- Anderson (10/5): - What an amazing place. Really comfortable, close to everything in town and really nice people. They were really accommodating. We had a great time staying here 😊
- Gerard (10/5): One of the best bnbs ive stayed in! - All the personal touches and details were great

laundry
Well stocked kitchen
- Karen (10/5): Fantastic -
- Stuart (7/5): Great stay, pleasantly surprised. - Roomy, comfortable with breakfast cereals, tea and coffee plus lots of other handy items supplied. The property is aged and the gardens tired
- gergely (10/5): My trip to Cooktown became a spiritual event thans to this place. Do not miss this out! - This place is The Heaven.
All my travels around the world I have never had such a pleasant surprise. The pictures do not give back the cleanliness and charm of the place. Everything was tip-top! Ease of communication:100% I got detailed email and text message. Super easy. Immediate answer on my questions. Equipment: this place has everything! Really, whatever you need it has it. Just one thing: all around Aus this was the first place where they provided a plug converter. In Cooktown. Cmon guys you must admit they put in their hearts into this place! Location: center of the small town, easy to find. And a heavy commendation: taste! This place is so tasteful, well-thought off and decorated. Simple yet elegant. I never met the owners but it would be a privilege to meet ppl who provide this care and attention. Thank you very much! I simply loved those place! They provided small maps to find the attractions around the city and the shire.
- Victor (10/5): Excellent. Would certainly recommend this place. - The house was bigger than we expected. located in a quiet street very close to the town centre. The deck was very nice under the flowering frangipani tree, excellent place for a morning coffee. The driveway has a steep incline with gravel at the top turn into the parking lot. A four-wheel drive or vehicle with better traction would handle it more easily than our two-wheel drive city car.
- Kym (10/5): Will recommend to everyone - Fantastic house including every little thing you might need or want. Easy walking distance to main street, quiet except for birdsong. Loved the sunsets from the deck over the Endeavour River
- Robert (8/5): -
- Trudy (9/5): Come see. Come stay - The property was clean and well presented. It was close to the river and amenities. If I could suggest a recliner in the lounge, as I found the chairs not terribly comfortable.
- jude (10/5): - The bed was so comfortable that I had the best night’s sleep for over 3 weeks. The provisions were very generous and unexpected. It was lovely to have the entire place to ourselves. It was very pleasant watching the sunset from the front deck.
- Ray Muffett (9/5): We were very impressed with the extras the host provided to make our stay memorable. - The car parking was a bit tricky due to the gradient of the drive.
- Darren (10/5): Great location, great value & excellent hosts :-) - Fantastic location right near the centre of town only a short walk to the local shops, restaurants and pub. Wonderful communication from the owners and exceptional value for money.
- Dianne (9/5): -
- David (8/5): Very good - Location and all facilities
- Libby (9/5): -
- Cheryl (10/5): - Comfortable, clean and beautifully prepared for guests.
- Cynthia (10/5): Exceptional - We enjoyed breakfast with the birds every morning on the front deck. There was fresh milk, jam, and breakfast cereal waiting our arrival. Location was perfect for the tourist end of town, no need for the car most days. Can't think of anything to make note of
- Kathryn (10/5): A perfect home. - It's very obvious that this comfortable and quiet home has hosts who care. Very generous provisions provided with everything you might need to make your stay enjoyable and easy.
It was great to be able to park the car and walk 5 minutes to the main street and foreshore.
- Mike (8/5): Very good -
- Graham (10/5): Exceptional - J and Ella's holiday home was fantastic.
There was nothing to fault.
We appreciated how clean it was. It even smelled clean.
The holiday house is very big and would cater to a large family easily.
Communication was great. We asked a question and received an answer under 15 minutes.
Location was handy to everything.
There is parking off the street. That we had to leave such lovely accommodation after one night.
- Julie (9/5): Relaxing and comfortable - Well catered and thoughtfully appointed.
Very clean. Great location and quiet.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lesleyr01 (10/5): WOW - couldn't have asked for more! - Everything was excellent! They supplied more than we've ever had before - nothing was left out. We've stayed in many homes in our travels but nothing matches this for the consideration shown to guests. From choc treats in the fridge to variety of breakfast foods, real milk, butter and so many condiments and jams, even a soda stream. There was sunscreen, proper shower cap, toothbrush still unopened, bandaids, hairclips, insect repellent. Everything you would use in your own home. The house itself was beautiful, views great and quite private, very clean. There is wifi. Can't praise it enough. Glad we visited Cooktown, very picturesque and Botanic Gardens were lovely, as was the gift shop run by volunteers selling home made paintings, clothing etc. Thank you to J & Ella. They did say to be aware when walking up the front path as can be slippery when wet. The only other thing was the couch wasn't comfortable for me, but the chairs were firmer which was better.
- Bonnie (10/5): Beautiful and relaxing - Definitely a home away from home. It takes your breath away as it's so beautiful and comfortable
- Dawn (9/5): Superb - All the extras the host provided to make the stay a good one Curtains didn't fit the windows property and so it didn't feel private.
Couldn't find a sharp knife for cutting vegetables.
- Rick (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alasdair (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samantha (10/5): Perfect, wish we could’ve stayed longer - It felt like being home, it was lovely. I loved that there were some basic breakfast foods and a Milky Way in the fridge was a lovely treat to find after dinner!
- Stefan (10/5): cooctownsbest - all of it -------all good
- Michael (10/5): Great one bedroom - Nice deck with sunset views. Quiet clean roomy yet close to everything. POD coffee with milk, breakfast cereals etc. Also well as all the soap, shampoo, spices, everything. Were they in the hotel business? Parking too
- Brenda (10/5): Beautifully renovated and decorated. - J & Ella thought of everything, the house was brilliant. Beautifully renovated and decorated, I could not ask for more
- Waratah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lianne (7/5): Good - We assumed the screen door to be the sliding front one. Took a bit of fiddling to realise it was the back one.
- Kerri (10/5): Exceptional - House was lovely and clean and had everything you could think of needing. The owners of this property have done an exceptionally good job. Would love to return at some point in the future.

- Fuhong (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aggy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Warren (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful holiday house with absolutely everything you need and easy walk to restaurants. One of the nicest places I have stayed in.
- Roger (10/5): Best air BNB in Cooktown - The whole experience was flawless. The owner was polite and very helpful, and the hose was spacious, modern, and very well kept. The bed was super comfortable, and I had the best night sleep. Having to leave
- Michael (10/5): Great! - A neat, tidy and comfortable unit with a lot of un-anticipated extras like milk in the fridge, a range of breakfast cereals and chocky mint bix.
The wallaby in the back yard on Sunday morning. The off street parking area.
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Leigh (9/5): Great place to stay, would come again. - The location was great, easy to walk to the Main Street to all the historical sites and restaurants. Loved being able to relax in the living room. The kitchen was very well equipped and had plenty of basic supplies - milk, teas and coffee, chocolate biscuits, breakfast cereals, spread and sauces, salt and pepper, oils and vinegar etc. Very generously provided for. Appreciated the washing machine too and walking to the supermarket along the same street. Nothing really. All was good, although we had a low powered rental car that spun its wheels a bit at the parking space, but that is really ‘nit-picking’ and was NOT a problem.
- Simon (10/5): All round very good, peace & serenity, house was very well appointed, more than happy. - Supplies were plentiful, selections were good.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cathy (10/5): Perfect stay - A lot of thought has been put into this cottage with all the little extras to make the travellers feel welcome and comfortable.

- Anthony (10/5): Exceptional - fantastic location, breakfast and homely feel of B&B
- Shanaya (10/5): Exceptional - House was a little bundle of oasis & clean.
