- Amare Mezgebu (7/5): I happy for getting an affordable home for stay. However, as it is shared room, disturbance is unavoidable. - It is affordable for low income groups, and even provides food. That is much appreciated. As it is a shared room and accommodate people with different purposes, some working nights shifts and others sleep at day and work at night, it created disturbance. I didn’t slept properly. Many distractions almost the whole night.

The location is great, in zone 1, next to the metro, within walking distance of the event I was attending. Initially, I booked accommodation for 5 days instead of 6, because all the places were booked for the weekend. But the administration, at my request, tracked the availability of places and, fortunately, one appeared. So I didn't even have to move to another accommodation. The staff always helped to resolve any issues that arose. In the 4-bed room where I lived, the damaged toilet seat needs to be replaced.

Maybe needed nicer pillows and mattresses for more comfort.

- Mickael (8/5): Très agréablement surpris - j’y reviendrai certainement - Situé près de Hyde Park entre Marble Arch et Notting Hill dans un quartier résidentiel l’hôtel est dans un coin très tranquille et safe ! Chambre plutôt spacieuse pour une personne avec lavabo - 4 SDB communes avec soit douche soit baignoire sur le palier - C pas de la première fraîcheur mais très correcte niveau propreté ! Je le conseille et le rapport qualité prix en plein mois d’août à Londres pour une chambre seul est défiant toute concurrence ! Sans ascenseur et forcément j’étais dans une chambre tout en haut au 4eme ! Le petit déjeuner compris n’était pas dingue - j’aurais pu m’en passer au final et le check out est à 10H sans possibilité de changer 🤷🏻♂️

- Ornella (10/5): Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo - La posizione è comodissima e strategica… la struttura è immersa in una bella, tranquilla e sicura zona residenziale… ci sono varie fermate metro e anche varie cose da visitare a piedi nelle aree circostanti, tra cui Notting Hill, Portobello Road, Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park.. Inoltre, ho conosciuto una splendida Rossella alla reception, simpatica e disponibile!
- Mike (6/5): Pleasant - Mattress was nice and firm , was also a good sized room for a single ,2 chests of drawers I wardrobe and a desk and chair plus a single bed,vasin in the room and toilets and showers along the corridor. Very quiet considering mist of the clientele were young. The whole building is kept clean and tidy and appears to be well maintained. The staff were poite and very helpful It was very warm and the window had a restrictor fitted and no fan in the room if I'd been staying for more than 2 nights I'd have bought 1. Only 1 pillow on the bed and that was quite thin

I felt like they were unpleasantly surprised to find me staying in their room . Free breakfast was only until 830am , it seemed that the hostel was full of workers like the women I shared my room with , I suddenly had become her room mate for the night !

- Jenneh (7/5): It was good and I would stay again. - I was given very clear instructions and was offered free dinner (on top of my free breakfast) which was kind. The staff were approachable and friendly. I think the fact some people have stayed there for 6 months + says a lot. The bed was very comfy and fabulous location! There was little storage and I didn’t really have anywhere to lock my things away. There was some smudges and spills on the walls which made it feel a little dirty. Also I was asleep one day and cleaners came in regardless to clean. It was 2 males and as a lone female I felt very uncomfortable.

- Larry (6/5): Not the best of stays. I have stayed in better hostels for the Notting Hill carnival in the past. - The closeness to where I was engaging in an activity. The locker key was not working and there were other people staying in the room so this situation took away from my already short rest as I was trying to be aware of my valuables whilst also trying to sleep. Also, the shower head in the shower room is non-adjustable and the outlet fitted very close to the wall meaning I had to stand so close to the pipe to get water on my body and at a point whilst trying to get some water on my body, I mistakenly touched the hot pipe and got burnt. With this type of shower there might as well be a bucket and a bowl or something to fetch water from, though a bit backward but that’s easier and less risky.

It wasn’t made clear when booking that long term residents live there. The room was absolutely disgusting in terms of cleanliness the long term resident used the sink for dishes. Insects crawling in via the window. Genuinely filthy. I’ve stayed in hostels before and you know what to expect but never one as bad as this.

- Silvia (2/5): Very poor - its good located close to a underground. i have choose a room for 4 people, however i didnt spect one of them was living in that room for more than a year and the room was messy all the time, super dirty bathroom, food in the room and it smelled very bad. that kind of things should be inform the next time, because Sharing a room with 4 travelers is not the same as sharing a room with a person who has been in that room for more than a year.
- Levi (3/5): Poor - The location is very useful, with close access to parks, the underground, and the railway station. I booked into a 4 bedroom male dorm, under the impression of the pictures shown -- they are NOTHING like the pictures. Huge false advertising. Instead I slept with a bunch of students who essentially live there -- I was sleeping in their bedroom. It reeked of teenage boys who seldom showered, drenched in Lynx deodorant. Upon that, their stuff is everywhere, taking up most of the room. When I closed my locker, a heavy box of blades fell from the top, missing my head by inches. Nothing should be up there. In the centre, taking up the room, were desks for these students, on which their laptops lived. As they work there, you have no privacy to take a nap. I have slept in hostels of 18 people in a room, and taking a nap was always, always possible - why is it a struggle in a 4 bedroom? When I had taken a nap after a very long trip, the room being to myself, one of the occupants arrived and shouted to wake me up, just to introduce himself. What was that about? My mattress was faulty. The springs were strong on one half, worn on the other. I slept on a slope that would cause me to roll to the edge. When the guy above needs to get into bed, the whole bunk bed shakes with instability. Having slept in various hostels, your bed should always be left however you leave it. Here they have a room service where they never made or dressed my bed, but went through all my stuff and organised it into a pile. I got so much anxiety, but thankfully nothing was taken to my knowledge. Please, don't touch the bed until the guest has checked out - they have paid for a space, so just leave it until it's no longer theirs. The room was ridiculously hot. There is no air conditioning whatsoever, nor air ventilation. The window barely opens 6 inches, so cannot get a breeze, fresh air, or cool the room. All the occupants there hang out in their underwear, sweating, because they have no choice.
- Rika (5/5): 若者の短期宿泊向け - The staff, including the volunteers, rarely smile, but are very kind. They will politely respond to any questions or requests. There is no elevator, so this facility is suitable for young people and short-term use. My roommate, who had been staying there for a long time, left both the top and bottom of the window open, so I couldn't stand the freezing cold from night to morning, and I checked out early, even though I had planned to stay two more nights. I couldn't get a refund, but I moved to another hotel because I felt like I would freeze to death. Another reason I couldn't sleep was because my roommate, a Muslim, prayed early in the morning. They should allow Muslims to use a separate room for prayer so that they can pray in the middle of the night or early in the morning. The shower doesn't have a curtain, so the water gets the floor and walls wet, and there is no table to put your clothes on, so it's not hygienic. You can't tell if the toilet is in use, and it's a hassle to use the laundry. Although there are many staff members, the reception is closed from night to morning, so they can't help you if you have a problem at night.

People -live- there, it's not really a hostel but functions as an accommodation for students. The showers look like from the caravan park or are cold. The light turns off after a minute, so you have to reach out of the shower and wave your arm. Not sure if the blanket was changed. There was a kitchen right next to a toilet. Eww. The so-called study room had space for three people only. On top £35/40€ per night. You can get good accommodation for the money in London. I was just fooled by the pictures. Staff was nice.

- Travellerarch (9/5): Great facilities, location and comfort! - I liked everything about the hostel. Especially the location and the neighborhood were great. It is right above Hyde Park, among the pretty streets. Easy to reach everywhere. I stayed in a 4-bed female dormitory with a private bathroom. There are sockets next to the bed. There is a cabinet you can lock and plenty of drawers to put your stuff, making your stay very comfortable. There are small kitchens with a kettle, fridge and microwave, which is great. The staff was really helpful, they let me leave my luggage after check-out for few hours. There is a dining room where they serve breakfast for free and dinner for a very small fee. I was lucky that I stayed on the first floor. Otherwise, it would be very difficult to carry my luggage to the upper floor as there is no elevator. There was a problem with the drain. Water was pooling while taking a bath.
