Guest Reviews
- Jul (3/5): A disappointment - The apartment was dirty with leftover trash from previous renters, and WiFi was not working. Was advertised as 2 beds, but one was only a sleeping couch with no bedding on it. No lights in the living room were working.
The staff ignored us when trying to contact them about it.
- Simon (9/5): Perfectly located in the middle of town and reasonably priced - Located in the middle of the city with easy access to everything Nothing
- Rodney (9/5): Superb - Very convenient for our activities...magic round
And special mention to the lovely lady who cleaned the unit. She let us check our gear in quite early, and even take a quick shower.
Lovely lovely woman.
- Lisa (1/5): Bad - Extremely run down. Microwave was filthy. No knives to cut fruit I had purchased to make fruit salad. Washing machine with linen from previous guests was running when I arrived. Laundry from previous customers was on drying racks on balcony for my entire visit. Wet and dirty face cloth was hanging on shower tap. Broken cupboard door hung on bedroom floor. Bedroom closet not able to be used..absolutely filled with bedding...unable to close the closet! This apartment was a disgrace.
- Tom (8/5): I really enjoyed my stay - The property was in the centre of CBD The kitchen is cramped up, perhaps move the washing machine to the balcony or bathroom
- Leon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patricia (5/5): Not ideal for a family , the unit was way too small -
- Moale (6/5): Pleasant - Yes with the preferred location Only one key should have two keys
- Kari (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zillah (8/5): Great location and our host was in close communication to facilitate our stay. - Good location as we were unfamiliar with Brisbane. Our host replied quickly to our queries. We appreciated the washing machine and the large clothes airer was great to dry our clothes. The balcony was large and we enjoyed sitting out in the sun after all the rain in Noosa! It was great to have a tv in the lounge area and also in the bedroom but they were on awkward angles for viewing. The shower being over the bath makes it very slippery getting in and out. We would recommend a handrail be installed for safety.
- Tony (7/5): Great location, below expectations for a 4 star room that is run down. - Great location, spacious seating size The advertising is misleading. This is a privately owned room in Sebel hotel, access to hotel pool etc but not parking (which is expensive), furniture and utilities are tired and worn out.
- Kara (4/5): Disappointing -
- Sally (5/5): Passable -
- Stevan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Idris (9/5): Superb -
- Keir (9/5): Superb -
- Gay (2/5): Very poor - Location To whom it may concern
I would like to seek some compensation for what happened to me re my booking on Saturday.
As you know, I paid $358 for a room that I could not get into.
Firstly – thanks for the information about how to get the key from the lock box, that was very helpful, even though the box was already unlocked and I locked it to the best of my ability.
I also got a phone call around 1.08pm confirming that I understood the message and that on track to arrive at 3pm which I confirmed.
I had an email asking for my arrival time and departure time which I gave as 3pm on the day before so they knew my arrival time.
So, when I got the key and went to Sebel, they could not let me into the room as they did not know the room number as a private booking. This was very stressful for me as I had worked all morning and driven 2.5 hours and needed to shower and change and be ready for the function I was attending by 4pm. I made several phone calls and sent emails requesting this information. I went back through all my correspondence as at no stage did I have this information.
I did not know what to do nor could I afford another room. I had already budgeted for this room as beyond our means but the function was in the city and I had a tight turn around with time given as I had to work before coming down.
I, had no choice but leave without showering, the Sebel would not hold onto my bags so had to take it with me and this was very embarrassing and inconvenient. At the function – I changed in a bathroom, without a shower and felt uncomfortable and dirty. At 5.15pm I received an email and text message with room 1205. This was over 2 hours after my check in time and not acceptable considering the money I had paid and that I could not use my room as intended and had to be somewhere at 4pm.
I got back to the room at 11pm after my function to finally check in.
Could you please look into this for me and let me know what compensation can be given. I am a 56 year
