The TV was terrible , the sound was muffled and picture blurred. We needed subtitles to work out what people were saying. The tea and coffee was not replenished each day. A biscuit would be appreciated. The coffee from downstairs was always only 1/2 to 3/4 full but the taste was great.

- Nicholas (9/5): Well-located comfortable hotel near Chinatown - Fantastic location on the edge of Chinatown, a nice outdoor pool, fast elevators, convenient lobby area and access to the MRT through an (somewhat long) underground pathway. The bedroom and bathroom were quite small, with the basin outside the bathroom, but that is probably just the room we paid for.

Check in was not great. Even though our booking was clear they tried to charge extra taxes. We paid for late checkout but then our key stopped working- it took them forever to sort out. Disappointing for a big hotel.

Les prises électriques sont également peu pratiques, car elles sont fixées au mur au-dessus du vide plutôt qu’à côté d’une table de nuit, ce qui complique la recharge du téléphone ou d’un appareil photo. Quelques aménagements supplémentaires rendraient le séjour nettement plus confortable.

- Victoria (9/5): - Tolle Lage! U-Bahn der blauen Linie war direkt am Hotel, die braune Linie war wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Obwohl man theoretisch auch aus dem Wasserhahn trinken kann, gab es am Waschbecken noch einen extra Hahn aus dem nochmal gefiltertes Wasser kam. Das Standardzimmer ist etwas klein. Es war schwierig einen normalen Koffer aufzuklappen.

- Gresham (7/5): Look forward to coming back - The location of the hotel was perfect , few minutes walk all over chinatown and easy access to the MRT. Hotel was also kind enough to provide early check in which helped me alot as I was able to drop my bags and head off to an urgent meeting. The room was very tiny for the price , but because of the length of stay it worked well since i didnt spend much time in the room anyway.

A baby crying in the room opposite to me. I heard one neighbor vomiting and wrenching. And I was also able to hear neighbors pee’ing in the middle of the night. Needless so say I didn’t have very good sleep while staying at this property.

You coulf pay an extra few $’s & get a room at least double the size. We could hardly fit in the shower as it was so small. No where to put your bags either. The breakfast was below average

- Angela (6/5): Mejorar la atención del personal - La ubicacion del hotel está excelente, llegabas bien desde el aeropuerto en metro; y la habitación era muy pequeña si llevas maleta grande puede que sea algo incómodo pero nada grave. No nos gustó el personal que nos atendió al momento de realizar el check in debido que nos trató mal, ya que le estaba haciendo pregunta sobre el hotel me respondía súper molesto como que me lo tengo que saber; ni buenas días ni gracias y todo el tiempo la cara amargado.

- Paola (10/5): Perfect location in comfortable hotel. - It was smack bang in the centre of everything. 2 minutes from one food mall. 10-15 minutes from the beginning of gardens by the bay. China town around the corner and 25-30 minutes to the beginning of Orchard Rd. Nothing. All good.

- Candice (10/5): Great stay - Staff were wonderful and friendly. Easy to walk around and explore, there is also a nice underground shopping/food mall nearby so you don’t have to get into the heat. The 16th floor gave a wonderful view. Some information leaflet/booklet would have come in handy. Room service was a bit more pricey than expected. But can’t fault the hotel.

- Paul (9/5): Great central location to base a holiday from and visit all parts of the island. - Centrality to Everything - what ever we were doing that day, it was the right place to start from whether it required the DTL station available via the undercover stroll or the short walk to Maxwell MRT for the ETL. It was not a big deal to drop back to the room, dump the morning's shopping before heading out again to the next thing. In room, I appreciated the many USB charge points, the responsive and effective air-conditioning, and that there was a window to see out of. The large parking/delivery area at the front door was far less fraught than others I have experienced when it came to arriving. On premise self service laundry was appreciated as was the really large pool. Staff were very attentive and represented Singapore well. Not negative things, just things that were not as positive as the great things above: Knowing the area better now, I would not opt for the buffet breakfast on my next stay. There are many options within a couple of minute's walk that are cheaper and just as handy to access. The buffet breakfast was illogically laid out. The toasting station here, but the start of the hot food over there. The fruit in one place, the yoghurt in another. Everything you could want was there - it just took a few trips to and from the table to get it weaving past others doing the same thing. A second bedside table in the Double bed room would have been nice - the power points are there, but needed to move the chair over to place things on to charge next to the bed. Towels appeared to be changed daily even when hung up to dry
