• lisa (10/5): Amazing hidden gem in middle of town. Highly recommend! - The views are incredible! The host is amazing! Place was fully stocked too! The beds were super comfortable, it’s with in walking distance to everything and has parking which was a bonus! The hot tub was such a great addition. We will definitely be back again. The guest book was such a great idea, it was nice to leave a little note of appreciation.

The host is also very communicative and clear about rules and instructions to check in and check out. They also provided toys for our children. Overall it was a great experience! • Eva (8/5): Super Ausgangspunkt, um Basel mit Bus und Strassenbahn zu erkunden! Großzügige Ausstattung. - Die Lage war top, die Schränke gut gefüllt und Kaffee und Tee soviel man trinken konnte! Bei dem tollen Wetter war die Dachterrasse super zu nutzen! Leider gab es für die 6 Personen nur ein kleines Bad und eine einzige Toilette. Auch über Liegestühle hätten wir uns sehr gefreut und das Wasser im Jakuzzi machte nicht den frischesten Eindruck.
• Annemarie (1/5): I DO NOT RECOMMEND RENTING THIS APARTMENT - I rented this apartment months in advance of my stay and prepaid it as well. On the day I was to arrive there, a few hours earlier, at 5:00 AM, the apartment owner, Mr Lawrence Pawelzik, cancelled my booking. His reason was: "overbooking". On Friday, March 27, there was a friendship soccer game (Switzerland-Germany), and it is clear that Mr Pawelzik cancelled my booking to accommodate a larger group, as his apartment has five beds. I was left in a very uncomfortable and stressful situation, scrambling to find a new place to rent within a few hours. Mr Pawelzik is unprofessional and should not underestimate his clients who rent his apartment in good faith and prepay it!

• Sara (10/5): Appartement Idéal sur tous les plans pour notre séjour de 3 jours à Bâle - Appartement super bien situé et vraiment spacieux (4 adultes et 3 ado). Calme alors que nous sommes en plein centre ville. Commerces de la gare tout proche, ouverts le dimanche/tard le soir ce qui est pratique. Grand coin salon et salle à manger très apprécié. Grande terrasse équipée pour manger. Cuisine vraiment très très bien équipée en vaisselle et appareils ; avec grande quantité de nourriture mise à disposition gratuitement (paquets de pâtes, café, thé, huiles, épices, soda,…) même bières et vin (à payer). Très appréciable et généreux. Idéal pour découvrir la ville; on peut y arriver en train (1/2 minute de la gare) ou en bus/taxi depuis l’aéroport (bus nº50 direct); tout peut se faire à pied depuis l’appartement. Si visite plus éloignée du centre nécessitant les transports publics (fondation Beyeler, musée Tinguely, etc…) départs des trams/ bus depuis la place de la gare. BaselCards fournies par mail par notre hôte qui permettent de voyager gratuitement en TP et font bénéficier de réduction dans les musées notamment. Hôte très à l’écoute et arrangeant (heures d’arrivée/départ). On recommande vivement cette location. Un peu froid mais chauffages d’appoint à disposition et chaussons/chaussettes antidérapantes fournies par notre hôte. Prévoir un pull chaud l’hiver.

Right by lots of fast food / restaurants, plus co-op. Comfortable beds, plenty of space in the apartment, worked really well for our family of 5. Didn't have normal black tea (loads of other teas+ coffee!), bit we bought some from co-op and left it there!

• Laura (9/5): A spacious penthouse apartment with a fantastic view - A fantastic location, right by the central train station. As part of paying the city tax, we were given a Baselcard each to enjoy our stay with. It’s a very spacious apartment with a comfortable sofa to relax on and a good-sized dining area with fantastic views of the city. The kitchen was very well equipped (we were spoiled for choice with plug socket converters!), with plenty of tea, coffee and cold drinks available. The beds were very comfortable and the overall temperature was cozy despite our staying during a storm and cold spell. The shower worked well for each of us, and we even managed to use the washer/dryer. Lawrence the owner was very responsive to my questions, thank you. It’s only a minor thing but we would have liked at least one more bathroom (there is only one for the 3 bedrooms). We managed to work around this as 3 singles but I imagine it would be tricky for 3 couples/families.

Sie war sauber und es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht: von Handtücher und Fön über Toaster und Heißluft Fritteuse bis zu Gewürze und Öl. Kaffee und kalte Getränke stehen auch für einen angemessenen Kostenbeitrag zur Verfügung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

• Sabine (10/5): Verstecktes Juwel! - Ich habe noch nie eine soo gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung erlebt! Es wurde wirklich einfach an alles gedacht! Einfach Wow! Von Gewürzen über Ladegeräte und Adapter, Waschmaschine bis Kinderspielzeug - alles was man brauchen könnte, ist da! Die Wohnung ist groß und geräumig, liebevoll eingerichtet, sauber und gemütlich. Auch eine Dachterrasse, auf der man zusammen sitzen und sogar grillen kann, gibt's. Perfekt für Familien mit Kindern - sogar an Tipps für Basel mit Kindern ist gedacht. Wir hatten bei unserer Anreise einen medizinischen Notfall und waren sehr gestresst - der Gastgeber war total verständnisvoll und unterstützend. Wir waren gerne länger geblieben und kommen sicher mal wieder. Alles also fabelhaft. Das riesige Haus selbst wirkt nicht sehr einladend, ebensowenig wie das Bahnhofsgebiet - in der Wohnung selbst merkt man davon aber nichts!!!

• Simea (9/5): Hervorragende Lage, sehr grosse Wohnung, super ausgestattet - definitiv empfehlenswert - Die Lage war hervorragend und Lawrence beschrieb sehr genau, wo wir den Schlüssel finden würden. Mehrere Restaurants sowie Geschäfte waren in unmittelbarer Nähe, was sehr nützlich war. In der Unterkunft fehlte es an gar nichts, sogar mit Getränken wurden wir verwöhnt - vielen Dank. Im Badezimmer sowie auf den Teppichen waren mehrere Haare von vorhergehenden Personen oder jemandem, der die Wohnung putzt/e.

La situation très proche de la gare. Appartement très calme pour une situation au centre-ville. Appartement très lumineux. Vu que l’appartement se trouve sur les toits, il fait chaud. Dommage que l’appartement possède uniquement un wc.

The kitchen is well equipped with pastas, sauces, teas etc, which were great! Great communication with the owner as well. It was so hot! And we really struggled to get the apartment cooled down (with the aircon and fans).

• Anzella (8/5): Fijn, lief dat er veel gratis en niet gratis drank was en zoveel kruiden en etenswaren! - Terras Het stonk erg op de toilet en ook het beddengoed van één van de slaapkamers. Beide waarschijnlijk omdat het wasgoed te lang nat is geweest. Het viel op dat er ook tijdens ons weekend drie dagen lang natte was in de gesloten wasmachine zat.

There was no comfy place to put your things when you shower. Generally could use a little renovation, Some bedsheets seemed not fresh. A light wasn't working in one of the bedrooms.

Maar dit is alleen een kleine vrijstaande. Zeker niet voldoende voor het hele appartement. Veel te warm. Veel boetes als je de vaatwasser niet uitruimt, als je teveel bedden gebruikt etc. Het is vakantie dan wil je lekker kunnen ontspannen. Buitenruimte niet privé. Vloer in keuken plakte enorm Overal losse matjes op de vloer in het huis. Ziet er niet uit en niet praktisch voor de gasten Had de binnenruimte groter verwacht.
