• Amy (1/5): - Location was great Upon arrival at the property, I was immediately struck by a strong and unpleasant smell. I then discovered rotting chicken in the fridge dated 2 January. In addition, all of the kitchen equipment was extremely dirty and clearly had not been cleaned following the previous guests’ stay. The towels provided for the shower were exceptionally thin and barely usable. To make matters worse, when I returned from dinner later that evening, I was confronted by rats at the front door of the property. Overall, the condition of the accommodation was unacceptable and fell well below a reasonable standard of cleanliness and hygiene.

• Jane (1/5): Noisy Bullding work- no sleep, and No response from agent - AVOID ! - The property is small and on the first floor above Cannon Street - good location BUT ….. There is constant building work noise for the new tube station next door between 11pm- 5.30am. I was unable to sleep and rang the agent in the morning to complain, as I was booked for 2 nights. The agent did not respond despite repeated calls and texts. They only responded when I contacted Booking.com complaints department and still would NOT refund the 2nd night, despite having to buy accomodation elsewhere. Shocking customer care and I would NOT recommend this accomodation under the current circumstances, and the lack of support. Oh and there was no loo roll!

• Chiara (1/5): non lo consiglierei a nessuno - La posizione tutto il resto fa schifo, sporco dappertutto, asciugamani sporchi e macchiati, freddo inimmaginabile e solo un termosifone funzionava, se si azionava la lavatrice scendeva l’acqua dal soffitto che andava direttamente sopra i fornelli, il letto per la terza persona era scomodo e sporco ovviamente.

Så en av oss fick sova på golvet, tills vi fick en madrass. Vi märkte snabbt att det endast fanns kallt vatten i kranen, vilket gjorde det svårt. När jag ringde och frågade om det fick vi efter några timmar tillgång till en annan lägenhet 3 våningar ner. Dessa problem drog ner vistelsen ganska mycket.

Udens lija blakus elektrības vadiem. Veļas mašīnā bija apģērbu putekļi. Dušas klausules statīvs krita ārā no sienas, nebija atstātas ziepes dušai, tikai iesāktas dušas želejas un wc papīrs. Rezervēju 3 naktis, tās apmaksāju, bet apstākļi bija dzīvībai nedroši, bija bail ieiet vannas istabā, jo griezti varētu uzgāzties uz galvas. Tāpēc dienu ātrāk izvācos un biju spiesta meklēt citu vietu nakšņošanai.Atkritumi bija jāiznes pašai un uz ielas jāatstāj, bija redzami citi atkritumu maisi no iepriekšējiem nakšņotājiem, kas netika savākti. Fotogrāfijas rādīja perfektu dzīvokli, realitātē iespaids bija neadekvāts cenai. Nevienam neiesaku, izskatijās pēc negodīgas krāpšanas.
• Pauline (4/5): Not a place I will return to - The flat was clean and the bed comfortable and it was 3/4 steps away from the venue I was visiting The stairs hadn’t been cleaned in months. The place was totally unsuitable for the elderly or disabled. I was 6 flights up, no lift and a m 72. It did not mention this on the website and I believe that is a legal obligation. To make matters worse the hall lighting was movement activated. That meant that every time I stopped pushing my heavy suitcase upstairs to get my breath the light went out, creating a fall risk. The flat was freezing, the temperature set to 18. It took me one day in the property to figure out where the heating controls were and I ended up having to climb over heavy furniture to get to the controls. The shower outlet was partially blocked meaning t hat I had to stand for some time in the shower after I was finished. Had I opened the shower door the bathroom would have been flooded

Für den Preis aufgrund der Ausstattung und der fehlenden Sa - Lage ist super, Zugang mittels Zusendung des Codes hat super funktioniert, Code wurde um 13.00 schon gesendet und das Zimmer konnte daher früher genutzt werden, Bett war trotz einer gemeinsamen Decke ganz gut Einrichtung sehr abgewohnt, teilweise hat Ausstattung gefehlt, Sauberkeit ist ausbaufähig (va. Handtücher), Koffer musste über schmalen Aufgang geschleppt werden, generell sehr beengt im Zimmer (max. für zwei Personen)

• Margherita (2/5): - Posizione comoda Esperienza terribile. Il proprietario si è dimostrato completamente irresponsabile e menefreghista. Arrivate davanti all’appartamento quasi alle 22 di sera, il signore è sparito nel nulla: non rispondeva a nessuna chiamata, lasciando tre ragazze di 20 anni sole, ferme sotto l’appartamento, in una zona si centrale, ma buia e deserta. Solo dopo oltre mezz’ora, dopo le varie chiamate e messaggi, si è degnato di rispondere su whatsapp, spiegandoci come entrare, senza nemmeno scusarsi. Una volta dentro, lo shock totale. La stanza era anche carina ma non corrispondeva minimamente alla descrizione: invece di 3 posti letto ci siamo ritrovate con un letto matrimoniale minuscolo e una brandina ancora chiusa e senza lenzuola. Le lenzuola sul letto matrimoniale non erano palesemente state cambiate, si vedeva chiaramente che il letto era stato solo rifatto in fretta. Il lenzuolo era pieno di peli, e sul cuscino c’era addirittura una macchia di sangue. Una cosa disgustosa e igienicamente raccapricciante. Abbiamo immediatamente scritto al proprietario segnalando tutto, ma non ha nemmeno avuto la decenza di rispondere. Totalmente ignorate. Ci ha scritto il giorno dopo per raccomandarsi il check out prima delle 10.
Ha dimostrato zero rispetto per gli ospiti, zero professionalità e zero attenzione all’igiene e alla sicurezza. Un’esperienza che non auguro a nessuno. Sconsigliatissimo, soprattutto a ragazze giovani o a chi viaggia da solo.

Run down, felt cheap & felt like student accomplishment. VERY noisy. Bottle bins get emptied at 4:30am. Building site noise from 5am with loud music & shouting. Noise from pub too.

• Chris (7/5): Great location, great hosts - Location is spot on close to every thing and the apartment is cosy but comfortable. Hosts were really communicative and easy to communicate with. Although not flexible with check in or out time they did allow me to leave luggage. Very friendly guys and instructions were very clear. The bathroom pretty grubby - It’s small, pillows were rubbish and it was a noisey part of town with no sound proofing.

• Fränze (8/5): - Wohnung liegt sehr zentral, Tower, Queens Walk, Globe Theatre, Tate Museum und weitere Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut fußläufig zu erreichen; klein, aber gemütlich; das Bett ist sehr bequem Ausstattung müsste ein bisschen erneuert bzw. aufgestockt werden, z. B. gab es sehr wenig Besteck, die Töpfe müssten mal ausgetauscht werden, da hier schon die Beschichtung teilweise abgelöst war und diese somit nicht mehr nutzbar sind, die Rollos sind etwas zu kurz für die Fenster, sowohl im Wohnzimmer als auch im Bad, der Mülleimer hatte leider keinen Deckel mehr

• Houria (1/5): Le séjour était une arnaque, avec un logement insalubre, mensonger et un hôte désagréable, refusant tout remboursement. - La localisation À fuir absolument — une vraie arnaque ! Cet appartement ne ressemble en rien aux photos. Il fait à peine 5 ou 6 m² : le “lit double” est en réalité un lit encastré dans un placard, rien à voir avec un vrai lit comme montré sur les photos. Ils annoncent un logement pour 3 personnes, mais le troisième lit est un lit de camp en fer, minuscule, censé se mettre au pied du lit double — ce qui est impossible, vu la taille de la pièce. On ne peut même pas poser sa valise. Le ménage était très mal fait : il y avait des cheveux blonds partout, même dans le micro-ondes. Seulement trois serviettes pour 5 jours, et l’hôte a été extrêmement désagréable, refusant tout remboursement, même après qu’on ait expliqué que ma mère avait des problèmes de dos. Cet hébergement est insalubre, mensonger et uniquement motivé par l’argent. Ne réservez surtout pas cet endroit !

• Annelise (3/5): I wouldn't reccomend - Not a lot unfortunately, the kitchenette was likely the best part The location was so noisy bars on one side with loud music, on the other side a main road. It was so noisy I couldnt sleep at all. The pillows didnt have protectors on so you could see yellow stained pillows underneath the cover, the bed was itchy like it had dust mites, no mattress protector was really unhygienic. The bathroom has water damage/mould, there was no side tables for the bed, the bedroom had no mirror to see getting ready. Although there was a mirror in bathroom no power sockets nearby so you cant see doing your hair etc. No wardrobe/storage to put clothes anywhere, no side lights..... I wouldn't reccomend staying here....even as a solo traveller.

• Joanna (6/5): - Lokalizacja miejsca jest doskonała. Wszędzie blisko. Mieszkanko przyjemne, choć bardzo małe. Czystość, bardzo przewiewne okna, które nie zatrzymywały hałasu z ulicy, co utrudniało sen.
• Bernadette (8/5): A clean, convenient, comfortable option that offers good value for its location - This apartment is a great option in a central City location, close to Bank, and I would use it again. It’s very well equipped although the bathroom is very small. The bed was comfy and everything was clean. The team’s communication was excellent although I am still waiting for my invoice! It could do with more plug sockets in the room. Also the apartment is up quite steep stairs. This is not an issue for me but something to be aware of if you have mobility issues. I was woken up by building noise at about 7am from the site outside. This is out of the owner’s control and presumably a temporary issue while the works are completed but check if you’re looking a lie in (sadly I had to be up for work anyway!).
• Diego (1/5): - Central, lively area 1) The service. For the entire stay i had no hot water and had to shower ice cold, and the property did not react at all despite multipke messages and call. No action, no apologies, nothing 2) the apartment is very small with no closet or shelf to puf clothes. It is also quite run down, with extensive water damage on the ceiling of the bathroom. You can't really keep the blinds open in any room as they give directly on crowded places, and you cannot easily open the window to let fresh air in without opening the blinds. The sleeping room is directly over cannon street, very noisy.

La ubicación y la zona es muy buena para moverse caminando. La cocina tiene lavadora, heladera, microondas/grill eléctrico, tazas, platos, etc. El baño es completo y la ducha tiene buena presión de agua y tiene para que se sequen las toallas. Tiene TV, calentadora de agua, tostadora, plancha y secadora de pelo. La cama estaba muy bien, dormimos cómodamente. Tener en cuenta que es un tercer piso por escalera. Todo perfecto

Smell of the subway food outlet was strong in the room. The barista in the yard behind the building was playing music at 6.40am quite loud and audible in the room.

• Abdul (1/5): Very disappointing experience - Nothing, pictures look different from the apartment given. Looks nothing like the pictures, maybe pictures are another apartment. It was very hot in the apartment. I cut my losses and left after few hours. Poor communication from them. Was not told there was some filming happening on the day i arrived so security had the whole area closed off. I had to beg them to let me through 😅 Eventually when they let me through and showed me which door I realised I didn’t have the full details to get the from the key safe or any info on which flat was allocated. I had the ring the owner to get these which should have been provided prior to arriving if it was going to be check in like that. All in all very disappointing experience. Its better off staying in a hotel. There is a very good Premier Inn nearby, for much less and more comfortable.

There is no A/C in the room, not even a fan, so it was boiling hot inside. We have opened the windows for a breeze, but at 6AM on Sunday morning, road construction workers showed up, and made quite a noise, making us having to close the windows. We have contacted our host for a fan on arrival, but it was not possible to arrange one. The extra bed we had to set up ourselves. Bedsheets for the extra bed were like if someone else slept in them before.

• Sylvia (7/5): A very central venue for my conference. Good accommodation but not easy access. - The rooms very clean and the bed very comfortable. Very prompt and clear staff responses to my queries and access issues. Very real issues with access, as the outdoor key codes were worn and so made it impossible to enter the numbers. I also had difficulty with the room door key which was different to open. There was no tea available. It was a very noisy location with sirens and crowd noise so not a restful night.

• Anthony (6/5): Pleasant - Initially at booking there was no mention of the location, which, is in the grounds of a pub, in the rear, and main road in the front, of property and to boot construction of a new high rise building , occurring until 2am. An extra issue I thought ,there was also no mention of our room being on the third floor ( no lift) with a narrow , steep set of stairs. ( luggage issues) Attitude of host Nick , was extremely poor, from texts where he indicated that we could check in an hour or two, before the mandatory 4pm check in. Sadly he didn’t follow through with his commitment and insisted on a 4 pm check in , which is ridiculous, after a 24 hr flight from Sydney, on the same day. In a nutshell, very disappointing. Now in Barcelona, Spain. Hotel is wonderful and staff are great. Kind Regards Anthony Gatt

• Emremre (1/5): It was the worst facility we have stayed in. - We have had the opportunity to stay in cities in various countries through Booking for about 10-11 years. In none of these cases have we encountered a situation where our door was wide open when we returned to our hotel/room. Until this hotel. Our 9-year-old daughter in particular was very scared, we tried hard to calm her down. We asked them about the situation by e-mail/sms or calls to get an explanation but almost 2 days passed and we did not receive an answer. That's why I would like to make comments like it was very well located, right next to the metro/subway or the sheets were old and not clean, there was not even liquid soap in the bathroom, the room was really small. Fortunately, we did not have any stolen or lost items, what if we had? Would you want to deal with this during your 2-3 day vacation? In short, the choice of accommodation in such a security-vulnerable facility is up to you.

• Lorraine (7/5): It was a great location and good value for money. - Location was great. The apartment was comfortable and cosy. It had everything that I needed. The TV only had about 6 to 8 radio stations and no TV. I don't really watch it so that wasn't a big deal for me. The key for my room was supposed to let me into the building but it didn't when I arrived back late, which caused some angst. I did reach the host easily and retrieved the front door key from the key safe. But this should be sorted out so that the instructions people are given, do actually work.

I was worried about getting the key codes since they are not sent until the day you are due to arrive. The stairs are narrow and quite steep, so would be tricky if you have large suitcases or were not very mobile.
