• Neusa (5/5): Lugar de passagem - O espaço dos quartos são bons e arejados. O pequeno almoço razoável. Sem 1 único mosquito🙏 A limpeza magnífica Um parque mesmo em frente ao hostel para as crianças brincarem, meu filho fez muitas amizades Os funcionários podiam falar o crioulo ou o português, além só do inglês. Deve haver segurança para os hóspedes na entrada do hostel. Deveria haver microondas para aquecer as comidas para as crianças. Nós quartos devia haver uma malme (cómoda) para poder guardar as roupas.

Toutes les commodités à moins de 5 min à pied (épicerie, restaurant, banque, pharmacie, etc); à 10 min de l’aéroport. Le personnel est sympathique.

• C. (8/5): Un endroit bien situé pour découvrir Praia - Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au Cap-Vert. L’hôtel est propre, bien entretenu et l’accueil a été chaleureux dès l’arrivée. Le personnel est à l’écoute, disponible et toujours prêt à aider, ce qui rend le séjour vraiment agréable. L’ambiance générale est positive et humaine, et on s’y sent bien. Très bon hôtel dans l’ensemble, avec un excellent accueil et une bonne propreté. Je recommande, tout en espérant quelques améliorations sur le Wi-Fi et l’environnement sonore. Quelques points peuvent toutefois être améliorés : • La connexion Wi-Fi, qui n’est pas toujours stable, ce qui peut être gênant selon les usages. • Le quartier, parfois un peu bruyant, notamment à certains moments de la journée ou en soirée. Cela dit, ces points n’ont pas gâché notre expérience.

• Claude (7/5): - Chambre spacieuse propre et confortable dans ,un quartier dynamique, et pratique pour parcourir la ville à pied. Une plage avec bars et restaurants à proximité (1/4 h à pied). Le petit-déjeuner (excellent) ne se prend pas sur place mais dans le restaurant voisin. Nous avons pas mal attendu la navette à l'aéroport. Si c'était à refaire, on prendrait directement un taxi à l'arrivée.

• Jessica (9/5): Elena, un encanto, falta de información - El trato recibido por Elena, recepcionista y persona que da los desayunos. Con ella todo sale a la perfeccion, con el resto de personal tengo que decir que no. De noche cierran la puerta y en una ocasion que llegamos sobre las 10, habia un chico de noche y tardó en abrirnos como media hora para poder entrar.... además comentar que nos cobraron un importe diferente al de la reserva debido a unas tasas.... En ningun momento en la página de booking pone tal información y tampoco en el hotel... El recepcionista se puso bastante a la defensiva... Un momento desagradable.
• Andrea L (7/5): Okay for short stay - The receptionists were nice, the place was okay, nice decorations and not bad installation. They resolved quickly some misunderstanding we had in regards the type of room I booked. There is bars and shops close by, the area is safe to walk. The location is not the best but is okay for short stay. The rooms were I was allocated were not super clean, I saw body hairs of previous people, seems like was quickly cleaned but for 1 night I was not wanting to complain. The noise on the street is a lot, kids will be playing around until late, if you will want some calm might not be the place for you. I didn't have chance to get breakfast so not aure about this and they reply late.

• REGINE (4/5): - La situation de l'hôtel dans un quartier sympa L'accueil, nous avons été logés dans une chambre double avec sdb commune alors que nous avions réservé une double avec salle de bains privée. Et aucune remise de prix a été effectuée ! Pas sympa du tout ni très honnête alors que des chambres étaient disponibles. Hotel à éviter!
• Ana María (1/5): - Nada, no pudimos ver el hotel. Reservamos y cuando llegamos nos dijeron que había overbooking. Lo peor fue la ineptitud del recepcionista y la poca predisposición a ayudarnos. Nos dijo que tendríamos que buscar otro sitio y no quiso ni pedirnos un taxi para ir al nuevo alojamiento. Tuvimos que ir a pie de noche. Le insistimos y solo decía que no podía ayudarnos sin ni siquiera mirarnos a la cara. No se lo recomendaría a nadie
• jacques (6/5): Nous a convenu pour un séjour court - Rue "un peu" animée , jeux d'enfants, animations au fond de la rue, pas de sentiment d'insécurité même si le soir ça n'est pas très bien éclairé.Petit déjeuner correct bien qu'un peu organisé à la dernière minute! Chambre avec salle de bain privative au 3 ème et dernier étage avec clim mais un peu faible et douche sans pression ni eau chaude mais avec la chaleur ça passe... • Peter.Lindemann (8/5): Schöne und saubere Unterkunft :) - Sehr schöne und saubere Unterkunft. Wer das authentische Praia erleben möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Am Anreisetag begrüßte uns die Gastgeberin mit einer Alkoholfahne bei der wir auch am gleichen Tag bezahlten Am nächsten Tag der Abreise verlangte der Nachtwächter plötzlich erneut Geld von uns, da anscheinend nicht dokumentiert wurde, dass wir bezahlt hatten. Nach einiger Zeit konnte das Durcheinander gelöst werden und wir schafften noch zum Glück unseren Anschlussflug.

• Oleksii (7/5): Ok budget place in Praia - Friendly staff. Large room. Bed was quite comfortable as for me. Location is specific, but there is a bus stop nearby, which can take you to the center for less than 50 escudos, it was safe at night in my opinion. There are several small supermarkets nearby, a bank to change money, cafés etc. You can pay by card for the stay. Good fridge, air conditioning. No lamp by the bed. Only soap for washing, there was no shower gel or shampoo. Wardrobe was dirty at the top (dust), which made my clothes dirty. Breakfast starts quite late, at 8:00 and is limited in itself, also on the second morning, I arrived later and the impression was that no more food was added after it started - the choice was even smaller than on the first morning.

• Gyulane (4/5): it does not give what it offers. - .receptionist was nice the room was not cleaned for a week, towels and bed linen were not changed, garbage was not taken out, the breakfast was monotonous. it was always like that for a week. the street was noisy, there was no shower gel, hairdryer, toilet paper was not changed... they did not give what was on the booking.
• Gilles (5/5): some very basic maintenance would go a long way - The staff was nice and welcoming, the bed was good and the shower was ok. A little list of broken stuff for the second floor room called "Santiago": door latch does not work, electrical sockets fall off, bed side lamps have no plugs (!?), fridge does not close properly runs all night and prevents sleeping, the one sofa is broken and unfit to seat presumptive user, curtains fall off when trying to close them as rods not fastened to brackets, bathroom furniture falling to bits, etc.

Lena, Jil, Bacary, and the rest of the staff was incredibly kind and helpful, going above and beyond to help with absolutely everything I needed. They are very special people, and they are running a very clean, comfortable, reliable place. I would absolutely stay here again. The wifi worked well, I appreciated the hot shower, the bed was comfortable, and I enjoyed the location. About a half-hour walk from Plateau, Sucupira, or Palmarejo, with plenty of ATMs, minimarts, and restaurants just a few minutes' walk away. N/A

• Gabriele (9/5): GREAT VALUE! - Great ‘hostel’ which I’d say feels more like a hotel! One of the best rooms I have had in Cabo Verde for this price! Totally recommend it. The receptionist Bacarri was of great help and very friendly, sound guy! Breakfast was included and it has a lovely selection with fresh Baobab juice too! Wi-fi worked fine as well. not the best location but safe!

A bit rough around the edges in places, and some music playing in the street until after midnight, but overall good value and what I needed. Few small things. No towel provided, didn’t have time to ask so used my own. Air con remote a little temperamental. Wouldn’t want to walk into town on my own at night from there, but fine in the day. Only a sheet provided.

The breakfast was great always fresh bread ,fruit,cake ,juices etc Had a very nice clean and comfortable room with balcony. I liked that the place was always kept spotless. Location wasn’t too bad it was just a short taxi or bus ride to town and maybe a 15 min walk to the beach. can’t think of anything

I was surprised to discover the room was air conditioned too. Exactly what I needed for a one night stay in Praia. The location is not the best but it is still a walkable distance to the beach or to the town centre - or a short taxi ride.

• Maria (9/5): Highly recommended - the staff here are wonderful! - The staff really made me feel welcome and were always available to answer any enquiries I had. I ended up extending my stay and they were very accomodating. I flew in very late in the evening and as a solo female traveller, arriving in to a new city can be quite daunting, but there was already a staff member waiting to help with my luggage from the taxi. Breakfast was healthy and delicious with plenty of options available, and was offered in a lovely communal space. Location was close to supermarkets and good restaurants with more of a local vibe, which I find more enjoyable than what you can find in the overpriced tourist areas. Wifi would drop out often but I was hardly in my room so it wasn't a major problem.

Though keep in mind that this hostel is about 1.5km from the city centre in a residential area AND you have to walk up and down 2 hills to get there. This is not particularly bad, just noteworthy, especially if you're without a car. See above: the area around is more a residential area, not super downtown. But if you're not looking for many bars and restaurants, you'll be happy here!

You can take the bus no 6 to the city center (Plateau) a vouple of streets away if you want to explore the local sights. Breakfast was basic. Overall a good stay for a hostel!

• Primoz (7/5): Regardless, the stay was quite pleasant for a short period. - Since we arrived in the middle of the night, they organized a transfer from the airport. The staff were pleasant. Breakfast was basic and self-service, nothing special. The location is a bit remote, but peaceful. Definitely recommended for those with a car. There are some great restaurants nearby that are within walking distance. Rooms with slightly worn-out furnishings. In one room there was air conditioning in the other only a fan. Since we were a family of four, we could be put in rooms on the same floor and thus share the same bathroom without being scattered all over the hostel. The shared bathroom could use some renovation, especially the shower cabin.

At night it was quite noisy outside the hotel. The equipment of the room was little bit outdated and insufficient (for three people).
