 stops to Central/Wanchai. Very helpful front desk staff addressing my inquires. At check out date, a gentleman staff helped us to bring luggage to downstair meeting the taxi ride. A bit confusing to find the entrance of the premise that is also shared with another hotel apartment. With luggages after long oversea tiring flight, it is quite frustrating to locate where guest should go to the check in lobby for first time stay. Public bus stop near hotel location takes quite long for the one that ride back to hotel from other area.

A pleasant breakfast cafe and a good value plain restaurant are in the same building. We wanted a place to rest over for a couple of days, and this did the job well.

Not even the other Shama around HK. - Getting to Admiralty via MTR from the front door of the property was 15 minutes, we timed it. - Amenities were brilliant, our upgraded room had a washer and dryer. - The gym downstairs was great (if a little small) and the shared kitchen is a great idea for those who wish to cook - Southside mall is close by as well as Circle K and 7/11 at the MTR station which is 2 minutes away and is accessible directly via the footbridge outside. - The staff were very helpful, when our original room had an issue they immediately resolved it for us. - The wonderful house keeping staff too - If you like noodles and fresh coffee there is a cafe and noodle joint next to the lobby area. - The bathroom soaps smelt great. - Shower pressure was good. - Lots of natural light via floor to ceiling windows. - Wireless phone chargers next to bed - Plenty of hiking spots right around the corner - Ocean park is one MTR stop away - The property was kind enough to store our luggage while we’re away in Taiwan for the week.

• Yuk (9/5): Superb - The location is convenient, only two minutes' walk to the MTR. The design of the walls allows plenty of room for hanging things. It's good to have a gym and pantry for meals. The staff are very helpful. There may be a problem with the sewage system. Occasionally, there is some smell coming from the cabinets in the toilet.
• Andimozza (9/5): Great - Very near to MTR Station, there is a mall as well nearby so it is quite convenient to do some shopping especially for food. If you plan to go to ocean park, then it is only 1 mtr stop away The hotel is new and everything is clean so far so good

• Hung (9/5): My wife and I had really enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Hong Ko - Clean, very spacious for a hotel room in Hong Kong. It was also connected to the subway via the footbridge so that made transportation easy, and also right next to the mall which made shopping and eating out easy and convenient, too. Washer and dryer service in the hotel was also very convenient. The AC vents in the room points directly to the bed, so sometimes the AC air is very strong against your head when you’re sleeping. I had to adjust the fan speed to the minimum to make it more comfortable. It would be better if the air flow is more evenly distributed throughout the room.

• Suet (10/5): A B&B like experience in Aberdeen - Very nice layout of the room. Shower was big and warm water came quickly. Aircon worked well, but a bit strong blowing over bed. The kitchenet and dinning made a big difference, adding to comfort. Slight delay in checkout to get back deposit while room was checked

• Jimmy (8/5): Functional hotel with great access to Admiralty and other spots in HK. - Access to subway station, shopping mall was great. The traffic noise from the overpass road.
• Yun (8/5): Overall very pleasant stay - The mountain view of the room is so chill and beautiful. The facilities are very new and tasteful. The washer inside the room is very useful for longer stay. The location is near for most sites on HK island. There’s a minor machine noise from lower floors or outside that maybe disturbing.
• Aleksandra (10/5): Hidden gem in HK - Amazing hotel, next to MTR and just 2 stations away from Admiralty. Everything is new, extremely clean, room size is big for HK. They also have a small gym. Great value for money
• Sheryl (10/5): Excellent! We will come back again in few months. - Everything is convenient. Easy access to the shopping mall,to the mtr to the grocery store. Our room is so spacious,we have washing machine and we can cook simple dishes and fully equipped. We loved it! Nothing to complain!
• JEONG YOUN (2/5): - They said we can check in at 3:00pm, but the room cleaning has finished about 20 min later. When we went up to the room, I found several shopping bags with full of hangers and some groceries near elevator, thought somebody lived in the room and left late. When we checked out, they asked us to wait about 10 min more and sent staff to check the room before return our deposit. Then they called us and told they lost hangers which supposed to be in the room. I could not believe their attitude. They took out those stuffs, put in front of the elevator like trash, somebody maybe took it. And ask us if we took it. OMG. I have experienced the worst hotel service ever, and influenced our mood on the day. Please be professional, take care of your stuff and be responsible of your attitude. You guys were so rude. How come hotel make customer wait so long because you didn’t finish cleaning on time? And what is that attitude doubt about your lost?
