- Kinne (7/5): Prieswerte Unterkunft fuer Einzelpersonen auf Durchreise direkt am Central Park - gute Lage, direkt am Central Park, gute Sicherheit, Koffer konnten vor und nach Auschecken abgelegt werden, Bagel, Kaffee und Eistee zum Fruehsteck, Handtuch und Shampoo wurden bereitgestellt sehr laute Kilmaanlage, Schliessfach zu klein, Strom und Licht im Schlafkasten erforderten die Zimmerkarte (was nicht gut genug erklaert worden war)

I stayed in a luxury pod in a 4 person room with a private bathroom. I found it was good value for the price. The pod system gives a nice amount of privacy, and most guests are very considerate and respectful.

- Otto L (9/5): Excellent value & comfort! - The luxury pod was surprisingly comfortable and spacious. I slept like a baby! The AC system was soothing. The breakfast was a nice bonus although basic. The price is absolutely incredible and you don't get anything comparable in New York City. The bathrooms were clean too. One of the best value accommodations around! The breakfast area can get crowded. There is no elevator, so prepare to get some exercise.

No ato da reserva não tinha aviso ou não vi que não tem elevador e tive que subir até o 4° andar com uma mala pesada. Falta área comum com estrutura.

Faible insonorisation des capsules, j’entendais les faits et gestes de mes colocataires et le son de leur vibreur. Peu de place dans la chambre pour nos valises.

Also the building feels safe, as the reception is 24/7 and you need to tap your card to open the front door. The rooms are comfortable too, I had no issues at all. Pods are nice and offer cool options like climate control, lighting etc. It could have more shower rooms. Each room has only 1 bathroom and I only saw 1 or 2 more on a floor. The lockers in the rooms are tiny and no realistic bag-pack can fit in them, making them pretty useless. If they had larger ones, then the utility would go up by a lot.

- Camila (9/5): Otimo para viajar sozinha e conhecer pessoas - Eu recomendo muito ficar hospedado no KAMA se vocês está viajando sozinho. É um ótimo ambiente para fazer amizades, as cabines promovem uma privacidade, não tive nenhum problema com barulho nem desorganização. Os funcionários são incríveis, gostaria de registrar um elogio à Julia, que além de me recepcionar de maneira carinhosa ainda me deu várias dicas de lugares para visitar na cidade e como se localizar com o metrô. Valentina tambem foi muito recepitiva e prestativa. Isso definitivamente mudou minha experiência. Acredito que a limpeza do banheiro poderia ter sido feita com maior frequência, principalmente o chão. Ademais, nenhum outro problema.

The bathroom door was also very squeaky so always very conscious of disturbing others when having to get up at night or early in the morning.

Sauberkeit war grenzwertig - Die Lage ist nicht schlecht, obere Upper West side aber direkt am Central Park und mit der Metro ist man sehr schnell in der Innenstadt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat im Rahmen ihrer begrenzten Möglichkeiten lösungsorientiert. Da mein Pod in der ersten Nacht nicht funktioniert hat, habe ich einen Refund bekommen. Das Bett war sauber. Mein Pod hat in der ersten Nacht nicht funktioniert, niemand konnte es reparieren da um 9 nur noch die Rezeption besetzt ist. Es war etwas umständlich, wurde dann aber für die nächsten Nächte umgebucht. Das Badezimmer war schmutzig und der Wasserhahn war kaputt. Frühstück bestand aus Bageln, Creme cheese und Marmelade in den kleinen Plastikcontainern, Kaffee und Saft. Alles nach First Come, First serve Prinzip. Meist war nach 7:30 alles schon weg. Musste zweimal nochmal wegen des Refunds nachfragen da keine interne Kommunikation bestand.

- Alexander (10/5): Ich würde dieses Hostel erneut buchen und kann es nur weiterempfehlen. - Ordentlich, sauber, super organisiert (man muss sich um nichts kümmern), liebes Personal (die Rezeption ist immer besetzt) und in sehr schöner, zentraler Lage. Sogar Frühstück (Bagel, Früchte, Kaffee) ist inbegriffen und es gibt einen Gemeinschaftsraum, wo man mit den anderen Gästen gemütlich sitzen oder essen kann zu entspannter Musik. Und das alles zu einem sehr fairen Preis! Manche Gäste halten sich nicht an die Etikette (Sauberkeit, Rücksichtnahme).

- Maria Giovanna (5/5): - Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo , nella parte nord est di central park. Facilmente raggiungibile e a pochi metri dalla metro. Lo staff comunque super cortese e disponibile anche per refill asciugamani. Stanza per 4 veramente piccolissima. Solo un appoggio e nessuno spazio per valigia. In bagno purtroppo non c’è nemmeno una mensola per appoggiare un sapone o dei vestiti ( almeno al 3 piano ). Inoltre non c’è ascensore. In ogni caso per pochissime notti può essere passabile!
- Melvyn (9/5): A great New York experience. - When someone like me had the opportunity to stay at several hostels in Manhattan, you are always happy after to return to KAMA. No open ceiling there but quiet nights, clean bathrooms, large and comfortable pods. Even the guests seem to be different. What strikes me the most is the people, from the reception staff to the owner, from the manager to the cleaning crew. From Alex to Julia, from Alejandra to Guillermo, or Nyla or Melany. They are like family, but behaving very professionally. Thanks to all. Iced tea for breakfast. What happened to orange juice? Actually, you have to think hard to find some negatives or to criticize this place.

- Olga (6/5): Expected something better - The location right next to central park was great. Also just a few minutes walk to the metro. The rooms were very small, the beds were making lots of noise when person in the upper bed was moving. Bathrooms were not cleaned regularly. Kitchen was very poorly equipped (no plates, cutlery), most dishes available were dirty.
- David (8/5): Me gustó mucho la ubicación el servicio, hay delis y tiendas bares a pocas cuadras, por lo que q puedes hacer planes sin - Ubicación, comodidad, personal La ducha de la habitación estaba sin agua caliente, tuve que ducharme siempre en las duchas compartidas. No estuvo mal, estaba siempre limpias y vacías. Pero fue un poco incómodo
