We found pubic hair in the room slippers that were in plastic packing in the closet! We also found a fair bit of hair on the bed spreads that were definitely not ours!

Zeer vriendelijk personeel! Locatie: beetje in de 'mindere wijken' van Kaapstad. Ongeveer 30' wandelen naar de betere plaatsen, weliswaar via ongemakkelijke wegen.

• Jedzz (10/5): A top pick of a hotel - Everything previously mentioned about the great staff here sums up what makes a great hotel work for the paying guests. Up at the bar area adjacent to the 30 metre pool was Rex, Harlim and Stella. Great crew. The lap part of the pool has the glass bottom to pass the time viewing the traffic below as you push out your laps 19 levels up. The famous in-house Cedric Grolet patisserie has the croissants for breakfast. As well as an excellent Nasi Goreng and Laksa. All ordered off menu. Room and bed spot on. Very comfy. Housekeeping twice a day. If travelling about by MRT its Orchard or Somerset stations close by. Chloe at front desk helped out as do all the great staff available. Coffee made from robotic arm machine very good quality in the lobby room. All in all would stay again for location, staff, cleanliness and the great lap pool. The latter needed to maintain a semblance of fitness with all the great food on offer in Singapore.

Good service from concierge, front desk and Manager and value price. Quality interior furnishings. Generous and good quality amenities. Complimentary bottles of water, beverages and snacks in the fridge. Rooms are clean twice a day. This is my second time staying in this Hotel.

• Helene (8/5): Overall good except for the very disruptive marketing video filming. Front office tried to help - Overall front desk staff and F&B staff are very helpful and responsive. Extensive filming for marketing purposes took place during peak hours of usage. Disruptive for clients and the crew were loud and inconsiderate as well. Surely business operations have to be prioritized over marketing video filming.
• teddy_tourist (10/5): Best hotel in Singapore! - What an outstanding hotel in all ways! Amazing pool on the 19th floor where you can see the traffic below through the glass floor. Fresh and comprehensive breakfast. And you get a CÉDRIC Grolet cupcake on arrival worth $26! Yum! Best of all is the kind and welcoming staff - makes your stay even more special. Luxurious rooms with a small kitchenette. Paragon shopping centre steps away that has plenty of shops and food. We will be back for sure!

The roof top pool is amazing and the hotel location very close to central shopping district was great. Food in both restaurants was outstanding.
• T5373ZPcharlief (10/5): Stay 19/11 till 21/11 - Had an excellent stay at COMO Metropolitan Singapore. The service across the board was smooth, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. Jega and the bell desk/concierge team made arrivals and day-to-day needs effortless, and the overall team carried the same friendly professionalism throughout the stay. The hotel itself is modern, comfortable, and well run, but the staff are what give it that extra edge. Rex at the Sky Bar added to the experience with easygoing, thoughtful service that made evenings there especially enjoyable. Overall, a refined and well-managed hotel that consistently delivers a great guest experience. Highly recommend.

• alisonjanemoore (6/5): Mixed Experience - What a mixed experience at this hotel. We arrived late in the evening and had the rudest reception guy check us in. He couldn’t have been less helpful. Having filled all the information for the online checkin we had to provide it all again in person. We had already paid for our room but they wanted to take a charge on my credit card that would be reverse on check out but would take 1-2weeks to be returned. Then having had problems with the lock on my suitcase I contacted reception and got the same guy who promised to send someone to help. After waiting an hour I gave up and went to bed. The next morning asked for help again from the concierge who was wonderful. As were the guys who came and removed the padlock. Other reception staff who helped with food recommendations, the staff at the Skybar and the lady who managed the luggage on our last day were also very helpful. The facilities at the hotel were good but we weren’t really there long enough to use them. The other strange thing was we booked a twin room. The room was set up with two beds that were set up together with no space between. So we had to rearrange the room which wasn’t easy given the shape of the bed head and the bedside tables.
• twoweeled (10/5): This is where you want to stay in Singapore - If this is your price range, then this is where you want to stay. From the check in, I wish I could remember his name but I think he previously worked in the Philippines (to identify him). Totally took care of us. You could feel that was his priority. The automated coffee maker right around the corner is something you should visit. The room we had was fantastic with a great view. We also stood at InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay which was a joke in comparison. These rooms are so much larger and the view is day and night. Everyone there was so helpful and even the porters were knowledgeable and eager to help. I will definitely stay again.

• L2725NDmichellew (8/5): The pool! I mean the pool!! - It was a pleasant stay. The infinity pool was amazing for an afternoon swim and the Sky Bar staff were very attentive. There a signs of wear and tear like any hotel but nothing that a bit of care and a lick of paint can’t fix. There first thing I noticed at reception was the black countertop is looking a little tired. The breakfast is great and all staff there are incredible. In particular Ivan, who is very welcoming, kind and considerate. He literally does not stop moving. In fact all the staff at this hotel are very friendly and welcoming! We would stay here again.

The guy lied to us like we were 2 year olds Also, use your Visa card. If you use American Express prepare for abusive behavior. Our luggage sat in the lobby for an hour until I came down to retrieve it.

• robinaugustin1987 (10/5): What an experience! - Our stay in COMO was the cherry on the top of a fantastic stay in Singapore. The impeccable service from Henry, Jaime, Siti, Ivan, Denise, and Finah made us feel like VIPs. The birthday mooncake and handwritten card made me feel so loved! Loved the design of the room with an amazing view of the city. Bed was super comfortable, so much so, I had to drag myself to breakfast, and it was worth it. If you're staying here be sure to have the Eggs Royale and Cedric Grolet croissants. Nothing but fantastic memories as I leave COMO, including of Bruno. Really in awe of the amazing coffebot. What a unique experience.
• A5049WTianw (8/5): Often looks great, but some odd design decisions - There is a lot to like about the Como, not least its incredibly light-filled rooms, lovely bathrooms, friendly staff, and rooftop swimming pool. The public areas also smell amazing. The robot barista is amusing. There are though a few odd decisions and choices for a relatively new hotel. I find it baffling in 2025 that there was only a table on one side of the bed, and only one power point on the left side of the bed- around the corner if you dragged over the heavy ottoman as a substitute table. They've chosen an odd floor surface- wonderfully light and cool but it also shows every scrape and scuff mark from every suitcase wheel that has been dragged over it. It isn't dirty but it looks it. The rooftop pool is wonderful but seating is very limited (6 deck chairs during our visit due to window cleaning equipment) and in peak times you may not have anywhere to put your things. It also closes at 7.30pm, which seems very early for this part of the world. One of my favourite things to do in a Singapore transit is to refresh with a night swim- and I can't do it here. So there is a lot to like about the property, but the odd styling decisions made it, for me, a hard hotel to love.

In room amenities are all sufficient, - lvl 1, lvl 6 n Como cuisine teams are all smiles, very welcoming. - smooth n quick registration with online check-in (highly recommended), - lovely Cedric Grolet welcoming Surprise! - will definitely come back for the happy staff.

• outbackberlin (10/5): Oasis in heart if Singapore - Favourite place to stay in Singapore… a calm oasis in the middle of the bustle. The service is very personal, beyond amazing. Yoga mat in room a nice touch. Loved the zen simplicity of the rooms.
• voonpohl (8/5): First time at a Como brand hotel - First time staying at a Como brand and it was pleasant although there are a few things that could be better, considering the reputation of the Como brand. The Pros: - Can’t fault the location. Right in the centre of Orchard Road and next to Paragon Mall, you can’t get better than this. - Spacious guest rooms that are airy, light filled and comfortable with lots of storage - love the gym. Big and well equipped that you can get a serious workout - the “barista” robot on the 6th floor knocks out great coffee and is a must see. Complimentary to hotel guests which is a plus. - Club 21 store on the 1st and 2nd floor has great stuff and service. Hotel guests get a 15% off - A waitress staff called Stella was very nice and brought us on a tour of the hotel and its facilities. Although she couldn’t speak good English, we really appreciated her enthusiasm and is refreshing . Thank you! The Cons: - Was disappointed at the arrival experience. The ground floor lobby feels sterile and bland. Like you are going to an office. For the Como brand, I expected this to be better - The arrival experience was further marred by front desk staff who did not speak good English. I had difficulty understanding her and as a front line person representing the hotel, first impression is very important - The building footprint is narrow and tight so the arrival from the lift to reception desk is cramped. And with guests luggage left lying around, it doesn’t contribute to the experience and in fact, quite unsightly. Not sure why there isn’t a room for luggage storage. There are also lots of office paraphernalia behind the reception desks ( small safe box, paperwork, etc) which look messy and for a modern minimalist interior, it doesn’t feel in sync. - I was told the pool closes at 7pm which feels a bit too early for a city centre hotel or any hotel for that matter. Was given the reason that this is to make way for the bar which is just next to the pool. The pool itself is also a disappointment too. Feels like it needs a bit of landscaping and beautification to make it more welcoming. - the morning breakfast was adequate and could be much better. Staff was great though ! - the room although spacious feels sparse even for a minimalist interior and could do with some interior touches - I saw another review commenting on the bath towels and I had the same experience. They were frayed and old. Really needs to be freshened up as it’s the Como brand after all. All in all, I would stay again and hopefully the next time I am back, things will be better.

• Bongkan (10/5): So good we will definitely be back - Staff, location, facilities .. everything For the suites it wasn’t a split ac system eg bedroom and living room wasn’t separated. This made it difficult to adjust ac while people slept inside and people were still using the living room as it is larger therefore room doesn’t get cold. Bedroom could be 18 degrees inside while it’s only 21 outside etc. we had a baby monitor therefore it measured the temps in the rooms
