Kate (6/5): Great location. Be careful of owner demanding a deposit. - Great location although quite noisy being on the high street. Nice basket of groceries on our arrival. The owner demanded a £300 deposit paid into her bank account before she would release the code to get in. This was not in any terms or conditions on booking.com. Afterwards she made up reasons to not give back the money. One small issue was legitimate but she listed several other. No dryer. Poorly provisioned kitchen. Couch was stained and smelly. Bathroom was in poor condition and small. Owner asked if we were home to check a leaking tap. I said we were not and didn't hear again so I don't know if she came.
