Laurel (7/5): Great help Norman/yvon. But the water as so smelly I used the ocean and the reef haven to - North of the city with direct access to sea Bad bad cistern water that smells and even created an odor on my body.
PeixeG (8/5): Amazing hosts at a wonderful property - as long as you don't need Wifi - Yvonne and Normal were the perfect hosts! They were helpful, warm, and friendly from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. We couldn't have asked for better hosts! Overall we were happy with our stay and would stay here again, as long as we didn't depend on wifi or plan to spend most of our time in central San Pedro. The air conditioning worked perfectly, though we didn't need it during the day, as the breeze coming off the water provided with enough relief from the heat. The wifi straight up didn't work. Period. This is the reason I gave the property an 8 instead of a 10. If you choose to stay here, take that into consideration. I'd have been in trouble if I had planned to work remotely from our room. You can't advertise wifi if you know it doesn't work. We ended up having to add data to our eSIM plans so we could access the internet in our room. Also, if you stay here, be sure to activate the auto top-up feature on your SIM plan so you don't run out of data while at the property and not have any way to add more data until you can get to a place with wifi. The other thing to be aware of is that the property is a good 45-60 minute drive north of central San Pedro by golf cart (the primary mode of transportation) and the road is very bumpy.
Darren (10/5): If your looking to be pampered in one of the most beautiful tropical settings, look no further. - The highlight of this property was the on site managers by far. As well travelled seniors we have never been taken care of as completely and sincerely as this before. Their dedication to make the property a perfect tropical treasure was the icing on the cake. We will follow Norman and Yvonne wherever they go. Let’s hope it’s right here at North Beach. See you soon! Cold water showers
Albert (10/5): Perfect - Hands down one of the best places I've stayed using Booking. The apartment, or rather treehouse, was amazing, as were the views to and from the beach. The caretakers, Yvonne and Norman, are incredible. They go out of their way to take great care of you. Keep up the good work. As all over the island, don't expect to swim in the see. Also, it's a long drive to get there but nothing a golf cart won't fix.
Stacy (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts Angel and Josie were very welcoming, accommodating, and helpful with navigating our trip. The property is beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable. We had AC, a small refrigerator, plenty of fresh water, and coffee supplies provided. We were provided with homemade breakfast every morning, which was delicious and probably our favorite meals! They even gave us baby oil for keeping the bugs away and fresh aloe to put on our sunburns! The property was a little farther from town than expected, but it didn’t stop us from our golf cart adventures! Unfortunately, like most of the island the beautiful beach was covered with sargassum seaweed which was a bit disappointing but we found Secret Beach was a fun place to enjoy the water.

Kasidi (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay at North Beach Retreat. It was fairly north of town but there were a couple of restaurants nearby that had good food choices and it was nice and quiet. I personally enjoy a quiet beach that isn’t super crowded. When we arrived there was a “happy anniversary” message on the bed that I thought was so sweet and considerate. The caretaker checked on us frequently but not too much. He even brought us cinnamon rolls his wife made. The grounds were super clean and there was security for added safety; however, we never felt unsafe.
