- Jade (8/5): - The bed felt more clean than some cheap hotels Ive stayed in. Other than that it's downtown LA lol
- Wyatt (8/5): - Very nice and affordable

- Daniel (8/5): - Need the beds to be bigger the rooms where very clean and the bathroom
- Blessing (10/5): - It was okay, average. No high expectations, fair for the price.
- Kevin (8/5): - it was good for a hostel. i did get quite a few bug bites because the doors and windows would be left open always. and you can’t flush TP down the toilet. aside from that though, just bring earplugs to sleep and you’ll be fine. the beds were quite comfortable and the rooms were air conditioned well. the people working there were nice and helpful as well. for the price, it’s well worth it.
- Juan (10/5): Perfect for attending at LACC - Very accessible and centric , comfortable beds and clean and nice rooms , clean bathroom and like the personal light and AC plug from the beds
- Ethan (10/5): - X
- Javad (6/5): - Decent for the price. But be aware old sheets , old towels and dirty floors. Plus very dusty.
- Nadeep (10/5): - I alwaya feel welcome there
- Reginice (8/5): - I stayed at the Burlington Hostel for 4 nights.
PROS:
It is conveniently located to many places downtown LA.
The female dorm was clean, the bed mattress was super comfortable, the bed pods have private lights and outlets.
The staff is very responsive on their hotline phone number.
The front yard and porch is nice place to relax.
CONS
The kitchen is lacking in utensils; there was, literally, 1 fork. The pantry could and fridge could use a deep cleaning.
The female dorm needs to have a proper lock on it; the hostel should invest in, maybe, adding a PIN code or key card lock.
With all said, I would stay here, again, on a future visit to Los Angeles.
Reminders for guests staying in a shared space/dorm or hostel. Try to keep quiet during night time hours while moving about in a room. Try to refrain from watching videos without headphones or holding conversations during quiet hours. Clean up after yourself.
- Michael L. Webb (8/5): - I really enjoyed my stay here especially after staying at another hostel not too far away from this location. It's like night and day between the two and they're only blocks away from each other. The check-in here was a lot smoother, more organized and professional. The text alerts and details were easy to understand. The bunks are set up to where it feels like you have your own room. They're really comfortable, especially bunk 5.... The lockers are clean and functional. Quiet and clean facility.... My only issue is with the downstairs shower, but no big deal. Glad I was able to get a good shower in... I do plan on staying here again real soon....
- Gregory (10/5): Burlington Hostel - It was more than fine. S few glitches but otherwise a really pleasant experience
- Angelo (10/5): - Very safe place
- Ferdinand (6/5): - Dissent property but limited in terms of services since there's no one to talk to but it's the setup offered...
- Angelo (10/5): - Staying at the Burlington Hostel was a very nice time. I had the opportunity to connect and vibe
- david (10/5): - Managers are nice, place is quiet. Property is nice and patio is lovely.
- Leslie (2/5): - Horrible place. I was harrassed and threatened and management did absolutely nothing anout it. I didn't even stay the first night. They just acted like nothing happened. Do not stay here
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice stay. - Very nice hostle. I have not stayed in many hostels in the States but this was one of if not the nicest. The location is a bit out of the way, and way far from where I came from
(another hotel in LA); but found the local restaurants interesting enough. Coffee in the morning would have been a nice touch. Getting buzzed in to wait in the yard 1/2 an hour before ckin rather than outside on the sidewalk with bags might have been appreciated as well. Otherwise, nice place, nice stay :). Oh - and one thing I noticed: your electrical seems to be having power surges once every great while; so I was a bit worried about charging my phone, etc. Might want to have someone look into that . Plus, of course plumbing...
- Treasure (4/5): - The place was dirty I would not recommend this to a dog. Please do not go here I had complain several times. I had to leave in the middle of the night because I felt that I was not safe. They need to post the rest of the house because it's horrible. Please find somewhere else to go.
- Edrian Melchor (10/5): - I am super grateful I came across this property. Super safe and super organized. I’ve grown to love the people that stay here and have been able to find a home. Thank you so much!
- Justin (10/5): - I love the check in options I receive by being a long time standing member with the hotel located in downtown Los Angeles. When arriving to my pod the blankets, sheets and pillows are always perfectly nestled and folded for my slumber. Check in is at 3pm but if you call and ask the staff for early arrival options they may allow you to check in earlier. If your looking for a place to sleep and rest for the night without all the hassle it's the perfect place for that.
- Quincii (10/5): - Cute hostel
- Quincii (10/5): - Great location
- Quincii (10/5): - Great location
- Quincii (10/5): - Great location by the Crypto arena and LA Live.
- Quincii (10/5): - Great location
- Quincii (10/5): - They did a deep cleaning during my stay. Improved cleanliness and customer service.
- Quincii (10/5): - Great location to LA Live. Easily walkable or bikable.
- Quincii (10/5): - Great location and easily walkable and bikable to LA Live
- Quincii (10/5): - Much improved customer service and easily walkable or bikable to LA Live
- Quincii (2/5): - Very rude housekeeper (Puerto Rican man named Joseph) who leaves pantry, kitchen, and bathrooms dirty most of the time.
- Quincii (2/5): - The housekeeper is extremely rude and it's a roach motel in the kitchen and pantry. I only stay here due to the location for work.
- Quincii (4/5): - Kitchen and bathrooms are constantly dirty. House is only cleaned once a day. The stove area is filthy. Cabinets and pantry area are roach infested. The live-in housekeeper thinks the house is clean. The toaster is incredibly dirty and a roach motel.
- Quincii (4/5): - The kitchen and bathrooms are constantly dirty. The stove area is filthy. The cabinets and pantry area are roach infested. The toaster is a roach motel. The live-in housekeeper thinks the house is clean.
- Justice (2/5): - Management is horrible. Showers not working. Toilets not working. Dirty. Unsanitary. Slum lords.
- Quincii (6/5): - The house cleaner only cleans once a day and the house is dirty hy check in time.
- Quincii (2/5): - Live in cleaner is lazy and the bathrooms and kitchen are always dirty. The toilets always have pee on them.
- Quincii (4/5): - The bathroom with the only shower is constantly clogged. I asked the house manager to unclog it and he said he did not want to. I finally unclogged it after it being clogged forever a day just so I can shower without the stinch of poo. The kitchen is cleaned only a day and is VERY dirty most of the time.
- Quincii (4/5): - The only working shower had a toilet that always was clogged. The house manager let it sit for days. I asked him to unplug it and he said he didn't want to. I finally did it myself so I can shower without the stinch of poo. The other bathrooms are similar. The kitchen and bathrooms are very poorly maintained. The kitchen is. Only cleaned onde a day and is barely mopped.
- Zul Hakim Bin (2/5): - Dirty
- Covin J (2/5): - Lacked hospitality. False advertisement. Bathrooms were filthy. The bunk i slept in had a smell of mildew, wires were popping out of wall and there were spiders (daddy long legs) property definitely needs pluming, pest control and bedding. The people were kind. The housing and stay was awful.
- Quincii (6/5): - Kitchen and bathroom cleanliness is poor.
- Quincii (6/5): - Kitchen and bathroom cleanliness is poor
- Eladrienne (2/5): - Not clean at all and smells horrible
- Jeff (10/5): - A good place for me. Convenient to where i need to be.
- Shawn (8/5): Comfy Bed - Bed is comfortable
- Verified traveler (10/5): it was pleasant - Comfortable bed and clean bed sheets, ( pillows could be upgraded ) automated climate system kept the room cool and air fresh, light blocking curtains, spacey clean kitchen with paper plates, bowls, and eco friendly utensils. Some guests didn't clean after themselves but that's on them.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Hostel stay - I chose to stay there and it was not something I could enjoy because of everything wrong. Dirty all over the house. Someone would come in late at night and don’t know who it is to be safe. No door locked. Cats 🐈 come inside too. Ken Leave. A mess in kitchen counter and sink. Could not cook at all. Parking on street was not easy. It is so hard to find a spot when you move
- Malia (10/5): - No sound or noise restrictions regardless of the time of day. Other Hostels provide a more quiet environment between 11pm and 10am. Seasoned guests do not tip-toe around nor do they attempt to stifle their noises.
- Malia (10/5): - Awesome home to rest and revive! Stay for a few days and the grey kitty cat will be super friendly, which Most cats enjoy being stroked and petted. Stroking or petting your cat feels good to them. Petting a cat can help relieve stress and anxiety. Pet cats.
- Jose (2/5): - Where are the curtains to all the windows, especially the bathrooms ?
- Allen (4/5): - Seems like the bed sheet doesn't clean after last tenant left. The toilet doesn't clean
- Ashok kumar (8/5): - It has more option to improve in part of cleanliness
- THANH (6/5): - The bed was clean, the location is easy to find. The property is smell food very strong.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Quiet place, easy to check in and well organized! Parking is as expected in LA.
- Gopal (10/5): - All good
- Nicholas (10/5): - Super cool super comfortable
- Daniel (2/5): No guarantee you'll get a bed if you pay - Garbage. No bed available when I got there and never responded to make things right. I had no where to sleep and everyone there was very unusual. Very unpleasant. Stole my money no refund no response.
- Raj (2/5): - So don’t even think of trying to Stay as the place is too Scary with wild cats coming inside as the gates are all open. Weird guys bring the cats inside and Sleeping inside on a bed
- Jocsan (2/5): - Smells like feet make you take off your shoes before going upstairs to the rooms so it smelled like feet all night everywhere. Room smelled horrible like homeless ppl and sweet
- Jason (4/5): - The place was filthy and smelled like stinky feet all the time.
I was there for 3 days and never saw a cleaner, except when someone came to change the bedding for a new guest.
The upstairs toilet was clogged and the smell was putrid. The floor was always dry and the furniture dusty.
Having almost 30 people in a house, making all that money and not having a cleaner come in at least once a day is very unethical.
I was extremely disappointed and I would not return here.
- zulkifli (8/5): - Affordable way to stay in LA. the bed has curtain for privacy.
- Cambrinette (2/5): - I was told to vacate the property over false claims that I got into it with other residents (I never so much as said hello to anyone other than the manager & vice versa) after I spent one night out of thirty that I paid for ($1080). Then, was told that I cannot get my money back. I work as a nursing assistant & work hard for what I have. That kind of unprofessionalism was uncalled for and I feel robbed and taken advantage of. Beware!
- Francisco J (2/5): - Property managers aren't interested in proper service. Will risk leaving someone out to get assaulted if they aren't of a certain class. Discriminate against people carrying their life's possessions. I would not recommend the major thoroughfare/area around residential area for tourists going to downtown...AT YOUR OWN RISK/DISCRETION.
