Mike (8/5): It was a good resort with some missed opportunities to be great. - The villa is roomy, the beds are comfortable, the provision of the kitchen is very good. The location is also very good; we were able to walk to many of the restaurants nearby. The walls are very thin. The first night, the next door was having a loud pool party. It wasn’t until after midnight when it finally ended. The day before departure, we spent some time at the pool and ordered some drinks. The drinks are really small, half of the drinks are ice. The bartender added 18% tip without telling us first. Two small 8 oz margaritas for $42, that’s ridiculous. Finally, there are no filters for the coffee machine. We had to qgo out and buy coffee everyday.

Bryant (10/5): Great Experience - The little ones (and I) enjoyed the pool areas. The lazy river was very relaxing. We also loved the pool inside the home. My son who is special needs was able to enjoy hours swimming in the private pool without it being too overwhelming for him. My only compliant was that when I returned from the Waterpark someone else had parked in my designated parking spot. I had to park further away from where our rental was with all the kids and our swimming gear. The designated spot for the rental was closer to the town home making it more convenient. Security came. However, the car remained parked in our designated space the entire night and was still there the next morning. When we packed up to leave; it was still there. Nothing happened (i.e. towing, ticket, warning etc.) which is contrary to the policy posted in the home. Not having access to a spot designated for that particular home was the biggest blemish on an otherwise wonderful experience. Not so much the fault of the facility however it should be enforced when people don't comply.

Dustin (7/5): The resort is a nice place to stay. The house was exceptionally clean and beautiful. The only downfall was the extra fee - The property was very clean. A lot of fees not included in total. $35 a day per car and we rented a 16 person house. You have to pay to heat the hot tub per day.

Didn't like having to pay for parking but facility was worth it so maybe the price of parking could be including in hotel stay to not turn away people who refuse to stay somewhere that charges parking.

Anne (8/5): - Loved the pools, especially the pool in each unit! Kids highlight! The theme room was great and so was the house/villa itself was awesome! We were disappointed with the shuttle service and how even with multiple days notice, it was full. As well as the amount of times per day it traveled to and from Walt Disney world and Universal. As a large family having to get two ubers/Lyft every time when we had hoped to rely on a shuttle service, really added a huge extra expense to our holiday. We felt that there could have been some more amenities/products in the villas. We only had one hand towel for the kitchen and no dish cloth. Also, two dishwasher detergent tabs for large families like ours that was there for 10 days is no where near enough. Same for the toilet paper. Also wish there had been Kleenex in the villa. Coffee filters would've been nice as well. All small things (except for the shuttle which really was a big disappointment unfortunately)

Teresa (5/5): - I liked the pool outside the Villa and the water park I did not like there is only limited amount of space for the shuttle to get to the universal park. The shuttle only had 4 spots open on that day we was going and all the family was not able to get on. So we had to figure out how the rest of the family was going to get there. There is only 2 pick up times which is 8:30 to 9:30 am and 3 drops off times to get back. I thought the shuttle runs back and forth all day. There was no safety rails on the in ground pool outside the villa. My elderly stepdad was not able to get out and fell. The parking fees for a gated community is also just not necessary. I am still trying to figure out why pay for parking if the guest that paid for the resorts there are staying at the facility. I paid 3300 for the 4 bedroom villa for 4 nights and 147.00 for parking.

Sheldon (7/5): A wonderful stay but you pay extra for everything which really adds up. - The property is very very nice and a good mix of “fun” for all ages. Our house was also very nice and pretty. So our pool area and lanai (we rented a 6 bedroom house) had cigarettes and ashes all over when we check in. The whole area wasn’t cleaned so had to get someone there after check in while they power washed and cleaned the whole area. The parking is ridiculously expensive. We had house that you pay for so at the very least one car should be free either way stay. Each car at $35 per car really adds up. As other reviews state they charge you for everything. A child gate is extra even though the kids bedroom is upstairs and the stairs are quite steep. Seems a safety issue to not get a gate with house without having to pay.

Young kids were over the moon with the gaming system in their bedroom. Personal pool and Lanai were great in the back yard and the common pool and waterslides were great as well.

Stephanie (9/5): Extremely nice & clean. Highly recommend! - Villas were absolutely amazing! Super clean, spacious and ultra modern. Exceeded my expectations. Not having the ability to store bags until check in was very disappointing! This is an accommodation that any decent property extends to their guests. While we could use the amenities onsite while we waited, to lug around our bags for a party of 8 was such an inconvenience. Villatel needs to take in consideration that not all guests are driving in & has the ability to leave their bags in the car.

If you’re staying at the resort Amenities should be free. Would I stay again probably not. The WIFI was terrible I had to leave the house walk down a block or two bro get WiFI didn’t like we had to pay xtra to use the grill at the home we were renting. It should have been included with the rental price. The grill itself was very nasty so we decided not to add the grill as an add on.The pool was extremely small very miniature and the water look very dirty.

David (9/5): Excellent family holiday - Fantastic modern and contemporary 4 bed villa with everything you need. Spacious and perfectly furnished. Great private pool. Resort is excellent - nice lazy river and lovely big pool. Great setting and amazing location for Universal theme parks. Super friendly staff in the Marriott Bonvoy apartments reception (as you go through to the pool area). Basketball and pickleball courts are a nice bonus. Nice to see frequent security staff and enclosed gate security around the resort. Super quick check in process obtaining a key code on arrival (drive thru). Will definitely return if the standard is maintained (interesting to see how it will look when it’s not brand new and perfectly presented next year).

On third day, I asked for shampoo & body wash and waited for an hour but didn’t get it. When I called guest services they couldn’t provide any ETA too. These are basic amenities and need to be delivered reasonably in 30 minutes. It was not delivered for 3 hours until we left and found it when we were back later in the evening

They charge for parking at $35 per day per car even though each unit has assigned spots for 2 vehicles. Feels like a way to take advantage of people that have already paid a premium to stay at the resort.

alexis (6/5): Great location but not worth the money - Great location and my kids loved the waterpark area. This is not a luxury resort. I found a few issues with this resort and feel this was not worth the money. We went around Christmas so I know rates are higher. 1. Pool area needed to be cleaned. There were food and crumbs all on the floor. The pool chairs were very dirty. 2. It’s obvious they threw these homes up because they are cheaply made. One of the living room tables were broke. 3. Toilet in on-suite bath broke. 4. The keypad broke and we were locked out 5. They did not collect trash everyday like they advertised 6. The baseboards and ceiling had tons of dirt and dust. I liked the fact it did have a waterpark and the community was gated. I did see a security vehicle patrolling frequently so it brought a sense of security. The resort was quiet and that was also nice.

Lori (8/5): - The place was very clean and well maintained. Seemed like the area is pretty new. The lights in the house need to be on dimmers or maybe get some lamps. It was all too bright in the kitchen, dining room and living room. The water pressure is very low. And there is a wheel missing on the dishwasher rack. Also, we paid to have the pool heat on for the whole time we were there and it was cold the first 2 days and we couldnt use it. Maintenance came out and actually turned it on on day 2 late in the afternoon.

Latesia (4/5): Change your linen, you charge more than enough for cleaning fees. - The kids themed room & haunted house. The linen was used linen & beds were made like they changed them. Absolutely disgusting & one of the customer service reps was very rude. The manager however was a breath of fresh air. House keeping never came & cleaned the room.
