Zendara (10/5): - Our stay at Jovilee Hotel was exactly what we needed. The hotel is nice, safe and clean and has self parking on site. There is no restaurant in this hotel but there is an excellent chinese restaurant across the street and they deliver to your hotel room. The location was good and the staff was friendly and helpful at all times. We recommend the Jovilee Hotel and will stay there again when we return to Belice.
Cynthia (6/5): - 2 persons staying and only 1 set of towels were available. Another set was provided, but evidently she was not too happy about bringing it when she shoved it into my chest upon the door being opened. Nothing was said.need More hooks abd shelves in bathroom. Location somewhat sketchy.

There were maybe a couple spots that could have used a better wipe down, some drips on the walls of different colors, but surfaces were all clean. Their restaurant next door was delicious too!

Wing (8/5): - Overall the hotel give me a good impression. The room is in the ground floor and is good for 2 persons. They have a table for me to work on the computer. They have refrigerator and safe deposit box. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. I have no issue about the noise from other room or from the street. The Chinese restaurant next to the hotel has good taste food. The only con I have is you cannot go out at night, as advised by my local tour guide and taxi driver. This is a common issue in Belize City.

The rooms were spacious, air conditioned and our queen sized bed very comfortable. The staff very accommodating, kind and professional. Great, secured hotel located in Belize City. Will definitely book again.

sheena (8/5): - Self check-in and out makes the service a little impersonal, but I get the gist behind it. The property itself is fairly new and clean. There is a need for more parking. Surrounding neighbourhood leaves a lot to be desired, but that is not the fault of the business. We did not necessarily feel unsafe and they do have 24 hour security on the premises. I would probably stay there again.
Bernice (8/5): - Place was very clean and quiet nicely reñovated! Staff was very friendly and helpful especially front desk. Location was very accessible, close to taxi stands and 5 mins away from water taxi, that can take you to other islands including the beach. As a solo traveller i felt safe anc at home/welcomed.
Rosana L (10/5): - The staff are great and pleasant, non-intrusive, and accommodating. There is 24 hour security with keyless entry into both the property and the rooms. It is within walking distance to the city and Tourism Village, ferries etc. If you are looking for a resort style hotel, this is not the place. The amenities are basic but exactly what a traveller on a budget needs. There are restaurants all over the place so food is never an issue. The room comes with a full sized coffee maker, microwave, bar fridge and ample dresser space/closet space.

Beat (4/5): - The location is in a very unsafe appearing neighbourhood. Was approached outside by a disturbed man who seems to deal with some sort of substance. Not recommended neighbourhood.
Anita (4/5): Not professional - I booked a 5 night stay. Everything is great. The room is nice and clean and modern with a little fridge. The mirrors needed to be cleaned but whatever. I ended up traveling to san pedro for 2 nights leaving the room vacant and informing the manager (carolina) that i would return if she could have my room cleaned. Upon my arrival the evening before i was due to depart i get to my room to see that the items i had left in the fridge were removed. As well as a charger i had forgotten to take with me. I asked the front desk where are my belongings and they didnt know. One agent said they werent sure i would be returning. Hmmm. The other agent went to check the housekeeping room. After about 20 minutes my fridge items for whatever reason were relocated to the fridge down in the lobby and my charger was now in the lobby drawer. Why were my items removed from the room i had paid for through the following day? The manager said thats how they clean the fridge. They remove the items and forgot to put them back. And my charger?? It made me think they rented out the room for a night that i wasnt there. Upon further questioning the manager was completely disinterested in my concerns. She just kept her face in her computer until i got upset and walked away. I will not be staying here again nor will i recommend anyone to stay.

Gyan (6/5): Terrible Housekeeping! - The room is nice and the bed comfortable, but that's as good as it gets. Housekeeping is by request only; meaning that if you don't request it that your room won't get cleaned and towels changed. I requested that my room be cleaned after three days and was told that I need to hang the sign on the door to get it done;I informed the desk clerk that there was no sign and it remained that way for the duration. There's a nice TV in the room but the only source of entertainment is via a Firestick that buffers continuously. This is not a hotel that I will ever book again.

Lo uni o raro es el vecindario pero no ouedo quejarme ya que por ese costo fue realmente agradable el hotel. Tienes cerca las embajadas y el malecon. Ademas tienes cerca muchos lugares para comer delicioso.

Bryan (8/5): - Once inside the Jovilee, it is an excellent hotel and would recommend it, unless you are uncomfortable with the surrounding neighborhood. Like much of Belize city, the neighborhood is run down and conjested with limited parking and an abandoned house across from the hotel.

Great wifi, modern tech, including door codes instead of keys, modern toilets/plumbing where I can flush the toilet paper, Firetv, USB ports all over, etc.
