• Sasha (10/5): Beautiful, spacious modern apartment in the lion's den of ancient Rome - Modern, recently renovated, well-furnished, spacious apartments with everything you need to explore the heart of Rome. Walking distance from most of the major sites, surrounded by great restaurants, this is a fantastic location. The apartments have all amenities - full kitchen, coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine. Ours had generous energy suite bathrooms in both bedrooms and a balcony. There is also a shared roof terrace. I highly recommend Sonder Antinoo for your stay in central Rome. The Sonder app didn't work for me, I couldn't verify my phone number but the staff were in touch and sorted everything out.

• Sylvi (6/5): Pleasant stay but disappointing end due to blocked shower drain - Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Sonder Apartments. The location is excellent — right in the heart of Rome and within walking distance to many attractions, restaurants, and cafés. Our apartment was spacious and nicely furnished, with plenty of storage and even a small kitchenette for preparing meals. The Sonder team also provided thorough pre-arrival information, including all the necessary PIN codes, which made check-in very straightforward once we had arrived. That said, we did experience an issue during our 3-night stay. In the Queen room, the shower area is not fully enclosed, which meant the entire bathroom becomes a wet area after use. For the first two nights this wasn’t a major problem, as the entire bathroom dried quickly and we managed by wearing slides. However, on the third night the shower drain became clogged and stopped draining properly, causing the bathroom to flood — with water even spreading into the bedroom. As the property isn’t staffed after 6pm, support was only available through the app. While the online chat team responded promptly, it took around 30-45 minutes for someone from a nearby hotel in the same group to arrive with extra towels. In the meantime, we mopped up as best as we could with the towels we had. Upon inspection, it was clear the drain was blocked with hair and hadn’t been cleaned for some time. We raised this with the staff member who eventually attended and hope this was fixed for the next person staying. It was a disappointing end to our otherwise pleasant stay in the apartment.

I gave it 4 stars because the staff said they had arrange transport to the train station for us (7 people) but no taxi or transport came. We barely made our train by using none member’s uber account to get ther. Just minutes befor departure in 9 degree heat.

The apartment was exceptionally spacious, with a sleek, modern design that made us feel right at home — we genuinely could have lived there permanently. The sofa bed was, without question, the most comfortable we’ve encountered in Europe. The staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary still and sparkling water. Everything was spotless, and the added convenience of secure lockers for our late check-out — provided at no cost — was a game-changer. Truly one of the best stays we’ve experienced. Highly recommended. The beds were on the firmer side, which some guests may prefer for better support. While we personally lean toward softer mattresses.

Easily accessible, clean appearance, great Terrance for end of night or early morning. Although we did have good communication via whats app it can be challenging to resolve any issues asap. For 3 nights it was perfect but any more days cleaning staff would be ideal to offer at no charge.

• Gali (9/5): Superb - Great location in Rome, just a few minutes' walk from all the main attractions. Carrefour supermarket is only 20 meters from the hotel, which was very convenient. Rooms are clean and beautifully designed. The self-service station for toilet paper and other essentials is also very convenient. The rooftop is really nice! It can be a bit noisy due to the nearby road. Reception hours are limited (9:30–18:30). The faucet was a bit annoying — the water stream was very strong and hard to control.

Safe to stay out till pretty late, secure door system despite no reception after hours. 4. clean minimalist design of space, high ceilings. We will definitely be back to Sonder properties.

Although we did not need a cleaning, staying longer than 3 nights would require at least a towel change. When looking through the service options the cleaning fee was really hight (80 Euro per cleaning if i remember correctly). Also, Since there's a kitchen i would recommend (at least) having salt, pepper and oil available.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Ate the nonrefundable deposit to stay elsewhere - Not much positive to say. Good location and it worked ok for friends staying with a larger family that needed a multi-room apartment with a kitchen although rooms are pretty spartan. The single rooms were cheaply subdivided from a larger original apartment. The result is almost no water pressure, no hot water, no thermostat in our individual room, very cheap/uncomfortable furniture, and no sound proofing. Hotel has no real lobby and is very loud with all the foot traffic outside. The Sonder virtual model made it impossible to correct any of these issues in a timely manner. Rather than waste our rare vacation time we chose to forgo two more non-refundable nights and go stay somewhere else. Would not recommend staying here, especially given the number of options in this area of Rome.

Short ride to the Coliseum and various iconic sights. So much room! We had 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a living room that doubled as another bedroom with a pullout sofa and its own full bathroom! Kitchenette and dining area. One of the towel heating/drying racks was broken and one of the shower heads was broken.
