• Suzanne (8/5): Perfect location. A beautiful flat with all mod cons and enjoyed staying there. - Flat was lovely. Had everything we required. Well decorated and spacious. Great kitchen area- had all we required for a short stay. We found the shower jet in the en suite unusual and had to hold shower head else water would have sprayed everywhere- I did have to dry the flood on the floor initially because of this and found it easier to hold the shower head instead of having it spray everywhere! Unfortunately when we got into the flat the building and flat smelled strongly of drains! We ended up plugging showers/baths/sinks! The smell fluctuated in strength at different times of the day - having air fresheners around the flat would have made a difference! Also, something to pour down the drains when they smelled strongly may have also been helpful!
• Simon (5/5): Convenient and spacious apartment, but with a very unpleasant smell. - The apartment is in a fantastic location on Chancery Lane, just off Fleet Street. It is hugely convenient. It is a spacious duplex, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a large living space. We really appreciated the space and convenience. There is a real problem with the unpleasant smell in the apartment. We had read this mentioned in some reviews, but assumed it couldn't be too bad. Unfortunately, it is a real problem. We don't know if it is the drains or something else, but the smell was very strong. When we got home, all of our possessions smelt so strongly that we had to wash everything, including our child's cuddly toy. This is an issue that the owners really need to address.

• Nicolle (9/5): Prime location perfect for work and holiday - Location is excellent- Chancery Lane is quite relative to other parts of London so street noise more limited. Our apartment was No 1 split across ground and lower (bedrooms on lower which meant quite, dark and warm in winter! Perfect) The apartment is actually huge for London with 2 Bathrooms, excellent wardrobe hanging space etc Everything clean, linen high quality, beds good The kitchen really needs better basic equipment- no fry pan utensils, knife block really poor quality. When staying in an apartment you need to be able to use the kitchen but it needs a decent set up. The kitchen itself is excellent and great appliances.
• Abdulaziz (1/5): I don’t recommend this apartment - Location only sewag smell everywhere in the apartment and the images in the booking are not identical. They gave me a flat in the ground floor with no windows and sun light inside the bed rooms. I contacted them many time about the sewag smell and their answer to wait until they book for me an appointment with one of their team members to come and check. Then when i followed up with them, they said one of our memebrs came and said no smell “ i didn’t see him coming by the way and of course he will say like this since he’s part of their team”. One night the digital keypad didn’t work with me and i contacted them, they answer after 15 min and they asked me to record a video for them to show them how i’m using the keypad! All this happened while i’m at the door in a rainy night with my children. I asked them about the refund. They said no refund. I’m a frequent visitor to london and always i rent apartments their. This is by far the worst experience because of the smell that is inside the apartment.

Pas evident pour une personne avec un handicap. - Le mauvais état du canapé. - Pas de télécommande pour la télé. Malgré que nous l’ayons signalé, nous ne l’avons jamais recue. - Légère odeur dans les chambres en sous sol.

• Alekh (1/5): Very Poor Experience – Slow Responses and Inadequate Compensation - The area Our stay was deeply disappointing and far below acceptable standards. Just two days before arrival, we were informed that the apartment we had booked was no longer available due to a “major event.” This last-minute cancellation immediately caused stress and uncertainty, and it then took a long time for the host to even clarify what alternative they could offer. We were eventually told we would be moved to a smaller apartment with fewer rooms, but that this would be compensated by adding two proper portable beds. When we arrived, one of those beds was missing. What made the situation worse was the extremely slow and poor communication. There was no quick response, no urgency, and after repeatedly chasing the host, we were told they would “look into it the next day” and that it had been a misunderstanding. As a result, one person had to sleep on a dirty, uncleaned sofa, which is completely unacceptable. This caused neck pain the following day and ruined that person’s experience entirely. Although the missing bed was delivered the next day, the damage had already been done. The trip was disrupted, comfort was compromised, and the experience was stressful rather than enjoyable. To make matters worse, the so-called compensation amounted to £60 in total, which is frankly insulting given the scale of the issues: last-minute relocation, downgraded accommodation, poor cleanliness, and slow responses. This does not come close to reflecting the inconvenience and discomfort we experienced. I would strongly not recommend this accommodation, especially if you value reliability, cleanliness, and responsive customer service.

Apartament z 3 sypialniami, każda wygodna i przestronna, część wypoczynkowa była poziom wyżej, bardzo dużo miejsca, idealne mieszkanie dla grupy znajomych. Jedynie to, że internet słąbo działał, reszta ok.

• Nancy (3/5): Disappointed in the apartment due to the stairs, lack of adequate furniture. - Nice bathrooms , comfortable beds Many steps up and down just to get to the apartment. Then 17 steps down to the basement bedrooms. I would not have booked the apartment if I had known about the stairs.
• Motti (7/5): - מיקום מצויין, קרוב לתחנת הרכבת דירה מאובזרת עם מדיח, מכונת כביסה /מייבש כביסה. רבע שעה לפני הצ׳ק אין שתוכנן ל16:00 התקשרו והודיעו שיש בעיה עם הניקיון ונוכל להיכנס רק החל מהשעה 18:00. ככל הנראה בגלל הניקיון הזריז לא היה נייר טואלט, פנינו וקיבלנו תגובה מהירה, אבל שרק מחר יוכלו לספק נייר, כמובן שהלכנו לקנות מיידית, הנייר הגיע 5 ימים אחרי. בנוסף היינו 4 אנשים בדירת שני חדרי שינה, אחד מחדרי השינה הינו קטן עם מיטה קטנה שלא גדולה מספיק עבור שני אנשים אפילו לא למבוגר וילד. בגלל שהחדר היה במפלס נמוך יותר לא היתה בו קליטה wifi. בנוסף אין קליטה סלולרית בדירה. התמונות באתר של דירת שני חדרים לא משקפת את דירה 3 בה התאכסנו.

• Mark (9/5): A delightful stay in London in a great location. - Fantastic well equipped appartment in a great location just off Fleet Street around 10 minute walk from Covent Garden and about the same to the nearest tube stations. Appartment was really well equipped for a weekend in London and was much larger than we were expecting. Finding entrance on arrival was not the easiest due to scaffold being up at adjacent properties so not the properties fault, but property number could be more prominant on the front door. Communal area had an odd smell which others staying also commented on but no issues once in the appartment itself.

Two full bathrooms plus a cloakroom was very convenient Bedrooms are below ground the noise from the alley can be annoying especially when the restaurants dump their bottles and the workers have a late night discussion. • Sirima (8/5): Great location apartment, big clean room. Wifi is an issue. - Big, clean apartment. Great for our family of 5. Great location, near many good restaurants, bars and coffee shops. In the nice area of London. Wifi wasn’t working at all when we stayed. We contacted the staff and they told us to use Wifi of different rooms on the same floor but when I tried, it said wrong password. So we had to use the data on our phones the whole time.

We had to retry the day of arrival, but then there was miscommunication and an error in the keylock. Also the carpet on the bedrooms was not very clean.

The apartment was huge and really comfortable, clean and tidy. Good showers and other facilities. There was a strong smell of sewage in the entrance hall - once in the apartment though the smell was gone. Our room windows had bins outside which workers (?) banged quite a lot at night but to be expected in such a central city location.
• Thomas (5/5): Nice ap. but very loud - Very modern apartment, fully equipped. A bit cold (max 20,5 Celsius). Unfortunately very loud people above with kids. Walking/running around 3 nights in row till 3am. Recommend to ask the upper floor or ask if children are above. We could not sleep all three nights, even with earplugs. I contacted kindly the noisy neighbors and informed the staff from Viridian ap. But no improvement.
• Gong (3/5): The worst nightmare anyone can experience! - Location was great. Apartment was roomy. The apartment was located on the ground floor and at the rear of the apartment were the bedrooms. At the rear is an open space where rubbish and recycle bins are relocated and appeared that various buildings shared use of this space. There was a restaurant directly behind our apartment that emptied its bottles into the recycle bin throughout the night until about midnight. It made a very loud racket that jolted us awake when we were sleeping. Also, the restaurant workers would step out for a smoke and we heard them talk loudly amongst themselves throughout the night. There was also a constant hum in the building that made it very difficult to sleep. We paid dearly for this flat and suffered horribly during our stay. I complained to the management group on several occasions and they indicated that such noise is expected in the city. We have stayed in more than 50 self-directed apartments throughout the world and never had such a bad experience. I requested the management group for a partial refund but they arrogantly refused. Absolutely, stay away from the Viridian apartments!

• Brian (4/5): Acceptable - The location was great for our needs and the property was clean. The apartment was beside the trash alley and at night while trying to sleep neighboring tenants routinely throwing out trash and bottles. The trash receptacles were beside our bedroom window. Shower door leaked like a sieve and the shower had no shelves to hold soap or toiletries. No dishwasher detergent nor laundry detergent was provided making it difficult because the only neighborhood stores didn’t carry any. Maybe a cursory supply could be provided to enhance the stay. Sofa was the only seating in the living area making it hard converse at the end of the day. Maybe rearrange to include an arm chair or two. The bedrooms were in the basement and while clean and quiet question the safety in the event of a fire. Windows were not egress capable and situated too high on the wall to be useful for emergency egress. I saw one sprinkler mounted in the ceiling of the ground floor.
• Laura (7/5): Cosy stay in a great location - Cosy 2 bedroom apartment on the ground floor, it was lovely and clean and had lots of space, particularly in the bathrooms. Beds were comfy, as was the living room, and the kitchen had everything it needed. Apartment was in a great location. A small gripe over communication, the property guide inside the apartment said that there would be a daily clean with bins removed and clean towels provided, with bed changes then provided 4 times per week - this turned out to be misleading. Halfway through our week-long stay we asked when the cleaner would be coming, at which point we found out that the cleaning for our particular block would be on a Tuesday, the day before we were due to leave. Had we known this and known were to take the bins out to, we wouldn’t have found it an issue as we would have washed and dried our own towels sooner and taken out our own bins. The heating / cooling also can’t be controlled, nothing we did would speed up the heating when we arrived late on a cold night with two small children, but by the time we left the apartment was super heated.

Underfloor heating in bathrooms a bonus! Had trouble setting the heating: the apartment could have been warmer and though we followed instructions, couldn't get it to work in sitting room. Also problem connection with WiFi
• Jennine (7/5): Overall good experience. - Great location. Nice modern apartment with all the amenities you need for a short stay. Loved the nespresso machine. The shower is the downstairs bedroom en-suite is poorly fitted. When you turn it on, you have no way of redirecting the spray and it fires outwards out of the shower, soaking you and the floor! The sofa is tiny and not comfortable. The bed is the downstairs bedroom is a small double - would be a squeeze for 2 people.

• Christopher (8/5): Very good - Very convenient location for the underground and entertainment areas. The apartment was on the side of the alleyway where local restaurant bins were located. There was continuous noise of bottles being thrown away up until late at night (past midnight) and from 7am on the following day. Didn’t make for a good nights sleep. The blind mechanisms were all broken in the bedrooms, so unable to block out light.

• Anntoni (9/5): Superb - It was a great location, very clean, well appointed and a good value. There was no “staff” to rate everything was self managed if you will. So there was no one ever that we were in contact with after we got the check-in instructions, but they were easy enough to follow. It was really just like renting an apartment. Although they had minimal toiletries, coffee, and tea to get you through the first day. No hairdryers were provided. Obviously fully furnished, they provided towels, although they would only had made service if you were staying for a week. So not at all like staying in a hotel you need to come fully prepared to have all of those things on your own. Perhaps those things were clarified when I made the booking and I miss them but just important for future guest to know But again great little place I would stay there again.

Check in automatic using pin codes. Space in the apartment. Two bathrooms, two bedrooms, one toilet plus big lounge/kitchen area. The only bad thing was that the litter area was outside one of the bedrooms and lounge. Didn't bother us though.

• Dan (7/5): Nice apartament,poor management - It's a nice apartament,close to the points of interest We traveled with two childrens,and because the plane hour was later we ask for a late check out at 12 o'oclock,not 10.They only let us until 11 and they say that until 12 we have to pay 50 pounds more...I thing that i pay enought for 6 nights in that apartament,and to ask for 50 pounds for one hour more to a family with 2 childrens is somenthing that will make me to never get back here. Also for some cafee caps they ask almost double price..

• Mitzi (10/5): Awesome location. Very clean, modern conveniences, comfy beds. This place is amazing! - The keypad for the door code wasn't working, so I had to call the customer service number for instructions on how to get the keys from a lockbox. The rep was very friendly, very helpful and stayed on the line with us until we retrieved the keys. The one and only issue we had was with the washing machine. My son's clothes got locked in the machine, and we tried everything, including referencing the owner's manual to get the clothes out. I called the customer service line, but I didn't receive a call back until the next day when we were already at the airport to leave. My son went online and figured out how to empty the water line in order for the door to unlock. Then we were able to get the clothes out.
• Sudhir (10/5): We couldn’t be happier with our stay at Veridian apartments. - Excellent location and amenities in the apartment. Small issue was the fact that there was no soap and shampoo holder requiring you to bend down to pick up soap and shampoo. Not conducive especially for older people.

I asked for key to open the door to the backyard, never received. Hot water run out once while taking shower, luckily not in winter.

• Jobst (3/5): It Stunk!!!!! - The place is brand new, very well done with a few very bad exceptions. Smelled like sewer when we entered the front hall of the building. Smell had diminished outside the unit, at the back of the hall. Once inside inside the unit, the smell was worse. We walked into a two bedroom, 2 and a half bath unit. Both beds are double beds. It is a two level unit and the bedrooms are downstairs. The unit was beautifully finished recently and well furnished. The master bedroom smelled the worst. I called guest services the night we checked in and no explanation was given nor were any changes in accommodation offered, I was told by guest services the maintenance person would and did not arrive till after noon the next day. The second bedroom did not smell anywhere near as bad as the master, do we decided to sleep in that room. We reserved a one bedroom with a king bed, this was not an upgrade as far as we were concerned due to the smell. It doesn't matter how nice the place is when there was a sewage smell in most rooms. I called initially and continued corresponding via text. They said maintenance was in the unit, and they said there was no problem. The smell was gone. But when I returned that evening, nothing had changed. The sewage smell was still there. I texted back and forth with the office representative, but nothing was done as far as I'm concerned. If it wasn't for the smell and the lack of concern or an off to move to another location I'd give this a 9 or 10. But the lack of corrective action was unacceptable. No hand soap at any of the sinks. Internet TV was spotty. Can't open windows on one side due to trash area of pub and restaurants. No hand soap at any of the sinks. Second bathroom has a tub and handheld Shower, no overhead Shower.
• Andrea (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing and very spacious apartment. Great location with plenty of restaurants around. I prefer walking over taking the tube and I could get anywhere I needed to in under 30 minutes. I traveled alone and felt very safe in the apartment and in the area as well. When I arrived there was a smoke detector that had a low battery and kept beeping. I reached out and was impressed by how quickly they responded. The issue was fixed within 10 minutes from when I sent the message. I wish I was able to open the window to get some fresh air but wasn't able to. I also didn't reach out to ask how but that's the only thing.

• Peter (10/5): Very nice and clean. - I liked the location, the clean rooms, the kitchen and bathrooms. We didn't stay there for long but everything was perfect. In the apartment with one bedroom there were no soap, shower gel and shampoo that there were in the bigger apartment. Also at the wall of the bedroom there was a control panel that was light all the time so I had problem to sleep.

• Christophe (6/5): - Notre logement était très bien, neuf, mais il y a très peu de fenêtres. Par contre nous avons vécu une arrivée très compliquée puisque nous avons eu la mauvaise surprise d’arriver dans un logement déjà occupé par un autre locataire de vacances. Impossible de joindre l’agence le 25 décembre. Heureusement que le chat d’Expedia a bien fonctionné. Une heure plus tard nous avions un autre logement pour nous au sein de la même résidence. Il semblerait que l’agence a omis de nous transmettre que nous avions changé de logement depuis leur courriel 2 jours plus tôt
